[0067] According to one embodiment, the connector (208) can transmit and / or receive power and / or data (e.g., audio data) to and from an external electronic device. [0068] In one embodiment, the camera module (205), the sensor module (204), or the indicator may be arranged to be exposed through the display (201). For example, the camera module (205), the sensor module (204), or the indicator may be arranged to be in contact with the external environment through an opening perforated from the internal space of the electronic device (101) to the front plate (202) of the display (201). In another embodiment, some sensor modules (204) may be arranged to perform their functions without being visually exposed through the front plate (202) in the internal space of the electronic device. For example, adjacently placed antennas may include antennas placed within a physically specified distance that interfere with each other.

[0070] FIG. 3 is a block diagram of an electronic device supporting multiple communication methods according to one embodiment. FIG. 4A is an example of an antenna structure related to multiple communication methods in an electronic device according to one embodiment. FIG. 4B is an example of an antenna structure related to multiple communication methods in an electronic device according to one embodiment. For example, the electronic device (101) of FIG. 3, FIG. 4A, or FIG. 4B may be at least partially similar to the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1 or FIG. 2, or may further include other embodiments of the electronic device.

[0071] According to one embodiment with reference to FIGS. 3, 4A, and 4B, the electronic device (101) may include at least one of a processor (e.g., including a processing circuit) (300), a first communication circuit (310), a second communication circuit (320), or a memory (330). According to one embodiment, the processor (300) may be substantially the same as the processor (120) (e.g., an application processor) of FIG. 1 , or may be included in the processor (120). At least one of the first communication circuit (310) or the second communication circuit (320) may be substantially the same as the wireless communication module (192) of FIG. 1 , or may be included in the wireless communication module (192). The memory (330) may be substantially the same as the memory (130) of FIG. 1 , or may be included in the memory (130). According to one embodiment, the processor (300) may include various processing circuits and / or a plurality of processors. For example, the processor (300) may include various processing circuits including at least one processor. The one or more processors may be configured to perform various functions individually and / or collectively in a distributed manner. When "processor," "at least one processor," and "one or more processors" are used in one embodiment of the present document and are described as being configured to perform multiple functions, this includes, but is not limited to, a situation where one processor performs some of the recited functions and another processor performs other of the recited functions, and a situation where a single processor can perform all of the recited functions. Furthermore, the at least one processor may include a combination of processors that perform various functions in a distributed manner. The at least one processor may execute program instructions to perform the various functions.

[0072] According to one embodiment, the processor (300) can control at least one of a first communication circuit (310), a second communication circuit (320), or a memory (330) that is operatively, functionally, and / or electrically connected.

[0073] According to one embodiment, the first communication circuit (310) may perform at least one of transmitting or receiving at least one of a signal or data to or from an external electronic device (e.g., electronic device (102 or 104) of FIG. 1) based on a first communication method. For example, the first communication method may include a wireless LAN communication method (e.g., Wi-Fi) that supports a specified frequency band.

[0074] According to one embodiment, the second communication circuit (320) may perform at least one of transmitting or receiving at least one of a signal or data to or from an external electronic device (e.g., electronic device (102 or 104) of FIG. 1) based on a second communication method. For example, the second communication method may include an ultra-wide band (UWB) communication method that supports at least a portion of a designated frequency band.

[0075] According to one embodiment, the first communication circuit (310) and the second communication circuit (320) can perform wireless communication through a plurality of different antennas, as shown in FIG. 4A. For example, the first communication circuit (310) can perform at least one of transmitting or receiving at least one of a signal or data with an external electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (102 or 104) of FIG. 1) based on a first communication method through the plurality of antennas (400) (e.g., the first antenna (220) and the second antenna (222) of FIG. 2). For example, the second communication circuit (320) can perform at least one of transmitting or receiving at least one of a signal or data with an external electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (102 or 104) of FIG. 1) based on a second communication method through the plurality of antennas (410) (e.g., the third antenna (230) of FIG. 2). For example, some of the plurality of antennas (400) associated with the first communication method and some of the plurality of antennas (410) associated with the second communication method may be arranged adjacently. For example, the adjacently arranged antennas may include antennas that are arranged within a physically designated distance and thus cause interference with each other. For example, the designated distance may include the minimum distance at which the antennas are determined not to be affected by interference.

[0076] According to one embodiment, the first communication circuit (310) and the second communication circuit (320) may perform wireless communication by sharing at least one antenna, as shown in FIG. 4B. For example, the first communication circuit (310) may perform at least one of transmission or reception of at least one signal or data with an external electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (102 or 104) of FIG. 1) based on the first communication method through at least one of the first antenna (401) (e.g., the first antenna (220) of FIG. 2) or the second antenna (402) (e.g., the second antenna (222) of FIG. 2). For example, the second antenna (402) may be connected to the first communication circuit (310) through the antenna connection circuit (430). For example, the antenna connection circuit (430) can control the connection of at least one of the first communication circuit (310) or the second communication circuit (320) and the second antenna (402). For example, the antenna connection circuit (430) can include a switch (e.g., a single pole double throw (SPDT)) or a divider. For example, the second communication circuit (320) can perform at least one of transmission or reception of at least one of a signal or data to an external electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (102 or 104) of FIG. 1) based on the second communication method through at least one of the first communication circuit (310) (e.g., the third antenna (230) of FIG. 2) or the second antenna (402). For example, the second antenna (402) can be connected to the second communication circuit (320) through the antenna connection circuit (430).

[0077] According to one embodiment, the first communication circuit (310) and the second communication circuit (320) can perform at least one of transmitting or receiving at least one of a signal or data. For example, the first communication circuit (310) and the second communication circuit (320) can communicate via a general purpose input and output (GPIO) method. For example, the first communication circuit (310) and the second communication circuit (320) can communicate via a universal asynchronous receiver / transmitter (UART) method.

[0078] According to one embodiment, the processor (300) may control the first communication circuit (310) to perform wireless communication based on the first communication method. For example, when the processor (300) (e.g., the first communication control module (302)) detects the occurrence of an event related to the first communication method, the processor (300) may control the first communication circuit (310) to perform wireless communication based on the first communication method. For example, the event related to the first communication method may be generated based on at least one of execution of an application program or function related to the first communication method, reception of a user input (e.g., touch input or voice input), reception of a control signal, or detection of a gesture input.

[0079] According to one embodiment, the processor (300) may control the second communication circuit (320) to perform wireless communication based on the second communication method. For example, when the processor (300) (e.g., the second communication control module (304)) detects the occurrence of an event related to the second communication method, the processor (300) may control the second communication circuit (320) to perform wireless communication based on the second communication method. For example, the event related to the second communication method may be generated based on at least one of execution of an application program or function related to the second communication method, reception of a user input (e.g., touch input or voice input), reception of a control signal, or detection of a gesture input.

[0080] According to one embodiment, the first communication control module (302) may control the first communication circuit (310) to perform the first communication of the first communication method within the processor (300). For example, the first communication control module (302) may be configured as a hardware module or a software module. According to one embodiment, the second communication control module (304) may control the second communication circuit (320) to perform the second communication of the second communication method within the processor (300). For example, the second communication control module (304) may be configured as a hardware module or a software module. For example, the first communication control module (302) and the second communication control module (304) may be configured within the same chip or within different, separate chips.

