[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the China Patent Office on September 15, 2023, with application number 202311199863.1 and application name “Blood Pressure Measurement Method, System, Electronic Device and Medium”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field
[0002] The present application relates to the technical field of blood pressure measurement, and in particular to a blood pressure measurement method, system, electronic device and medium. Background Art
[0003] With the continuous advancement of technology, wearable devices have become an integral part of people's lives. People are no longer satisfied with simply monitoring time and step counts; instead, they want to use wearable devices to monitor their health indicators. For example, blood pressure is a fundamental physiological indicator and a crucial basis for assessing various diseases. Therefore, wearable devices often integrate blood pressure measurement systems. Unlike traditional cuff-type blood pressure monitors, wearable blood pressure measurement devices have higher requirements for size and power consumption.
[0004] Existing wearable blood pressure measurement devices, such as wrist-based devices, are compact, but their battery capacity and battery life are severely constrained, making it difficult to achieve long-term continuous monitoring. Therefore, it is imperative to reduce the power consumption of wearable blood pressure measurement devices and achieve long or even ultra-long battery life.
[0005] Summary of the Invention
[0006] Embodiments of the present application provide a blood pressure measurement method, system, electronic device, and medium.
[0007] In a first aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a blood pressure measurement method, which is applied to an electronic device, the electronic device including an airbag and an air valve for measuring blood pressure, the method including: the electronic device enters a boost phase of blood pressure measurement, obtains a real-time air pressure value in the airbag; determines a real-time driving voltage of the air valve based on the real-time air pressure value and a first deflation condition; and drives the air valve to operate based on the real-time driving voltage.
[0008] It can be understood that in the boost phase of blood pressure measurement, the present application detects the real-time air pressure value in the airbag through a sensor, and then controls the air valve drive circuit according to the real-time air pressure value, so that the real-time driving voltage applied to the air valve by the air valve drive circuit corresponds to the real-time air pressure value. For example, when the air bag pressure is low, a smaller driving voltage can be used to drive the air valve to work, and when the air bag pressure is high, a larger driving voltage can be used to drive the air valve to work. Among them, the real-time driving voltage can be the lowest driving voltage when the air valve meets the first deflation condition (for example, the deflation volume is 0). In this way, the driving voltage of the air valve is dynamically adjusted during the boost process, so that the air valve can complete the work with less power consumption on the basis of meeting the first deflation condition. In this way, by optimizing the power consumption consumed during each blood pressure measurement process, the endurance of the electronic device can be improved, and the goal of long-term blood pressure monitoring can be achieved.
[0009] In a possible implementation of the first aspect above, the real-time driving voltage of the valve is determined based on the real-time air pressure value and the first deflation condition, including: when the first deflation condition is that the deflation amount of the valve is less than or equal to the first deflation amount, obtaining the corresponding relationship between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure; determining the valve voltage corresponding to the real-time air pressure value based on the corresponding relationship between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure; and determining the valve voltage corresponding to the real-time air pressure value as the real-time driving voltage of the valve.
[0010] Among them, the first air leakage volume can be 0, or a value infinitely close to 0. The air leakage volume of the valve is less than or equal to 0, which can be understood as the valve not leaking. When the valve is required not to leak, the correspondence between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure is obtained. The correspondence between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure indicates the valve voltage corresponding to different airbag pressures, and the valve voltage is the minimum voltage to ensure that the valve does not leak. Therefore, the valve voltage corresponding to the real-time air pressure value can be directly determined from the correspondence between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure, and then determined as the real-time driving voltage of the valve. In this way, during the boost stage of blood pressure measurement, the valve can be made to complete its work with less power while ensuring that the valve does not leak, thereby reducing the power consumption consumed by the blood pressure measurement process.
[0011] In a possible implementation of the first aspect, in the corresponding relationship between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure, as the airbag pressure increases, the valve voltage tends to first decrease and then increase.
[0012] Considering that when the airbag pressure is low, the valve only requires a small magnetic attraction to block the leak hole and prevent the system from leaking. When the airbag pressure is high, the valve requires a larger magnetic attraction to block the leak hole and prevent the system from leaking. Therefore, in the corresponding relationship between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure, the valve voltage first decreases and then increases as the airbag pressure increases. In this way, when the valve drive voltage is dynamically adjusted, the valve drive voltage is first reduced and then increased, which can reduce the valve power loss during the initial inflation period and thus reduce the overall power consumption of the blood pressure measurement system.
[0013] In practice, when calibrating the corresponding relationship between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure, a valve voltage and airbag pressure relationship curve representing the corresponding relationship between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure can be obtained by a curve fitting method.
[0014] In a possible implementation of the first aspect above, the real-time driving voltage of the air valve is determined based on the real-time air pressure value and the first deflation condition, including: when the first deflation condition is that the deflation amount of the air valve is greater than the second deflation amount, obtaining the real-time ideal air pressure value of the airbag; the real-time ideal air pressure value represents the air pressure value corresponding to when the airbag meets the linear pressure increase condition; and determining the real-time driving voltage of the air valve based on the real-time deviation value between the real-time ideal air pressure value and the real-time air pressure value.
[0015] As can be understood, linear pressure increase in the airbag helps improve blood pressure measurement accuracy. This application controls the valve's real-time driving voltage to control the valve's corresponding amount of deflation, ensuring that the airbag meets the linear pressure increase condition. Therefore, the second deflation amount can be 0, or a value as close to 0 as possible. A valve deflation amount greater than 0 can be understood as meaning that the valve's deflation hole is open and the valve is deflation. The valve deflation amount is determined by the valve's driving voltage. The higher the valve's driving voltage, the smaller the deflation amount; the lower the valve's driving voltage, the larger the deflation amount. When the valve's deflation hole is open, the actual deflation amount must ensure that the airbag meets the linear pressure increase condition. Therefore, the valve's driving voltage is controlled by the deviation between the real-time ideal pressure value and the real-time pressure value at which the airbag meets the linear pressure increase condition. This ensures that, at the corresponding real-time driving voltage, the valve operates with minimal power consumption while also ensuring linear pressure increase, helping to improve blood pressure measurement accuracy.
