[0042] An embodiment of the present application is described in detail below. The embodiment described with reference to the accompanying drawings is exemplary. A battery pack 100 according to an embodiment of the present application is described below with reference to FIG. 1 to FIG. 6 .

[0043] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the battery pack 100 according to the embodiment of the first aspect of the present application includes a tray 1 and a multi-layer battery module 2.

[0044] Specifically, multiple layers of battery modules 2 are all arranged on the tray 1. The multilayer battery modules 2 include a first layer of battery modules 21 and a second layer of battery modules 22. The second layer of battery modules 22 is arranged on the side of the first layer of battery modules 21 away from the tray 1. For example, in the example of Figure 1, the first layer of battery modules 21 is located on the tray 1, and the second layer of battery modules 22 is located above the first layer of battery modules 21. The tray 1, the first layer of battery modules 21, and the second layer of battery modules 22 are stacked in the up and down direction (for example, the up and down direction in Figure 1). This arrangement increases the number of battery modules 2, thereby increasing the power of the battery pack 100, and further improving the vehicle's endurance when the battery pack 100 is used in a vehicle. In addition, the tray 1 supports the battery modules 2, which is conducive to the long-term and stable use of the battery modules 2.

[0045] 1 and 2 , the second layer of battery modules 22 includes a first battery module 221 and a second battery module 222. The number of cells 2211 in the first battery module 221 is smaller than the number of cells 2211 in the second battery module 222. For example, in the examples of FIG1 and FIG2 , the first battery module 221 and the second battery module 222 are arranged along the front-to-back direction (e.g., the front-to-back direction in FIG1 ), with the first battery module 221 located at the front end of the battery pack 100 and the second battery module 222 located at the rear end of the battery pack 100. The orthographic projection of the second layer of battery modules 22 overlaps with the orthographic projection of the first layer of battery modules 21. With this arrangement, compared to conventional techniques that employ multiple small modules, the second layer of battery modules 22 of the present application includes two modules, reducing the number of modules in the second layer of battery modules 22 and thereby reducing the gaps between adjacent modules. This increases the battery pack 100's power while also improving the space utilization of the battery pack 100. Furthermore, the second-layer battery module 22 is composed of a first battery module 221 and a second battery module 222. This facilitates hoisting of the first and second battery modules 221, 222 during assembly of the battery pack 100, thereby reducing the difficulty of installing the second-layer battery module 22 and improving the assembly efficiency of the battery pack 100. Furthermore, the second-layer battery module 22 is composed of two modules, which, compared to conventional techniques that utilize a single module, helps improve the structural strength of the battery pack 100, thereby facilitating the long-term use of the battery pack 100. Furthermore, the number of cells 2211 in the first battery module 221 can be easily controlled within a relatively small range, allowing the battery pack 100 to adjust the number of cells 2211 in the first battery module 221 according to actual usage, thereby improving the performance of the battery pack 100.

[0046] According to the battery pack 100 of the present application, by configuring the second-layer battery module 22 into a first battery module 221 and a second battery module 222 containing different numbers of battery cells 2211, the number of modules in the second-layer battery module 22 is reduced, thereby improving the space utilization of the battery pack 100. Furthermore, the power capacity of the battery pack 100 is increased, thereby improving the vehicle's endurance. Furthermore, during assembly of the battery pack 100, the difficulty of hoisting the second-layer battery module 22 is reduced, thereby improving the assembly efficiency of the battery pack 100. Furthermore, the structural strength of the battery pack 100 is improved, thereby facilitating the long-term use of the battery pack 100.

[0047] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to FIG. 2 , the first battery module 221 is positioned adjacent to the edge of the tray 1, and the orthographic projection of the first battery module 221 on the tray 1 does not overlap with the orthographic projection of the center of the tray 1 on the tray 1. For example, in the example of FIG. 2 , the first battery module 221 is positioned adjacent to the front edge of the tray 1, with the center of the first battery module 221 offset from the center of the tray 1. Consequently, when the battery pack 100 is subjected to vibration, the amplitude of vibration at the edge of the battery pack 100 is smaller, thereby reducing the amplitude of vibration of the first battery module 221 and effectively preventing damage to the first battery module 221. Furthermore, the vibration of the first battery module 221 is less likely to affect the first layer of battery modules 21, thereby reducing the impact on the battery cells 2211 of the first layer of battery modules 21. It should be noted that the distance between the first battery module 221 and the center of the second layer of battery modules 22, as well as the number of battery cells 2211 in the first battery module 221, can be set based on specific usage to better meet practical requirements.

