[0037] When we say that a component is "on" another component, this includes not only cases where the component is in contact with the other component, but also cases where there is another component between the two components.
[0038] Meanwhile, the terms "front-back direction", "front", "rear", "side direction", "left", "right", "vertical direction", "upper side", "lower side", etc. used in the following description are defined based on the drawings, and the shape and position of each component are not limited by these terms. For example, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the direction in which the user interface (600) faces in the range hood (10) can be defined as forward (+X direction), and the opposite direction can be defined as rearward (-X direction).
[0039] Hereinafter, embodiments according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0040] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating an example of the appearance of a cooking appliance according to one embodiment.
[0041] The cooking device (1) can be placed indoors. For example, the cooking device (1) can be placed in a kitchen.
[0042] A cooking appliance (1) may include a cooktop (20). The cooktop (20) may be configured to cook food. The cooktop (20) may be configured to heat food. For example, the cooktop (20) may be formed as an oven, a gas range, an induction range, or the like.
[0043] The cooking appliance (1) may include a range hood (10). The range hood (10) may be configured to suck up pollutants generated from a cooktop (20). The range hood (10) may discharge the sucked pollutants outdoors. Here, the pollutants may refer to harmful gases, combustion gases, fine dust, oil mist, heat, and / or odors generated during cooking.
[0044] For example, the range hood (10) may be provided as a standalone hood, a chimney-type hood, an island-type hood, a built-in hood, or a secret hood. However, the range hood (10) is not limited to the examples described above, and may be provided in various types as long as it can absorb pollutants generated during cooking.
[0045] For example, the range hood (10) may be configured to be combined with a cooking appliance unit (not shown) such as an over-the-range (OTR).
[0046] The range hood (10) can be positioned to correspond to the cooktop (20). The range hood (10) can be positioned above the cooktop (20). The range hood (10) can be installed spaced apart from the cooktop (20) in the vertical direction (Z direction). As a result, the range hood (10) can suck up contaminants moving upward from the cooktop (20).
[0047] Although the range hood (10) has been described as a component of the cooking appliance (1), the present disclosure is not limited thereto. The range hood (10) may also be defined as a component independent of the cooking appliance (1).
[0048] Fig. 1 merely illustrates an example of a range hood (10), and the range hood (10) can be installed in various ways depending on the size and characteristics of the installation location, the purpose of installation, etc.
[0049] Fig. 2 is a perspective view of a range hood according to one embodiment. Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a portion of a range hood according to one embodiment. Fig. 4 illustrates a portion of the range hood illustrated in Fig. 3 from another direction.
[0050] The range hood (10) may include a fan (310). The fan (310) may generate suction force. The fan (310) may be configured to rotate to circulate air. For example, the fan (310) may include a centrifugal fan. A centrifugal fan may draw in air in a direction parallel to its rotation axis and discharge it radially. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the fan (310) may be configured in various types to draw in air.
[0051] The range hood (10) may include a fan receiving portion (320). The fan (310) may be placed inside the fan receiving portion (320). The fan receiving portion (320) may be provided to be coupled to the upper portion of a case (110) to be described later and to cover the fan (310). The fan receiving portion (320) may be connected to an exhaust pipe (30) that communicates with the outdoors. The fan receiving portion (320) may guide air flowing in from the case (110) to the exhaust pipe (30). For example, the fan receiving portion (320) may be formed as an integral part of the exhaust pipe (30). For example, the fan receiving portion (320) may be formed as an integral part of the case (110). For example, the fan receiving portion (320) may be omitted, and the upper surface (111) of the case (110) may be formed to extend upward and cover the fan (310).
[0052] The range hood (10) may include a case (110). The case (110) may be placed on the cooktop (20) so as to face the cooktop (20).
[0053] For example, the case (110) may include an upper surface (111), a lower surface (112), a front surface (113), a rear surface (114), a right surface (115), and a left surface (116). For example, the case (110) may be provided as an assembly of plates forming each of the upper surface (111), the lower surface (112), the front surface (113), the rear surface (114), the right surface (115), and the left surface (116). For example, the plates may have various patterns, shapes, colors, etc., and may be provided so as to be replaceable by the user. For example, the case (110) may have an approximately box shape.
[0054] The case (110) may include an intake port (117, see FIG. 4). The intake port (117) may be configured to suck in air by the suction force of the fan (310). Air may be introduced into the case through the intake port (117). The intake port (117) may be formed on the lower surface (112) of the case (110).
[0055] The case (110) may be equipped with a filter (119) corresponding to the intake port (117). The filter (119) may be provided to filter foreign substances contained in the air sucked in through the intake port (117). For example, the filter (119) may be provided in a detachable configuration in the case (110).