[0016] In a possible implementation of the first aspect above, the electronic device also includes an air pump for measuring blood pressure; determining the real-time driving voltage of the air valve based on the real-time deviation value between the real-time ideal air pressure value and the real-time air pressure value, including: using a proportional-integral-differential control algorithm to determine the real-time driving voltage of the air pump and the real-time driving voltage of the air valve based on the real-time deviation value.
[0017] It is understandable that the air valve is used to deflate the airbag, and the air pump is mainly used to inflate the airbag. During the pressure increase phase, the airbag is inflated by the air pump while being deflated by the air valve. As mentioned above, the airbag can be linearly pressurized by controlling the amount of air deflated by the air valve. In practical applications, the airbag can also be linearly pressurized by simultaneously controlling the amount of air deflated by the air valve and the driving voltage of the air pump. This ensures that the airbag is linearly pressurized while also allowing the air pump to operate in an optimal working state, further improving the power of the air pump and enhancing the inflation efficiency of blood pressure measurement.
[0018] In a possible implementation of the first aspect above, the electronic device also includes a first drive circuit for driving the air pump; the method also includes: controlling the drive voltage of the air pump to be the real-time drive voltage of the air pump through a variable power supply control chip in the first drive circuit.
[0019] As can be understood, the first drive circuit is used to drive the air pump. Through the variable power supply control chip in the first drive circuit, the drive voltage applied to the air pump can be dynamically adjusted during the boost phase, so that the air pump is in the optimal working state and the inflation efficiency is improved.
[0020] In a possible implementation of the first aspect above, obtaining the real-time ideal air pressure value of the airbag includes: obtaining a linear pressure boost curve; the linear pressure boost curve includes ideal air pressure values corresponding to different moments; determining the ideal air pressure value corresponding to the current moment based on the linear pressure boost curve to obtain the real-time ideal air pressure value.
[0021] In a possible implementation of the first aspect above, the electronic device further includes a sensor connected to the airbag air path; obtaining the real-time air pressure value in the airbag includes: detecting the air pressure in the airbag through the sensor to obtain the real-time air pressure value.
[0022] It is understandable that during the pressure boosting phase, in order to obtain accurate real-time air pressure values in a timely manner and dynamically adjust the air valve voltage, the sensor may send the detected air pressure values to the processor in real time.
[0023] The sensor may be a differential pressure sensor, which can directly detect the difference between the air pressure inside the airbag and the air pressure outside the airbag (ie, atmospheric pressure). This difference can more intuitively reflect the degree of expansion of the airbag.
[0024] In a possible implementation of the first aspect above, the electronic device also includes a second drive circuit for driving the gas valve to operate; driving the gas valve to operate according to the real-time drive voltage includes: controlling the drive voltage of the gas valve to be the real-time drive voltage through the variable power supply control chip in the second drive circuit, so that the gas valve deflation volume meets the first deflation condition.
[0025] As will be appreciated, the second drive circuit is used to drive the gas valve. The variable power supply control chip in the second drive circuit dynamically adjusts the drive voltage applied to the gas valve during the boost phase, thereby minimizing power consumption and preventing the valve from deflation, or allowing the valve to deflate to a desired amount.
[0026] In a second aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a blood pressure measurement system, comprising an airbag, an air valve, and a blood pressure measuring device; the blood pressure measuring device is configured to execute the boost phase of the blood pressure measurement and obtain the real-time air pressure value in the airbag; determine the real-time driving voltage of the air valve based on the real-time air pressure value and the first deflation condition; and drive the air valve to operate based on the real-time driving voltage.
[0027] In a third aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a readable medium having instructions stored thereon. When the instructions are executed on an electronic device, the electronic device executes the blood pressure measurement method of the first aspect described above.
[0028] In a fourth aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides an electronic device, which includes: a memory for storing instructions executed by one or more processors of the electronic device, and a processor, which is one of the processors of the electronic device, for executing the blood pressure measurement method of the first aspect above. [0041] Various aspects of the illustrative embodiments will be described below using terms commonly employed by those skilled in the art.
[0042] Typically, when using a wearable device to measure blood pressure, an oscillometric method is used. For example, a blood pressure measurement system in a wearable device generally includes an airbag, an air pump for inflating the airbag, and an air valve for deflation of the airbag.
[0043] In some embodiments, the blood pressure measurement process is as follows: an air bag is tied to a part of a person to be measured, such as a wrist. During the pressure-increasing stage of the measurement, the air pump is turned on. Generally, the air valve is closed to ensure air tightness. For example, the air valve is driven to work by a preset larger fixed driving voltage, so that the air valve increases the magnetic attraction to block the air leak hole. Then, the air bag is inflated by the air pump to pressurize the air bag to block the blood flow in the human artery. During the pressure-depressurizing stage of the measurement, the air valve is opened and the gas in the air bag is slowly released through the air valve, or the air is released simultaneously through the air pump and the air valve, so that the human body's pulse wave signal is transmitted to the air bag chamber, generating pressure fluctuations in the air bag chamber. Finally, the user's blood pressure can be obtained by analyzing the air pressure fluctuations in the air bag chamber.