[0048] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 5 , a pallet 1 includes a pallet body 11 and a plurality of pallet beams 12 .

[0049] Specifically, the first layer of battery modules 21 is disposed on the pallet body 11, and multiple pallet beams 12 are disposed on the pallet body 11. In this description, "multiple" means two or more. The multiple pallet beams 12 include a first pallet beam 121, a second pallet beam 122, and a third pallet beam 123. The first pallet beam 121 and the second pallet beam 122 are respectively disposed at opposite ends of the pallet body 11 along a first direction (e.g., the front-to-back direction in FIG. 5 ). For example, in the examples of FIG. 1 and FIG. 5 , the multiple pallet beams 12 are fixedly connected to the pallet body 11, are connected to the upper surface of the pallet body 11, and extend in the left-right direction. The first pallet beam 121 is located at the front end of the pallet body 11, and its rear side abuts the front side of the first layer of battery modules 21. The second pallet beam 122 is located at the rear end of the pallet body 11, and its front side abuts the rear side of the first layer of battery modules 21. With this arrangement, the first and second pallet beams 121, 122 limit the first-layer battery modules 21, preventing them from rocking in the front-to-back direction relative to the pallet body 11. This improves the stability of the assembly of the first-layer battery modules 21 with the pallet 1, and also enhances the overall stability of the first-layer battery modules 21, facilitating the long-term use of the first-layer battery modules 21. Furthermore, the first, second, and third pallet beams 121, 122, and 123 each support the second-layer battery modules 22, thereby enhancing the overall structural strength of the battery pack 100 and the protective effect of the pallet 1 on the first-layer battery modules 21. This improves the performance of the battery pack 100 and extends its service life.

[0050] In conjunction with Figures 1 and 5 , the third pallet beam 123 is located between the first pallet beam 121 and the second pallet beam 122, and the third pallet beam 123 opposes the second battery module 222. For example, in the examples shown in Figures 1 and 5 , the second pallet beam 122 extends in the left-right direction, and the third pallet beam 123 and the second battery module 222 oppose each other in the top-bottom direction. Therefore, when the battery pack 100 is subjected to vibration, the vibration energy of the second battery module 222 can be transmitted to the pallet body 11 via the third pallet beam 123, thereby preventing the vibration energy of the second battery module 222 from being transmitted to the first-layer battery module 21. This prevents the risk of cracking and leakage of the battery cells 2211 in the first-layer battery module 21 due to excessive stress, and also prevents vibration failure of the second battery module 222. This, in turn, extends the service life of the battery pack 100 and improves its performance. Furthermore, by providing only one third pallet beam 123 between the first pallet beam 121 and the second pallet beam 122, the possibility of collision between the battery cells 2211 of the first layer of battery modules 21 and the third pallet beam 123 is reduced during installation of the first layer of battery modules 21, thereby preventing damage to the first layer of battery modules 21. Furthermore, the space occupied by the third pallet beam 123 on the pallet body 11 is reduced, thereby improving the space utilization of the lower layer of the battery pack 100. It should be noted that the dimensions of the third pallet beam 123 can be adjusted based on specific usage to better meet practical requirements.

[0051] Furthermore, referring to Figures 1 and 5 , the third pallet beam 123 is offset from the center of the pallet 1 in a first direction. For example, in the examples of Figures 1 and 5 , the third pallet beam 123 is located between the center of the pallet 1 and the second pallet beam 122. Thus, the offset arrangement of the third pallet beam 123 facilitates its alignment with the center of the second battery module 222. Thus, when the battery pack 100 is subjected to vibration, the vibration energy of the second battery module 222 can be better transmitted to the pallet 1 via the third pallet beam 123, thereby further preventing damage to the first layer of battery modules 21 and vibration failure of the second battery module 222. This further extends the service life of the battery pack 100 and improves its performance.

