Abstract
Description
[0001] PIPE FOR MULTI-SUPPORT IRRIGATION MACHINE PIPELINE SECTION
[0002] The utility model relates to special-purpose pipes and can be used in the design of a pipeline section of a multi-support mobile irrigation machine.
[0003] In a sprinkler machine, self-propelled support carts are used to support the water supply pipeline with sprinklers and ensure its movement across the irrigated area. Movement is carried out by means of wheels mounted on the cart frame, on which the wheel drive, water supply pipeline and other units of the sprinkler machine are also fixed. The water supply pipeline of the sprinkler machine is made in sections, preferably from a thin-walled steel pipe, and must meet a number of requirements, often contradictory, and therefore its design is created on the basis of a reasonable compromise, forming specific technical parameters designed to ensure long-term uninterrupted operation of the sprinkler machine. Thus, the pipeline sections must be light enough to ensure minimal pressure on the soil, but at the same time strong, capable of ensuring the passage of a significant mass of water during irrigation without exceeding the permissible deformation. Also, the pipeline sections are required to have increased corrosion resistance, while it is preferable to use inexpensive metal for the production of steel pipes, made thin-walled to reduce the weight of the pipeline.
[0004] A pipeline of a multi-support irrigation machine is known, described in the patent of the Russian Federation for utility model No. 159276 (published on 10.02.2016), which indicates the possibility of making pipeline sections from welded steel pipes with an external diameter of 177.8 mm and a wall thickness of 1.8 mm or from sections with welded steel pipes with an external diameter of 152 mm and a wall thickness of 1.8 mm. At the same time, anti-corrosion treatment of pipeline sections is not considered. From the Internet resource htps: / / konus.by / goryachee-czinkovanie / o-goryachem- czinkovanii.html (page "Technical regulations", document "Technical regulations for hot-dip galvanizing of metal structures") and htps: / / ankorltd.ru / cinkovanie / gorvachee-cinkovanie / zashchita-goriachim-tcinkovaniem / (SP 53-101-98 "Manufacture and quality control of steel building structures" (approved and put into effect by the Resolution of the State Construction Committee of the Russian Federation dated May 17, 1999.N 37) the optimum values of silicon content in low-carbon steels, from which thin-walled pipes for sprinkler machines are manufactured, for subsequent economical and smooth application of a coating by hot-dip galvanizing, are known. One of the ranges of the optimum value is from 0.11% to 0.25% silicon content.
[0005] The patent of the Russian Federation for utility model No. 203708 (published on April 16, 2021) describes a pipe for a section of a water supply pipeline of a multi-support sprinkler machine, made of low-carbon steel with a silicon content of 0.12% to 0.25%, containing an external and internal zinc coating and equipped with fittings with the possibility of connecting to a spray device. The pipe is made thin-walled welded with a wall thickness of 2 - 4.5 mm, with an external diameter of PO - 220 mm, a length of 4 - 12 m and with a zinc coating thickness of 60 - 200 μm, while the fittings with an internal thread from 1 / 2 to 1 inch are installed at a distance of 1 - 3 m from each other. The pipe is provided with outer steel edge flanges, the inner diameter of which is equal to the inner diameter of the pipe, with the formation of an external weld seam between the flange and the pipe.
[0006] The technical problem of the solutions considered is the insufficient range of special-purpose tubular products, which are the basis for the production of sections of water supply pipelines for multi-support mobile irrigation machines.
[0007] The specified technical problem in a special-purpose pipe made of thin-walled welded low-carbon steel with a silicon content of 0.11% to 0.25%, with an outer diameter of at least 110 mm, a length of no more than 12 m, containing an outer and inner zinc coating with a thickness of 40 - 250 μm and equipped with a number of outlet openings, is solved by the fact that the pipe is made with an outer diameter of no more than 255 mm, a length of at least 3 m, while outlet openings with a diameter of 10 - 40 mm are formed at a distance of 0.5 - 4 m between their axes.
[0008] As a rule, the pipe is made with a wall thickness of 2 - 4.5 mm.
[0009] At least part of the outlet holes can be made by thermal drilling with the formation of an annular flange along the perimeter of the hole and subsequent making of an internal thread in it.
[0010] As a rule, the outlet openings are equipped with threaded nipples. In this case, the nipples can be welded from the outside and cover the outlet openings. In another case, the nipples can be installed from the inside of the pipe into the outlet openings and fixed in them by means of an external nut on the nipple. The nipples can also be installed from the outside of the pipe by screwing into the outlet openings.
[0011] The pipe is preferably provided with outer steel edge flanges, the inner diameter of which is less than the outer diameter of the pipe, to form an outer weld between the flange and the pipe.
[0012] In another case, the pipe may be equipped with outer steel edge flanges, the inner diameter of which is not less than the outer diameter of the pipe, and the outer side of the flange relative to the pipe and the end of the pipe are located in the same plane, with the formation of an external weld seam between the flange and the pipe.