[0044] People hope to monitor their blood pressure over a long period of time by wearing wearable devices. However, due to their limited size, these devices currently struggle to incorporate large-capacity batteries, resulting in poor battery life. Therefore, improving the battery life of wearable devices to enable long-term blood pressure monitoring using their integrated blood pressure measurement systems is a pressing issue.
[0045] To improve the battery life of wearable devices, one implementation involves controlling the core operating mode and resource allocation of the wearable device's processor. For example, during the blood pressure measurement interval, the processor is put into standby mode, putting the processor in a low-power state. Furthermore, by increasing the blood pressure measurement interval, that is, reducing the frequency of blood pressure measurements, the processor is kept in a low-power state for a longer period of time, thereby reducing the device's power consumption. However, controlling the processor's operating mode can only reduce the processor's power consumption. The actual power consumption of the processor is not limited to the processor, but also includes components such as air pumps and air valves. Therefore, this approach has very limited effect on optimizing overall power consumption. Furthermore, reducing the frequency of blood pressure measurements is not conducive to timely detection of abnormal blood pressure problems.
[0046] To this end, an embodiment of the present application provides a blood pressure measurement method for a blood pressure measurement system in a wearable device. Specifically, when the air bag pressure is low, the air valve only needs a small magnetic attraction to block the air leak hole to ensure that the system is not deflated. When the air bag pressure is high, the air valve only needs a large magnetic attraction to block the air leak hole to ensure that the system is not deflated. Therefore, during the boost phase of the blood pressure measurement, the method detects the real-time air pressure value of the air path connected to the air bag through a sensor, and then controls the air valve drive circuit according to the real-time air pressure value, so that the real-time driving voltage applied to the air valve by the air valve drive circuit corresponds to the real-time air pressure value of the air path connected to the air bag. For example, when the air bag pressure is low, a smaller driving voltage can be used to drive the air valve to work, and when the air bag pressure is high, a larger driving voltage can be used to drive the air valve to work. The real-time driving voltage can be the minimum voltage corresponding to the real-time air pressure that meets the deflation requirement of the blood pressure measurement system (for example, the deflation amount is 0, that is, there is no deflation or the deflation amount is less than a preset threshold). In this way, the driving voltage of the air valve is dynamically adjusted during the pressure boosting process. Compared with the method of using a fixed higher driving voltage to drive the air valve, the air valve can complete its work with lower power consumption while ensuring the required air discharge volume. In this way, without affecting the frequency of blood pressure measurement, by optimizing the power consumption consumed in each blood pressure measurement process, the overall power consumption of the blood pressure measurement system can be reduced, thereby improving the battery life of the wearable device and ultimately achieving the goal of long-term blood pressure monitoring.
[0047] The embodiments of the present application will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0048] First of all, the wearable devices mentioned in this application can include any one of wristband devices (for example, smart watches, smart bracelets, etc.), cuff-type devices, head-mounted devices, and finger-mounted devices, depending on the different wearing or wearing parts. A blood pressure measurement method of the present application can be applied to any wearable device with a specific blood pressure measurement function. For the sake of convenience, the following description will be taken as an example where the wearable device is a wristband device.
[0049] FIG1 is a schematic diagram of a wristband device 100 provided in an embodiment of the present application. A blood pressure measurement system can be integrated into the wristband device 100 , so that the wristband device 100 has a blood pressure measurement function.
[0050] As shown in Figure 1, the wristband device 100 may include a watch body, which is used to implement the main functions of the wristband device 100, such as display, audio playback, communication, blood pressure measurement, etc. The blood pressure measurement system may include a processor integrated in the watch body, a drive circuit 1, an air pump, a sensor, a drive circuit 2, an air valve, a PPG module, and an air bag connected to the watch body. The following will describe the various components in the blood pressure measurement system in detail, which will not be repeated here. It should be noted that this application does not limit the setting method of the blood pressure measurement system in the wearable device. For example, the above-mentioned air pump, sensor and air valve can also be set on the outside of the watch body according to actual needs. Specifically, the sensor can be set inside the air bag. The advantage of integrating some components of the blood pressure measurement system inside the watch body is that it can improve the comfort of the user wearing it.
[0051] Referring to Figure 1 , the air path between the sensor, air pump, air valve, and airbag is connected. The sensor detects the air pressure in the air path connected to the airbag, allowing for timely understanding of the real-time air pressure within the airbag during blood pressure measurement. In one embodiment, the sensor may be a differential pressure sensor, which can directly detect the difference between the air pressure inside the airbag and the air pressure outside the airbag (i.e., atmospheric pressure). This difference can more intuitively reflect the degree of airbag expansion. Therefore, the real-time air pressure within the airbag referred to in this application can be understood as the difference between the air pressure inside the airbag and atmospheric pressure.
[0052] The driving circuit 1 is electrically connected to the air pump and is used to control the working state of the air pump. The driving circuit 1 contains necessary key chips, for example, a power control chip for controlling the driving voltage of the air pump, and a peripheral resistor-capacitor circuit, which protects the chip to ensure that the chip is within the normal working range and is not damaged by excessive current shock. In one embodiment, the power control chip can be a variable power control chip. The variable power control chip can adjust the size of the driving voltage of the air pump so that the air pump is in a desired working state. For example, increasing the driving voltage of the air pump can increase the inflation speed of the airbag by the air pump. Compared with the immutable power control chip, the air pump can only be driven to work with a fixed driving voltage, which is not conducive to adjusting the inflation speed of the airbag. Since the control of the inflation speed is the key to improving the accuracy of blood pressure measurement, the driving circuit 1 adopts a variable power control chip to achieve control of the air pump, which helps to improve the accuracy of blood pressure measurement.
