[0004] When performing auscultation using measured body sounds, the body sounds to be auscultated must have high sound quality, and therefore data at a high sampling rate is required. However, with conventional technology, analyzing body sounds using high-quality data has the problem of increasing the processing load associated with the analysis process.
[0005] An aspect of the present invention aims to realize a technology that can prevent the processing load associated with analyzing body sound data from becoming too large without degrading the sound quality when outputting measured body sound data as audio.
[0006] In order to solve the above problems, a body sound measurement device according to one aspect of the present invention includes an acquisition processing unit that acquires body sound data of a measurement target at a first sampling frequency, an audio output processing unit that processes the body sound data and outputs the processed body sound data as sound, and an analysis processing unit that analyzes the body sound data and outputs an analysis result, wherein the audio output processing unit processes the body sound data of the first sampling frequency, and the analysis processing unit converts the body sound data of the first sampling frequency to a second sampling frequency that is lower than the first sampling frequency, and analyzes the body sound data of the second sampling frequency.
[0007] The body sound measuring device according to each aspect of the present invention may be realized by a computer. In this case, the control program for the body sound measuring device, which causes the computer to operate as each part (software element) of the body sound measuring device, thereby realizing the body sound measuring device on the computer, and the computer-readable recording medium on which the program is recorded, also fall within the scope of the present invention.
[0008] According to one aspect of the present invention, it is possible to prevent the processing load associated with the analysis processing of measured body sound data from becoming large without degrading the sound quality when the measured body sound data is output as voice.

[0010] [Embodiment 1] An embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below. Fig. 1 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of a body sound measurement device 1. The body sound measurement device 1 is a device that measures the body sounds of a measurement target, and is, for example, an electronic stethoscope, a respiratory sound analyzer, or a heart sound analyzer. The body sound measurement device 1 can be used to measure the body sounds of a measurement target for various purposes. Examples of body sounds that can be measured include, but are not limited to, blood flow sounds, respiratory sounds, heart sounds, etc. of humans, livestock, pets, etc.
[0011] The body sound measuring device 1 includes a sensor 11 , an A / D converter 12 , a communication processor 13 , a storage processor 14 , an analysis processor 15 , a sound output processor 16 , a storage device 17 , an input / output IF 18 , and a D / A converter 19 .
[0012] The sensor 11 outputs an analog signal representing the body sound of the measurement target. The sensor 11 is, for example, a microphone that collects body sound, or an acoustic sensor such as an acceleration sensor or pressure sensor, but is not limited to these.
[0013] The A / D converter 12 converts the analog signal output from the sensor 11 into a digital signal at a sampling frequency f sAD That is, the A / D converter 12 samples the body sound data of the measurement target at a sampling frequency f sAD The A / D conversion unit 12 is an example of an acquisition processing unit according to the present disclosure. sAD is an example of a first sampling frequency according to the present disclosure. sAD is, for example, 16 kHz, but is not limited to this.
[0014] The communication processing unit 13 receives the sampling frequency f sAD The biological sound data is sampled at a sampling frequency of f sAD A sampling frequency f lower than sTR and the sampling frequency f sTR The biological sound data is transmitted to the outside. Sampling frequency f sTR is an example of a fourth sampling frequency according to the present disclosure. Communication methods used by the communication processing unit 13 include, but are not limited to, Bluetooth (registered trademark) and Wi-Fi (registered trademark). The destination of the body sound data is, for example, a general-purpose computer such as a personal computer 3, or a dedicated machine such as a dialysis console. Examples of the personal computer 3 include, but are not limited to, a laptop computer, a tablet terminal, a smartphone, etc.
[0015] The storage processing unit 14 stores the body sound data. The storage processing unit 14 stores the body sound data at a sampling frequency f sAD The biological sound data is sampled at a sampling frequency of f sAD A sampling frequency f lower than sStr and the sampling frequency f sStr The biological sound data is saved at a sampling frequency of f sStris an example of a fifth sampling frequency according to the present disclosure. The storage processing unit 14 may store the body sound data by writing it to a storage destination (which may be within the storage device 17 of the body sound measurement device 1 or a storage device outside the body sound measurement device 1) designated by a user (e.g., a medical professional) of the body sound measurement device 1.