[0081] According to one embodiment, the first communication control module (302) and the second communication control module (304) may exchange information via a service interface or a software interface. For example, the first communication control module (302) and the second communication control module (304) may exchange information by adding a function to a source file related to at least one of the first communication method or the second communication method or by calling a specific service.

[0082] According to one embodiment, when the processor (300) determines that the first communication of the first communication method and the second communication of the second communication method are performed simultaneously, the processor (300) may determine a coexistence method related to the first communication method and the second communication method. For example, when the second communication of the second communication method is performed (or the second communication is activated), the second communication control module (304) may transmit information related to the second communication to the first communication control module (302). For example, when the second communication control module (304) determines that the first communication control module (302) is performing the first communication of the first communication method, the second communication control module (304) may transmit information related to the second communication to the first communication control module (302). For example, the information related to the second communication may include at least one of an operation channel, an operation duration, or an operation interval for performing the second communication of the second communication method.

[0083] For example, when the first communication control module (302) receives information related to the second communication from the second communication control module (304) while performing the first communication of the first communication method, the first communication control module (302) may select a coexistence method (or wireless LAN control method) based on the information related to the first communication and the second communication. For example, the information related to the first communication may include an operating channel for performing the first communication of the first communication method.

[0084] For example, when the first communication control module (302) is to perform the first communication of the first communication method, it can determine whether the second communication control module (304) is performing the second communication of the second communication method. When the first communication control module (302) determines that the second communication is being performed, it can select a coexistence method (or wireless LAN control method) based on information related to the first communication and the second communication.

[0085] For example, if the first communication control module (302) determines that the first coexistence communication condition (or the first wireless LAN control condition) specified based on the operating channels of the first communication and the second communication is satisfied, the first coexistence method (or the first wireless LAN control method) may be selected. For example, a state in which the specified first coexistence communication condition is satisfied may include a state in which the operating channel of the first communication and the operating channel of the second communication overlap. For example, a state in which the specified first coexistence communication condition is not satisfied may include a state in which the operating channel of the first communication and the operating channel of the second communication do not overlap.

[0086] For example, if the first communication control module (302) determines that the second coexistence communication condition (or the second wireless LAN control condition) specified based on the operating channels of the first communication and the second communication is satisfied, the first communication control module (302) may select the second coexistence method (or the second wireless LAN control method) or the third coexistence method (or the third wireless LAN control method). For example, a state in which the specified second coexistence communication condition is satisfied may include a state in which the operating channel of the first communication and the operating channel of the second communication are adjacent, and an antenna associated with the first communication method and an antenna associated with the second communication method are adjacent. For example, a state in which the specified second coexistence communication condition is not satisfied may include a state in which the operating channel of the first communication and the operating channel of the second communication are not adjacent, or an antenna associated with the first communication method and an antenna associated with the second communication method are not adjacent. For example, the adjacent channels may include channels that are confirmed to have an interference effect on each other. For example, adjacent antennas may be placed within a physically specified distance and may include antennas that interfere with each other.

[0087] For example, if the first communication control module (302) determines that the specified second coexistence communication condition (or the second wireless LAN control condition) is satisfied, the first communication control module (302) may select the second coexistence method (or the second wireless LAN control method) or the third coexistence method (or the third wireless LAN control method) based on information related to the second communication. For example, the second coexistence method (or the second wireless LAN control method) may be selected when the operation time of the second communication is less than or equal to the specified first reference time. For example, the third coexistence method (or the third wireless LAN control method) may be selected when the operation time of the second communication exceeds the specified first reference time. For example, the operation time of the second communication may be confirmed based on at least one of the operation section or the operation cycle of the second communication. For example, the specified first reference time may be fixed to or changed as a reference time set for selecting the second coexistence method or the third coexistence method.

[0088] According to one embodiment, the processor (300) may transmit information related to a coexistence method (or wireless LAN control method) determined based on information related to the first communication and the second communication to at least one of the first communication circuit (310) and the second communication circuit (320). For example, the first communication control module (302) may transmit information related to the coexistence method to the first communication circuit (310). If the first communication control module (302) accepts the use of the coexistence method, the second communication control module (304) may transmit coexistence indication information to the second communication circuit (320). For example, the information related to the coexistence method may include identification information of the coexistence method and activation information of the coexistence method. For example, the coexistence indication information may include information related to the start of coexistence of the first communication and the second communication.

[0089] For example, the second communication circuit (320) may transmit information related to the performance of the second communication to the first communication circuit (310) at a time earlier than a second reference time specified before the start time of the second communication (e.g., ranging) of the second communication method based on the reception of coexistence indication information. As an example, the information related to the performance of the second communication may include a first GPIO set to a first value (e.g., 'high').

[0090] For example, the first communication circuit (310) may determine that the coexistence function is activated based on reception of coexistence indication information. The first communication circuit (310) may perform an operation corresponding to the coexistence method based on reception of information related to performing the second communication of the second communication method in a state where the coexistence function is activated. For example, the first communication circuit (310) may perform an operation corresponding to the coexistence method within a designated third reference time from the time of receiving the information related to performing the second communication. For example, the designated third reference time may include a reference time indicating a time point at which the second communication is performed in the second communication circuit (320). For example, the first communication circuit (310) may deactivate (e.g., disable) (or stop) the transmission and reception operations of the first communication based on the first coexistence method (or the first wireless LAN control method). For example, the first communication circuit (310) can disable (or stop) the transmission operation of the first communication based on the second coexistence scheme. The first communication circuit (310) can perform (or maintain) the reception operation of the first communication in a state in which the transmission operation of the first communication is disabled based on the second coexistence scheme (or the second wireless LAN control scheme). For example, the first communication circuit (310) can disable (or stop) the transmission operation of at least some of the antennas among the plurality of antennas related to the first communication scheme based on the third coexistence scheme (or the third wireless LAN control scheme). The first communication circuit (310) can perform (or maintain) at least one of the reception operation of the first communication through the plurality of antennas or the transmission operation of the remaining antennas excluding at least one antenna among the plurality of antennas in a state in which the transmission operation of at least one antenna is disabled based on the third coexistence scheme. For example, at least some of the antennas may include an antenna adjacent to at least one antenna associated with a second communication method among a plurality of antennas associated with the first communication method.

[0091] For example, the first communication circuit (310) may transmit information related to performing an operation corresponding to a coexistence mode (or a wireless LAN control mode) to the second communication circuit (320). As an example, the information related to performing an operation corresponding to the coexistence mode may include a second GPIO set to a second value (e.g., 'low').

[0092] For example, the second communication circuit (320) may perform the second communication (e.g., ranging) based on the transmission of information related to the performance of the second communication of the second communication method. For example, the second communication circuit (320) may perform the second communication when a designated third reference time has elapsed from the time of transmission of the information related to the performance of the second communication. For example, the second communication circuit (320) may perform the second communication based on the reception of information related to the performance of an operation corresponding to the coexistence method from the first communication circuit (310).

[0093] For example, when the operation duration of the second communication (e.g., ranging) expires, the second communication circuit (320) may transmit information related to the termination of the second communication of the second communication method to the first communication circuit (310). As an example, the information related to the termination of the second communication may include the first GPIO set to a second value (e.g., 'low').

