[0005] Therefore, an object of the present disclosure is to enable noise countermeasures to be added to electrical equipment while minimizing design changes.
[0006] The electrical device of the present disclosure is an electrical device comprising a circuit board, a first board terminal connected to the circuit board, a magnetic core provided on the first board terminal, and a first wiring having one end connected to the first board terminal.
[0007] According to the present disclosure, noise countermeasures can be added to electrical equipment while minimizing design changes.

[0009] [Description of Embodiments of the Present Disclosure] First, embodiments of the present disclosure will be listed and described.
[0010] The electrical device of the present disclosure is as follows.
[0011] (1) An electrical device comprising a circuit board, a first board terminal connected to the circuit board, a magnetic core provided on the first board terminal, and a first wiring having one end connected to the first board terminal.
[0012] According to the electrical device of (1), a magnetic core is provided in the first board terminal, thereby providing noise countermeasures in the electrical device. Furthermore, a first wiring is provided in the first board terminal, allowing the first board terminal to be connected to an external connection partner via the first wiring. It is possible to add noise countermeasures to the electrical device while minimizing design changes. In particular, any design changes to the circuit board are limited to the portion surrounding the board terminal, eliminating the need for major design changes.
[0013] (2) In the electric device of (1), the electric device may include a second board terminal connected to the circuit board, and the magnetic core may be provided in the first board terminal of the first and second board terminals, thereby providing necessary noise countermeasures for some of the multiple board terminals.
[0014] (3) In the electrical device of (2), the electrical device may include a case that houses the circuit board, a second wiring having one end connected to the second board terminal, and an external connection connector to which the other end of the first wiring and the other end of the second wiring are connected, wherein the first wiring and the second wiring are each a coated wire including a conductor and an insulating coating covering the conductor, the one end of the first wiring and the one end of the second wiring are located inside the case, the other end of the first wiring and the other end of the second wiring extend outside the case, and the case may be provided with a wiring penetration portion through which an intermediate portion of the first wiring and an intermediate portion of the second wiring pass. This allows the external connection connector to be provided outside the case. Furthermore, the configuration of the connection port of the external connection connector can be configured to correspond to the board connector, eliminating the need to change the configuration of the connection partner, such as a wire harness.
[0015] (4) In the electrical device of (3), the electrical device may include a sheet to which the first wiring and the second wiring are fixed and which keeps the first wiring and the second wiring flat. This allows the wiring portion outside the case to be made thinner. The sheet also allows the first wiring and the second wiring to be arranged in accordance with the arrangement of the board terminals.
[0016] (5) In the electrical device of (3) or (4), the case may include a clamping portion that clamps the connection portion between the first substrate terminal and the first wiring and the connection portion between the second substrate terminal and the second wiring, thereby preventing rattling of the connection portion between the first substrate terminal and the first wiring and the connection portion between the second substrate terminal and the second wiring.
[0017] (6) In the electrical device of any one of (3) to (5), the electrical device may include an insulating support plate that supports the intermediate portion of the first board terminal and the intermediate portion of the second board terminal, and the connection portion between the first board terminal and the first wiring and the connection portion between the second board terminal and the second wiring may be welded portions. In this way, the intermediate portions of the board terminals are supported by the insulating support plate, thereby stabilizing the posture of the board terminals when they are welded to the wiring.
[0018] (7) In the electrical device of (2), the electrical device may further include a case for accommodating the circuit board, and a connector housing for holding the second board terminals, the connector housing having a portion covered by the case and another portion open to the outside of the case. This allows the portion of the second board terminals that does not have a magnetic core to be a board connector.
[0019] (8) In the electrical device of (7), the electrical device may include an external connection terminal connected to the other end of the first wiring and held in the connector housing. This allows the electrical device to be a board connector including the external connection terminal of the circuit related to the first board terminal. In this case, it is not necessary to change the configuration of the connected device, such as a wire harness.
[0020] (9) In the electrical device of (7), the electrical device may include an external connection terminal connected to the other end of the first wiring and located outside the connector housing, thereby allowing the external connection terminal of the circuit related to the first board terminal to be separated from the board connector.
[0021] (10) In the electric device of (9), the first wiring may be a covered wire including a conductor and an insulating coating covering the conductor, the one end of the first wiring may be located inside the case, the other end of the first wiring may extend outside the case, and the case may be provided with a wiring penetration part through which an intermediate part of the first wiring penetrates. This allows the first external connection terminal to be connected to an external wiring outside the case.