[0016] The analysis processing unit 15 analyzes the body sound data and outputs the analysis result. sAD The biological sound data is sampled at a sampling frequency of f sAD A sampling frequency f lower than sAna and the sampling frequency f sAna Analyze the biological sound data at sampling frequency f sAna is an example of a second sampling frequency according to the present disclosure. sAD is 16 kHz, the sampling frequency f sAna is, for example, 8 kHz.
[0017] The method of analyzing the body sound data by the analysis processing unit 15 is not particularly limited, and analysis processing may be performed according to the application. In many cases, analysis of the body sound data by the analysis processing unit 15 involves detection of body sounds (abnormal sounds) known to be associated with disease, and calculation of indicators indicating the state of the body, such as heart rate and respiratory rate. Detection of abnormal sounds and calculation of indicators may be performed, for example, by detecting peak values or waveform features, frequency analysis, etc. Furthermore, known processing such as various types of filtering may be performed as preprocessing.
[0018] The analysis processing unit 15 also outputs the analysis result at a sampling frequency f sAna A sampling frequency f lower than sDisp It may be output at a sampling frequency of f sDisp is an example of a third sampling frequency according to the present disclosure. sAna is 8 kHz, the sampling frequency f sDisp is less than 8 kHz, for example 1 kHz.
[0019] When the analysis results are output to a display device such as a monitor, if the update frequency of the analysis results is too high, the visibility is poor and the display may not be appropriate for users such as medical professionals to use to make decisions. sDisp By outputting the results in this way, analysis results can be output in a timely manner according to the required update frequency.
[0020] The analysis processing unit 15 outputs the analysis results to the display device 4 and the personal computer 5 via the input / output IF 18. Examples of the display device 4 include, but are not limited to, a segment LED, a liquid crystal display, and a projector. Examples of the personal computer 5 include, but are not limited to, a laptop computer, a tablet terminal, a smartphone, etc.
[0021] The audio output processing unit 16 outputs a sampling frequency f sADThe audio output processor 16 processes the body sound data and outputs the processed body sound data as audio. For example, the audio output processor 16 processes the body sound data by filtering the body sound data. More specifically, for example, the audio output processor 16 processes the body sound data by applying a hearing compensation filter to the body sound data. Examples of hearing compensation filters include, but are not limited to, a BEL filter and a DIA filter. The BEL filter is a filter for reproducing sounds heard when using the bell surface of a typical analog stethoscope, and is a filter that cuts high-frequency components to make low-pitched sounds easier to hear. The DIA filter is a filter for reproducing sounds heard when using the diaphragm surface of a stethoscope, and is a filter that makes high-pitched sounds easier to hear compared to the BEL filter. As a hearing compensation filter other than the BEL and DIA filters, for example, an EXT filter may be provided. The EXT filter is a filter that corrects the frequency characteristics of the sensor 11 and the acquisition processor, and outputs the body sound of the measurement target as is as much as possible. The EXT filter enables the stethoscope user to hear sounds in a frequency band that cannot be heard with a conventional analog stethoscope. As an example, the biological sound measuring device 1B has a switch (not shown) for switching between a bell mode and a diaphragm mode, and the hearing correction filter is switched based on the switching of this switch.
[0022] At this time, the audio output processing unit 16 outputs the processed body sound data at a sampling frequency f sAD The same sampling frequency f sDA You can output audio at a sampling frequency of f sAD A sampling frequency f lower than sDA The audio may be output at a sampling frequency of f sDA is an example of a sixth sampling frequency according to the present disclosure. sAna , sampling frequency f sTR and sampling frequency f sStr For example, the sampling frequency f sDisp It may be higher than that.
[0023] The D / A converter 19 converts the body sound data output by the audio output processor 16 into an analog signal and outputs the converted data to the audio output device 6. The audio output device 6 is, for example, an earphone or a speaker.
[0024] The downsampling method used by the communication processing unit 13, the storage processing unit 14, and the analysis processing unit 15 is not limited. For example, the communication processing unit 13, the storage processing unit 14, and the analysis processing unit 15 may use a sampling frequency f sAD Downsampling may be performed on the body sound data by setting a low-pass filter coefficient whose cutoff frequency is the Nyquist frequency after downsampling, performing LPF processing, and then thinning out the data. For example, when changing the sampling frequency from 16 kHz to 8 kHz, the communication processing unit 13, the storage processing unit 14, and the analysis processing unit 15 perform thinning out by discarding even-numbered data and retaining odd-numbered data. In this case, by performing low-pass filtering with a cutoff frequency of 4 kHz on the body sound data to be thinned out, aliasing noise can be prevented from being introduced into the sound represented by the body sound data after thinning out. Furthermore, the communication processing unit 13, the storage processing unit 14, and the analysis processing unit 15 may perform downsampling individually. Alternatively, downsampling may be performed on the body sound data output from the A / D conversion unit 12, and the downsampled body sound data may be distributed to at least one of the communication processing unit 13, the storage processing unit 14, and the analysis processing unit 15.