[0094] For example, the first communication circuit (310) may terminate an operation corresponding to a coexistence mode (or wireless LAN control mode) based on the reception of information related to the termination of the second communication. For example, the first communication circuit (310) may resume transmission and reception operations of the first communication based on the first coexistence mode. For example, the first communication circuit (310) may resume transmission operations of the first communication based on the second coexistence mode. For example, the first communication circuit (310) may resume transmission operations of at least some of the plurality of antennas related to the first communication mode based on the third coexistence mode.

[0095] For example, when the coexistence mode (or wireless LAN control mode) is activated, the first communication circuit (310) can selectively perform an operation corresponding to the coexistence mode based on the performance of the second communication in the second communication circuit (320).

[0096] According to one embodiment, the processor (300) may control the first communication circuit (310) to operate in a coexistence mode (or wireless LAN control mode) determined based on information related to the first communication and the second communication. For example, the processor (300) (e.g., the first communication control module (302)) may transmit information related to the performance of the coexistence mode to the first communication circuit (310). The first communication circuit (310) may perform an operation corresponding to the coexistence mode based on the information related to the performance of the coexistence mode received from the processor (300) (e.g., the first communication control module (302)). For example, when the coexistence mode is activated, the first communication circuit (310) may continuously perform an operation corresponding to the coexistence mode.

[0097] According to one embodiment, the processor (300) may control at least one of the first communication circuit (310) or the second communication circuit (320) to deactivate the coexistence mode. For example, when the second communication control module (304) terminates the second communication of the second communication mode, the second communication control module (304) may transmit information related to the termination of the second communication mode to the first communication control module (302). The first communication control module (302) may determine that the coexistence mode is deactivated based on the information related to the termination of the second communication mode. The first communication control module (302) may transmit information related to the deactivation of the coexistence mode to the first communication circuit (310). The first communication control module (302) may transmit information related to the deactivation of the coexistence mode to the second communication circuit (320) via the second communication control module (304).

[0098] For example, the second communication circuit (320) may disable (or suspend) transmission of information related to the performance or termination of the second communication based on information related to the deactivation of the coexistence mode. For example, the first communication circuit (310) may disable (or suspend) performance of an operation corresponding to the coexistence mode based on information related to the deactivation of the coexistence mode.

[0099] According to one embodiment, the memory (330) can store various data used by at least one component of the electronic device (101) (e.g., the processor (300), the first communication circuit (310), or the second communication circuit (320)). For example, the memory (330) can store various instructions that can be executed by the processor (300).

[0100] According to one embodiment, the coexistence scheme associated with the first communication method and the second communication method may be determined not only through the first communication control module (302), but also through the processor (300), the second communication control module (304), or a separate circuit.

[0101] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., an electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, FIG. 2 or FIG. 3) includes a first communication circuit (e.g., a wireless communication module (192) of FIG. 1 or a first communication circuit (310) of FIG. 3) that performs wireless LAN communication through a plurality of first antennas (e.g., a plurality of antennas (400) of FIG. 4a or FIG. 4b) and a second communication circuit (e.g., a wireless communication module (192) of FIG. 1 or a second communication circuit (320) of FIG. 3) that performs ultra-wide band (UWB) communication through a plurality of second antennas (e.g., a plurality of antennas (410) of FIG. 4a or FIG. 4b), at least one processor (e.g., a processor (120) of FIG. 1 or a processor (300) of FIG. 3)) that is operatively connected to the first communication circuit and the second communication circuit and includes a processing circuit, and a memory (e.g., a processor (120) of FIG. 1 or a processor (300) of FIG. 3)) that is operatively connected to the at least one processor. 1 or the memory (330) of FIG. 3). According to one embodiment, the memory may store instructions that, when executed individually or collectively by at least one processor, cause the electronic device to identify an operating channel of wireless LAN communication performed through the first communication circuit. According to one embodiment, the memory may store instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the electronic device to identify an operating channel of UWB communication performed through the second communication circuit. According to one embodiment, the memory may store instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the electronic device to control the first communication circuit to deactivate a transmission operation of wireless LAN communication using at least one of a plurality of first antennas based on performance of UWB communication when UWB communication is activated and the operating channels of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication are different.

[0102] According to one embodiment, a transmission operation of wireless LAN communication using at least one antenna among the plurality of first antennas can be deactivated while a reception operation of wireless LAN communication using at least one antenna among the plurality of first antennas is activated.

[0103] According to one embodiment, the plurality of first antennas may include a first wireless LAN antenna and a second wireless LAN antenna disposed at a distance greater than a distance between the first wireless LAN antenna and the UWB antenna used for UWB communication among the plurality of second antennas.

[0104] According to one embodiment, at least one antenna with a disabled transmitting operation may correspond to a first wireless LAN antenna.

[0105] According to one embodiment, at least one remaining antenna, excluding at least one antenna among the plurality of first antennas, can maintain a transmission operation of wireless LAN communication while the transmission operation of wireless LAN communication through at least one antenna is disabled.

[0106] According to one embodiment, at least one remaining antenna, where the transmitting operation is maintained, may correspond to a second wireless LAN antenna.

[0107] According to one embodiment, the memory may store instructions that, when executed individually or collectively by at least one processor, cause the electronic device to transmit information related to control of the wireless LAN communication to the first communication circuit when the UWB communication is activated and the operating channels of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication are different.

[0108] According to one embodiment, when the first communication circuit receives information related to performing UWB communication from the second communication circuit while receiving information related to controlling wireless LAN communication, the second communication circuit may determine that the UWB communication is to be performed.

[0109] According to one embodiment, when the first communication circuit receives information related to the termination of operation of UWB communication from the second communication circuit while the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication through at least one antenna is disabled, the first communication circuit can resume the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication through at least one of the plurality of first antennas.

[0110] According to one embodiment, the first communication circuit can receive information related to driving UWB communication from the second communication circuit via a general purpose input and output (GPIO).

[0111] According to one embodiment, the memory may store instructions that, when executed individually or collectively by at least one processor, cause the electronic device to control the first communication circuit to resume transmission operation via at least one of the plurality of first antennas when UWB communication is terminated.

[0112] FIG. 5 is a flowchart (500) for performing multiple communications in an electronic device according to one embodiment. In the following embodiments, the operations may be performed sequentially, but are not necessarily performed sequentially. For example, the order of the operations may be changed, and at least two operations may be performed in parallel. For example, the electronic device (101) of FIG. 5 may be the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, FIG. 2, or FIG. 3.

[0113] According to one embodiment referring to FIG. 5, an electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, FIG. 2, or FIG. 3) or a processor (e.g., the processor (120) of FIG. 1 or the processor (300) of FIG. 3) may perform wireless LAN communication (e.g., first communication of a first communication method) and UWB communication (e.g., second communication of a second communication method) in operation 501. For example, when the processor (300) (e.g., the first communication control module (302)) detects the occurrence of an event related to the first communication method, the processor (300) may control the first communication circuit (310) to perform wireless communication based on the first communication method. For example, the event related to the first communication method may be generated based on at least one of execution of an application program or function related to the first communication method, reception of a user input (e.g., a touch input or a voice input), reception of a control signal, or detection of a gesture input. For example, when the processor (300) (e.g., the second communication control module (304)) detects the occurrence of an event related to the second communication method, the processor (300) may control the second communication circuit (320) to perform wireless communication based on the second communication method. For example, the second communication circuit (320) may activate the second communication (e.g., UWB communication) based on the control of the processor (300) (e.g., the second communication control module (304)). For example, the event related to the second communication method may be generated based on at least one of execution of an application program or function related to the second communication method, reception of a user input (e.g., a touch input or a voice input), reception of a control signal, or detection of a gesture input.