[0022] [Details of the embodiments of the present disclosure] Specific examples of the electrical device of the present disclosure will be described below with reference to the drawings. Note that the present disclosure is not limited to these examples, but is defined by the claims, and is intended to include all modifications within the meaning and scope of the claims.
[0023] [Embodiment 1] An electric device according to embodiment 1 will now be described. Fig. 1 is a plan view showing an electric device 10 according to embodiment 1. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line II-II in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line III-III in Fig. 1. Fig. 4 is a partially enlarged plan view showing the electric device 10 with the case 60 removed.
[0024] The electrical device 10 is mounted on, for example, a vehicle. The electrical device is, for example, an ECU (electronic control unit). The vehicle may be provided with one central ECU and multiple zone ECUs. A zone ECU is provided for each of the multiple zones into which the vehicle is divided. The zone ECU mainly controls the devices present in that zone. The central ECU oversees the multiple zone ECUs to achieve collaborative control of the entire vehicle. The electrical device 10 may be, for example, a zone ECU. However, the electrical device 10, which is an ECU, may be a general ECU other than a zone ECU. Furthermore, the electrical device 10 does not have to be an ECU, and may be, for example, a junction block (also called an electrical connection box).
[0025] For example, a wire harness WH1 is connected to the electrical device 10. For example, the electrical device 10 is disposed in a space surrounded by an instrument panel, a dash panel, a cowl side panel, and a floor panel. The electrical device 10, which serves as a zone ECU disposed in the space, controls a plurality of devices connected to an engine room harness, an instrument panel harness, a door harness, and a floor harness. The electrical device 10 may be fixed to the cowl side panel, the dash panel, the instrument panel reinforcement, the floor panel, or the like.
[0026] The electrical device 10 includes a circuit board 20, a board terminal 30, a magnetic core 40, and wiring 50. The electrical device 10 also includes a case 60, an external connector 70, and a sheet 80.
[0027] The circuit board 20 includes a substrate body and a circuit pattern formed on the substrate body. The configurations of the substrate body and the circuit pattern are not particularly limited and can be set as appropriate. For example, the substrate body may be an insulating substrate, or a metal-based substrate with an insulating layer laminated thereon. The circuit pattern is formed using, for example, copper foil or the like. The circuit pattern may be formed on a single layer on one side of the substrate body, on two layers on both sides of the substrate body, or on three or more layers including the interior of the substrate body. The circuit board 20 may be a rigid substrate or a flexible substrate. Electronic components (not shown), such as electromagnetic relays, semiconductor switches, fuses, and integrated circuits (ICs), are mounted on the circuit board 20.
[0028] The board terminal 30 is mounted on the circuit board 20. The board terminal 30 is interposed between the circuit pattern of the circuit board 20 and the electric wires W of the wire harness WH1. The board terminal 30 is made of a metal such as copper or aluminum. The board terminal 30 extends, for example, in an L-shaped plate shape. One end of the board terminal 30 is connected to the circuit board 20 by soldering or the like. The one end of the board terminal 30 may be mounted in the circuit board 20 using a through-hole or may be mounted to a land on the circuit board 20. In this embodiment, the other end of the board terminal 30 is connected to the wiring 50. In this embodiment, a plurality of power supply terminals 30P and a plurality of signal terminals 30S are provided as the board terminals 30. The conductor cross-sectional area of the power supply terminal 30P is larger than the conductor cross-sectional area of the signal terminal 30S. The power supply terminal 30P is thicker than the signal terminal 30S.
[0029] The magnetic core 40 is attached to the power supply terminal 30P to reduce electromagnetic waves radiated from the power supply terminal 30P. The magnetic core 40 is provided on a power supply terminal 30P1, which is one of the multiple power supply terminals 30P. A power supply terminal 30P2, which is another one of the multiple power supply terminals 30P, does not have a magnetic core 40. The magnetic core 40 may be provided on all of the multiple power supply terminals 30P. Furthermore, the magnetic core 40 is not provided on all of the signal terminals 30S. Of the board terminals 30, the power supply terminal 30P1, which is provided with the magnetic core 40, is an example of a first board terminal, and the power supply terminal 30P2 and the signal terminal 30S, which are not provided with the magnetic core 40, are examples of a second board terminal. Hereinafter, they may be referred to as the first board terminal 30P1, the second board terminal 30P2, and the second board terminal 30S. The first substrate terminal 30P1 is a cored terminal with a magnetic core 40 attached, and the second substrate terminals 30P2 and 30S are coreless terminals without a magnetic core 40 attached.