[0025] 2 is a flow chart showing an example of the flow of the body sound measuring method according to this embodiment. Note that some steps may be executed in parallel or in a different order. In step S11, the A / D converter 12 converts the body sound data of the measurement target into a digital signal at a sampling frequency f sAD Get it at:
[0026] In step S12, the audio output processing unit 16 processes the body sound data and outputs the processed body sound data as audio. At this time, the audio output processing unit 16 outputs the processed body sound data as audio at a sampling frequency f sAD Process biological sound data.
[0027] In step S13, the analysis processing unit 15 analyzes the body sound data and outputs the analysis result. sAD The biological sound data is sampled at a sampling frequency of f sAD A sampling frequency f lower than sAna and the sampling frequency f sAna Analyze biological sound data.
[0028] In step S14, the communication processing unit 13 calculates the sampling frequency f sAD The biological sound data is sampled at a sampling frequency of f sAD A sampling frequency f lower than sTR and the sampling frequency f sTR The biological sound data is transmitted to an external device.
[0029] In step S15, the storage processing unit 14 calculates the sampling frequency f sAD The biological sound data is sampled at a sampling frequency of f sAD A sampling frequency f lower than sStr and the sampling frequency f sStr Save the biological sound data.
[0030] Incidentally, in a biological sound measuring device, there is a demand for a low sampling rate due to limitations on communication throughput, internal storage capacity, numerical calculation load, power consumption, etc. On the other hand, there is a demand for handling data at a high sampling rate because high quality is required for audio data used for auditory evaluation (auscultation). According to this embodiment, the biological sound measuring device 1 has a sampling frequency f sAD The biological sound data is processed and output as sound, and the sampling frequency f sAD A sampling frequency f lower than sAnaThe body sound measurement device 1 analyzes the body sound data. In this way, the body sound measurement device 1 converts (downsamples) the sampling rate depending on the application, enabling it to handle data of appropriate quality. As a result, according to this embodiment, it is possible to prevent the processing load and power consumption associated with the analysis of body sound data from increasing without degrading the sound quality when the measured body sound data is output as audio, which is preferable because it makes it possible to reduce the cost of hardware associated with the analysis process and realize battery operation due to low power consumption.
[0031] [Modifications] (Modification 1) Fig. 3 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of a body sound measurement device 1B according to a modification of the above embodiment. In Fig. 3, an audio output processing unit 16B of the body sound measurement device 1B processes the body sound data by applying an audibility correction filter to the body sound data, and outputs the processed body sound data to an analysis processing unit 15B. The analysis processing unit 15B analyzes the body sound data processed by the audio output processing unit 16B.
[0032] (Modification 2) Fig. 4 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of a body sound measurement device 1C according to another modification of the above embodiment. In Fig. 4, the body sound measurement device 1C does not have the communication processing unit 13, the storage processing unit 14, and the storage device 17 according to the body sound measurement device 1. In the body sound measurement device 1C, the sampling frequency f sAD The biological sound data is processed and output as sound, and the sampling frequency f sAD A sampling frequency f lower than sAna By analyzing the body sound data, it is possible to prevent the processing load associated with the analysis of the body sound data from becoming too large without degrading the sound quality when the measured body sound data is output as audio.
[0033] (Modification 3) Fig. 5 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of a body sound measurement device 1D according to another modification of the above embodiment. In Fig. 5, the body sound measurement device 1D does not have the storage processing unit 14 and storage device 17 according to the body sound measurement device 1. In the body sound measurement device 1D, the sampling frequency f sADThe biological sound data is processed and output as sound, and the sampling frequency f sAD A sampling frequency f lower than sAna By analyzing the body sound data, it is possible to prevent the processing load associated with the analysis of the body sound data from becoming too large without degrading the sound quality when the measured body sound data is output as audio.