[0056] The case (110) may include a communication port (118, see FIG. 3). The communication port (118) may be in communication with a fan receiving portion (320). Air drawn into the case (110) through the intake port (117) may be discharged to the outside of the case (110) through the communication portion (118). Air drawn out of the case (110) through the communication port (118) may be drawn into the fan (310). The communication port (118) may be formed on the upper surface (111) of the case (110).
[0057] The range hood (10) may provide a user interface (600) for interaction between the user and the range hood (10). The user interface (600) may be formed on a side of the range hood (10) that is easily accessible to the user. For example, the user interface (600) may be placed on the front (113) of the case (110). Although the drawing illustrates an example in which the user interface (600) is provided as a control panel, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the user interface (600) may be provided in various types.
[0058] The range hood (10) may include an opening (120). The opening (120) may be provided to correspond to a lighting device (200) to be described later. The opening (120) may be formed on the upper portion of the case (110). For example, the opening (120) may be formed by cutting off a portion of the upper surface (111) of the case (110).
[0059] The range hood (10) may include a top cover (130). The top cover (130) may be provided to cover the opening (120). For example, the top cover (130) may have a size corresponding to the size of the opening (120).
[0060] The top cover (130) may be provided to be coupleable to the case (110). As the top cover (130) is separated from the case (110), the top cover (130) may open the opening (120). As the top cover (130) is coupled to the case (110), the top cover (130) may cover the opening (120). For example, the top cover (130) may be coupled to the case (110) by being coupled to a support frame (140) to be described later. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the top cover (130) may also be directly coupled to the case (110).
[0061] For example, while the top cover (130) covers the opening (120), the upper surface of the top cover (130) and the upper surface (111) of the case (110) can be provided on the same plane. As a result, the case (110) and the top cover (130) can form an integrated aesthetic.
[0062] For example, the case (110), opening (120), and top cover (130) of the range hood (10) may be referred to as the body (100) of the range hood (10).
[0063] The range hood (10) may include at least one lighting device (200) (see FIG. 3). The lighting device (200) may be configured to generate light within the case (110). The lighting device (200) may emit light toward the cooktop (20). The lighting device (200) may emit light toward the front and / or rear of the case (110). A detailed description thereof will be provided below.
[0064] The lighting device (100) can be accommodated inside the case (110). The lighting device (200) can be provided in a detachable configuration with respect to the case (110).
[0065] For example, the lighting device (200) may extend along the extension direction of the case (110). For example, the lighting device (200) may extend approximately along the lateral direction (Y direction).
[0066] Meanwhile, although the drawing illustrates that the range hood (10) includes two lighting devices (200a) positioned at the front portion inside the case (110) and two lighting devices (200b) positioned at the rear portion inside the case (110) (i.e., the range hood (10) includes a total of four lighting devices (200)), the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the range hood (10) may include one lighting device (200) or may include five or more lighting devices (200).
[0067] The lighting device (200) may be referred to as a lighting assembly (200).
[0068] Fig. 5 is a perspective view of a lighting device according to one embodiment. Fig. 6 illustrates the lighting device illustrated in Fig. 5 from another direction. Fig. 7 is an exploded view of the lighting device illustrated in Fig. 6. Fig. 8 is a side cross-sectional view of a range hood according to one embodiment.
[0069] Referring to FIGS. 5 to 8, the lighting device (200) may include a first light source module (210), a second light source module (220), and a bracket (230). When the range hood (10) includes a plurality of lighting devices (200), each lighting device (200) may include a first light source module (210), a second light source module (220), and a bracket (230).
[0070] The lighting device (200) may include a first light source module (210) configured to emit light in a first direction (D1, see FIG. 8). For example, the first direction (D1) may be a direction toward the cooktop (20). For example, the first direction (D1) may be downward (-Z direction).
[0071] Light (L1) emitted from the first light source module (210) (hereinafter, for convenience of explanation, may also be referred to as the first light) can illuminate the cooktop (20). The first light source module (210) can emit the first light (L1) to illuminate the cooktop (20). As a result, the cooktop (20) may not be darkened by the shadow of the range hood (10) placed above the cooktop (20). Cooking on the cooktop (20) may proceed smoothly.
[0072] For example, the first light source module (210) can emit light to approximately correspond to the width of the cooktop (20). For example, the first light source module (210) can extend approximately along the lateral direction (Y direction).