[0030] The magnetic core 40 is a component molded into a block containing a magnetic material. The magnetic core 40 has a through hole. The power terminal 30P is inserted through the through hole. This causes the inner peripheral surface of the through hole in the magnetic core 40 to face the outer peripheral surface of the power terminal 30P. The magnetic core 40, which contains a magnetic material, absorbs electromagnetic waves radiated from the power terminal 30P, converting the energy of the electromagnetic waves into mechanical energy such as vibration or thermal energy. This reduces the adverse effects of the electromagnetic waves radiated from the power terminal 30P on surrounding devices, etc. The magnetic material of the magnetic core 40 is, for example, ferrite or silicon steel, and can be selected appropriately depending on the frequency band of the electromagnetic noise to be reduced. For example, the magnetic core 40 is formed into a cylindrical shape.
[0031] A core mounting portion on which the magnetic core 40 is mounted is provided at the middle portion of the power terminal 30P. A bent portion is also provided at the middle portion of the L-shaped power terminal 30P. In the example shown in FIG. 2 , the core mounting portion is provided between the bent portion and the other end of the L-shaped power terminal 30P. The inner surface of the through hole of the magnetic core 40 may or may not be in contact with the outer surface of the core mounting portion. The inner surface shape of the magnetic core 40 and the outer surface shape of the core mounting portion may be formed to be similar, and the entire inner surface of the magnetic core 40 may be in contact with the entire outer surface of the core mounting portion. The inner surface shape of the magnetic core 40 and the outer surface shape of the core mounting portion may be formed to be different shapes, and a portion of the inner surface of the magnetic core 40 may be in contact with a portion of the outer surface of the core mounting portion.
[0032] The distance between the power terminals 30P1 and 30P2 may be greater than the difference between the outer diameter (radius of the outer surface) and the inner diameter (radius of the inner surface) of the magnetic core 40. The magnetic core 40 attached to the power terminal 30P1 is not in contact with the power terminal 30P2. The distance between the signal terminals 30S may be less than the difference between the outer diameter and the inner diameter of the magnetic core 40.
[0033] In this embodiment, the number of wirings 50 provided corresponds to the number of board terminals 30. The wirings 50 include conductor cores 51 and insulating coatings 52 covering the conductor cores 51. The wirings 50 are coated electric wires. The conductor cores 51 are, for example, stranded wires formed by twisting multiple strands together. The conductor cores 51 may also consist of a single strand. One end of the wirings 50 is connected to the board terminals 30. The connection between the wirings 50 and the board terminals 30 is not particularly limited and can be set as appropriate. Here, the wirings 50 and the board terminals 30 are connected by welding, such as resistance welding or ultrasonic welding. For example, the other end of the board terminal 30 is formed in a plate shape, and multiple strands of the conductor core are spread out and welded onto the plate-shaped board terminal 30. The wirings 50 include multiple power lines 50P connected to the multiple power terminals 30P, respectively, and multiple signal lines 50S connected to the multiple signal terminals 30S, respectively. Of the multiple power supply lines 50P, the power supply line 50P1 connected to the power supply terminal 30P1 is an example of a first wiring connected to the first substrate terminal 30P1. Of the multiple power supply lines 50P, the power supply line 50P2 connected to the power supply terminal 30P2 and the signal line 50S are examples of second wiring connected to the second substrate terminals 30P2 and 30S. Hereinafter, these may be referred to as the first wiring 50P1 and the second wiring 50P2 and 50S.
[0034] The case 60 houses the circuit board 20. The case 60 is a box made of resin, metal, or the like. The circuit board 20 is fixed inside the case 60. The board terminals 30 and one end of the wiring 50 are located inside the case 60. The middle portion of the wiring 50 passes through the case 60. The other end of the wiring 50 is located outside the case 60. The case 60 is provided with a wiring penetration portion 63 and a clamping portion 64. The case 60 has, for example, an upper case 61 and a lower case 62. The upper case 61 and the lower case 62 overlap in the normal direction of the main surface of the circuit board 20. The overlapping of the upper case 61 and the lower case 62 forms the wiring penetration portion 63 and the clamping portion 64.
