Abstract
Description
Mobile devices
[0001] The present disclosure relates to mobile terminals.
[0002] The following Patent Document 1 describes a technology for users to buy and sell tickets to real events held in real space, and in connection with this, it is also envisioned that users will buy and sell tickets to participate in various events held in virtual space (referred to as "virtual events"). The above-mentioned virtual events are significantly different from real events in that there is no restriction on the number of people that the venue can accommodate (i.e., an upper limit on the number of seats). Therefore, it is conceivable that tickets for participation will be divided and sold to others.
[0003] On the other hand, it is very important to optimize the price when dividing tickets and selling them to others as described above, depending on user information (user attribute information, behavioral history information, life event information, etc.).
[0004] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2018-014128
[0005] However, at present, there has been little consideration given to optimizing the price when dividing up tickets for virtual events and selling them to others, based on the user information described above.
[0006] Therefore, the present disclosure aims to appropriately support users who wish to purchase tickets for virtual events in selling tickets at fair prices based on individual user information.
[0007] The mobile terminal according to the present disclosure is a mobile terminal that includes a user identification unit that identifies users who can interact in the virtual space with a subject who has purchased a ticket for a virtual event to be held in the virtual space; a price determination unit that determines a fair price for the ticket for each user based on basic information including user information about the user identified by the user identification unit and purchase price information for the ticket by the subject; and a display control unit that displays the fair price determined by the price determination unit in the virtual space in association with the relevant user, accepts buying and selling information including user information and selling price information for the ticket to be sold in installments, reduces the subject's out-of-pocket expenses based on the buying and selling information, and displays the latest information including the reduced out-of-pocket expenses in association with the subject and each user.
[0008] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to appropriately support users who wish to purchase tickets for a virtual event in selling tickets at a fair price based on individual user information.
[0009] It is a system configuration diagram according to an embodiment. It is a flow diagram showing processing executed by a mobile terminal. (a) is a diagram showing the initial state of the virtual space, (b) is a diagram showing the state immediately after a ticket has been sold in installments to user A, (c) is a diagram showing the state immediately after a ticket has been sold in installments to user B, and (d) is a diagram showing the state immediately after a ticket has been sold in installments to user C. It is a diagram for explaining a reduction in the subject's out-of-pocket payment. It is a diagram showing an example of the hardware configuration of a mobile terminal.
[0010] An embodiment of a mobile device according to the present disclosure will be described below with reference to the drawings. The mobile device according to the present disclosure has basic functions of linking with a cloud server that controls a virtual space (such as a metaverse) to display the virtual space on the display of the mobile device, displaying an avatar of a subject user (hereinafter referred to as "subject") operating the mobile device in the virtual space, and enabling conversation with other users present in the virtual space.
[0011] 1 , the mobile terminal 10 includes functional blocks for realizing the functions of the present disclosure, such as a user identification unit 11, a price determination unit 12, and a display control unit 13. Although not shown, the mobile terminal 10 also includes information display functions, user operation functions, and the like, similar to those of a typical smartphone. The cloud server 20, which cooperates with the mobile terminal 10, includes a user information DB 21, which stores user attribute information, behavioral history information, life event information, and the like, relating to various users. The cloud server 20 is capable of providing the above-described user information relating to various users to the mobile terminal 10 in response to a request from the mobile terminal 10. In the present disclosure, user information (personal information) of various users is used in processing, but it goes without saying that only user information authorized by the user is used.
[0012] The following describes the functions of each functional block of the mobile terminal 10. The user identification unit 11 has a function to identify users who can interact in the virtual space with an entity (the operator of the mobile terminal 10) who has purchased a ticket for a virtual event held in the virtual space.
[0013] The price determination unit 12 has a function of determining a fair ticket price for each user based on basic information including (a) user information about the user identified by the user identification unit 11 and (b) ticket purchase price information by the subject. As will be described in detail later, the price determination unit 12 calculates a score representing the interest level in the virtual event for each user based on various basic information including (a) user information, (b) purchase price information, (c) time information, (d) user location information, etc., and determines a fair price based on the obtained score for each user.
[0014] The display control unit 13 has the functions of displaying the fair price determined by the price determination unit 12 in association with the relevant user in the virtual space, accepting buying and selling information including user information and selling price information of the ticket installment buyer, reducing the subject's out-of-pocket expenses based on the buying and selling information, and displaying the latest information including the reduced out-of-pocket expenses in association with the subject and each user. Details of these functions will be described later along with the processing description of FIG. 2. Note that in this embodiment, an example is described in which the fair price and latest information are displayed near the relevant user, etc., as shown in FIGS. 3(a) to 3(d). However, displaying the fair price and latest information in such a nearby location is not required; for example, the fair price and latest information may be displayed in a list format on the screen, corresponding to the relevant user, etc.
[0015] Next, the processing executed by the mobile terminal 10 will be described with reference to the flow diagram of Fig. 2. The processing of Fig. 2 may be triggered by, for example, a predetermined start operation being performed by an entity (operator of the mobile terminal 10) who has legitimately purchased one ticket for a virtual event from the organizer.
[0016] First, the user identification unit 11 identifies users who can interact with the entity (operator of the mobile terminal 10) who purchased a ticket for a virtual event held in the virtual space (step S1 in FIG. 2). For example, the user identification unit 11 identifies users who can interact with the entity (operator of the mobile terminal 10) who purchased a ticket for a virtual event held in the virtual space by inquiring of the cloud server 20 about user information (information for identifying the user, etc.) about the user displayed in the virtual space.
[0017] Next, the price determination unit 12 calculates a score representing the degree of interest in the virtual event for each user based on the basic information (step S2), and determines a fair price for each user based on the score (step S3). Details of the score calculation in step S2 will be described later.