[0013] It is also possible to supply the pipe with outer steel edge flanges, the inner diameter of which is not less than the outer diameter of the pipe, and the outer side of the flange relative to the pipe and the end of the pipe are located in parallel planes spaced apart from each other, with the formation of outer or outer and inner welded seams between the flange and the pipe.
[0014] The flanges are usually made 8-30 mm thick, with holes 10-22 mm in diameter formed in the flanges for fastening bolts.
[0015] Flanges can be made polygonal or round.
[0016] The pipe can be provided with an internal polymer coating or an internal polymer insert. It is possible to use a pipe 4 - 10 m long in cable structures of a sprinkling machine.
[0017] It is also possible to use pipes of 3 - 12 m length in truss structures of a sprinkler machine.
[0018] The technical result of the utility model is the expansion of the arsenal of technical means, namely, thin-walled steel pipes for sections of water supply pipelines of irrigation machines based on a thin-walled steel pipe with optimal galvanization of the outer and inner surfaces.

[0037] The sprinkler machine (Fig. 1, Fig. 4, Fig. 5) comprises a water supply pipeline 1 with spraying devices 2 connected thereto, mounted on support carts 3 with wheels 4 with the ability to move along the field being treated. Each of the support carts 3 is self-propelled and is provided with a drive electric motor 5 (Fig. 1), or a hydraulic piston engine 6 (Fig. 4, Fig. 5), or a hydraulic motor (not shown), connected to at least one wheel 4 of the cart 3. The sprinkler machine is provided with a support system for the pipeline 1 in the form of trusses 7 (Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3) or a cable-stayed cable support system (Fig. 4, Fig. 5), including cable supports 8 on the support carts 3.
[0038] The water supply pipeline 1 is assembled from sections 9 (Fig. 6, Fig. 7). The connection between the sections 9 of the pipeline 1 can be carried out through an annular sealing gasket 10 (Fig. 8). Each section 9 of the pipeline 1 of the multi-support irrigation machine contains a pipe 11 (Fig. 9, Fig. 10, Fig. 11) made thin-walled, preferably with a wall thickness of 2 - 4.5 mm, welded from low-carbon steel with a silicon content of 0.11% to 0.25%, with an outer diameter of 111 - 255 mm, a length of 3 - 12 m, containing an outer and inner zinc coating with a thickness of 40 - 250 μm. The optimum coating thickness, evenly distributed over the entire surface of the structure, was obtained as a result of experimental work on applying a zinc coating to products made of low-carbon steel with a silicon content of 0.11% to 0.25%.
[0039] The cost of the protective coating is determined mainly by the amount of zinc used to coat a given thickness. In this case, technological cost savings can be ensured by uniformity of its distribution over the entire surface. When galvanizing structures by immersion in the melt, taking into account the features of the hanging scheme for long products, the coating thickness on the upper and lower parts of the structure differs, since there is a different time spent in the melt. To reduce the spread between the thickness of the upper and lower parts of the structure during galvanizing, the upper external diameter of the pipe was structurally limited to 255 mm. Above this diameter, the error in the distribution of the coating thickness increases significantly, i.e.up to the upper limit of the external diameter of the pipe of 255 mm, the formation of a zinc thickness up to the acceptable limit of 250 μm is observed, and with an increase in the upper limit of the external diameter of the pipe, a significant uneven increase in the coating thickness occurs within the limits of up to 350 μm, which leads to a loss of elasticity of the coating and its peeling off during the operation of the pipe as part of the pipeline of a sprinkler machine, bending during movement along the cultivated field.
[0040] When galvanizing pipes with an outside diameter of less than 10 mm for thin-walled products, the risk of warping (wall deformation in the form of metal deflections) increases, as well as deviation of axial straightness (curvature) by more than 0.2% of the pipe length, which may lead to the impossibility of using the part in an assembled structure. Under the influence of temperature stresses associated with metal deformation during installation and operation, peeling of the coating may occur, contributing to the formation of corrosion centers.
[0041] Determining the specified lengths of pipes contributes to the fact that when galvanizing a product with dimensions greater than 12 m, the filling of the pipes with zinc and the flow of zinc occurs more slowly; when extracting, the temperature of the products gradually decreases and local zinc deposits can form on the inner surface of the pipe, which cannot be removed mechanically, which leads to a loss of elasticity of the coating at the site of the deposit and its peeling off during operation of the pipe as part of a sprinkler pipeline, bending during movement across the cultivated field.
[0042] Products less than 3 m long have a small weight, given that the density of steel is almost equal to the density of molten zinc, immersion of products hung horizontally at an angle at standard speeds is limited technologically in order to avoid the formation of defects in the form of sections not covered with zinc. When products are hung vertically, zinc build-ups in the form of sharp drops, slag and flux inclusions are formed on the horizontal surfaces of the pipe, which requires an additional technological operation of removal when the homogeneity and continuity of the zinc coating is violated, which may subsequently affect the service life of the product. The time of complete immersion of such products increases significantly compared to technological standards, as a result of which the surfaces from which immersion in molten zinc begins acquire a coating of much greater thickness than the surfaces on which immersion ends. The presence of thicker coating sections on a pipe leads to a loss of elasticity of the coating and its peeling off during operation of the pipe as part of a sprinkler machine pipeline.