[0035] The wiring penetration portion 63 is a portion through which the wiring 50 penetrates. The wiring penetration portion 63 is provided in one side plate portion of the case 60. Multiple wiring penetration portions 63 may be provided so that multiple wirings 50 penetrate individually. Alternatively, one wiring penetration portion 63 may be provided so that multiple wirings 50 penetrate collectively. The wiring penetration portion 63 may be, for example, a portion formed by combining a semicircular groove formed in the edge of the upper case 61 and a semicircular groove formed in the edge of the lower case 62 to form a circular through-hole. The wiring penetration portion 63 may have a waterproof structure that can prevent water from entering the case 60 through the wiring penetration portion 63. As such a waterproof structure, for example, rubber stoppers may be provided between the edges of the upper case 61 and the lower case 62 and the outer surfaces of the wirings 50. The wiring penetration portion 63 does not necessarily have to be provided with a waterproof structure. In this case, the electrical device 10 is preferably positioned so that the side plate portion of the case 60 where the wiring penetration portion 63 is provided faces vertically downward or horizontally, rather than facing vertically upward.
[0036] The clamping portion 64 is a portion that clamps the connection portion between the wiring 50 and the board terminal 30. Here, the clamping portion 64 clamps the welded portion between the wiring 50 and the board terminal 30 from both the wiring 50 side and the board terminal 30 side. The upper case 61 contacts the welded portion from the wiring 50 side, and the lower case 62 contacts the welded portion from the board terminal 30 side. A protrusion may be provided on the inner surface of the case 60 as the clamping portion 64. If the welded portion is not insulated, the portion of the clamping portion 64 that contacts the welded portion should preferably be insulating. If the welded portion is insulated, the clamping portion 64 may be made of metal.
[0037] The external connector 70 is located outside the case 60. The other end of the wiring 50 is connected to the external connector 70. The external connector 70 includes a connector housing 71 and a plurality of external connection terminals 72. The connector housing 71 is made of insulating resin and holds the external connection terminals 72 in a predetermined arrangement. The number of external connection terminals 72 corresponds to the number of wirings 50. The other end of the wiring 50 is connected to the external connection terminals 72. The manner of connection between the external connection terminals 72 and the wiring 50 is not particularly limited and may be crimping, pressure welding, welding, or the like. For example, the connector housing 71 may have a cavity formed therein. When the external connection terminals 72 are connected to the other end of the wiring 50 to form a terminal-equipped electric wire, the end of the terminal-equipped electric wire may be inserted and held in the cavity. The external connector 70 is connected to a mating connector C1 provided at the end of the electric wire W of the wire harness WH1.
[0038] The sheet 80 is fixed to the intermediate portions of the wires 50 that extend outside the case 60. The sheet 80 keeps the wires 50 flat. The sheet 80 may be a resin sheet, a metal sheet, or a composite sheet of a metal sheet and a resin sheet. The manner in which the wires 50 and the sheet 80 are fixed to each other is not particularly limited and can be set as appropriate. For example, the wires 50 and the sheet 80 may be fixed by fusion. In this case, the resin contained in at least one of the coating of the wires 50 and the main surface of the sheet 80 melts and adheres to the surface of the mating component. Alternatively, the wires 50 and the sheet 80 may be attached by an adhesive or a sticky material. The wires 50 may be held on the sheet 80 in the same arrangement as the board terminals 30. This facilitates positioning the wires 50 and the board terminals 30 when welding the wires 50 and the board terminals 30.
[0039] The sheet 80 may be a sheet containing a fibrous material such as a nonwoven fabric. The sheet 80 may be a sheet having a solid cross section. The sheet 80 may have flexibility that allows it to follow the bending of the wiring 50. The position of the external connector 70 relative to the case 60 may be changeable by bending the wiring 50 and the sheet 80. The sheet 80 may be a rigid member, and the position of the external connector 70 relative to the case 60 may be constant.
[0040] However, the sheet 80 does not necessarily have to be provided in the electrical device 10. The plurality of wires 50 may be bound into a circular bundle by a binding member such as adhesive tape or a binding band.