[0073] The first light source module (210) may include a first substrate (211) and a first light source (212) mounted on the first substrate (211). For example, a plurality of first light sources (212) may be provided, and the plurality of first light sources (212) may be arranged in a row on the first substrate (211). For example, the first substrate (211) may include a printed circuit board (PCB). For example, the first light source (212) may include an LED. However, the present disclosure is not limited to the above-described examples, and the first light source module (210) may be provided as various types of light source modules as long as it can emit light.
[0074] The first light source module (210) may be referred to as a first light source unit (210), a first light source device (210), a first light source member (210), a first light source section (210), etc.
[0075] The lighting device (200) may include a second light source module (220) configured to emit light in a second direction (D2, see FIG. 8). The second direction (D2) may be a different direction from the first direction (D1). For example, the second direction (D2) may be a direction intersecting the first direction (D1). In the drawing, the second direction (D2) is illustrated as being forward (+X direction), but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the second direction (D2) may be forward (+X direction) or rearward (-X direction).
[0076] For example, the second light source module (220) of at least one lighting device (200a, see FIG. 3) disposed in the front portion inside the case (110) can emit light forward. For example, the second light source module (220) of at least one lighting device (200b, see FIG. 3) disposed in the rear portion inside the case (110) can emit light rearward.
[0077] The light (L2) emitted from the second light source module (220) (hereinafter, for convenience of explanation, may also be referred to as the second light) may be arranged to decorate at least a part of the exterior of the range hood (10). The second light source module (220) may emit the second light (L2) so that at least a part of the main body (100) of the range hood (10) shines. As a result, the exterior of the range hood (10) may be made more attractive. The second light (L2) of the second light source module (220) may be used to create an atmosphere of an indoor space in which the range hood (10) is installed. In addition, as will be described later, the second light (L2) of the second light source module (220) may be used to indicate the operating status, information, etc. of the range hood (10).
[0078] The second light source module (220) may be arranged to emit light along at least one edge of the case (110). For example, the second light source module (220) may be arranged to emit light along a lower edge of the front side (113) of the case (110). For example, the second light source module (220) may be arranged to emit light along a lower edge of the rear side (114) of the case (110). For example, the second light source module (220) may extend approximately along a lateral direction (Y direction). For example, a transparent member (170) to be described later may be arranged along at least one edge of the case (110), and light (L2) emitted from the second light source module (220) arranged inside the case (110) may transmit through the transparent member (170). Accordingly, light (L2) emitted from the second light source module (220) inside the case (110) can be irradiated toward the outside of the case (110) along at least one edge of the case (110).
[0079] The second light source module (220) may include a second substrate (221) and a second light source (222) mounted on the second substrate (221). For example, a plurality of second light sources (222) may be provided, and the plurality of second light sources (222) may be arranged in a row on the second substrate (221). For example, the second substrate (221) may include a printed circuit board (PCB). For example, the second light source (222) may include an LED. However, the present disclosure is not limited to the above-described examples, and the second light source module (220) may be provided as various types of light source modules as long as it can emit light.
[0080] The second light source module (220) may be referred to as a second light source unit (220), a second light source device (220), a second light source member (220), a second light source section (220), etc.
[0081] Meanwhile, the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) can operate independently. The control unit (400, see FIG. 12) of the range hood (10) can individually control each of the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220). A detailed description thereof will be provided later.
[0082] The lighting device (200) may include a bracket (230) on which a first light source module (210) and a second light source module (220) are mounted. The bracket (230) may be provided so as to be accommodated within the case (110). The first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) may be provided as a single assembly through the bracket (230).
[0083] For example, the bracket (230) may include a first panel (231) on which a first light source module (210) is mounted and a second panel (232) on which a second light source module (220) is mounted. For example, the second panel (232) may be formed by being bent from the first panel (231). For example, the first panel (231) and the second panel (232) may be arranged vertically. For example, the first panel (231) may extend approximately along the lateral direction (Y direction) to correspond with the first light source module (210). For example, the second panel (232) may extend approximately along the lateral direction (Y direction) to correspond with the second light source module (220).
[0084] For example, the bracket (230) may include a metal material. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the bracket (230) may have a material with a predetermined rigidity and low deformation to support both the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220).
[0085] The lighting device (200) may include a first holder (241) provided to mount the first light source module (210) on the bracket (230). The first holder (241) may fix the first light source module (210) to the bracket (230). For example, the first light source module (210) may be coupled to the first holder (241) and the bracket (230) with a screw (not shown). However, the present disclosure is not limited to the above-described example, and the first light source module (210) may also be coupled to the first holder (241) and the bracket (230) without a separate fastening member. For example, the first holder (240) may fix the first light source module (210) to the bracket (230) in the shape of the first holder (240) (e.g., a hook, a clip, etc.).