[0053] Drive circuit 2 is electrically connected to the air valve and controls its operating state. Similar to drive circuit 1, drive circuit 2 also includes essential key chips, such as a power control chip for controlling the valve's driving voltage, and peripheral resistor-capacitor circuits. In one embodiment, the power control chip can be a fixed power control chip, which drives the air valve at a fixed driving voltage. Generally, at the beginning of a blood pressure measurement, to ensure airtightness, the air valve is driven at a higher fixed driving voltage, increasing the valve's magnetic attraction to block the leak. However, because the fixed power control chip can only drive the air valve at a fixed driving voltage, the valve's driving voltage remains high throughout the entire boost phase, i.e., during the slow rise in the airbag pressure. For example, Figure 2 is a schematic diagram of a curve showing the relationship between airbag pressure and valve voltage, provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 2, the valve voltage, i.e., the valve's driving voltage, remains fixed. However, when the airbag pressure is low, the valve only requires a smaller magnetic attraction to block the leak to prevent the system from leaking. Excessively high valve driving voltage results in wasted power. Therefore, in another embodiment, the power control chip can be a variable power control chip. Through the variable power control chip, when the airbag pressure is low, the air valve can be driven with the lowest driving voltage possible on the basis of meeting the system deflation requirements. In this way, the power consumption of the air valve can be reduced.
[0054] A PPG module uses photoplethysmography (PPG) to monitor health metrics such as heart rate, blood oxygen, and blood pressure. The PPG detection principle is that changes in skin light absorption are directly correlated with changes in arterial blood flow velocity. Therefore, by measuring changes in skin light absorption, changes in arterial blood flow velocity can be inferred, and thus, blood pressure at a specific point in time. A PPG module typically consists of a light emitter (e.g., a light-emitting diode), a light sensor (e.g., a photodiode), an analog front-end chip, and an accelerometer. The PPG detection process is as follows: the light emitter shines light waves into the skin, the light sensor detects changes in light intensity, and the analog front-end chip converts the analog signal into a digital signal, generating the raw PPG signal. The accelerometer measures human motion and, combined with the light signal, serves as input to the PPG algorithm. In the post-PPG detection phase, complex algorithms process the raw signals from the analog front-end chip and accelerometer to generate other biometric data such as heart rate, blood oxygen, and blood pressure. It is understandable that the blood pressure measurement system illustrated in FIG1 can measure blood pressure in two different ways: using a PPG module based on photoplethysmography, and using a drive circuit 1, a drive circuit 2, an air pump, an air valve, an air bag, and a sensor based on an oscillometric method. The PPG module can achieve air bag-free, non-compression blood pressure measurement, but the software and hardware costs are higher, and its application range is smaller than that of the oscillometric method. Therefore, the blood pressure measurement system mentioned below mainly refers to a system that uses the oscillometric method to measure blood pressure.
[0055] The processor is electrically connected to the drive circuit 1, the sensor, the drive circuit 2, and the PPG module, respectively. Here, the processor can be a processor in the wristband device 100 for realizing the main functions. The processor can receive data sent by any module in the above-mentioned drive circuit 1, the sensor, the drive circuit 2, and the PPG module, process the data accordingly, and send relevant instructions to any module. For example, the processor obtains the real-time air pressure value detected by the sensor (for example, a differential pressure sensor), determines the minimum driving voltage when the air valve meets the system deflation requirement (for example, requiring no deflation or the deflation volume to be 0) based on the real-time air pressure value, and then sends a corresponding instruction to the drive circuit 2, instructing the drive circuit 2 to drive the air valve to work with the minimum driving voltage. For another example, the processor can also send an air pump control instruction to the drive circuit 1, instructing the drive circuit 1 to control the working state of the air pump.
[0056] The wristband device 100 shown in FIG1 may further include a wristband (not shown). One end of the airbag may be connected to the watch body and the other end to the wristband. This allows the airbag to bend and wrap around the user's wrist along with the wristband during measurement. In one embodiment, the airbag is detachably connected to the watch body, allowing the airbag to be flexibly installed and removed based on actual user needs.
[0057] It should be noted that the blood pressure measurement system illustrated in FIG1 includes a drive circuit 1 and a drive circuit 2, which are used to control an air pump and an air valve, respectively. In practical applications, the number of drive circuits can be designed based on the specific structure of the system. For example, if the system includes multiple air pumps or air valves, a corresponding drive circuit can be provided for each air valve and each air pump. This application does not limit the specific structure of the blood pressure measurement system.
[0058] The following describes a specific implementation of a blood pressure measurement method of the present application based on the description of the wristband device shown in FIG1 . The blood pressure measurement method of the present application can be executed by a processor in the wristband device.
[0059] The blood pressure measurement method of the present application can dynamically adjust the driving voltage of the valve during the pressure boosting process, so that the valve can complete its work with less power consumption. This can optimize the power consumption consumed during each blood pressure measurement process and reduce the overall power consumption of the blood pressure measurement system, thereby improving the battery life of wearable devices and achieving the goal of long-term blood pressure monitoring.
[0060] This application provides three specific implementations of the blood pressure measurement method. Each specific implementation is described below.
[0061] First, the first embodiment of the blood pressure measurement method is introduced. In the first embodiment, the processor controls the valve operation with different drive voltages at different times during the pressure increase process, achieving dynamic adjustment of the valve drive voltage, ensuring that the valve can complete its operation with minimal power consumption.
[0062] FIG3 is a flow chart of a first blood pressure measurement method provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG3 , the blood pressure measurement method may include:
[0063] S301: At the first moment of the pressure boosting stage, the driving voltage of the gas valve is controlled to be a first driving voltage.