[0041] The circuit board 20 is provided with a support plate 22. The support plate 22 may be made of rubber or hard resin. The support plate 22 may be insulating. The support plate 22 may be fixed to the main surface of the circuit board 20 with an adhesive or the like. The support plate 22 supports the middle portion of the board terminal 30. The support plate 22 supports the L-shaped board terminal 30 between the bent portion and the other end. In the power terminal 30P1, the magnetic core 40 is supported by the support plate 22. The support plate 22 has a first support portion sandwiched between the magnetic core 40 and the circuit board 20. The support plate 22 directly supports the power terminal 30P2 and the signal terminal 30S. The support plate 22 has a second support portion sandwiched between the power terminal 30P2 and the signal terminal 30S and the circuit board 20. The thickness of the first support portion of the support plate 22 is smaller than the thickness of the second support portion.
[0042] An insulating cover 24 is provided on the circuit board 20. The insulating cover 24 covers the middle portion of the board terminal 30 from the side opposite the support plate portion 22. The insulating cover 24 is spaced apart from the board terminal 30. The insulating cover 24 may be in contact with the board terminal 30. The insulating cover 24 is in contact with the magnetic core 40. The insulating cover 24 may be spaced apart from the magnetic core 40.
[0043] The direction parallel to the main surface of the circuit board 20 and perpendicular to the parallel arrangement of the board terminals 30 is defined as the extension direction of the other end of the board terminals 30. In the example shown in FIG. 1 , the horizontal direction of the paper surface is the parallel arrangement direction of the board terminals 30, and the vertical direction of the paper surface is the extension direction of the other end of the board terminals 30. The other end of the power terminal 30P and the other end of the signal terminal 30S are aligned with each other in the extension direction of the other end of the board terminals 30. This facilitates simultaneous welding of the power terminal 30P and the power line 50P, and the signal terminal 30S and the signal line 50S, using an automatic welding machine or the like. The signal terminal 30S may not be provided with a magnetic core 40 but may have the same length as the power terminal 30P, and one end of the power terminal 30P and one end of the signal terminal 30S may be aligned with each other along the extension direction of the other end of the board terminal 30. The signal terminal 30S is shorter in length than the power terminal 30P, and one end of the power terminal 30P and one end of the signal terminal 30S do not have to be aligned with each other along the extension direction of the other end of the board terminal 30.
[0044] [Embodiment 2] An electric device according to embodiment 2 will be described. Fig. 5 is a plan view showing electric device 110 according to embodiment 2. Fig. 6 is a partially enlarged plan view showing electric device 110 with case 160 removed. In the following description, components similar to those described so far are designated by the same reference numerals, and description thereof will be omitted.
[0045] In electric device 110, board connector 170 is provided instead of external connection connector 70. Board connector 170 penetrates from the inside to the outside of case 160 at one side plate portion of case 160. In addition to external connection connector 70, electric device 110 does not include some of the components provided for external connection connector 70 in electric device 10. For example, electric device 110 does not include second wiring 50P2, 50S, wiring penetration portion 63, clamping portion 64, sheet 80, etc.
[0046] The board connector 170 includes a power terminal 30P2, a signal terminal 30S, and a connector housing 171. In the example shown in Fig. 6, the board connector 170 includes an external connection terminal 172. When a mating connector C1 of the wire harness WH1 is connected to the board connector 170, the electric wires W of the wire harness WH1 are connected to a circuit within the electric device 110.
[0047] The connector housing 171 holds the power terminals 30P2, the signal terminals 30S, and the external connection terminals 172. A part of the connector housing 171 is covered by the case 160. Another part of the connector housing 171 opens to the outside of the case 60.
[0048] One end of the power supply terminal 30P2 and one end of the signal terminal 30S are electrically connected to the circuit pattern of the circuit board 20 inside the case 60. One end of the external connection terminal 172 is connected to the other end of the power supply line 50P1. The other ends of the power supply terminal 30P2, the signal terminal 30S, and the external connection terminal 172 are exposed at an opening in the connector housing 171 for connection to the mating connector C1. The power supply line 50P1 is located inside the case 60 and connects the power supply terminal 30P1 and the external connection terminal 172. In this embodiment, the power supply line 50P1 is a jumper wire.
[0049] <Modification of Embodiment 2> Fig. 7 is a plan view showing a modification of the electric device 110 according to Embodiment 2. Fig. 8 is a partially enlarged plan view showing the electric device 210 with the case 260 removed.