[0052] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to FIG. 1 , the first layer of battery modules 21 includes a third battery module 211 and a fourth battery module 212. The third battery module 211 is positioned between the first pallet beam 121 and the third pallet beam 123, while the fourth battery module 212 is positioned between the third pallet beam 123 and the second pallet beam 122. For example, in the example of FIG. 1 , the rear side of the third battery module 211 abuts the front side of the third pallet beam 123, while the front side of the fourth battery module 212 abuts the rear side of the third pallet beam 123. This arrangement simplifies the structure and facilitates the installation of the third battery module 211 between the first pallet beam 121 and the third pallet beam 123, as well as the installation of the fourth battery module 212 between the second pallet beam 122 and the third pallet beam 123. This facilitates the installation of the first layer of battery modules 21 on the pallet 1, thereby improving the assembly efficiency of the battery pack 100. In addition, the integrity of the first-layer battery module 21 is improved, and the overall layout of the first battery module 221, the second battery module 222, the third battery module 211 and the fourth battery module 212 is arranged in a brick-laying style, so that the structure of the entire battery pack 100 tends to be a whole, which helps to improve the modality of the battery pack 100 and improves the safety of the battery pack 100.

[0053] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to FIG1 and FIG4 , the battery pack 100 further includes a heat exchange plate 3 , which is disposed between the first layer of battery modules 21 and the second layer of battery modules 22 . The heat exchange plate 3 is connected to the first pallet beam 121 , the second pallet beam 122 , and the third pallet beam 123 . For example, in the examples of FIG1 and FIG4 , the first layer of battery modules 21 is located below the heat exchange plate 3 , and the second layer of battery modules 22 is located above the heat exchange plate 3 . The heat exchange plate 3 is connected to the first pallet beam 121 , the second pallet beam 122 , and the third pallet beam 123 , respectively. With this arrangement, after the battery pack 100 has operated for a period of time, the first and second battery modules 21, 22 will generate heat. The heat exchange plate 3 can exchange heat with the first and second battery modules 21, 22, respectively, removing heat from the first and second battery modules 21, 22. This allows the heat exchange plate 3 to lower the temperatures of the first and second battery modules 21, 22. (Of course, when the temperatures of the first and second battery modules 21, 22 are lower, the heat exchange plate 3 can also transfer heat to the first and second battery modules 21, 22.) This facilitates the normal operation of the battery pack 100. Furthermore, by connecting the heat exchange plate 3 to the first, second, and third pallet beams 121, 122, and 123, the connection strength between the heat exchange plate 3 and the pallet beam 12 is enhanced, thereby improving the stability of the connection between the heat exchange plate 3 and the pallet 1, thereby facilitating the long-term and stable operation of the heat exchange plate 3.

[0054] Optionally, referring to Figure 4 , the heat exchange plate 3 is provided with a plurality of first fasteners 31, which securely connect the heat exchange plate 3 to the first pallet beam 121, the second pallet beam 122, and the third pallet beam 123. The first fasteners 31 can be configured as rivets. The upper side surfaces of the first pallet beam 121, the second pallet beam 122, and the third pallet beam 123 are each provided with a plurality of insertion holes 124. The first fasteners 31 engage with the insertion holes 124, and the plurality of first fasteners 31 and the plurality of insertion holes 124 correspond one-to-one, but the present invention is not limited thereto. This improves the stability of the connection between the heat exchange plate 3 and the first pallet beam 121, the second pallet beam 122, and the third pallet beam 123, thereby enhancing the operational stability of the heat exchange plate 3 and preventing the heat exchange plate 3 from moving relative to the first and second battery modules 21, 22.

[0055] Optionally, referring to Figures 5 and 6 , at least two positioning rods 125 are provided on at least one of the first and second pallet beams 121, 122. At least two positioning holes (not shown) are formed on the side of the heat exchange plate 3 facing the first layer of battery modules 21. The positioning rods 125 engage with the positioning holes on the heat exchange plate 3. The positioning rods 125 can be provided in the following ways: First, at least two positioning rods 125 are provided on the upper surface of the first pallet beam 121. Second, at least two positioning rods 125 are provided on the upper surface of the second pallet beam 122. Third, at least one positioning rod 125 is provided on the upper surface of each of the first and second pallet beams 121, 122. This arrangement allows the positioning rods 125 to position the heat exchange plate 3, thereby preventing the heat exchange plate 3 from rotating when it is fixedly connected to the first, second, and third pallet beams 121, 122, and 123. This facilitates quick and accurate assembly of the heat exchange plate 3, thereby improving the assembly efficiency of the battery pack 100.