[0064] The first moment of the boost phase can be the start of blood pressure measurement, i.e., the moment the airbag begins to inflate. At this point, the driving voltage controlling the air valve is a first driving voltage, which is required to ensure that the air valve does not deflate. For example, the first driving voltage can be the maximum voltage within a driving voltage range that ensures normal operation of the air valve. It will be understood that when inflation begins, the air valve is powered on at the maximum voltage to ensure that the deflation path is closed and airtightness is maintained.
[0065] As mentioned above, in one embodiment, the valve voltage, or the valve driving voltage, remains constant throughout the boost phase. A curve showing the relationship between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure is shown in Figure 2. When the airbag pressure is low, for example, below 5 kPa, the valve only requires minimal magnetic attraction to block the leak hole, minimizing the likelihood of leaks. If the valve voltage remains high (for example, 3 V), this wastes power.
[0066] Based on this, in one embodiment, at the first moment of the boost phase, the driving voltage of the control valve is controlled to be the first driving voltage, and at the same time, the driving duration corresponding to the first driving voltage is controlled to be the first duration. It can be understood that the valve works for the first duration under the first driving voltage, and the first duration can be pre-set, for example, a few nanoseconds, a few microseconds, a few milliseconds or a few seconds. In this way, it is only necessary to increase the driving voltage of the valve in a very short time at the beginning of inflation to increase the magnetic attraction to block the air leak, so as to ensure that the air tightness of the entire blood pressure measurement system is good when the air pressure is low at the initial stage of inflation.
[0067] Accordingly, in one embodiment, the processor may send a first instruction to the driving circuit 2 , and the driving circuit 2 responds to the first instruction to drive the gas valve to start working.
[0068] In practical applications, specific driving information, such as the first driving voltage, the first duration, etc., can be included in the first instruction, or pre-programmed into the driving circuit 2. With the former approach, the processor can flexibly modify the driving information each time it sends the first instruction, facilitating the adjustment of driving information such as the first driving voltage or the first duration at any time to accommodate different blood pressure measurement requirements. With the latter approach, since the driving information is pre-programmed into the driving circuit 2, the processor only needs to send a first instruction to instruct the driving circuit 2 to begin operation, without the need to carry additional driving information. This simplifies the first instruction, speeds up data transmission, and thus improves the efficiency of blood pressure measurement.
[0069] S302: At a second moment in the pressure boosting phase, the driving voltage of the control valve is gradually reduced from the first driving voltage to the second driving voltage.
[0070] Among them, the second moment can be understood as the moment after the first time period has passed from the first moment. Starting from the second moment, the initial inflation stage begins. As mentioned above, the air pressure is low in the initial inflation stage, and the air valve only needs a smaller driving voltage to ensure that the air leak hole does not leak. Therefore, the processor can control the driving voltage of the air valve to slowly drop from the first driving voltage to the second driving voltage at the second moment of the boost phase. Here, the second driving voltage can be the minimum voltage within the driving voltage range that ensures the normal operation of the air valve. That is, the driving voltage range of the air valve is from the second driving voltage to the first driving voltage, and within this range, the air valve can work normally.
[0071] In one embodiment, the processor may pre-set a second time duration, which is used to limit the time it takes for the first drive voltage to drop to the second drive voltage. If the time it takes to drop from the first drive voltage to the second drive voltage is too long, that is, if the valve voltage remains high for a long time during the initial inflation period, the purpose of reducing valve power consumption may not be achieved.
[0072] Accordingly, in one embodiment, the processor may send a second instruction to the drive circuit 2 , and the drive circuit 2 lowers the drive voltage of the gas valve in response to the second instruction.
[0073] In practical applications, specific driving information, such as the second driving voltage, the second duration, etc., can be carried in the second instruction, or pre-burned in the driving circuit 2. The benefits of different methods are mentioned above and will not be repeated here.
[0074] S303: At the third moment of the pressure increasing stage, the driving voltage of the control valve is gradually increased from the second driving voltage to the third driving voltage.
[0075] Among them, the third moment can be understood as the moment after the second moment has passed the second time period, or the moment when the driving voltage of the air valve reaches the second driving voltage. Starting from the third moment, entering the middle and late stages of inflation, the airbag gradually increases the pressure to the maximum air pressure and expands to its final shape. In order to ensure that there is no air leakage, the driving voltage of the air valve can be gradually increased to increase the magnetic attraction of the air valve to block the air leakage hole. Here, the third driving voltage can be the first driving voltage, that is, the maximum voltage within the driving voltage range that ensures the normal operation of the air valve.
[0076] In one embodiment, the processor can control the valve drive voltage to gradually increase from the second drive voltage to the third drive voltage at a constant speed. This can be coordinated with the constant inflation speed of the airbag, preventing the valve from increasing pressure too quickly and wasting power, or from increasing pressure too slowly and causing deflation.
[0077] Accordingly, in one embodiment, the processor may send a third instruction to the drive circuit 2 , and the drive circuit 2 increases the drive voltage of the gas valve in response to the third instruction.
[0078] In actual applications, specific driving information, such as the third driving voltage, the pressure increase speed of the gas valve, etc., can be carried in the third instruction, or pre-burned in the driving circuit 2. The advantages of different methods are mentioned above and will not be repeated here.
[0079] Through steps S301 to S303, the processor can control the valve to operate at different drive voltages at different times during the pressure increase phase. This allows for dynamic adjustment of the valve drive voltage, causing it to decrease first and then increase. This reduces valve power loss during the inflation process and lowers the overall power consumption of the blood pressure measurement system.
