Description

[0001] Method for assembling a guide system for guiding at least one movably mounted door leaf along a furniture wall

[0002] The present invention relates to a method for assembling a guide system for guiding at least one movably mounted door leaf along a furniture wall, wherein the guide system has at least two guide rails having a longitudinal direction, each with at least one guide device mounted thereon for guiding a support that can be connected to the at least one door leaf, wherein the at least two guide rails are connected to one another via at least one cable of a cable pulling device for compensating a tilting moment of the support about a tilting axis by a restoring moment.

[0003] Furthermore, the invention relates to a guide system for guiding at least one movably mounted door leaf along a furniture wall.

[0004] Such guide systems are usually used to guide at least one door leaf, which can be inserted in a depth direction of the furniture along a furniture wall into a furniture body or into a receiving compartment located laterally next to the furniture body.

[0005] A particular challenge when guiding such a door leaf is that the door leaf tends to tilt due to the force of its weight. Such tilting of the door leaf also leads to an inclined position of the support and to tilting of the two guide devices, which can cause the guide devices to jam in their associated guide rails. If this happens, movement of the door leaf is impossible or at least made significantly more difficult. A primary goal is therefore to ensure that the two guide devices are guided relative to their associated guide rails in a way that is largely secure against tilting.

[0006] Guide systems for a door leaf with a cable pull device for stabilizing a door leaf are shown, for example, in US 2007 / 0159037A1 (Fig. 4), in WO 2018 / 129568 A1 (Fig. 5a), in DE 197 09 461 A1 (Fig. 5), in EP 1 394 349 A1 (Fig. 1) and in EP 0 128 503 A1 (Fig. 3). However, the installation of the cable pull device is complicated and often only possible by qualified personnel.

[0007] The object of the present invention is to provide a method and a guide system of the type mentioned at the outset, wherein the assembly of the cable pulling device is simplified.

[0008] This is achieved according to the invention by the features of patent claims 1 and 9. Further advantageous embodiments of the present invention are defined in the dependent claims.

[0009] According to the invention, the method comprises the following steps, preferably in the given chronological order:

[0010] - at least one wall unit will be provided,

[0011] - an arrangement of the at least two guide rails and the at least one cable arranged therebetween is positioned, preferably laid down, on the at least one furniture wall,

[0012] - one of the two guide rails is fastened, preferably screwed, to the at least one furniture wall, preferably at one end of the at least one furniture wall,

[0013] - the other of the two guide rails is moved relative to the guide rail already attached to the at least one guide rail on the furniture wall in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the guide rails, whereby a distance between the two guide rails is increased,

[0014] - a length of at least one cable section of the cable arranged between the two guide rails is increased when the distance between the two guide rails is increased.

[0015] The guide system according to the invention has an arrangement comprising at least two guide rails and at least one cable arranged therebetween, wherein the two guide rails are arranged relative to one another at a first distance transverse to the longitudinal direction of the two guide rails in a delivery state of the arrangement and at a second distance which is greater than the first distance in a state mounted on the furniture wall, wherein when the two guide rails are transferred from the delivery state to the mounted state, a length of at least one cable section of the cable arranged between the two guide rails can be increased, preferably wherein in the delivery state one end of the at least one cable projects beyond a component of the arrangement, preferably beyond one of the two guide rails, and when the two guide rails are transferred from the delivery state to the mounted state, can be shortened.

[0016] In other words, at least two guide rails are provided, which are connected to one another via at least one cable of the cable pulling device. In a first step, a first guide rail is fastened to a furniture wall. In a further step, the second guide rail is moved relative to the guide pre-fastened to the furniture wall in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the guide rails, wherein the length of the cable can be increased.

[0017] In a further step, the second guide rail is attached to the furniture wall. In a further step, the cable of the cable pull device is adjusted relative to the

[0018] Guide rails tensioned.

[0019] Further details and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of the figures.

[0030] The door leaves 3a, 3b and the door leaves 4a, 4b are each movable by a guide system 5 between a first position in which the door leaves 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b are aligned substantially coplanar to one another, and a second position in which the door leaves 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b are aligned substantially parallel to one another.

[0031] The door leaves 3a, 3b can be inserted into a lateral receiving compartment 8a of the furniture body 2 in a second (parallel) position, while the other two door leaves 4a, 4b can be inserted into a further receiving compartment 8b in a parallel position to one another. The operation is explained below using the door leaves 3a and 3b, whereby the same explanations apply to the door leaves 4a, 4b.

[0032] The guide system 5 comprises a guide 7 with a longitudinal direction L, wherein a carriage 14, which can be coupled to the second door leaf 3b, is mounted so as to be movable along the guide 7. In an installed position, the guide 7 is aligned substantially horizontally and parallel to a front edge of the furniture body 2.

[0033] Preferably, the guide 7 is designed as a guide rail.

[0034] Fig. 1b shows the piece of furniture 1, wherein the door leaves 3a, 3b have been moved from the coplanar position shown in Fig. 1a into an angular position relative to each other.