[0034] (Modification 4) Fig. 6 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of a body sound measurement device 1E according to another modification of the above embodiment. In Fig. 6, the body sound measurement device 1E does not have the communication processing unit 13 according to the body sound measurement device 1. In the body sound measurement device 1E, the sampling frequency f sAD The biological sound data is processed and output as sound, and the sampling frequency f sAD A sampling frequency f lower than sAna By analyzing the body sound data, it is possible to prevent the processing load associated with the analysis of the body sound data from becoming too large without degrading the sound quality when the measured body sound data is output as audio.
[0035] (Variation 5) In one example, the measurement target may be shunt sound, which is the sound of blood flow at the shunt formation site. In this case, the analysis processing unit 15 performs an extraction process to extract specific frequency components from biological sound data at a second sampling frequency obtained by downsampling biological sound data at a first sampling frequency. The extraction process may, for example, include band-pass filtering followed by amplitude detection processing using absolute values. As the specific frequency components, it is preferable to set the passband of the band-pass filter to, for example, frequency components between 40 and 170 Hz, which include the main components of the shunt sound. Next, the analysis processing unit 15 performs low-pass filtering on the extracted specific frequency components. This allows the calculation of the integral value of the amplitude of the extracted specific frequency components. This value is an index highly correlated with the shunt blood flow (FV, Flow Volume) measured by shunt echocardiography.
[0036] Furthermore, the analysis processing unit 15 can perform downsampling processing by performing thinning processing following the low-pass filtering processing described above, and output the analysis results at the third sampling frequency, thereby making it possible to share part of the analysis processing with part of the downsampling processing.
[0037] [Additional Notes] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the claims. Embodiments obtained by appropriately combining the technical means disclosed in different embodiments are also included in the technical scope of the present invention.
[0038] [Summary] A body sound measurement device according to a first aspect of the present invention comprises an acquisition processing unit that acquires body sound data of a measurement target at a first sampling frequency, an audio output processing unit that processes the body sound data and outputs the processed body sound data as audio, and an analysis processing unit that analyzes the body sound data and outputs an analysis result, wherein the audio output processing unit processes the body sound data of the first sampling frequency, and the analysis processing unit converts the body sound data of the first sampling frequency to a second sampling frequency that is lower than the first sampling frequency, and analyzes the body sound data of the second sampling frequency.
[0039] According to the above configuration, when the measured body sound data is output as a sound, a relatively high first sampling frequency f sAD Since D / A conversion can be performed at a relatively low second sampling frequency f, audible band noise, such as image components, generated by the D / A conversion can be reduced, so the load of analog processing after D / A conversion can be reduced, the cost of the analog processing can be reduced, and deterioration of sound quality can be prevented. sAna At the same time, it is possible to prevent the processing load from becoming too large.
[0040] Furthermore, in the body sound measuring device according to the second aspect of the present invention, in addition to the configuration of the body sound measuring device according to the second aspect described above, a configuration is adopted in which the analysis processing unit outputs the analysis result at a third sampling frequency lower than the second sampling frequency.
[0041] According to the above configuration, the visibility of the analysis results can be improved.
[0042] Furthermore, in the body sound measuring device according to the third aspect of the present invention, in addition to the configuration of the body sound measuring device according to the first or second aspect described above, a configuration is adopted in which the first sampling frequency is 16 kHz, the second sampling frequency is 8 kHz, and the third sampling frequency is less than 8 kHz.
[0043] According to the above configuration, it is possible to prevent the processing load associated with the analysis of the body sound data from becoming too large without degrading the sound quality when outputting the measured body sound data as audio, and to improve the visibility of the analysis results.
[0044] Furthermore, a body sound measuring device according to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in addition to the configuration of the body sound measuring device according to any one of the first to third aspects described above, further includes a communication processing unit that transmits the body sound data to the outside, and the communication processing unit converts the body sound data of the first sampling frequency to a fourth sampling frequency that is lower than the first sampling frequency, and transmits the body sound data of the fourth sampling frequency to the outside.
[0045] According to the above configuration, the communication load of the body sound data can be prevented from increasing without degrading the sound quality when the measured body sound data is output as audio, which makes it possible to reduce communication costs and also reduces power consumption related to communication, thereby enabling battery operation and extending battery life, which is preferable.