[0086] For example, the first holder (241) may be arranged to correspond to the first panel (231) of the bracket (230). For example, the first holder (241) may extend approximately along the lateral direction (Y direction).
[0087] The first holder (241) may include an insulating material. As a result, the first holder (241) can ensure the electrical stability of the first light source module (210). The first holder (241) can prevent an electrical short of the first substrate (211). The first light source module (210) can stably emit light and have a uniform brightness.
[0088] The lighting device (200) may include a second holder (242) provided to mount the second light source module (220) on the bracket (230). The second holder (242) may fix the second light source module (220) to the bracket (230). For example, the second light source module (220) may be screw-coupled (not shown) to the second holder (242) and the bracket (230). However, the present disclosure is not limited to the above-described example, and the second light source module (220) may be coupled to the second holder (242) and the bracket (230) without a separate fastening member. For example, the first holder (240) may fix the second light source module (220) to the bracket (230) in the shape of the first holder (240) (e.g., a hook, a clip, etc.).
[0089] For example, the second holder (242) may be arranged to correspond to the second panel (232) of the bracket (230). For example, the second holder (242) may extend approximately along the lateral direction (Y direction).
[0090] The second holder (242) may include an insulating material. As a result, the second holder (242) can ensure the electrical stability of the second light source module (220). The second holder (242) can prevent an electrical short of the second substrate (221). The second light source module (220) can stably emit light and have a uniform brightness.
[0091] The range hood (10) may include a support frame (140). The support frame (140) may be disposed inside the case (110). The support frame (140) may be configured to support and / or secure at least one component disposed inside the case (110). For example, the support frame (140) may be configured to be secured to at least a portion of the case (110).
[0092] The support frame (140) may be provided to support the bracket (230) of the lighting device (200). The bracket (230) may be stably supported by the support frame (140) and may not be displaced from its original position inside the case (110). For example, the support portion (231a) of the first panel (231) may be supported by the protrusion (141) of the support frame (140) inside the case (110). For example, the support portion (231a) and the protrusion (141) may be provided to be in surface contact.
[0093] The support frame (140) may be provided to secure the user interface (600) to the case (110). For example, the support frame (140) may couple the user interface (600) to the front (113) of the case (110).
[0094] Although the support frame (140) has been described as being a separate component from the case (110), the present disclosure is not limited thereto. The support frame (140) may be provided as a component of the case (110). The support frame (140) may also be provided as an integral part of the case (110).
[0095] The range hood (10) may include a fixer (150). The fixer (150) may be provided to fix the top cover (130) to the case (110). The top cover (130) may be fixed to the case (110) by being fixed to the fixer (150) disposed inside the case (110). The fixer (150) may be provided to fix the top cover (130) to the support frame (140).
[0096] The range hood (10) may include a partition (160). The partition (160) may be provided to partition the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) within the case (110). The partition (160) may prevent interference between the light (L1) emitted from the first light source module (210) and the light (L2) emitted from the second light source module (220). Accordingly, the first light (L1) and the second light (L2) may be provided so as not to affect each other. In other words, the first light (L1) and the second light (L2) may not collide with each other.
[0097] For example, the partition (160) may include a material for reflecting (or scattering) the light (L1) emitted from the first light source module (210) and the light (L2) emitted from the second light source module (220). For example, the partition (160) may include an aluminum material. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the partition (160) may of course include various materials for preventing the first light (L1) and the second light (L2) from mixing.
[0098] In the drawing, the partition (160) is illustrated as including a first partition member (161) and a second partition member (162), but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the partition (160) may be formed of a single partition member or may include three or more partition members.
[0099] For example, the wavelength range of light emitted from the first light source module (210) and the wavelength range of light emitted from the second light source module (220) may be set differently, and the partition (160) may be omitted.
[0100] The range hood (10) may include a transparent member (170). The transparent member (170) may be coupled to the case (110) so as to face the cooktop (20). For example, the transparent member (170) may be coupled to the lower surface (112) of the case (110).
[0101] The transparent member (170) may be arranged to transmit light (L1) emitted from the first light source module (210) and light (L2) emitted from the second light source module (220). Accordingly, the first light (L1) and the second light (L2) generated inside the case (110) may pass through the transparent member (170) and be irradiated to the outside of the case (110).
[0102] The transparent member (170) may be provided to protect the lighting device (200). The transparent member (170) may be provided to protect the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220). For example, the transparent member (170) may protect the lighting device (200) disposed inside the case (110) from impact applied from outside the case (110). For example, the transparent member (170) may protect the lighting device (200) disposed inside the case (110) from dust, moisture, heat, etc., from outside the case (110).
