Furthermore, the illustration of a process by depiction in the drawings does not imply that the illustrated process excludes other variations and modifications thereof, nor does it imply that the illustrated process or any of its steps is essential to one or more of the various embodiments of the present disclosure, nor does it imply that the illustrated process is preferred.
[0051] FIG. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a method for providing product information according to various embodiments of the present disclosure.
[0052] According to one embodiment, a processor (220) may receive (310) a product search query from a terminal. The processor (220) may be one or more processors included in a server. The product search query may be a query generated based on a search term entered by a user on the terminal. The search term may be entered through a search window displayed on the terminal screen. An online shopping mall application may include various screens. For example, it may include an online shopping mall home screen, a search result product display screen, an account information display screen, a purchase log data display screen, etc. The types of screens described above are merely examples, and the present disclosure is not limited thereto. In addition, a search window may be displayed on each screen.
[0053] For example, referring to FIG. 4A, the screen (400) may be a purchase log data display screen. The purchase log data display screen may display a list of products purchased by an account. The purchase log data display screen may display a search window (410). When a user enters a search term in the search window (410), the terminal may generate a product search query based on the search term and transmit it to the server. The processor (220) included in the server may receive (310) the product search query.
[0054] For another example, the terminal may receive a search term from the user through a search box displayed on a screen other than the purchase log data display screen. For example, the terminal may receive the search term through a search box displayed on the home screen. The server may receive a product search query based on the search term and transmit product search result data to the terminal. The product search result data may include data related to a queried product corresponding to the product search query among the purchased products included in the purchase log data. Accordingly, the product search result screen may display at least some of the purchased products included in the purchase log data. For example, if the user selects a purchased product on the product search result screen, the product search result screen may switch to the purchase log data display screen. The purchase log data display screen may display (1) purchased products with the same product name as the queried product, (2) products belonging to the same product category as the queried product, or (3) purchased products excluding matching purchased products (e.g., products (1) and (2)). Referring to Fig. 4a, a search can be performed through a search box displayed on the home screen, and "A Milk" can be selected from the displayed product search results screen. Then, the terminal screen can be switched from the product search results screen to the purchase log data screen (400). The purchase log data screen (400) can display (1) purchased products (420) having the same product name as the queried product, (2) products (421, 422, 423) having different product names but the same product category of "Milk," and (3) products (424) among purchased products having different product names and different product categories.
[0055] In one embodiment, the processor (220) may determine the display order of products. By determining the display order, products that users are more likely to purchase may be displayed at the top of the screen, thereby guiding users to easily select and purchase products. As the display order is set higher, products with higher display orders among multiple products may be positioned on the left and / or top of the screen. For example, the processor (220) may set the display order in the following order: products with the same name as the query product, products with different names but the same product category, and products with different product categories. For example, the processor (220) may set the display order for products with the same name as the query product to be displayed higher than products with different names but the same product category. For example, a product (420) with the same product name as the query product may be displayed in the upper left corner, and products (421, 422, 423) with different product names but the same product category may be displayed subsequently. When two or more products are positioned at the same height on the screen, products positioned further to the left than to the right may receive a higher display priority. Furthermore, products positioned further down the screen may receive a lower display priority.
[0056] In one embodiment, the display ranking of a product may be determined based on the purchase date and product characteristics. The purchase date is included in the purchase log data and may be the date a specific product was purchased. For example, the purchase date may be the date payment for a specific product was completed. In one embodiment, the display ranking of a product may be set so that the more recent the purchase date, the higher the display ranking. Products purchased more recently may be more likely to be undesirable for the user. Conversely, products purchased recently and repurchased may be more likely to be consistently purchased by the user. Therefore, the processor (220) may set the display ranking so that the more recent the purchase date, the higher the display ranking.
[0057] Product characteristics may include at least one of the following: product-specific characteristics, brand, region, unit price, delivery type, or average delivery time. Product-specific characteristics stem from the inherent nature of the product. For example, a product-specific characteristic may include the expiration date for fresh produce. Another example could be the scent emanating from the product. A brand may be the name of the individual or organization that manufactures or sells the product. A region may include at least one of the following: the place of origin, the region where the product was processed, the region where the product was sold, or a designation indicating regional characteristics (e.g., a wine that is not made in the Bordeaux region but is made in the Bordeaux style, where the region is used in the product name to indicate regional characteristics). A unit price may be the price per unit that determines the price of a product. For example, the unit price of beef may be 10,000 won per 100g. A delivery type refers to the delivery method for a product. Examples include standard delivery, expedited delivery, fresh produce delivery, and international delivery. Expedited shipping can be a type of delivery that has a shorter average delivery time than Japanese shipping and can be completed within a guaranteed timeframe (e.g., one day). Fresh food delivery can be a type of delivery where products are packaged to maintain freshness for fresh food delivery. International shipping can be a type of delivery where products traded overseas are imported into Korea and delivered to customers. The average delivery time can be the average time it takes to deliver a specific product. For example, the processor (220) can determine the display ranking based on the user's preferred brand. There may be multiple brands that manufacture and sell "milk." A user may prefer milk brands in the following order: Brand A, Brand B, and Brand C. The processor (220) can determine user preferences based on the user preference data described below.Accordingly, if a user has a history of purchasing milk from Brand A, Brand B, and Brand C, and prefers products in the order of Brand A, Brand B, and Brand C milk, the processor (220) can generate product data that displays milk from Brand A, Brand B, and Brand C in the order of products purchased.