[0043] The pipe 11 is provided with a number of outlet openings 12 with a diameter of 10 - 40 mm, formed at a distance of 0.5 - 4 m between their axes. The presence of outlet openings facilitates rapid filling of the pipe with zinc during the process of immersion of products in the melt and a reduction in the total time of galvanizing a large-sized product, which affects the formation of a given coating thickness. In this way, the filling rate and the rate of immersion of the pipe in the zinc bath are increased, as well as the effective removal of zinc when removing the product from the rasslav, due to which the permissible immersion time of up to 5 seconds is maintained.
[0044] To solve such problems, the regulatory documents on hot-dip galvanizing, as a rule, provide for the execution of technological openings of a given diameter, in a quantity determined based on the surface area of the product. Such a solution is not suitable for structures operating on bending while maintaining certain strength characteristics, therefore, the pipe was provided with outlet openings with a diameter of 10 - 40 mm, formed at an optimal distance of 0.5 - 4 m between their axes.
[0045] At least part of the outlet openings 12 can be made by thermal drilling (friction drilling), for example, with tungsten carbide drills (punches), with the formation of an annular collar 13 along the perimeter of the opening 12 and the subsequent making of an internal thread in it (Fig. 12). Such drilling is described, in particular, in the Internet resource https: / / tool-24.ru / articles / 109914 / . Such collars 13 with internal threads perform the functions of a nozzle intended for the installation of spraying devices 2 in it.
[0046] But, as a rule, the outlet openings 12 of the pipe are provided with separate nipples 14 with threads. In particular, nipples 14 can be welded from the outside and cover the outlet openings 12 (Fig. 14). In another case, nipples 14 are installed from the inside of the pipe 11 in the outlet openings 12 and secured in them by means of an external nut 15 on the nipple 14 (Fig. 15). Also, nipples 14 can be installed outside the pipe 11 by screwing into the outlet openings 12 (Fig. 16). Protective plugs with pouring holes are screwed into the nipples 14 welded to the pipes 11 to protect the thread before hot-dip galvanizing; before screwing in the plugs, the thread is lubricated with a protective heat-resistant paste. The wall thickness of the welded nipples is from 2 to 4 mm.
[0047] The pipe 11 is usually provided with outer edge steel flanges 16. In particular, the inner diameter of the flange 16 may be less than the outer diameter of the pipe 11, with the formation of an outer weld 17 between the flange 16 and the pipe 11 (Fig. 17). In another case, the inner diameter of the flange 16 may be not less than the outer diameter of the pipe 11, and the outer side of the flange 16 relative to the pipe 11 and the end of the pipe 11 are located in the same plane, with the formation of an outer weld 17 between the flange 16 and the pipe 11 (Fig. 18). It is also possible to connect flange 16 to pipe 11, when the inner diameter of flange 16 is not less than the outer diameter of pipe 11, and the outer side of flange 16 relative to pipe 11 and the end of pipe I are located in parallel planes spaced apart from each other, with the formation of an outer weld 17 (Fig. 19) between flange 16 and pipe 11 or outer and inner welds 17, 18 between flange 16 and pipe 11 (Fig. 20).The choice of the type of connection of the flange with the pipe is related to the pressure under which the working fluid is in the pipeline. In particular, at high pressure (over 10 atmospheres) it is advisable to perform external and internal welds 17, 18 between the flange 16 and the pipe 11, as shown in Fig. 20.
[0048] Flanges 16 are usually made polygonal, preferably hexagonal or octagonal, but can also be round, 8 - 30 mm thick, while holes 19 with a diameter of 10 - 22 mm for fastening bolts are formed in flanges 16.
[0049] The pipe 11 can be provided with an internal polymer coating 20 (Fig. 13) for additional protection against aggressive chemicals used for irrigation for processing fields in agriculture. In another case, for the same purpose, the pipe 11 can be provided with an internal polymer insert. When using the internal polymer coating 20, the service life of the pipe 11 of the sprinkler machine increases by 1.5 times, from approximately 10 to 15 years.
[0050] In cable-stayed structures (Fig. 4, Fig. 5) of a sprinkler machine, sections 9 of a pipeline 1 made of pipes 11 with a length of 4 to 10 m can be used.
[0051] In truss structures (Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3) of a sprinkler machine, sections 9 of pipeline 1 are preferably made from pipes 11 of the same length from 3 to 12 m.
[0052] It should be noted that the above embodiments illustrate, but do not limit the utility model, and that those skilled in the art will be able to develop many alternative embodiments without departing from the scope of the attached claims of the utility model. The mere fact that certain criteria are listed in mutually different dependent claims of the utility model does not indicate that a combination of these criteria cannot be used to obtain a beneficial effect.