[0114] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) may, in operation 503, check information related to UWB communication. For example, when performing second communication using a second communication method, the second communication control module (304) may transmit information related to the second communication to the first communication control module (302). For example, the information related to the second communication may include at least one of an operation channel, an operation duration, or an operation interval for performing the second communication using the second communication method. For example, the second communication control module (304) may determine information related to the second communication or obtain (or receive) information related to the second communication from the second communication circuit (320).

[0115] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) may, in operation 505, check information related to wireless LAN communication. For example, the information related to the first communication may include an operation channel for performing the first communication of the first communication method.

[0116] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) may determine a coexistence scheme (or a wireless LAN control scheme) based on information related to wireless LAN communication and information related to UWB communication, at operation 507. For example, the first communication control module (302) may select the first coexistence scheme (or the first wireless LAN control scheme) if it is determined that a first coexistence communication condition (or a first wireless LAN control condition) specified based on an operating channel of wireless LAN communication and an operating channel of UWB communication is satisfied. For example, a state in which the specified first coexistence communication condition is satisfied may include a state in which an operating channel of wireless LAN communication and an operating channel of UWB communication overlap. For example, a state in which the specified first coexistence communication condition is not satisfied may include a state in which an operating channel of wireless LAN communication and an operating channel of UWB communication do not overlap.

[0117] For example, if the first communication control module (302) determines that the second coexistence communication condition (or the second wireless LAN control condition) specified based on the operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and the operating channel of the UWB communication is satisfied, the first communication control module (302) may select the second coexistence method (or the second wireless LAN control method) or the third coexistence method (or the third wireless LAN control method). For example, a state in which the specified second coexistence communication condition is satisfied may include a state in which the operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and the operating channel of the UWB communication are adjacent, and an antenna related to the wireless LAN communication method and an antenna related to the UWB communication method are adjacent. For example, a state in which the specified second coexistence communication condition is not satisfied may include a state in which the operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and the operating channel of the UWB communication are not adjacent, or an antenna related to the wireless LAN communication method and an antenna related to the UWB communication method are not adjacent. For example, the adjacent channels may include channels that are confirmed to have an interference effect on each other. For example, adjacent antennas may be placed within a physically specified distance and may include antennas that interfere with each other.

[0118] For example, the first communication control module (302) may select the second coexistence mode (or the second wireless LAN control mode) or the third coexistence mode (or the third wireless LAN control mode) based on the operating time of the UWB communication. For example, the second coexistence mode may be selected when the operating time of the UWB communication is less than or equal to a specified first reference time. For example, the third coexistence mode may be selected when the operating time of the UWB communication exceeds the specified first reference time. For example, the operating time of the UWB communication may be confirmed based on at least one of an operating section or an operating cycle of the UWB communication.

[0119] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) may control wireless LAN communication based on a coexistence scheme (or wireless LAN control scheme) at operation 509. For example, a first communication control module (302) may transmit information related to a coexistence scheme to a first communication circuit (310). A second communication control module (304) may transmit coexistence indication information to a second communication circuit (320) when the first communication control module (302) accepts the use of a coexistence scheme. For example, the information related to a coexistence scheme may include identification information of the coexistence scheme and activation information of the coexistence scheme.

[0120] For example, the second communication circuit (320) may transmit information related to the performance of UWB communication to the first communication circuit (310) at a time earlier than a second reference time specified before the start time of UWB communication (e.g., ranging) based on the reception of coexistence indication information.

[0121] For example, the first communication circuit (310) can perform an operation corresponding to a coexistence method based on the reception of information related to the performance of UWB communication.

[0122] For example, when the first coexistence method is selected, the first communication circuit (310) can disable (or stop) transmission and reception operations of wireless LAN communication while UWB communication is performed.

[0123] For example, when the second coexistence method is selected, the first communication circuit (310) can disable (or stop) the transmission operation of wireless LAN communication while UWB communication is performed. For example, the reception operation of wireless LAN communication can be performed (or maintained) while the transmission operation of wireless LAN communication is disabled.

[0124] For example, when the third coexistence method is selected, the first communication circuit (310) may disable (or stop) the transmission operation of wireless LAN communication of at least some of the antennas among the plurality of antennas related to the wireless LAN communication method. For example, the reception operation of wireless LAN communication may be performed (or maintained) in a state in which the transmission operation of wireless LAN communication of at least some of the antennas is disabled. For example, the transmission operation of the remaining antennas excluding at least some of the plurality of antennas may be performed (or maintained) in a state in which the transmission operation of wireless LAN communication of at least some of the antennas is disabled.

[0125] FIG. 6 is a flowchart (600) for coexistence of multiple communications in an electronic device according to one embodiment. For example, at least a portion of FIG. 6 may include detailed operations of operations 507 and 509 of FIG. 5 . In the following embodiments, the operations may be performed sequentially, but are not necessarily sequentially. For example, the order of the operations may be changed, and at least two operations may be performed in parallel. For example, the electronic device (101) of FIG. 6 may be the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1 , FIG. 2 , or FIG. 3 .

[0126] According to one embodiment referring to FIG. 6, when an electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, FIG. 2 or FIG. 3) or a processor (e.g., the processor (120) of FIG. 1 or the processor (300) of FIG. 3) obtains information related to wireless LAN communication and UWB communication (e.g., operations 503 and 505 of FIG. 5), in operation 601, it may determine whether an operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and an operating channel of the UWB communication overlap. For example, when the first communication control module (302) obtains information related to UWB communication from the second communication control module (304), it may determine whether an operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and an operating channel of the UWB communication overlap at least partially.

[0127] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) may select a first coexistence scheme (or a first wireless LAN control scheme) as a coexistence scheme of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication in operation 603 when an operating channel of wireless LAN communication and an operating channel of UWB communication overlap at least partially (e.g., 'yes' in operation 601).

[0128] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) may, at operation 605, disable (or stop) transmission and reception operations of wireless LAN communication during a period of performing UWB communication based on a first coexistence scheme (or a first wireless LAN control scheme). For example, the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may set a power management bit of a quality of service (QoS) related frame (e.g., QoS null frame) to a third value (e.g., '1') and transmit it to an access point (AP). The first communication circuit (310) may stop transmission and reception operations related to the wireless LAN by switching to a low power mode (e.g., power save mode) based on transmission of the QoS related frame including the power management bit set to the third value. For example, the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) can stop transmission and reception operations related to the wireless LAN using a CTS2S (clear to send to self) frame.

[0129] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) may determine whether the operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and the operating channel of the UWB communication are adjacent if the operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and the operating channel of the UWB communication do not overlap (e.g., 'No' in operation 601), in operation 607. For example, the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may determine that the operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and the operating channel of the UWB communication are adjacent if the operating channel of the wireless LAN communication is included in a first frequency band (e.g., about 5 GHz band) and the operating channel of the UWB communication is included in a second frequency band (e.g., about 6 GHz band). For example, the adjacent channels may include channels that are confirmed to have an interference effect with each other.