[0080] For example, FIG4 is a schematic diagram of a driving voltage control curve provided in an embodiment of the present application, which shows the change of the driving voltage at different times in the boost phase. In practical applications, the curve is stored in the memory of the processor in advance, and in the boost phase, the processor directly reads the curve from the memory, so that at the first moment (t0), the driving voltage of the control valve is the first driving voltage (V1); at the second moment (t1), the driving voltage of the control valve gradually decreases from V1 to the second driving voltage (V2); at the third moment (t2), the driving voltage of the control valve gradually increases from V2 to the third driving voltage (V3). It should be noted again that the driving voltage control curve shown in FIG4 is only an example, and the present application does not limit this. For example, in other embodiments, between t0 and t1, V1 can fluctuate up and down; the process of V1 decreasing to V2 can also be a nonlinear decrease; the process of V2 increasing to V3 can also be a nonlinear increase.
[0081] The following describes an implementation of the second blood pressure measurement method. In the second implementation, as mentioned above, the processor can dynamically adjust the driving voltage of the air valve according to the real-time air pressure in the airbag during the pressure boost process to ensure that the air valve can complete its operation with less power consumption.
[0082] FIG5 is a flow chart of a second blood pressure measurement method provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG5 , the blood pressure measurement method may include:
[0083] S501: During the pressure increase phase, the real-time air pressure value in the airbag is obtained.
[0084] 1 , the sensor connected to the air path of the airbag is used to detect the air pressure value in the airbag, so that the processor can obtain the real-time air pressure value in the airbag through the sensor.
[0085] In one embodiment, a sensor detects the air pressure within the airbag in real time and transmits the detected pressure value to a processor, which receives the real-time pressure value from the sensor. It is understood that the higher the sensor detection frequency, the more accurate the real-time pressure value obtained by the processor.
[0086] In another embodiment, the sensor does not automatically send the detected air pressure value to the processor. The processor can obtain the current reading from the sensor as the real-time air pressure value when needed.
[0087] This application takes into account that in the boosting stage, in order to be able to obtain accurate real-time air pressure values in a timely manner and dynamically adjust the valve voltage, the former implementation method is adopted, and the sensor automatically sends the real-time detected air pressure value to the processor.
[0088] S502: Determine a real-time driving voltage corresponding to the real-time air pressure value according to a curve of the relationship between the air valve voltage and the airbag air pressure.
[0089] In a related embodiment, the relationship curve between valve voltage and airbag pressure shown in FIG2 is used, wherein the valve voltage is fixed and remains at a higher state at different airbag pressures, which will cause waste of valve power when the airbag pressure is low.
[0090] Therefore, the embodiment of the present application defines a new correspondence between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure. In this correspondence between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure, the valve voltage first decreases and then increases as the airbag pressure increases. The reasons and benefits of this trend can be found in the first implementation method of the blood pressure measurement method above and will not be repeated here.
[0091] In practical applications, the blood pressure measurement system can be pre-calibrated and, through curve fitting, a valve voltage vs. bag pressure curve can be obtained, representing the corresponding relationship between valve voltage and bag pressure. In this curve, the valve voltage corresponding to different bag pressures represents the minimum voltage required to prevent the valve from deflation. This allows the processor to directly use the real-time pressure value in the valve voltage vs. bag pressure curve to determine the valve voltage corresponding to the real-time pressure value, as the real-time driving voltage.
[0092] In one embodiment, the relationship curve between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure can be stored in the memory of the processor to facilitate rapid reading by the processor.
[0093] FIG6 is a schematic diagram of the relationship curve between the second valve voltage and the airbag pressure provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG6 , when the valve pressure increases from 0 to 40Kpa, the valve voltage is first in a relatively high driving voltage state (for example, 3V) to ensure the airtightness of the system when inflation begins, and then gradually decreases from 3V to about 1.2V to reduce the power loss of the valve in the initial inflation stage. Then, as the airbag pressure continues to increase, the valve voltage gradually rises from 1.2V until it reaches 3V, that is, by increasing the driving voltage of the valve, the valve magnetic attraction is increased to avoid air leakage from the leak hole. It should be noted that the specific numerical values involved in FIG6 are only an example and are not limited to this in the present application.
[0094] Once the processor has acquired the real-time air pressure, it can directly determine the valve voltage corresponding to that real-time pressure from the curve plotted against the valve voltage and airbag pressure, and then use this corresponding valve voltage as the real-time driving voltage. This allows the processor to dynamically adjust the valve voltage, ensuring that the valve is driven at the minimum voltage required to prevent air leakage during the pressure increase process, thus reducing valve power loss when the airbag pressure is low.
[0095] S503: driving the gas valve according to the real-time driving voltage.
[0096] 1 , after the processor determines the real-time driving voltage, it transmits the real-time driving voltage to the driving circuit 2 . The driving circuit 2 adjusts the driving voltage of the gas valve to the real-time driving voltage through the variable power supply control chip, thereby achieving the driving of the gas valve.
[0097] In one embodiment, each time the processor receives a real-time air pressure value sent by the sensor, it determines the corresponding real-time driving voltage based on the relationship curve between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure, and then drives the air valve according to the real-time driving voltage.
[0098] In another embodiment, the processor stores the real-time air pressure values sent by the sensor. Specifically, the processor may store only the most recently received real-time air pressure value, overwriting previously sent real-time air pressure values; alternatively, the processor may store the most recently received real-time air pressure values in chronological order, and overwrite previously sent real-time air pressure values when the number exceeds the limit. Regardless of the storage method, the processor can read the most recently received real-time air pressure value at a preset time interval, and then determine the real-time drive voltage corresponding to the most recently received real-time air pressure value based on the relationship curve between the valve voltage and the airbag pressure, and drive the air valve according to the real-time drive voltage. The preset time interval can be greater than or equal to the sensor's detection cycle.