[0056] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to Figure 5, the pallet body 11 has a first side beam 111 and a second side beam 112, and the first side beam 111 and the second side beam 112 both extend along a first direction (for example, the front-to-back direction in Figure 5), and the first side beam 111 and the second side beam 112 are respectively located on both sides of the first pallet beam 121, the second pallet beam 122 and the third pallet beam 123 along the second direction (for example, the left-to-right direction in Figure 5), and the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction. For example, in the example of FIG5 , the first side beam 111 is located on the right side of the pallet body 11, and the second side beam 112 is located on the left side of the pallet body 11. The left side of the first side beam 111 is connected to the right side of the first pallet beam 121, the right side of the second pallet beam 122, and the right side of the third pallet beam 123, respectively. The right side of the second side beam 112 is connected to the left side of the first pallet beam 121, the left side of the second pallet beam 122, and the left side of the third pallet beam 123, respectively. The first layer of battery modules 21 is located between the first side beam 111 and the second side beam 112. This arrangement strengthens the connection strength between the first pallet beam 121, the second pallet beam 122, and the third pallet beam 123 and the pallet body 11, thereby improving the overall structural stability of the pallet 1 and, in turn, the structural stability of the battery pack 100.

[0057] 1 and 2 , the battery pack 100 further includes a first end plate 4 and a second end plate 5 .

[0058] Specifically, the first end plate 4 is connected to the first side beam 111, the second end plate 5 is connected to the second side beam 112, and the second layer battery module 22 is connected to the first end plate 4 and the second end plate 5. For example, in the examples of Figures 1 and 2, the first end plate 4 is located on the upper side of the first side beam 111, and the second end plate 5 is located on the upper side of the second side beam 112. The first end plate 4 and the second end plate 5 are both located below the second layer battery module 22, and the left side of the first end plate 4 abuts against the right side of the first layer battery module 21, and the right side of the second end plate 5 abuts against the left side of the first layer battery module 21. This arrangement strengthens the connection strength between the first end plate 4 and the second end plate 5 and the tray body 11. In addition, the first-layer battery module 21 is located within the space defined by the first end plate 4, the second end plate 5, the first pallet beam 121, and the second pallet beam 122. The first end plate 4 and the second end plate 5 protect and limit the first-layer battery module 21, thereby preventing the first-layer battery module 21 from swaying left and right, thereby improving the operational stability of the first-layer battery module 21. Furthermore, the first end plate 4 and the second end plate 5 support the second-layer battery module 22, thereby improving the connection stability of the second-layer battery module 22. Furthermore, the connection between the second-layer battery module 22 and the first end plate 4 and the second end plate 5 strengthens the connection strength between the second-layer battery module 22 and the pallet body 11, thereby improving the structural stability of the second-layer battery module 22 and, in turn, the operational stability of the battery pack 100.

[0059] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to FIG5 , at least one first connecting protrusion 1111 is provided on the first side beam 111, and the first end plate 4 is connected to the first connecting protrusion 1111. For example, in the example of FIG5 , the first connecting protrusion 1111 protrudes from the side of the first side beam 111 facing the second side beam 112 toward the second side beam 112, the first end plate 4 is located above the first connecting protrusion 1111, and the lower surface of the first end plate 4 is connected to the first connecting protrusion 1111. In this configuration, the first end plate 4 is connected to the first side beam 111 via the first connecting protrusion 1111, which facilitates the fixation of the first end plate 4.

[0060] According to other embodiments of the present application, referring to FIG5 , at least one second connecting protrusion 1121 is provided on the second side beam 112, and the second end plate 5 is connected to the second connecting protrusion 1121. For example, in the example of FIG5 , the second connecting protrusion 1121 protrudes from the side of the second side beam 112 facing the first side beam 111 toward the first side beam 111, the second end plate 5 is located above the second connecting protrusion 1121, and the lower surface of the second end plate 5 is connected to the second connecting protrusion 1121. In this configuration, the second end plate 5 is connected to the second side beam 112 via the second connecting protrusion 1121, which facilitates the fixation of the second end plate 5.

[0061] According to further embodiments of the present application, at least one first connecting protrusion 1111 is provided on the first side beam 111, and the first end plate 4 is connected to the first connecting protrusion 1111. Simultaneously, at least one second connecting protrusion 1121 is provided on the second side beam 112, and the second end plate 5 is connected to the second connecting protrusion 1121. Thus, the first end plate 4 is connected to the first side beam 111 via the first connecting protrusion 1111, which facilitates the fixation of the first end plate 4. Furthermore, the second end plate 5 is connected to the second side beam 112 via the second connecting protrusion 1121, which facilitates the fixation of the second end plate 5. Furthermore, the structures of the first connecting protrusion 1111 and the second connecting protrusion 1121 are simple, simplifying the structures of the first side beam 111 and the second side beam 112.