[0130] According to one embodiment, when an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) determines that an operating channel of wireless LAN communication and an operating channel of UWB communication are not adjacent (e.g., 'No' in operation 607), the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may determine that interference between the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication does not occur when the operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and the operating channel of the UWB communication do not overlap and are not adjacent. The processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may determine not to use a coexistence method of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication based on the determination that interference between the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication does not occur.

[0131] According to one embodiment, when an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) determines that an operating channel of wireless LAN communication and an operating channel of UWB communication are adjacent (e.g., 'Yes' in operation 607), in operation 609, the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may determine whether an antenna related to wireless LAN communication and an antenna related to UWB communication are adjacent. For example, the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may determine whether there is an antenna adjacent to at least one antenna activated for performing UWB communication among a plurality of antennas activated for performing wireless LAN communication. For example, the adjacent antennas may include antennas that are physically arranged within a specified distance and have an effect of interference with each other.

[0132] According to one embodiment, when an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) determines that an antenna related to wireless LAN communication and an antenna related to UWB communication are not adjacent (e.g., 'No' in operation 609), the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may determine that interference between the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication does not occur, and the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may determine not to use a coexistence method of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication based on the determination that interference between the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication does not occur.

[0133] According to one embodiment, when an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) determines that an antenna related to wireless LAN communication and an antenna related to UWB communication are adjacent (e.g., 'Yes' in operation 609), in operation 611, the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may determine whether a second coexistence method (or a second wireless LAN control method) is selected as a coexistence method of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication. For example, when the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) determines that operating channels for wireless LAN communication and UWB communication are adjacent and an antenna related to wireless LAN communication and an antenna related to UWB communication are adjacent, the processor may determine (or estimate) an operating time of the UWB communication based on information related to the UWB communication (e.g., an operating section and / or an operating cycle of the UWB communication). For example, the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may select the second coexistence method (or the second wireless LAN control method) when the operating time of the UWB communication is less than or equal to the first reference time. For example, the second coexistence method (or the second wireless LAN control method) may be selected because it is determined that disabling the transmission operation of the first communication method during the operating time of the UWB communication has a relatively small impact on the deterioration of the communication quality of the first communication method when the operating time of the UWB communication is less than or equal to the first reference time. For example, the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may select the third coexistence method (or the third wireless LAN control method) when the operating time of the UWB communication exceeds the first reference time. For example, the third coexistence method (or third wireless LAN control method) may be selected based on the judgment that it has a relatively large impact on the degradation of communication quality of the first communication method based on disabling the transmission operation of the first communication method during the operation time of the UWB communication when the operation time of the UWB communication exceeds a specified first reference time.

[0134] According to one embodiment, when the second coexistence scheme (or the second wireless LAN control scheme) is selected (e.g., 'Yes' in operation 611), in operation 613, the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101)) or the processor (e.g., the processor (120 or 300)) may disable (or stop) the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication during the execution period of the UWB communication based on the second coexistence scheme (or the second wireless LAN control scheme). For example, the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may control the first communication circuit (310) to disable (or stop) the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication during the execution period of the UWB communication based on the second coexistence scheme. The first communication circuit (310) may perform (or maintain) the reception operation of the wireless LAN communication in a state where the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication is disabled.

[0135] According to one embodiment, if the second coexistence scheme is not selected (e.g., 'No' in operation 611), in operation 615, the electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or the processor (e.g., processor (120 or 300)) may disable (or stop) transmission operations of at least some of the plurality of antennas associated with wireless LAN communication during the UWB communication execution period based on the third coexistence scheme (or the third wireless LAN control scheme). For example, the processor (300) (or the first communication control module (302)) may control the first communication circuit (310) to disable (or stop) transmission operations of at least some of the plurality of antennas associated with wireless LAN communication during the UWB communication execution period based on the third coexistence scheme (or the third wireless LAN control scheme). The first communication circuit (310) can perform (or maintain) a reception operation of wireless LAN communication while the transmission operation of wireless LAN communication through at least some antennas is disabled. The first communication circuit (310) can perform (or maintain) a transmission operation of the remaining antennas among the plurality of antennas related to wireless LAN communication while the transmission operation of wireless LAN communication through at least some antennas is disabled. For example, at least some of the antennas can include an antenna adjacent to at least one antenna related to a second communication method (e.g., UWB communication method) among the plurality of antennas related to the first communication method (e.g., wireless LAN communication method).

[0136] FIG. 7 is a flowchart (700) for performing multiple communications based on a first coexistence scheme in an electronic device according to one embodiment. For example, at least a portion of FIG. 7 may include detailed operations of operation 509 of FIG. 5 or operation 605 of FIG. 6. In the following embodiments, the respective operations may be performed sequentially, but are not necessarily performed sequentially. For example, the order of the respective operations may be changed, and at least two operations may be performed in parallel. For example, the electronic device (101) of FIG. 7 may be the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, FIG. 2, or FIG. 3. For example, at least a portion of FIG. 7 may be described with reference to FIG. 8. FIG. 8 is an example for performing multiple communications based on a first coexistence scheme in an electronic device according to one embodiment.

[0137] According to one embodiment referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, an electronic device (e.g., an electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, 2 or 3) or a first communication circuit (e.g., a wireless communication module (192) of FIG. 1 or a first communication circuit (310) of FIG. 3) may obtain information related to a first coexistence scheme (or a first wireless LAN control scheme) in operation 701. For example, when performing UWB communication, the second communication control module (304) may transmit a coexistence request signal (e.g., coex request = 1) (800) to the first communication control module (302). The first communication control module (302) may determine whether to perform a coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication based on the coexistence request signal received from the second communication control module (304). If the first communication control module (302) determines that coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication is to be performed, it may transmit coexistence acceptance information (e.g., accept) (802) to the second communication control module (304). For example, the coexistence request signal may include information related to UWB communication.

[0138] For example, if the first communication control module (302) determines that coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication is to be performed, the first communication control module (302) may select a coexistence method of the wireless LAN communication and UWB communication based on information related to the wireless LAN communication and UWB communication. For example, the first communication control module (302) may select the first coexistence method if at least a portion of the operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and the operating channel of the UWB communication overlap.

[0139] For example, the first communication control module (302) may transmit information related to a coexistence method of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication (e.g., a first coexistence method) to the first communication circuit (310). For example, the second communication control module (304) may transmit coexistence indication information to the second communication circuit (320) based on coexistence acceptance information (e.g., accept) (802).

[0140] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) may determine, in operation 703, whether information related to performing UWB communication is received. For example, the information related to performing UWB communication may include a first GPIO set to a first value (e.g., 'high') of FIG. 8.

[0141] According to one embodiment, when the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101)) or the first communication circuit (e.g., the wireless communication module (192) or the first communication circuit (310)) does not receive information related to performing UWB communication (e.g., 'No' in operation 703), in operation 703, the first communication circuit (310) may determine whether information related to performing UWB communication is received. For example, when the first communication circuit (310) determines that the second communication circuit (320) is performing UWB communication, the first communication circuit (310) may continuously or periodically determine whether information related to performing UWB communication is received.

[0142] According to one embodiment, when an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) receives information related to performing UWB communication (e.g., 'Yes' in operation 703), in operation 705, the first communication circuit (310) may stop (or deactivate) wireless LAN communication. For example, the first communication circuit (310) may determine whether information related to performing UWB communication is received from a second communication circuit (320) while performing wireless LAN communication based on reception of information related to the first coexistence method.