[0103] The transparent member (170) may have a shape extending along a third direction intersecting the first direction (D1) and the second direction (D2). For example, the transparent member (170) may extend approximately along the lateral direction (Y direction).
[0104] The transparent member (170) may include a first incident surface (171) onto which light (L1) emitted from the first light source module (210) is incident. The first incident surface (171) may be arranged to face at least a portion of the first light source module (210). For example, the first incident surface (171) may be the upper surface of the transparent member (170).
[0105] The transparent member (170) may include a first exit surface (172). The first exit surface (172) may be provided on the opposite side of the first incident surface (171). Light incident on the first incident surface (171) may be emitted through the first exit surface (172). For example, the first exit surface (172) may extend parallel to the first incident surface (171). For example, the first exit surface (172) may be exposed to the outside of the case (110) toward the cooktop (20). For example, the first exit surface (172) may be the lower surface of the transparent member (170).
[0106] The transparent member (170) may include a second incident surface (173) onto which light (L2) emitted from the second light source module (220) is incident. The second incident surface (173) may be provided to connect the first incident surface (171) and the first emission surface (172). For example, the second incident surface (173) may be arranged to face at least a portion of the second light source module (220). For example, the second incident surface (173) may be a surface of the transparent member (170) facing the inside of the range hood (10) in the front-back direction (X direction).
[0107] The transparent member (170) may include a second exit surface (174). The second exit surface (174) may be provided on the opposite side of the second incident surface (173). Light incident on the second incident surface (173) may be emitted through the second exit surface (174). The second exit surface (174) may be provided to connect the first incident surface (171) and the first exit surface (172). For example, the second exit surface (174) may be a surface of the transparent member (170) facing the outside of the range hood (10) in the front-back direction (X direction). For example, the second exit surface (174) may be exposed to the outside of the case (110). For example, the second exit surface (174) may be arranged on the same plane as the front surface (113) of the case (110), or may protrude from the front surface (113) of the case (110).
[0108] The brightness of the light emitted from the first light source module (210) and passing through the transparent member (170) may be different from the brightness of the light emitted from the second light source module (220) and passing through the transparent member (170). That is, the brightness of the light emitted from the first exit surface (172) and the brightness of the light emitted from the second exit surface (174) may be different. For example, the transparency of the first incident surface (171) may be different from the transparency of the second incident surface (173). For example, the transparency of the first exit surface (172) may be different from the transparency of the second exit surface (174). For example, the roughness of the first incident surface (171) may be different from the roughness of the second incident surface (173). For example, the roughness of the first exit surface (172) may be different from the roughness of the second exit surface (174). For example, at least one of the second incident surface (173) or the second exit surface (174) may be textured. As a result, the light emitted from the second light source module (220) and passing through the transparent member (170) may be softer than the light emitted from the first light source module (210) and passing through the transparent member (170).
[0109] For example, the transparent member (170) may include glass. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the transparent member (170) may include various materials for transmitting light. In addition, the transparent member (170) may also include materials subjected to various optical treatments.
[0110] The range hood (10) may include a diffuser plate (180). The diffuser plate (180) may diffuse light (L1) emitted from the first light source module (210). The diffuser plate (180) may be disposed between the first light source module (210) and the transparent member (170). For example, the diffuser plate (180) may be disposed on the first incident surface (171) of the transparent member (170).
[0111] The diffuser (180) may be provided to prevent the first light source module (210) from being visible to the outside through the transparent member (170). For example, the diffuser (180) may include a translucent material and / or an opaque material.
[0112] Although not shown in the drawing, the range hood (10) may include a diffuser plate capable of diffusing light (L2) emitted from the second light source module (220).
[0113] Meanwhile, in FIG. 8, the first light source module (210) is arranged to face the lower side (-Z direction) of the case (110) and the second light source module (220) is arranged to face the front side (+X direction) of the case (110), but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the second light source module (220) may be arranged to face the side side (-Y direction and / or +Y direction) of the case (110). For example, the second light source module (220) may be arranged to face the right side (115) and / or the left side (116) of the case (110). For example, the second light source module (220) may be arranged to face the rear side (-X direction) of the case (110). For example, the second light source modules (220) may be provided in multiple numbers, and some of the plurality of second light source modules (220) may be arranged to face the front of the case (110), and the remaining second light source modules (220) may be arranged to face the rear of the case (110). For example, both the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) may be arranged to face the lower side of the case (110), and the light emitted from the second light source module (220) may be guided by a separate guide member (not shown) and irradiated toward the front of the case (110) and / or the rear of the case (110). That is, the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) may be arranged in various ways.