[0046] Furthermore, a body sound measuring device according to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in addition to the configuration of the body sound measuring device according to any one of the first to fourth aspects described above, further includes a storage processing unit that stores the body sound data, and the storage processing unit converts the body sound data of the first sampling frequency to a fifth sampling frequency that is lower than the first sampling frequency, and stores the body sound data of the fifth sampling frequency.
[0047] According to the above configuration, it is possible to prevent the amount of body sound data to be stored from increasing without deteriorating the sound quality when the measured body sound data is output as voice, thereby reducing the cost involved in storage and facilitating subsequent handling. This is preferable because it enables long-term data storage.
[0048] Furthermore, a body sound measuring device according to a sixth aspect of the present invention further includes, in addition to the configuration of the body sound measuring device according to any one of the first to fifth aspects described above, a communication processing unit that transmits the body sound data to an external device, and a storage processing unit that stores the body sound data, wherein the analysis processing unit outputs the analysis result at a third sampling frequency lower than the second sampling frequency, the communication processing unit converts the body sound data of the first sampling frequency to a fourth sampling frequency lower than the first sampling frequency and transmits the body sound data of the fourth sampling frequency to an external device, the storage processing unit converts the body sound data of the first sampling frequency to a fifth sampling frequency lower than the first sampling frequency and stores the body sound data of the fifth sampling frequency, and the audio output processing unit outputs the processed body sound data as sound at a sixth sampling frequency that is equal to or lower than the first sampling frequency, and the second sampling frequency, the fourth sampling frequency, and the fifth sampling frequency are higher than the third sampling frequency and lower than the sixth sampling frequency.
[0049] Reducing the volume of data for communication and storage is advantageous in terms of power saving and low volume. On the other hand, data used for analysis and auditory perception can maintain sound quality and analysis quality at a high sampling rate. With the above configuration, it is possible to prevent an increase in the processing load related to output processing of the analysis results of body sound data without degrading the sound quality when outputting measured body sound data.
[0050] Furthermore, in a biological sound measuring device according to a seventh aspect of the present invention, in addition to the configuration of the biological sound measuring device according to the second aspect described above, a configuration is adopted in which the measurement target is a shunt sound, and the analysis processing unit performs an extraction process to extract specific frequency components from the biological sound data of the second sampling frequency, and performs low-pass filter processing and thinning processing on the extracted specific frequency components.
[0051] According to the above configuration, when the measurement target is a shunt sound, an index highly correlated with the shunt blood flow volume (FV, Flow Volume) measured by shunt echo can be calculated by performing an extraction process for extracting specific frequency components and a low-pass filter process, and the analysis result can be output at the third sampling frequency by performing the low-pass filter process and the thinning process. In this way, part of the analysis process can be shared with part of the down-sampling process.
[0052] Furthermore, in the biological sound measuring device according to the eighth aspect of the present invention, in addition to the configuration of the biological sound measuring device according to any one of the first to seventh aspects described above, a configuration that is an electronic stethoscope is adopted.
[0053] According to the above configuration, an electronic stethoscope can be provided that can prevent the processing load associated with analyzing the measured body sound data from becoming too large without degrading the sound quality when outputting the measured body sound data as audio.
[0054] [Example of implementation by software] The functions of the body sound measurement device 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "device") can be realized by a program that causes a computer to function as the device, and a program that causes a computer to function as each control block of the device.
[0055] In this case, the device includes a computer having at least one control device (e.g., a processor) and at least one storage device (e.g., a memory) as hardware for executing the program. The functions described in each of the above embodiments are realized by executing the program using the control device and storage device.
[0056] The program may be non-transitory and may be recorded on one or more computer-readable recording media. The recording media may or may not be included in the device. In the latter case, the program may be supplied to the device via any wired or wireless transmission medium.
[0057] Furthermore, some or all of the functions of the control blocks can be realized by logic circuits. For example, an integrated circuit in which a logic circuit that functions as each of the control blocks is formed is also included in the scope of the present invention. In addition, the functions of the control blocks can also be realized by, for example, a quantum computer.
[0058] Furthermore, the above configuration can improve the convenience of devices (diagnostic support for medical professionals) in remote consultations using electronic stethoscopes, etc. Such effects also contribute to the achievement of Goal 3 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) advocated by the United Nations, "Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages."
[0059] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the claims. Embodiments obtained by appropriately combining the technical means disclosed in different embodiments are also included in the technical scope of the present invention.