[0050] 7 is also provided with a board connector 170, similar to the electric device 110, and the second board terminals 30P2 and 30S function as connector terminals in the board connector 170. In the electric device 210, the external connection terminals 272 are not held by the board connector 170 and do not function as connector terminals in the board connector 170.
[0051] In the electrical device 210, an external connection connector 270 is provided in addition to the board connector 170. The external connection connector 270 has a connector housing 271 and an external connection terminal 72. The power supply line 50P1 connects the power supply terminal 30P1 and the external connection terminal 72. The external connection terminal 72 is located outside the connector housing 171, which is the board connector 170. In this example, the external connection terminal 72 is located outside the case 260. One end of the power supply line 50P1 is located inside the case 260. The other end of the power supply line 50P extends outside the case 260. The middle portion of the power supply line 50P passes through the case 260. The case 260 is provided with a wiring penetration portion 63 and a clamping portion 64 for the power supply line 50P1. In the electric device 210, the power supply line 50P2 and the signal line 50S are not provided, and the case 260 is not provided with the wiring penetration portion 63 and the clamping portion 64 for the power supply line 50P2 and the signal line 50S. Furthermore, the sheet 80 is not provided in the electric device 210. In the electric device 210, only one power supply line 50P1 extends outside the case 260. The circuit associated with the power supply terminal 30P2, which is not provided with the magnetic core 40, may also be configured to be held in the connector housing 271 via the power supply line 50P2, similar to the circuit associated with the power supply terminal 30P1.
[0052] The wire harness WH2 connected to the electrical device 210 includes a mating connector C2 in addition to the mating connector C1. The mating connector C1 is provided at the end of the electric wire W1 connected to the second board terminals 30P2, 30S, and the mating connector C2 is provided at the end of the electric wire W2 connected to the external connection terminal 272. The wire harness WH2 does not include an electric wire connected to the external connection terminal 172. The portion of the mating connector C1 corresponding to the external connection terminal 172 is empty.
[0053] The external connection terminals 172 in the board connector 170 may be provided as dummy terminals. The electrical circuits connected to the dummy terminals are electrical circuits that are not used in the vehicle. The dummy terminals are, for example, terminals that are not connected to the circuit pattern of the circuit board 20. Also, for example, the dummy terminals are terminals that are connected to circuits on the circuit board 20 that are not electrically used, or to circuits that are interrupted midway. Specifically, for example, the dummy terminals may be connected to lands in a circuit that only has lands, or to lands in a circuit that is interrupted midway. The external connection terminals 172 do not have to be provided in the board connector 170. The portion of the connector housing 171 that holds the external connection terminals 172 may be empty.
[0054] In electrical device 210, power line 50P1 does not have to extend outside case 260. Connector housing 271 may be held in case 260 separately from board connector 170. An opening for board connector 170 and an opening for external connection connector 270 may be provided separately on the outer surface of case 260.
[0055] <Effects, etc.> In the electric devices 10, 110, 210 configured as described above, providing the magnetic core 40 in the first board terminal 30P1 enables noise countermeasures to be implemented in the electric devices 10, 110, 210. Furthermore, providing the first wiring 50P1 in the first board terminal 30P1 allows the first board terminal 30P1 to be connected to an external connection partner via the first wiring 50P1. As a result, it becomes possible to add noise countermeasures to the electric devices 10, 110, 210 while minimizing design changes. In particular, any design changes to the circuit board 20 are limited to the portion surrounding the board terminal 30, and do not require major design changes.
[0056] Furthermore, in the electrical devices 10, 110, and 210, the magnetic core 40 is provided in the first board terminal 30P1 of the first board terminal 30P1 and the second board terminals 30P2 and 30S. This allows for necessary noise countermeasures to be implemented for some of the multiple board terminals 30.
[0057] Furthermore, in the electric device 10, one end of the first wiring 50P1 and one end of the second wirings 50P2, 50S are located inside the case 60, the other end of the first wiring 50P1 and the other ends of the second wirings 50P2, 50S extend outside the case 60, and the case 60 is provided with a wiring penetration portion 63 through which an intermediate portion of the first wiring 50P1 and an intermediate portion of the second wirings 50P2, 50S penetrate. This allows the external connection connector 70 to be provided outside the case 60. Furthermore, because the other end of the first wiring 50P1 and the other ends of the second wirings 50P2, 50S are connected to the external connection connector 70, the configuration of the connection port of the external connection connector 70 can be configured to correspond to the board connector 170, and there is no need to change the configuration of the connection partner, such as the wire harness WH1.