[0114] Fig. 9 illustrates an example of a state in which the top cover is separated from the case. Fig. 10 illustrates an enlarged portion of Fig. 9. Fig. 11 illustrates an example of a state in which the lighting device is separated from the case.
[0115] Referring to FIGS. 9 to 11, the top cover (130) can be detachably coupled to the case (110). While the top cover (130) is coupled to the case (110), the opening (120) can be covered by the top cover (130). While the top cover (130) is detached from the case (110), the opening (120) can be opened.
[0116] For example, the top cover (130) can be detachably coupled to a support frame (140) fixed inside the case (110) via a fixer (150). Thus, the top cover (130) can be provided to be coupled to the case (110) or detached from the case (110). The fixer (150) can include a fixer hole (153), and the top cover (130) can include a cover hole (131) corresponding to the fixer hole (153). The fastening member (F) can be fastened to the cover hole (131) and the fixer hole (153) of the top cover (130).
[0117] For example, the fixer (150) may include a first body portion (151) and a second body portion (152) extending from the first body portion (151). Each of the first body portion (151) and the second body portion (152) may be provided to contact one surface of the support frame (140) and the other surface of the support frame (140). A fixer hole (143) may be formed in the first body portion (151). The fixer (150) may be provided to support different surfaces of the support frame (140). As a result, the fixing force between the top cover (130) and the support frame (140) coupled through the fixer (150) may be increased.
[0118] However, the present disclosure is not limited to the examples described above, and the top cover (130) may be detachably coupled to the case (110) through various known methods. For example, the top cover (130) may be detachably coupled to the case (110) without a fixer or fastener.
[0119] In the drawing, the top cover (130) is shown as being separated from the case (110) by moving upward (in the +Z direction), but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. The top cover (130) can be separated from the case (110) in various directions. For example, the top cover (130) can be separated from the case (110) by sliding along the lateral direction (Y direction) with respect to the case (110). For example, the top cover (130) can be separated from the case (110) by sliding along the front-back direction (X direction) with respect to the case (110).
[0120] As the top cover (130) is separated from the case (110), the opening (120) can be opened. As the opening (120) is opened, the lighting device (200) positioned inside the case (110) can be exposed to the outside of the case (110) through the opening (120). The lighting device (200) can be exposed to the upper outer side of the case (110) through the opening (120).
[0121] While the top cover (130) is separated from the case (110), the lighting device (200) placed inside the case (110) can be made accessible through the opening (120).
[0122] While the top cover (130) is separated from the case (110), the lighting device (200) can be provided to be withdrawn from and introduced into the case (110) through the opening (120). While the top cover (130) is separated from the case (110), the lighting device (200) can be provided to be withdrawn from and introduced into the case (110) through the opening (120), with the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) mounted on the bracket (230). The lighting device (200) can be withdrawn from or introduced into a space (S) formed inside the case (110).
[0123] Typically, when the first and second light source modules are provided as separate modules in a range hood, the first and second light source modules must be disassembled separately. This requires disassembling the entire (or most) exterior of the range hood, or disassembling the structures / components positioned between the first and second light source modules. In other words, the first and second light source modules cannot be disassembled at once. Similarly, the first and second light source modules cannot be assembled at once. Consequently, maintenance of the first and second light source modules may be difficult.
[0124] In contrast, according to the present disclosure, the lighting device (200) may be provided as a single assembly of a first light source module (210) and a second light source module (220). The first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) may each be mounted on a bracket (230). Accordingly, the lighting device (200) may be disassembled from the case (110) or assembled to the case (110) while the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) are mounted on the bracket (230). That is, the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) of the lighting device (200) may be disassembled and / or assembled at once. A user or the like may separate the top cover (130) from the case (110) and then access the lighting device (200) through the opening (120) to service the lighting device (200). Maintenance of the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) can be facilitated. In addition, since an opening (120) is formed at the upper portion of the case (110), it is easy to secure a field of vision for the user, etc., and parts of the range hood (10) can be prevented from falling.
[0125] Fig. 12 is a control block diagram of a range hood according to one embodiment. Fig. 13 is a flowchart illustrating an example of a method for controlling a range hood according to one embodiment. Fig. 14 is a flowchart illustrating an example of a method for controlling a range hood according to one embodiment. Fig. 15 is a flowchart illustrating an example of a method for controlling a range hood according to one embodiment.