[0099] The following is an overall description of steps S501 to S503 of the present application in conjunction with Figure 7. Figure 7 is a schematic diagram of a blood pressure measurement control process provided by an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 7, the differential pressure sensor, airbag, air valve and air pump are connected to each other by air circuits. First, the differential pressure sensor can obtain the real-time air pressure value inside the airbag by detecting the air pressure in the air circuit. The differential pressure sensor then transmits the real-time air pressure value to the MCU. After the MCU obtains the real-time air pressure value, it determines the corresponding real-time driving voltage based on the relationship curve between the air valve voltage and the airbag air pressure. The real-time driving voltage is the minimum voltage that ensures that the blood pressure measurement system does not leak air under the corresponding real-time air pressure. Then, the MCU controls the drive circuit 2 so that the drive circuit 2 supplies power to the air valve with the real-time driving voltage through its variable power supply control chip. In this way, the air valve can ensure good air tightness of the system with less power, thereby reducing the overall power consumption of the blood pressure measurement system.
[0100] It can be understood that the first deflation condition mentioned in this application can be understood as the situation where the air valve does not deflate, or the deflation amount of the air valve is less than or equal to the first deflation amount in the second embodiment, where the first deflation amount can be 0, or a value infinitely close to 0.
[0101] The following describes a third blood pressure measurement method implementation. In this third implementation, the processor dynamically adjusts the valve drive voltage and the air pump drive voltage based on the real-time air pressure within the airbag during the pressure increase process. This not only ensures that the valve operates with minimal power consumption but also ensures linear pressure increase within the airbag, which is key to improving blood pressure measurement accuracy.
[0102] FIG8 is a flow chart of a third blood pressure measurement method provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG8 , the blood pressure measurement method may include:
[0103] S801: During the pressure increase phase, obtain the real-time air pressure value in the airbag.
[0104] This step can refer to the implementation of step S501 above and will not be described again here.
[0105] S802: Determine a real-time deviation value based on the real-time air pressure value and the ideal air pressure value.
[0106] The real-time deviation value may refer to the pressure deviation between the ideal pressure value and the real-time pressure value. The ideal pressure value is the pressure value corresponding to when the airbag satisfies the linear pressure increase condition. As described above, linear pressure increase means that the air pressure in the airbag increases at a constant rate. It can also be understood that the airbag's inflation rate is constant. In this way, the airbag expands at a constant rate, which can make the received blood pressure signal more stable, thereby helping to improve the accuracy of blood pressure measurement. It can be understood that during the pressure increase phase, the ideal pressure value of the airbag increases linearly with time.
[0107] In one embodiment, to ensure that the airbag satisfies the linear pressure increase condition, the processor may store a linear pressure increase curve for the airbag, which includes ideal pressure values corresponding to different moments. When determining the real-time deviation value, the processor first determines the ideal pressure value corresponding to the current moment from the linear pressure increase curve. It then compares this ideal pressure value with the real-time pressure value to determine the pressure deviation between the two values, which serves as the real-time deviation value.
[0108] S803: Determine the real-time driving voltage of the air pump and the real-time driving voltage of the air valve according to the real-time deviation value.
[0109] In this step, the processor can use a proportional integral derivative (PID) control algorithm to calculate the real-time drive voltage of the air pump (hereinafter referred to as the fourth drive voltage) and the real-time drive voltage of the air valve (hereinafter referred to as the fifth drive voltage) based on the real-time deviation value. Under the regulation of the fourth drive voltage and the fifth drive voltage, the air pump inflates the airbag with an inflation volume corresponding to the fourth drive voltage, and the air valve deflates the airbag with an inflation volume corresponding to the fifth drive voltage, so that the airbag meets the linear pressure increase condition.
[0110] The amount of air released from the valve is determined by the driving voltage of the valve. The higher the driving voltage of the valve, the smaller the amount of air released; the lower the driving voltage of the valve, the greater the amount of air released.
[0111] In one embodiment, when the processor uses PID to calculate the fourth drive voltage and the fifth drive voltage based on the real-time deviation value, it can further consider how to put the air pump in the optimal working state. When the air pump operates in the optimal working state, the inflation efficiency can be further improved. The working state of the air pump is adjusted by the drive circuit 1, and the drive circuit 1 can achieve the optimal working state of the air pump by adjusting the air pump operating parameters, such as the duty cycle, drive voltage, etc. It should be noted that how the air pump operating parameters are set to achieve the optimal working state is determined according to the actual application scenario. This application does not limit the air pump operating parameters, optimal working state, and specific adjustment methods. For example, the air pump can achieve the optimal working state when operating at a preset duty cycle. Then, when the processor uses PID to calculate the fourth drive voltage and the fifth drive voltage based on the real-time deviation value, it first considers the fourth drive voltage required for the air pump to be in the optimal working state, and then, when the inflation volume is determined, considers the fifth drive voltage required for the airbag to be linearly boosted.
[0112] It can be understood that the purpose of determining the real-time driving voltage of the air pump and the real-time driving voltage of the air valve based on the real-time deviation value is not only to make the airbag meet the linear boost conditions and reduce the power consumption of the air valve, but also to ensure that the air pump works in the best working state, thereby improving the inflation efficiency.
[0113] The following will explain in detail how to use the PID control algorithm to calculate the real-time driving voltage of the air pump and the real-time driving voltage of the air valve, which will not be described here in detail.
[0114] In other implementations, in step S803, only the real-time driving voltage of the gas valve may be adjusted according to the real-time deviation value, so that the gas valve achieves linear pressure increase.
[0115] S804: driving the air pump according to the real-time driving voltage of the air pump, and driving the air valve according to the real-time driving voltage of the air valve.