[0143] For example, the second communication circuit (320) may transmit information related to the performance of UWB communication to the first communication circuit (310) at a time point (806) earlier than a second reference time (e.g., UWBCX_PRERATE_TIME) specified before the start time point (804) of UWB communication (e.g., ranging) based on reception of coexistence indication information. As an example, the information related to the performance of UWB communication may include a first GPIO set to a first value (e.g., 'high').

[0144] For example, when the first communication circuit (310) receives information related to performing UWB communication while performing wireless LAN communication, the first communication circuit (310) may stop (or deactivate) the transmission and reception operations of the wireless LAN communication based on the first coexistence method. For example, the first communication circuit (310) may perform an operation corresponding to the first coexistence method within a designated third reference time from the time of receiving the information related to performing UWB communication. For example, the designated third reference time may include a time that is equal to or shorter than the designated second reference time as a reference time indicating the start time of performing UWB communication in the second communication circuit (320).

[0145] For example, the first communication circuit (310) may transmit information related to performing an operation corresponding to the first coexistence mode to the second communication circuit (320). As an example, the information related to performing an operation corresponding to the first coexistence mode may include a second GPIO set to a second value (e.g., 'low').

[0146] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) may determine, in operation 707, whether information related to the termination of performing UWB communication is received.

[0147] According to one embodiment, if the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101)) or the first communication circuit (e.g., the wireless communication module (192) or the first communication circuit (310)) does not receive information related to the termination of the UWB communication (e.g., 'No' in operation 707), in operation 705, the wireless LAN communication may be maintained suspended (or deactivated). For example, if the first communication circuit (310) determines that the UWB communication is being performed and the information related to the termination of the UWB communication is not received while the wireless LAN communication is suspended based on the first coexistence method, the first communication circuit (310) may determine that the UWB communication is being performed and maintain the suspended state of the wireless LAN communication.

[0148] According to one embodiment, when an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) receives information related to the termination of performing UWB communication (e.g., 'Yes' in operation 707), in operation 709, the wireless LAN communication may be resumed. For example, the second communication circuit (320) may perform UWB communication (e.g., ranging) based on transmission of information related to performing UWB communication. For example, the UWB communication may be performed when a designated third reference time elapses from the time of transmitting the information related to performing UWB communication. For example, the UWB communication may be performed based on reception of information related to performing an operation corresponding to a coexistence scheme from the first communication circuit (310).

[0149] For example, when the operation duration of UWB communication (e.g., ranging) expires (810), the second communication circuit (320) may transmit information related to the termination of the UWB communication to the first communication circuit (310). As an example, the information related to the termination of the UWB communication may include the first GPIO set to a second value (e.g., 'low').

[0150] For example, when the first communication circuit (310) receives information related to the termination of UWB communication (812), it can resume transmission and reception operations of wireless LAN communication.

[0151] According to one embodiment, the first communication circuit (310) can selectively perform an operation corresponding to the first coexistence mode based on the performance of UWB communication in the second communication circuit (320) when the first coexistence mode is activated.

[0152] According to one embodiment, when the second communication control module (304) terminates the UWB communication, it may transmit information related to the termination of the UWB communication (e.g., coex request = 0) (820) to the first communication control module (302). The first communication control module (302) may determine whether to terminate the coexistence operation of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication based on the information related to the termination of the UWB communication method. When the first communication control module (302) determines that the coexistence operation of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication is to be terminated, it may transmit coexistence operation termination acceptance information (e.g., accept or ACK) (822) to the second communication control module (304).

[0153] For example, the first communication control module (302) can transmit information related to the termination of coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication to the first communication circuit (310). The first communication circuit (310) can deactivate (or stop) the performance of an operation corresponding to the first coexistence method based on the information related to the termination of the coexistence operation.

[0154] For example, the second communication control module (304) may transmit coexistence termination information to the second communication circuit (320) based on coexistence operation termination acceptance information (e.g., accept) (822). The second communication circuit (320) may disable (or stop) transmission of information related to performing or terminating UWB communication based on the coexistence termination information.

[0155] FIG. 9 is a flowchart (900) for performing multiple communications based on a second coexistence scheme in an electronic device according to one embodiment. For example, at least a portion of FIG. 9 may include detailed operations of operation 509 of FIG. 5 or operation 613 of FIG. 6. In the following embodiments, the respective operations may be performed sequentially, but are not necessarily performed sequentially. For example, the order of the respective operations may be changed, and at least two operations may be performed in parallel. For example, the electronic device (101) of FIG. 9 may be the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, FIG. 2, or FIG. 3. For example, at least a portion of FIG. 9 may be described with reference to FIG. 10. FIG. 10 is an example for performing multiple communications based on a second coexistence scheme in an electronic device according to one embodiment.

[0156] According to one embodiment referring to FIGS. 9 and 10, an electronic device (e.g., an electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, 2 or 3) or a first communication circuit (e.g., a wireless communication module (192) of FIG. 1 or a first communication circuit (310) of FIG. 3) may obtain information related to a second coexistence scheme (or a second wireless LAN control scheme) in operation 901. For example, when performing UWB communication, the second communication control module (304) may transmit a coexistence request signal (e.g., coex request = 1) (1000) to the first communication control module (302). The first communication control module (302) may determine whether to perform a coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication based on the coexistence request signal received from the second communication control module (304). If the first communication control module (302) determines that coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication is to be performed, it may transmit coexistence acceptance information (e.g., accept) (1002) to the second communication control module (304). For example, the coexistence request signal may include information related to UWB communication.

[0157] For example, if the first communication control module (302) determines that coexistence operations of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication are to be performed, the first communication control module (302) may select a coexistence method of the wireless LAN communication and UWB communication based on information related to the wireless LAN communication and UWB communication. For example, if an operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and an operating channel of the UWB communication are adjacent, and an antenna related to the wireless LAN communication and an antenna related to the UWB communication are adjacent, the first communication control module (302) may select a second coexistence method. For example, the second coexistence method may be selected when the operating time of the UWB communication is less than or equal to a specified first reference time.

[0158] For example, the first communication control module (302) may transmit information related to a coexistence method of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication (e.g., a second coexistence method) to the first communication circuit (310). For example, the second communication control module (304) may transmit coexistence indication information to the second communication circuit (320) based on coexistence acceptance information (e.g., accept) (1002).

[0159] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) may determine, in operation 903, whether information related to performing UWB communication is received. For example, the information related to performing UWB communication may include a first GPIO set to a first value (e.g., 'high') of FIG. 10.

[0160] According to one embodiment, when the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101)) or the first communication circuit (e.g., the wireless communication module (192) or the first communication circuit (310)) does not receive information related to performing UWB communication (e.g., 'No' in operation 903), in operation 903, the first communication circuit (310) may determine whether information related to performing UWB communication is received. For example, when the first communication circuit (310) determines that the second communication circuit (320) is performing UWB communication, the first communication circuit (310) may continuously or periodically determine whether information related to performing UWB communication is received.

[0161] According to one embodiment, when an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) receives information related to performing UWB communication (e.g., 'Yes' in operation 903), in operation 905, the first communication circuit (310) may stop (or deactivate) a transmission operation of wireless LAN communication. For example, when the first communication circuit (310) receives information related to a second coexistence method, the first communication circuit (310) may determine whether information related to performing UWB communication is received from a second communication circuit (320) while performing wireless LAN communication.

