Abstract
Description
[0001] SPORTS SHIRT WITH QR CODE SUPERIMPOSED ON THE PLAYER'S NUMBER FOR MARKETING AND MULTIPLE INFORMATION
[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0003] The QR-coded sportswear is aimed at sports marketing and multi-information, as it uses information and communication technologies (ICT) to provide fans with real-time updates.
[0004] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0005] QR (Quick Response) codes are currently used in multiple facets of everyday life. They have become widely used due to their ability to store large amounts of information and allow quick and easy access to digital data. In relation to T-shirts, they are sometimes used to sell or display product information; they are equivalent to a barcode. Currently, various T-shirts feature QR codes of any size and shape in their design.
[0006] In sports such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, and others, each player must have a number on the back of their jersey to identify and distinguish them from others.
[0007] DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0008] The technical advantages of a sports jersey that has a QR code superimposed on the player's number in its design are:
[0009] 1. Better promote the marketing of the companies or brands that appear on the shirt worn by the player.
[0010] 2. Increase the number of sponsors, since only a small number of sponsors can be displayed on the jersey. This can be solved with QR codes that can redirect fans to a website with more sponsors. 3. Connect fans to the website of the sports institution to which the player belongs, where they will find extensive information about the player, including his career, statistics, and sporting career, while also displaying the player's number, which is essential and is superimposed on the QR code.
[0011] One feature is that the QR code must have an approximate size and area superimposed on the player's number on the front and back of the jersey that identifies the player necessary for it to be read by spectators and television viewers using their cell phones for scanning.
[0012] However, it is essential to ensure that the placement and design of QR codes superimposed on jersey numbers do not negatively impact athletes' visibility or comfort during sports practice. It is also essential to ensure that all regulations and standards related to advertising in sports are met.
[0013] It has the following additional features:
[0014] 1. Subtle Integration: QR codes can be discreetly printed on the jersey overlaying the number, avoiding the overwhelming visual appearance often associated with multiple sponsor logos. This allows teams and athletes to maintain their visual identity without distractions.
[0015] 2. Interactivity and Engagement: The ability to scan the QR code with mobile devices allows for an interactive experience for viewers. This interaction fosters engagement with sponsors and creates a bridge between the brand and the team or athlete's fans.
[0016] 3. Updating Flexibility: QR codes can be modified periodically, allowing sponsor information to be updated based on new campaigns, promotions, or sponsor changes. This provides a dynamic platform for keeping information relevant and up-to-date. 4. Data Tracking: By using QR codes, it's possible to track the number of scans and interaction with the information provided. This gives sponsors a clearer view of the impact of their marketing strategies.
[0017] 5. Versatility: QR codes can be applied to different types of sports jerseys, including soccer, basketball, tennis, and other sports jerseys. This makes the technology accessible to a wide range of teams and athletes.