[0126] Referring to FIG. 12, the range hood (10) may include a first light source module (210) and a second light source module (220). The range hood (10) may include a user interface (600). The range hood (10) may include a sensor (500). The range hood (10) may include a communication unit (700). The range hood (10) may include a control unit (400). However, each of the components of the range hood (10) illustrated in FIG. 12 may be omitted depending on the embodiment, and components not illustrated in FIG. 12 may also be included depending on the embodiment.
[0127] The range hood (10) may include a user interface (600) for interaction between a user and the range hood (10). The user interface (600) may include at least one input unit (610) and at least one output unit (17). The at least one input unit (610) may convert sensory information received from the user into an electrical signal. For example, the at least one input unit (610) may include a button, a switch, a touch pad (touch screen), a dial, and / or a microphone. The at least one output unit (17) may transmit various data related to the operation of the range hood (10) to the user by generating sensory information. For example, the at least one output unit (17) may include a display, a speaker, etc.
[0128] The range hood (10) may include a sensor (500) configured to detect air quality. The sensor (500) may detect the air quality of the surrounding environment of the range hood (10). That is, the sensor (500) may measure information about indoor air. For example, the sensor (500) may detect pollutants (e.g., fine dust) contained in the indoor air. The range hood (10) may manage indoor air using the values measured by the sensor (500). For example, the range hood (10) may be configured to operate even when not cooking, thereby sucking in pollutants contained in the indoor air. However, unlike the above, the sensor (500) may also measure air flowing into the range hood (10). In addition, the present disclosure is not limited to the above-described examples, and the sensor (500) may be configured to detect various information (e.g., temperature, humidity, etc.) of the surrounding environment and / or the range hood (10). The range hood (10) can control the lighting device (200) based on information detected by the sensor (500). A detailed description of this will be provided later.
[0129] The range hood (10) may include a communication unit (700) for wired and / or wireless communication with an external device (e.g., a server, a user device, etc.). The communication unit (700) may include at least one communication module. The communication unit (700) may transmit data to or receive data from an external device.
[0130] The range hood (10) may include a control unit (400) that can control various configurations of the range hood (10). The control unit (400) may control the lighting device (200). The control unit (400) may individually control the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220). The control unit (400) may control the on / off, light brightness, light color, etc. of the first light source module (210). The control unit (400) may control the on / off, light brightness, light color, etc. of the second light source module (220). In addition, when the range hood (10) includes a plurality of lighting devices (200), the control unit (400) may independently control each of the plurality of lighting devices (200).
[0131] The control unit (400) may include hardware such as a CPU or memory, and software such as a control program. For example, the control unit (400) may include at least one memory (420) that stores algorithms for controlling the operation of various components of the range hood (10), data in the form of programs, and at least one processor (410) that performs the aforementioned operations using data stored in the at least one memory. The memory (420) and the processor (410) may each be implemented as separate chips. The processor (410) may include one or more processor chips or one or more processing cores. The memory (420) may include one or more memory chips or one or more memory blocks. In addition, the memory (420) and the processor (410) may be implemented as a single chip.
[0132] A range hood (10) may include a first light source module (210) and a second light source module (220). The first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) may operate independently. The operation of the first light source module (210) and the operation of the second light source module (220) may not affect each other.
[0133] In related technology, a range hood can radiate light from a single light source module in various directions. However, the light emitted from the range hood in one direction and the light emitted in different directions correspond to the same light emitted from the single light source module, and thus cannot be controlled differently. For example, all light emitted from the range hood has the same brightness and color.
[0134] In contrast, according to the present disclosure, the control unit (400) can independently control each of the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220). The light of the first light source module (210) and the light of the second light source module (220) can be set in various ways. Accordingly, the light for illuminating the cooktop (20) and the light for decorating the exterior of the range hood (10) can be set differently. However, it goes without saying that the light for illuminating the cooktop (20) and the light for decorating the exterior of the range hood (10) can be set identically.
[0135] Referring to FIG. 13, the range hood (10) can receive a user input (1100). The range hood (10) can receive the user input through the input unit (610) of the user interface (600). For example, the user input can include information about the first light source module (210) and / or information about the second light source module (220). For example, the user input can include information about the on / off, light brightness, and light color of the first light source module (210). For example, the user input can include information about the on / off, light brightness, and light color of the second light source module (220).
[0136] The range hood (10) can control the first light source module (210) and / or the second light source module (220) based on the received user input (1200). The control unit (400) can control the first light source module (210) and / or the second light source module (220) in response to the user input received through the input unit (610) of the user interface (600). For example, the control unit (400) can control the current supplied to the first light source module (210) and / or the current supplied to the second light source module (220).