[0035] The first door leaf 3a can, for example, be pivotably mounted on a support 11 via two or more furniture hinges 10, wherein the support 11 (together with the two door leaves 3a, 3b) can be inserted into the receiving compartment 8a in the depth direction Z.

[0036] In the figure shown, the carrier 11 is in a transfer position in which the carrier 11 is connected to the guide 7 in the longitudinal direction L in such a way that the carriage 14 can be transferred back and forth between the guide 7 and the carrier 11.

[0037] In the transfer position shown, the carrier 11 is releasably locked relative to the guide 7, wherein the locking of the carrier 11 can be released by the carriage 14 entering or onto the carrier 11.

[0038] The support 11 is designed in the form of an elongated column, the length of which corresponds to at least half the height of the door leaves 3a, 3b.

[0039] The two door leaves 3a, 3b are connected to one another in an articulated manner by at least one hinge fitting 9 about a rotation axis that runs vertically in the assembled position. The second door leaf 3b is guided along the guide 7 via the carriage 14.

[0040] Fig. 2a shows the piece of furniture 1 with the door leaves 3a and 3b, which are now aligned parallel to one another. The support 11 has been unlocked from the guide 7 by the carriage 14 entering, so that the support 11 (together with the carriage 14 and the door leaves 3a, 3b) can be pushed into the receiving compartment 8a in the depth direction Z along at least two guide rails 12a, 12b (Fig. 3) of the guide system 5, which guide rails are spaced apart from one another in the height direction.

[0041] Fig. 2b shows the piece of furniture 1 with the door leaves 3a, 3b, which are now in a fully inserted state in the receiving compartment 8a. The door leaves 3a, 3b are thus movably mounted by the guide system 5, starting from a first position according to Fig. 1a, in which the door leaves 3a, 3b are aligned substantially coplanar to one another, and a second position according to Fig. 2b, in which the door leaves 3a, 3b are aligned substantially parallel to one another and can be accommodated within the receiving compartment 8a.

[0042] In this way, for example, a kitchen 37 as shown in Figures 2a, 2b can be completely covered, so that the kitchen 37 can be visually separated from the remaining area of a living space.

[0043] In the exemplary embodiment shown, the receiving compartment 8a is formed by a first furniture wall 13a and by a second furniture wall 13b which is spaced apart substantially parallel from the first furniture wall 13a, wherein the door leaves 3a, 3b can be received in a parallel position to one another between the two furniture walls 13a, 13b.

[0044] Fig. 3 shows the guide system 5 in a perspective view. The guide 7 allows the door leaves 3a, 3b to be guided along one end face of the furniture body 2.

[0045] The support 11 is designed for pivotally supporting the first door leaf 3a and can have at least one furniture hinge 10 or several furniture hinges 10 which are spaced apart from one another in a longitudinal direction of the support 11.

[0046] The carrier 11 is mounted so as to be movable in the depth direction Z via a first guide device 19a along a first guide rail 12a and via a second guide device 19b along a second guide rail 12b.

[0047] The carrier 11 and / or the guide devices 19a, 19b can have or can have at least one rolling element which is mounted so as to be movable along a guide rail 12a, 12b.

[0048] It is preferably provided that the carrier 11 and / or the guide devices 19a, 19b have or have a plurality of rolling elements which are rotatably mounted about an axis running horizontally in the assembled position and / or about an axis running vertically in the assembled position and which can roll on a guide rail 12a, 12b.

[0049] In the illustrated embodiment, at least one further guide rail 12c is provided, which is spaced apart from the two guide rails 12a, 12b in a vertical direction. The guide rails 12a, 12b, 12c each have a longitudinal direction LI.

[0050] Fig. 4 shows a schematic side view of the guide system 5, wherein the first guide rail 12a and the second guide rail 12b are fastened to the furniture wall 13a, wherein the second guide rail 12b is arranged at a vertical distance 6 from the first guide rail 12a on the furniture wall 13a.

[0051] The carrier 11 is mounted so as to be movable in the depth direction Z via the first guide device 19a along the first guide rail 12a and via the second guide device 19b along the second guide rail 12b.

[0052] At least one door leaf 3a is pivotally mounted on the support 11, with the door leaf 3a being indicated by a dotted line. The support 11 is connected to the two guide devices 19a, 19b in a motion-coupled manner.

[0053] Furthermore, a cable pull device 15 (Fig. 5) is provided for compensating a tilting moment 16 of the support 11 about a tilting axis 17 by means of a restoring moment 18. When the support 11 or the door leaf 3a is vertically aligned, the tilting axis 17 is horizontally aligned.

[0054] The cable pulling device 15 thus ensures that at least one door leaf 3a is guided stably in every position, without the guide devices 19a, 19b tilting relative to the guide rails 12a, 12b.

[0055] Fig. 5 shows a schematic side view of the guide system 5. The carrier 11 is mounted so as to be movable between a retracted end position and an extended end position in the depth direction Z along the two guide rails 12a, 12b.

[0056] In the figure shown, the carrier 11 is located approximately in a middle position between the retracted end position and the extended end position. The carrier 11 is movably mounted along the guide rails 12a, 12b via the two guide devices 19a, 19b.