[0058] Furthermore, the electrical device 10 includes a sheet 80 that fixes the first wiring 50P1 and the second wiring 50P2, 50S and keeps the first wiring 50P1 and the second wiring 50P2, 50S flat. This allows the wiring portion outside the case 60 to be thin. The sheet 80 also allows the first wiring 50P1 and the second wiring 50P2, 50S to be maintained in an arrangement that corresponds to the arrangement of the board terminals 30.
[0059] Furthermore, in electrical device 10, case 60 includes clamping portions 64 that clamp the connection portion between first substrate terminal 30P1 and first wiring 50P1 and the connection portion between second substrate terminals 30P2, 30S and second wiring 50P2, 50S. This makes it possible to prevent rattling at the connection portion between first substrate terminal 30P1 and first wiring 50P1 and the connection portion between second substrate terminals 30P2, 30S and second wiring 50P2, 50S.
[0060] Furthermore, according to the electrical device 10, the electrical device 10 includes a support plate 22 that supports the intermediate portions of the first board terminal 30P1 and the intermediate portions of the second board terminals 30P2 and 30S, and the connection portions between the first board terminal 30P1 and the first wiring 50P1 and the connection portions between the second board terminals 30P2 and 30S and the second wiring 50P2 and 50S are welded portions. As a result, the intermediate portions of the board terminals 30 are supported by the support plate 22, and the posture of the board terminals 30 when they are welded to the wiring 50 is stabilized.
[0061] Furthermore, electrical devices 110 and 210 include connector housing 171 that holds second board terminals 30P2 and 30S, with a portion covered by case 160 and another portion opening to the outside of case 160 and 260. This allows the portion overlying second board terminals 30P2 and 30S, where no magnetic core 40 is provided, to be a board connector 170.
[0062] Furthermore, the electrical device 110 includes an external connection terminal 172 connected to an end of the first wiring 50P1 and held in a connector housing 171. This allows the external connection terminal 172 of the circuit related to the first board terminal 30P1 to be included in the board connector 170. In this case, it is not necessary to change the configuration of the board connector 170 other than the power supply terminal 30P1 and the configuration of the connected counterpart, such as the wire harness WH1.
[0063] Furthermore, electrical device 210 includes external connection terminal 72 that is connected to the other end of first wiring 50P1 and is located outside connector housing 171 that serves as board connector 170. This allows external connection terminal 72 of the circuit related to first board terminal 30P1 to be separated from board connector 170.
[0064] Furthermore, in the electric device 210, the first wiring 50P1 is a coated electric wire, one end of the first wiring 50P1 is located inside the case 260, and the other end of the first wiring 50P1 extends outside the case 260, and the case 260 is provided with a wiring penetration portion 63 through which an intermediate portion of the first wiring 50P1 penetrates. This allows the external connection terminal 272 to be connected to the wire harness WH2 as an external wiring outside the case 260.
[0065] Furthermore, with the electrical devices 10, 110, and 210, the external connector 70, 270 can be provided outside the case 60, 160, and 260, or a conventional board connector 170 can be reused, thereby eliminating the need to significantly change the size of the case 60, 160, and 260. This eliminates the need for significant design changes even when the vehicle has limited space for arranging the case 60, 160, and 260, particularly around the wiring penetration 63 or the board connector 170. For example, with the electrical devices 10 and 210, the external connector 70, 270 and the case 60, 260 are connected by wiring 50. A connector device in which the external connector 70, 270 and the mating connector C1, C2 are connected can be disposed in an empty space in the case 60, 260 away from the area around the wiring penetration 63. Furthermore, if the wiring 50 is flexible, the position of the external connector 70, 270 relative to the case 60, 260 can be adjusted.
[0066] [Additional Note] Although the above description has been given assuming that second board terminals 30P2 and 30S are provided, this is not a required configuration. Second board terminals 30P2 and 30S do not have to be provided. In other words, magnetic cores 40 may be provided for all board terminals 30.
[0067] The configurations described in the above embodiments and modifications can be combined as appropriate as long as they are not mutually contradictory.