[0162] For example, the second communication circuit (320) may transmit information related to the performance of UWB communication to the first communication circuit (310) at a time point (1006) earlier than a second reference time (e.g., UWBCX_PRERATE_TIME) specified before the start time point (1004) of UWB communication (e.g., ranging) based on reception of coexistence indication information. As an example, the information related to the performance of UWB communication may include a first GPIO set to a first value (e.g., 'high').

[0163] For example, if the first communication circuit (310) receives information related to performing UWB communication while performing wireless LAN communication, the first communication circuit (310) may stop (or deactivate) the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication based on the second coexistence method. For example, the first communication circuit (310) may stop the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication based on the second coexistence method within a designated third reference time from the time of receiving the information related to performing UWB communication. For example, the reception operation of the wireless LAN communication may be performed (or maintained) in a state in which the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication is stopped based on the second coexistence method.

[0164] For example, the first communication circuit (310) may transmit information related to performing an operation corresponding to the second coexistence mode to the second communication circuit (320). As an example, the information related to performing an operation corresponding to the second coexistence mode may include a second GPIO set to a second value (e.g., 'low').

[0165] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) may determine, in operation 907, whether information related to the termination of performing UWB communication is received.

[0166] According to one embodiment, if the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101)) or the first communication circuit (e.g., the wireless communication module (192) or the first communication circuit (310)) does not receive information related to the termination of the UWB communication (e.g., 'No' in operation 907), in operation 905, the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication may be maintained suspended (or deactivated). For example, if the first communication circuit (310) has suspended the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication based on the second coexistence method and information related to the termination of the UWB communication is not received, the first communication circuit (310) may determine that the UWB communication is being performed and maintain the suspended state of the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication.

[0167] According to one embodiment, when an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) receives information related to the termination of performing UWB communication (e.g., 'Yes' in operation 907), in operation 909, the electronic device may resume a transmission operation of wireless LAN communication. For example, the second communication circuit (320) may perform UWB communication (e.g., ranging) based on transmission of information related to performing UWB communication. For example, the UWB communication may be performed when a designated third reference time elapses from the time of transmitting information related to performing UWB communication. For example, the UWB communication may be performed based on reception of information related to performing an operation corresponding to a coexistence scheme from the first communication circuit (310).

[0168] For example, the second communication circuit (320) may transmit information related to the termination of the UWB communication to the first communication circuit (310) when the operation duration of the UWB communication (e.g., ranging) expires (1010). As an example, the information related to the termination of the UWB communication may include the first GPIO set to a second value (e.g., 'low').

[0169] For example, when the first communication circuit (310) receives information related to the termination of UWB communication (1012), it can resume the transmission operation of wireless LAN communication.

[0170] According to one embodiment, when the second coexistence mode is activated, the first communication circuit (310) can selectively perform an operation corresponding to the second coexistence mode based on the performance of UWB communication in the second communication circuit (320).

[0171] According to one embodiment, when the second communication control module (304) terminates the UWB communication, it can transmit information related to the termination of the UWB communication (e.g., coex request = 0) (1020) to the first communication control module (302). The first communication control module (302) can determine whether to terminate the coexistence operation of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication based on the information related to the termination of the UWB communication method. When the first communication control module (302) determines that the coexistence operation of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication is to be terminated, it can transmit information on acceptance of termination of the coexistence operation (e.g., accept) (1022) to the second communication control module (304).

[0172] For example, the first communication control module (302) can transmit information related to the termination of the coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication to the first communication circuit (310). The first communication circuit (310) can deactivate (or stop) the performance of an operation corresponding to the second coexistence method based on the information related to the termination of the coexistence operation.

[0173] For example, the second communication control module (304) may transmit coexistence termination information to the second communication circuit (320) based on coexistence operation termination acceptance information (e.g., accept or ACK) (1022). The second communication circuit (320) may disable (or stop) transmission of information related to performing or terminating UWB communication based on the coexistence termination information.

[0174] FIG. 11 is a flowchart (1100) for performing multiple communications based on a third coexistence scheme in an electronic device according to one embodiment. For example, at least a portion of FIG. 11 may include detailed operations of operation 509 of FIG. 5 or operation 615 of FIG. 6. In the following embodiments, the respective operations may be performed sequentially, but are not necessarily performed sequentially. For example, the order of the respective operations may be changed, and at least two operations may be performed in parallel. For example, the electronic device (101) of FIG. 11 may be the electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, FIG. 2, or FIG. 3. For example, at least a portion of FIG. 11 may be described with reference to FIG. 12. FIG. 12 is an example for performing multiple communications based on a third coexistence scheme in an electronic device according to one embodiment.

[0175] According to one embodiment referring to FIGS. 11 and 12, an electronic device (e.g., an electronic device (101) of FIG. 1, 2 or 3) or a first communication circuit (e.g., a wireless communication module (192) of FIG. 1 or a first communication circuit (310) of FIG. 3) may obtain information related to a third coexistence scheme (or a third wireless LAN control scheme) in operation 1101. For example, when performing UWB communication, the second communication control module (304) may transmit a coexistence request signal (e.g., coex request = 1) (1200) to the first communication control module (302). The first communication control module (302) may determine whether to perform a coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication based on the coexistence request signal received from the second communication control module (304). If the first communication control module (302) determines that coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication is to be performed, it may transmit coexistence acceptance information (e.g., accept) (1202) to the second communication control module (304). For example, the coexistence request signal may include information related to UWB communication.

[0176] For example, if the first communication control module (302) determines that coexistence operations of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication are to be performed, the first communication control module (302) may select a coexistence method of the wireless LAN communication and UWB communication based on information related to the wireless LAN communication and UWB communication. For example, if an operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and an operating channel of the UWB communication are adjacent, and an antenna related to the wireless LAN communication and an antenna related to the UWB communication are adjacent, the first communication control module (302) may select a third coexistence method. For example, the third coexistence method may be selected if the operating time of the UWB communication exceeds a specified first reference time.

[0177] For example, the first communication control module (302) can transmit information related to a coexistence method of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication (e.g., a third coexistence method) to the first communication circuit (310). For example, the second communication control module (304) can transmit coexistence indication information to the second communication circuit (320) based on coexistence acceptance information (e.g., accept) (1202).

[0178] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) may determine, in operation 1103, whether information related to performing UWB communication is received. For example, the information related to performing UWB communication may include a first GPIO set to a first value (e.g., 'high') of FIG. 12.

[0179] According to one embodiment, when the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101)) or the first communication circuit (e.g., the wireless communication module (192) or the first communication circuit (310)) does not receive information related to performing UWB communication (e.g., 'No' in operation 1103), in operation 1103, the first communication circuit (310) may determine whether information related to performing UWB communication is received. For example, when the first communication circuit (310) determines that the second communication circuit (320) is performing UWB communication, the first communication circuit (310) may continuously or periodically determine whether information related to performing UWB communication is received.

[0180] According to one embodiment, when an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) receives information related to performing UWB communication (e.g., 'Yes' in operation 1103), in operation 1105, the first communication circuit (310) may stop (or deactivate) a transmission operation of wireless LAN communication through at least some of a plurality of antennas related to wireless LAN communication. For example, when the first communication circuit (310) receives information related to the third coexistence method, the first communication circuit (310) may determine whether information related to performing UWB communication is received from the second communication circuit (320) while performing wireless LAN communication.