[0062] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to Figure 5, there are multiple first connecting protrusions 1111, the multiple first connecting protrusions 1111 are arranged at intervals along the first direction, and the first end plate 4 is connected to the multiple first connecting protrusions 1111; and / or, there are multiple second connecting protrusions 1121, the multiple second connecting protrusions 1121 are arranged at intervals along the first direction, and the second end plate 5 is connected to the multiple second connecting protrusions 1121.

[0063] For example, in the example of FIG5 , the configuration of the first connecting protrusions 1111 and the second connecting protrusions 1121 includes the following scenarios: First, there are multiple first connecting protrusions 1111, the multiple first connecting protrusions 1111 are spaced apart along the first direction, and the first end plate 4 is connected to the multiple first connecting protrusions 1111. Second, there are multiple second connecting protrusions 1121, the multiple second connecting protrusions 1121 are spaced apart along the first direction, and the second end plate 5 is connected to the multiple second connecting protrusions 1121. Third, there are multiple first connecting protrusions 1111 and the multiple second connecting protrusions 1121, the multiple first connecting protrusions 1111 and the multiple second connecting protrusions 1121 are spaced apart along the first direction, the first end plate 4 is connected to the multiple first connecting protrusions 1111, and the second end plate 5 is connected to the multiple second connecting protrusions 1121. In this configuration, the provision of multiple first connecting protrusions 1111 further improves the connection strength between the first end plate 4 and the first side beam 111, thereby improving the connection stability of the first end plate 4. By setting a plurality of second connecting protrusions 1121, the connection strength between the second end plate 5 and the second side beam 112 is further improved, thereby improving the connection stability of the second end plate 5, and further improving the connection stability of the first end plate 4, the second end plate 5 and the pallet 1, which is beneficial to the long-term use of the first end plate 4 and the second end plate 5.

[0064] Optionally, referring to Figures 2 and 3, both sides of the first battery module 221 and the second battery module 222 along the first direction (i.e., the front-to-back direction) are provided with limiting plates 223. The limiting plates 223 extend in the left-right direction (i.e., the second direction). Each limiting plate 223 is connected to a fixing plate 224 at both ends along the second direction. The height of the fixing plate 224 is less than that of the limiting plate 223. A second fastener 225 is provided on the fixing plate 224. The second fastener 225 located on the left side of the limiting plate 223 can pass through the fixing plate 224 and connect to the upper side of the second end plate 5. The second fastener 225 located on the right side of the limiting plate 223 can pass through the corresponding fixing plate 224 and connect to the upper side of the first end plate 4. For example, the second fastener 225 can be configured as a bolt, but is not limited thereto. This arrangement facilitates the fixed connection of the left and right sides of the first battery module 221 and the second battery module 222 to the second end plate 5 and the first end plate 4, respectively. This not only facilitates the fixed connection of the second-layer battery module 22 to the first end plate 4 and the second end plate 5, but also improves the connection stability of the second-layer battery module 22 and the operational stability of the battery pack 100. Furthermore, the limiting plates 223 limit the second-layer battery module 22, thereby reducing the forward and backward movement of the second-layer battery module 22 and further improving the long-term operational stability of the second-layer battery module 22.

[0065] According to some optional embodiments of the present application, referring to Figures 2 and 3, a plurality of third fasteners 41 are respectively provided on the first end plate 4 and the second end plate 5. The plurality of third fasteners 41 on the first end plate 4 respectively pass through the first end plate 4 and are connected to the upper end of the first connecting protrusion 1111. The plurality of third fasteners 41 on the second end plate 5 can pass through the second end plate 5 and be connected to the upper end of the second connecting protrusion 1121. For example, the third fasteners 41 can be configured as bolts, but are not limited thereto. Such a configuration not only improves the connection strength between the first end plate 4 and the tray 1, as well as the connection strength between the second end plate 5 and the tray 1, but also facilitates the assembly of the first end plate 4 and the second end plate 5 with the tray 1. The assembly and disassembly operations are simple, thereby improving the assembly efficiency of the battery pack 100.

[0066] Optionally, referring to Figure 1 , battery pack 100 further includes a cover plate 6 , which is positioned above tray 1 . The edge of cover plate 6 is removably connected to the edge of tray 1 . Together, cover plate 6 and tray 1 define a space for accommodating first-layer battery modules 21 and second-layer battery modules 22 . This arrangement, combined with the cover plate 6 and tray 1 , enhances protection for the internal components of battery pack 100 , thereby preventing damage to the interior of battery pack 100 and extending its service life.