[0018] Then, the display control unit 13 displays the fair price determined by the price determination unit 12 near the user in the virtual space (step S4). At this time, as shown in FIG. 3(a), in addition to the fair price, the score may also be displayed near each user.
[0019] The process of FIG. 2 then waits for the entry of ticket sales information (seller and sales price) into the mobile device 10 (steps S5 and S8). During this time, the subject is expected to interact with users displayed in the virtual space and invite them to attend the virtual event. For example, if the subject shown in FIG. 3(a) interacts with User A and a ticket sales installment transaction is concluded at User A's fair price (2,000 yen), the subject enters sales information into the mobile device 10, including information such as "User A" as the buyer and "2,000 yen" as the sales price. The display control unit 13 then accepts the entered sales information and deducts the subject's out-of-pocket expenses based on the sales information (step S6). For example, as shown in FIG. 4, the subject's ticket purchase price (out-of-pocket expenses: 10,000 yen) is deducted by the sales price to User A (2,000 yen), resulting in a reduced out-of-pocket expenses (8,000 yen). Then, as shown underlined in Figure 3 (b), the display control unit 13 displays the subject's reduced self-pay amount (8,000 yen) as the latest information near the subject, and also displays near user A that user A has already purchased a ticket.
[0020] The process then returns to step S5 in the flow of FIG. 2, and steps S6 and S7 are repeated each time new sales information is input. For example, if the subject interacts with user B and a split ticket purchase is concluded at user B's fair price (4,000 yen), the subject inputs sales information into the mobile terminal 10, including "user B" as the split purchase destination and a sales price of "4,000 yen." The display control unit 13 then accepts the input sales information, reduces the subject's out-of-pocket expenses based on the sales information (step S6), and displays the latest information (underlined in FIG. 3(c)) (step S7). At this time, as shown in FIG. 4, the subject's out-of-pocket expenses (8,000 yen) are deducted from the sales price to user B (4,000 yen), resulting in the reduced out-of-pocket expenses (4,000 yen). The subject's reduced out-of-pocket expenses (4,000 yen) are displayed near the subject as the latest information (underlined in FIG. 3(c)), and a message indicating that user B has already purchased the ticket is displayed near user B.
[0021] Furthermore, for example, if the subject interacts with user C and a split-ticket sale is concluded at user C's fair price (500 yen), the subject inputs sales information including "user C" as the split-ticket purchaser and the sales price of "500 yen" into mobile terminal 10. Display control unit 13 accepts the input sales information, reduces the subject's out-of-pocket cost based on the sales information (step S6), and displays the latest information underlined in Figure 3(d) (step S7). At this time, as shown in Figure 4, the subject's out-of-pocket cost (4000 yen) is deducted from the sales price to user C (500 yen), resulting in a reduced out-of-pocket cost (3500 yen). The subject's reduced out-of-pocket cost (3500 yen) is displayed near the subject as the latest information underlined in Figure 3(d), along with a message indicating that user C has already purchased the ticket.
[0022] Thereafter, if there is no new input within a preset time period, or if an end instruction is given by the subject, a YES determination is made in step S8, and the processing of FIG. 2 ends.
[0023] (Regarding Score Calculation in Step S2 of FIG. 2) Here, various examples of score calculation in step S2 of FIG. 2 will be described.
[0024] (1) The price determination unit 12 calculates a relatively low score below a predetermined level for a user who is assumed to have a low level of interest in virtual events based on behavioral history information, including participation history information for various events, among the user information. This allows the score for a user who is assumed to have a low level of interest in virtual events, such as a user who has little or no past participation history in events similar to the virtual event, to be set at a relatively low level, and an appropriate score can be calculated based on the user's behavioral history information.
[0025] (2) The price determination unit 12 calculates a score of a predetermined level or higher for users who are expected to have a potentially high interest in virtual events based on user information, including life event information related to life stage changes and behavioral history information including participation history information for various events before the life stage change. For example, in a situation where a certain user has experienced a life stage change due to a life event such as childbirth, but has a history of participating in many events similar to the virtual event before the life stage change, if a predetermined number of years have passed since the life stage change (childbirth), it is fully expected that the user has finished raising their child and has a potentially high interest in virtual events. Therefore, the score for such users who are expected to have a potentially high interest can be set to a relatively high level, and users with a potentially high interest can be attracted as fans of artists appearing in the event, thereby expanding the fan base.
[0026] (3) When the basic information includes time information and the current time indicated by the time information is within a predetermined time of the start time of the virtual event, the price determination unit 12 calculates a discounted score. This allows the price of tickets sold in installments to be lowered immediately before the start of the virtual event, thereby encouraging users who are unsure whether to participate in the virtual event to actively participate.
[0027] (4) When the basic information includes user location information, the price determination unit 12 calculates a discounted score for users who are located near the venue of the virtual event in the virtual space based on the location information. This allows the price of tickets to be reduced for users who are located near the venue of the virtual event, such as users who are unsure whether to participate in the virtual event, thereby encouraging such users to actively participate.
[0028] According to the embodiment described above, it is possible to appropriately support users who wish to purchase tickets for a virtual event in selling tickets at a fair price based on individual user information.
[0029] In addition, by selling tickets in installments at a fair price to users who wish to purchase tickets, more users will have the opportunity to participate in the virtual event, which will lead to an expansion of the fan base of artists appearing at the event.
[0030] Furthermore, for the entity, by reducing the amount of money that they have to pay for purchasing tickets, they can use the reduced amount to purchase goods related to the event, which can contribute to promoting sales of goods.
[0031] The gist of the present disclosure lies in the following [1] to [6].