[0058] According to one embodiment, the processor (220) may determine (320) whether a query product corresponding to a product search query matches at least one purchased product. The purchased product may be a product included in purchase log data. The purchase log data may include information related to products purchased by the user. Through this, the processor (220) can identify the query product among the purchased products. For example, if the query product is "A Milk," the processor (220) can identify whether "A Milk" exists among the purchased products.
[0059] Hereinafter, a specific description of the operation of "determining whether there is a match" is described. According to one embodiment, the processor (220) may determine whether the product name of the queried product corresponding to the product search query is the same as the product name of at least one purchased product. For example, if the product name of the queried product corresponding to the product search query is "30 eggs from Brand A," the processor (220) may identify the purchased product whose product name is "30 eggs from Brand A" among the purchased products. According to another embodiment, the processor (220) may determine whether the product category of the queried product corresponding to the product search query is the same as the product category of at least one purchased product. For example, if the product category of the queried product corresponding to the product search query is "kitchen towel," the processor (220) may identify another purchased product whose product category is the same as "kitchen towel" even if the product name is different. By providing the user with purchase completion data not only when the product name is the same as the queried product but also when the product category is the same, the processor (220) can induce the user to make a quick purchase by providing another purchased product that the user is more likely to purchase even when the product name is the same as the queried product is out of stock.
[0060] According to one embodiment, the processor (220) may generate (330) first purchased product data corresponding to the purchased product matching the query product corresponding to the product search query when the query product corresponding to the product search query matches at least one purchased product (321). The first purchased product data may include information related to at least one purchased product matching the query product corresponding to the product search query. The processor (220) may transmit the first purchased product data to a terminal. The terminal may receive the first purchased product data and display at least one purchased product included in the first purchased product data on a screen. For example, referring to FIG. 4B, the query product corresponding to the product search query may be "A Milk." The product (430) may be a purchased product having the same product name as the query product corresponding to the product search query, "A Milk 2L." Product (431) may be a purchased product with the same product category as “Milk” as the query product “A Milk 2L” corresponding to the product search query, but with a different milk capacity and product name “A Milk 1L.”
[0061] In one embodiment, the processor (220) may determine (350) whether the order information for a matching purchased product includes other purchased products. Order information may be generated for each unit ordered by the user, and each order information may include at least one product. While shopping through an online commerce platform, the user may add the product to a list of products to be purchased (e.g., a shopping cart). Payment may be made based on the list of products to be purchased, and the processor (220) may generate order information through the payment. Multiple products included in a single order information may be products that the user is likely to purchase together. For example, if a user frequently orders cereal with milk, and searches for milk or adds milk to the list of products to be purchased, the user may be more likely to purchase cereal as well. Therefore, the processor (220) may enhance the user's purchasing convenience by providing the user with not only the product being queried, but also previously purchased products that the user has purchased together with the product being queried.
[0062] According to one embodiment, if the order information includes another purchased product (351), the processor (220) may generate second purchased product data corresponding to the other purchased product (360). The second purchased product data may include information related to other purchased products included in the same order information. The second purchased product data may include a display ranking of other purchased products that are highly related to the queried product. The processor (220) may determine the display ranking of other purchased products in order of the user's high likelihood of purchase. Referring to FIG. 4B, product (440) may be a product included in the second purchased product data. For example, in the past, a user may have ordered a cereal product (440) along with a milk product (430). In this case, both product (430) and product (440) may be included in a single order. The processor (220) can induce the user to purchase another purchased product (440) included in one order information by providing the user with both the product (430) corresponding to the inquired product and another purchased product (440) included in the order information.
[0063] According to one embodiment, the processor (220) may generate (370) second recommended product data corresponding to a second recommended product based on the query product if the order information does not include other purchased products (352). The case where the order information does not include other purchased products may be that the order information only contains purchased products that match the query product. In this case, the processor (220) may not be able to provide the user with other purchased products purchased together with the purchased products matching the query product. Therefore, the processor (220) may determine at least one second recommended product based on the query product. Furthermore, the processor (220) may generate second recommended product data corresponding to at least one second recommended product. The second recommended product may be a product that is likely to be purchased together with the query product. The processor (220) may derive a correlation between the query product and other purchased products included in the same order information based on purchase log data of other users. Based on the correlation, the processor (220) may determine a second recommended product that is likely to be purchased together with the query product. For example, users may tend to purchase shampoo and conditioner together. The processor (220) can identify this tendency based on purchase log data from other users. If the query product is "A shampoo," the processor (220) may determine the second recommended product as "B conditioner," "C conditioner," etc. By determining the second recommended product as a product likely to be purchased together with the query product, the processor (220) can encourage the user to purchase not only the query product but also other products likely to be purchased together with the query product.