[0181] For example, the second communication circuit (320) may transmit information related to the performance of UWB communication to the first communication circuit (310) at a time point (1206) earlier than a second reference time (e.g., UWBCX_PRERATE_TIME) specified before the start time point (1204) of UWB communication (e.g., ranging) based on reception of coexistence indication information. As an example, the information related to the performance of UWB communication may include a first GPIO set to a first value (e.g., 'high').

[0182] For example, when the first communication circuit (310) receives information related to performing UWB communication during performing wireless LAN communication, the first communication circuit (310) may stop (or deactivate) the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication through at least some of the antennas among the plurality of antennas activated for wireless LAN communication based on the third coexistence method. The first communication circuit (310) may perform (or maintain) at least one of the reception operation of the wireless LAN communication through the plurality of antennas or the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication through the remaining antennas excluding at least one antenna among the plurality of antennas in a state in which the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication through at least one antenna is deactivated based on the third coexistence method. For example, the first communication circuit (310) may perform an operation corresponding to the third coexistence method within a designated third reference time from the time of receiving the information related to performing UWB communication. For example, at least some of the antennas may include an antenna adjacent to at least one antenna related to the second communication method among the plurality of antennas related to wireless LAN communication.

[0183] For example, the first communication circuit (310) may transmit information related to performing an operation corresponding to the third coexistence mode to the second communication circuit (320). As an example, the information related to performing an operation corresponding to the third coexistence mode may include a second GPIO set to a second value (e.g., 'low').

[0184] According to one embodiment, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) may determine, in operation 1107, whether information related to the termination of performance of UWB communication is received.

[0185] According to one embodiment, when the electronic device (e.g., the electronic device (101)) or the first communication circuit (e.g., the wireless communication module (192) or the first communication circuit (310)) does not receive information related to the termination of the UWB communication (e.g., 'No' in operation 1107), in operation 1105, the first communication circuit (310) may maintain a state of stopping (or deactivating) the transmission operation of the wireless LAN communication through at least some of the plurality of antennas related to the communication. For example, when the first communication circuit (310) does not receive information related to the termination of the UWB communication, the first communication circuit (310) may determine that the UWB communication is being performed and maintain an operation corresponding to the third coexistence method.

[0186] According to one embodiment, when an electronic device (e.g., electronic device (101)) or a first communication circuit (e.g., wireless communication module (192) or first communication circuit (310)) receives information related to the termination of performing UWB communication (e.g., 'Yes' in operation 1107), in operation 1109, the electronic device may resume a transmission operation of wireless LAN communication through at least some of the plurality of antennas related to wireless LAN communication.

[0187] For example, the second communication circuit (320) may transmit information related to the termination of the UWB communication to the first communication circuit (310) when the operation duration of the UWB communication (e.g., ranging) expires (1210). As an example, the information related to the termination of the UWB communication may include the first GPIO set to a second value (e.g., 'low').

[0188] For example, when the first communication circuit (310) receives information related to the termination of UWB communication (1212), it can resume transmission operation of wireless LAN communication through at least some of the plurality of antennas related to wireless LAN communication.

[0189] According to one embodiment, when the third coexistence mode is activated, the first communication circuit (310) can selectively perform an operation corresponding to the third coexistence mode based on the performance of UWB communication in the second communication circuit (320).

[0190] According to one embodiment, when the second communication control module (304) terminates the UWB communication, it can transmit information related to the termination of the UWB communication (e.g., coex request = 0) (1220) to the first communication control module (302). The first communication control module (302) can determine whether to terminate the coexistence operation of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication based on the information related to the termination of the UWB communication method. When the first communication control module (302) determines that the coexistence operation of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication is to be terminated, it can transmit information on acceptance of termination of the coexistence operation (e.g., accept or ACK) (1222) to the second communication control module (304).

[0191] For example, the first communication control module (302) may transmit information related to the termination of coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication to the first communication circuit (310). The first communication circuit (310) may deactivate (or stop) the performance of an operation corresponding to the third coexistence method based on the information related to the termination of the coexistence operation.

[0192] For example, the second communication control module (304) may transmit coexistence termination information to the second communication circuit (320) based on coexistence operation termination acceptance information (e.g., accept) (1222). The second communication circuit (320) may disable (or stop) transmission of information related to performing or terminating UWB communication based on the coexistence termination information.

[0193] FIG. 13 is an example of performing multiple communications based on a third coexistence method in an electronic device according to one embodiment.

[0194] According to one embodiment referring to FIG. 13, when performing UWB communication, the second communication control module (304) may transmit a coexistence request signal (e.g., coexistence request = 1) (1300) to the first communication control module (302). The first communication control module (302) may determine whether to perform a coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication based on the coexistence request signal received from the second communication control module (304). When the first communication control module (302) determines to perform a coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication, it may transmit coexistence acceptance information (e.g., accept) (1302) to the second communication control module (304). For example, the coexistence request signal may include information related to UWB communication.

For example, when an operating channel of the wireless LAN communication and an operating channel of the UWB communication are adjacent, and an antenna related to the wireless LAN communication and an antenna related to the UWB communication are adjacent, the first communication control module (302) may select a third coexistence method. For example, the third coexistence method may be selected when the operating time of the UWB communication exceeds a specified first reference time.

[0196] According to one embodiment, the first communication control module (302) may transmit information related to a coexistence method (or a wireless LAN control method) of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication (e.g., a third coexistence method) to the first communication circuit (310). For example, the second communication control module (304) may transmit coexistence indication information to the second communication circuit (320) based on coexistence acceptance information (e.g., accept) (1302).

[0197] According to one embodiment, the first communication circuit (310) may stop (or deactivate) a transmission operation of wireless LAN communication through at least some of the plurality of antennas related to wireless LAN communication based on information related to a coexistence method of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication (e.g., a third coexistence method). For example, when the third coexistence method is activated, the first communication circuit (310) may continuously perform an operation corresponding to the third coexistence method (1310). The first communication circuit (310) may perform (or maintain) at least one of a reception operation of wireless LAN communication through the plurality of antennas or a transmission operation of wireless LAN communication through the remaining antennas excluding at least one antenna among the plurality of antennas in a state in which the transmission operation of wireless LAN communication through at least one antenna is deactivated based on the third coexistence method.

[0198] According to one embodiment, when the second communication control module (304) terminates the UWB communication, it can transmit information related to the termination of the UWB communication (e.g., coex request = 0) (1320) to the first communication control module (302). The first communication control module (302) can determine whether to terminate the coexistence operation of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication based on the information related to the termination of the UWB communication method. When the first communication control module (302) determines to terminate the coexistence operation of the wireless LAN communication and the UWB communication, it can transmit information on acceptance of termination of the coexistence operation (e.g., accept) (1322) to the second communication control module (304).

[0199] For example, the first communication control module (302) may transmit information related to the termination of the coexistence operation of wireless LAN communication and UWB communication to the first communication circuit (310). The first communication circuit (310) may deactivate (or stop) the performance of an operation corresponding to the third coexistence method based on the information related to the termination of the coexistence operation. For example, the first communication circuit (310) may resume the transmission operation of wireless LAN communication through at least some of the plurality of antennas related to wireless LAN communication based on the information related to the termination of the coexistence operation.