[0137] Referring to FIG. 14, the range hood (10) can detect air quality (2100) via a sensor (500). For example, the sensor (500) can output a signal corresponding to the concentration of pollutants contained in the air and transmit the output signal to the control unit (400).
[0138] The range hood (10) can control the second light source module (220) based on information detected by the sensor (500) (2200). The control unit (400) can control the second light source module (200) to emit light corresponding to information detected by the sensor (500). The control unit (400) can control the second light source module (200) to emit light corresponding to a measurement value of the sensor (500).
[0139] The second light source module (220) can decorate at least a portion of the exterior of the range hood (10), so that the user can easily recognize the light emitted from the second light source module (220). Accordingly, the user can easily recognize the air quality condition through the light emitted from the second light source module (220). The user can identify the concentration of pollutants contained in the air through the light emitted from the second light source module (220). For example, the brightness, color, etc. of the light emitted from the second light source module (220) can vary in response to information detected by the sensor (500).
[0140] Meanwhile, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, the control unit (400) of the range hood (10) may control the user interface (600) based on information detected by the sensor (500). The information detected by the sensor (500) may be output in various ways through the output unit (620) of the user interface (600). For example, the information detected by the sensor (500) may be displayed by a screen, indicator, voice, etc.
[0141] Referring to FIG. 15, the second light source module (220) can emit light having a first color (3100). For example, the first color can be set in various ways based on user input.
[0142] If the measurement value of the sensor (500) is not greater than a preset value (NO of 3200), the light emitted from the second light source module (200) may be maintained at the first color. That is, the color of the light emitted from the second light source module (200) may not change.
[0143] If the measurement value of the sensor (500) is greater than or equal to a preset value (example of 3200), the second light source module (200) can emit light having a second color (3300). The second color can be a different color that is distinct from the first color. For example, the second color can be set in various ways based on user input. For example, the control unit (400) can control the second light source module (220) to emit light having a color corresponding to information detected by the sensor (500). For example, the control unit (400) can adjust the color of the light emitted from the second light source module (220) by adjusting the current supplied to the second light source module (220). The user can recognize that the air quality has deteriorated by confirming that the light emitted from the second light source module (220) changes from the first color to the second color.
[0144] In summary, when the sensor (500) detects air containing pollutants exceeding a preset concentration, the sensor (500) can output a signal corresponding to the detected signal. The control unit (400) can receive the signal output from the sensor (500) and control the color of light emitted from the second light source module (200).
[0145] Meanwhile, the present disclosure is not limited to that illustrated in FIG. 15. For example, a plurality of preset ranges for the concentration of pollutants may be predetermined, and the second light source module (220) may be configured to emit light having a color corresponding to each of the plurality of preset ranges. For example, the second light source module (220) may emit light having a first color (e.g., blue) corresponding to a first preset range, light having a second color (e.g., green) corresponding to a second preset range, light having a third color (e.g., orange) corresponding to a third preset range, or light having a fourth color (e.g., red) corresponding to a fourth preset range. For example, the first preset range may correspond to good air quality, the second preset range may correspond to normal air quality, the third preset range may correspond to poor air quality, and the fourth preset range may correspond to very poor air quality. However, the present disclosure is not limited to the examples described above, and at least one setting range for the concentration of the pollutant can be set in various ways, and the second light source module (220) can emit light having various colors.
[0146] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a range hood (10) configured to suck up pollutants generated from a cooktop (20) may include: a fan (310); a case (110) including an intake port (117) for sucking up air by the suction force of the fan; and a lighting device (200) for generating light inside the case. The lighting device (200) may include: a first light source module (210) configured to emit light (L1) in a first direction (D1) toward the cooktop; a second light source module (220) configured to emit light (L2) in a second direction (D2) different from the first direction; and a bracket (230) accommodated inside the case and configured to mount the first light source module and the second light source module.
[0147] The above range hood (10) may include an opening (120) formed in the upper portion of the case to correspond to the lighting device (200). The above range hood (10) may include a top cover (130) that is provided to cover the opening and be coupleable to the case.
[0148] While the top cover (130) is separated from the case (110), the lighting device (200) can be provided so that it can be withdrawn from the case (110) and introduced into the case (110) through the opening (120) while the first light source module (210) and the second light source module (220) are mounted on the bracket (230).
[0149] The lighting device (200) may include a first holder (241) provided to mount the first light source module (210) on the bracket (230). The lighting device (200) may include a second holder (242) provided to mount the second light source module (220) on the bracket (230).
[0150] The above range hood (10) may include a support frame (140) arranged inside the case to support the bracket of the lighting device. The above range hood (10) may include a fixer (150) arranged to fix the top cover to the support frame.