[0064] Referring to FIG. 4c, screen (402) may be a screen for cases where the order information for a matching purchased product does not include other purchased products. Screen (402) may display a product (450) included in the first purchased product data, and below the product (450), a product (460) included in the second recommended product data may be displayed. For example, a product included in the first purchased product data may be milk, and other products likely to be purchased together with milk may be chocolate cookies and chocolate milk. If the query product is "milk," the processor (220) may determine the second recommended products as "chocolate cookies" and "chocolate milk" based on purchase log data from other users.
[0065] In another embodiment, the processor (220) may generate second recommended product data corresponding to the second recommended product based on the query product, regardless of the judgment result of operation (350). The processor may then transmit the second recommended product data to the terminal. In this case, the terminal screen may display at least one of the first purchased product data, the second purchased product data, and the second recommended product data.
[0066] In one embodiment, the processor (220) may generate first recommended product data (340) when the queried product and the purchased product do not match (322). The processor (220) may generate first recommended product data corresponding to the first recommended product based on at least one of the queried product, purchase log data, and user preference data. The first recommended product may be a product that matches or is related to the queried product and is likely to be purchased by the user if the queried product is not found among the purchased products. A user may mistakenly believe they have purchased a specific product through a specific online commerce platform and enter the product name of the specific product into the search bar. In this case, the specific product may not be found among the purchased products. In this case, no products may be displayed on the search results screen. Therefore, to purchase a desired product, the user may need to navigate to another screen through a selection input and undergo additional steps to search for the product. This process may discourage the user from purchasing, leading to decreased sales. Therefore, even if the product searched by the user is not among the products purchased, the user's purchasing desire can be increased by displaying other recommended products related to the product in question on the screen.
[0067] In one embodiment, the processor (220) may generate first recommended product data corresponding to a first recommended product based on the user's purchase log data. For example, the processor (220) may analyze the purchasing tendencies of a specific user A based on the user's purchase log data. For example, user A may have a purchasing tendency to purchase milk once a week. In another example, user A may have a purchasing tendency to purchase milk and cereal together. If the query product is milk, the processor (220) may determine the first recommended product as milk and / or cereal.
[0068] In one embodiment, the processor (220) may generate first recommended product data based on user preference data. The user preference data may include at least one of the user's brand preference, regional preference, unit price preference, delivery type preference, and average delivery time preference. The user preference data may be generated based on a specific user's purchase log data and / or survey data. The user's brand preference refers to a brand preferred by the specific user, and the processor (220) may preferentially recommend the user's preferred brand based on the user preference data. The regional preference refers to a region preferred by the user in relation to a specific product, and the processor (220) may preferentially recommend products corresponding to the user's preferred region for each product. For example, if user A prefers products from the Bordeaux region of France in relation to wine products, the processor (220) may preferentially recommend wine products from the Bordeaux region to user A. The unit price preference may refer to the user's preferred unit price for each product. For example, user A may have a preferred unit price of beef of 10,000 won per 100g and a preferred unit price of pork of 2,000 won per 100g. The processor (220) may preferentially recommend products corresponding to the unit prices preferred by user A. The delivery type preference may be related to the user's preferred delivery type. The average delivery time preference may be related to the user's preferred delivery time. For example, if the queried product is milk, milk may be a product for which brand preference is important. Based on the user preference data, the processor (220) may determine the display ranking in the order of brand A milk, brand B milk, and brand C milk preferred by the user, and determine the product as the first recommended product.
[0069] Referring to FIG. 5, if the queried product and the purchased product do not match on the screen (500), "No product search results" (520) may be displayed. "No product search results" (520) may be displayed or omitted. Furthermore, the screen (500) may display first recommended product data (530). For example, if the queried product is milk, the terminal may display Brand A milk (531), Brand B milk (532), Brand C milk (533), and Brand D milk (534) in that order based on the received first recommended product data.
[0070] According to one embodiment, the processor (220) may determine a first recommended product based on search log data and purchase log data of other users, and generate first recommended product data corresponding to the first recommended product. The search log data may be search records of products searched by other users. A product with a high number of searches may be a more popular product. Therefore, the more searches there are, the higher the probability that a specific user will purchase the product with a high number of searches. Accordingly, the processor (220) may determine a product with a search count above a certain threshold as the first recommended product based on the search log data. The processor (220) may generate a purchase count for a specific product based on purchase log data of other users. A product with a high number of purchases is a popular product among users, and thus, a specific user may be more likely to purchase the product with a high number of purchases. Accordingly, the processor (220) may determine a product with a purchase count above a certain threshold as the first recommended product based on the purchase log data. By determining a product with a high probability of purchase as the first recommended product, the processor (220) may increase the probability that a user will purchase the product.