[0116] In this step, the processor transmits the real-time driving voltage of the air pump to the drive circuit 1, which then adjusts the driving voltage of the air pump to the corresponding real-time driving voltage through the variable power supply control chip, thereby driving the air pump. Similarly, the processor transmits the real-time driving voltage of the gas valve to the drive circuit 2, which then adjusts the driving voltage of the gas valve to the corresponding real-time driving voltage through the variable power supply control chip, thereby driving the gas valve.
[0117] Compared with the second embodiment of the blood pressure measurement method above, the air valve is closed during the pressure boosting stage to ensure that the system does not leak air; in the third embodiment of the blood pressure measurement method, the air valve will be opened during the pressure boosting stage to leak air. Obviously, the real-time driving voltage of the air valve in the third embodiment will be further reduced, thereby further reducing the power consumption of the air valve.
[0118] It is understood that the first deflation condition mentioned in this application, in the third embodiment, can be understood as a situation where the deflation amount of the air valve is greater than the second deflation amount, where the second deflation amount can be 0 or a value infinitely close to 0. The actual deflation amount of the air valve needs to ensure that the airbag meets the linear pressure increase condition.
[0119] The blood pressure measurement control process of steps S801 to S804 is described below in conjunction with Figure 9. As shown in Figure 9, when blood pressure measurement begins, the control valve is powered on at the set maximum voltage to ensure system airtightness. The air pump is then controlled to inflate the airbag at a low voltage and a 50% duty cycle. After inflation begins, the MCU detects the airbag pressure using a differential pressure sensor and calculates the pressure increase rate. To maintain a constant inflation rate and ensure the air pump operates at optimal efficiency, the MCU adjusts the drive voltages of the valve and pump using a PID algorithm. The processor then determines whether inflation is complete. If not, it returns to the previous step and continues adjusting the drive voltages of the valve and pump. If inflation is complete, the MCU can deflate the airbag through the valve, or through both the valve and pump simultaneously. It should be noted that the 50% duty cycle described above is merely an example of an operating parameter for an air pump operating at optimal operating conditions and is not intended to be limiting in this application.
[0120] The following describes in detail how the processor calculates the fourth driving voltage and the fifth driving voltage using the PID control algorithm.
[0121] First, let's briefly describe the basic idea of the PID control algorithm: based on the size of the deviation, a control variable is calculated using proportional, integral, and differential functions. This control variable is then input into the controlled system. After receiving this input, the system outputs a corresponding output. The PID controller then detects this output and calculates the deviation, and the above process repeats. The processor of this application can be the above-mentioned PID controller.
[0122] For easier understanding, Figure 10 illustrates the specific process by which the processor adjusts the drive voltages for the air valve and air pump using the PID algorithm. As shown in Figure 10, the processor detects the real-time air pressure inside the airbag and calculates a real-time deviation from the ideal air pressure. The processor then uses proportional, integral, and differential calculations based on this real-time deviation to calculate a control variable. Here, the control variable includes the fourth and fifth drive voltages. The controlled system includes drive circuit 1, air pump, drive circuit 2, air valve, and airbag. The processor inputs the fourth drive voltage into drive circuit 1, causing it to drive the air pump at the fourth drive voltage. Simultaneously, the processor inputs the fifth drive voltage into drive circuit 2, causing it to drive the air valve at the fifth drive voltage. This way, the air pump inflates the airbag while the air valve deflates it. By continuously acquiring the real-time air pressure inside the airbag, the processor continuously adjusts the drive voltages for the air valve and air pump, ensuring that the airbag pressure increases at a constant rate. In this way, during the entire inflation process, the airbag achieves linear pressure increase, and the air pump continues to work at the optimal state, reducing the overall power consumption of the blood pressure measurement system.
[0123] In one embodiment, the way in which the MCU adjusts the driving voltage of the air valve and air pump through the PID algorithm can be shown in Figure 11. In the initial stage of inflation, the MCU controls the driving voltage of the air pump to remain constant, reduces the driving voltage of the air valve, and increases the amount of air deflated by the air valve to achieve linear pressure increase of the airbag; after the airbag is inflated to a certain pressure, that is, after the airbag reaches a certain pressure, the MCU controls the driving voltage of the air valve to first increase and then remain constant, increases the driving voltage of the air pump, and continues to linearly increase the pressure until the airbag reaches the target pressure value. Figure 12 shows the trend of the fourth driving voltage and the fifth driving voltage changing with the airbag pressure after adjustment in the above manner, where the solid line represents the trend of the fourth driving voltage and the dotted line represents the trend of the fifth driving voltage. As shown in Figure 12, at the beginning of inflation, that is, when the airbag pressure is 0, the fourth drive voltage is at a lower position (V4) and the fifth drive voltage is at a higher position (V5). As the airbag pressure gradually rises from 0 to P1, the fifth drive voltage gradually decreases from V5 to V6 to increase the valve deflation volume, while the fourth drive voltage remains constant (V4). Starting from P1, to ensure the airbag's airtightness, the valve drive voltage begins to gradually increase, that is, the fifth drive voltage gradually rises from V6 to V5, and then remains constant. When the airbag pressure reaches P2, the air pump drive voltage begins to increase, that is, the fourth drive voltage gradually rises from V4 to V7, at which point the airbag reaches the target pressure value P3. It should be noted that the drive voltage change curve in Figure 12 is merely an example, and this application does not limit the drive voltage change curve. For example, when the fourth drive voltage rises from V4 to V7, it can rise linearly or nonlinearly; when the fifth drive voltage decreases from V5 to V6, it can decrease linearly or nonlinearly.
[0124] It should be noted that the first driving circuit mentioned in this application may be the driving circuit 1 mentioned above, and the second driving circuit may be the driving circuit 2 mentioned above.
