Description

Lens barrel, camera module and electronic equipment

[0001] CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0002] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the State Intellectual Property Office of China on September 21, 2023, with application number 202311231944.5 and application name “A lens barrel, camera module and electronic device”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field

[0003] The present application relates to the technical field of electronic equipment, and in particular to a lens barrel, a camera module and an electronic device. Background Art

[0004] The camera module is a module component that enables electronic devices to realize the functions of taking photos and videos. In electronic devices equipped with camera modules, the housing of the electronic device is usually installed with a camera decoration, and the camera decoration is provided with a light inlet, which can be used to connect the inside of the electronic device with the outside. The lens barrel of the camera module is at least partially exposed in the light inlet, so that the camera module can collect ambient light outside the electronic device. During the assembly process of the entire electronic device, due to limited assembly accuracy, the axis of the lens barrel of the camera module and the axis of the light inlet of the camera decoration often appear to be misaligned. Since there is a color difference between the lens barrel and the camera decoration, if there is an eccentricity problem, the user will easily see it from the appearance of the electronic device, resulting in a reduced user experience.

[0005] Summary of the Invention

[0006] The present application provides a lens barrel, a camera module, and an electronic device to reduce the light reflectivity of the lens barrel surface, thereby visually reducing the risk of users observing the lens barrel eccentricity problem and improving the user experience.

[0007] In a first aspect, the present application provides a lens barrel having a first surface including a plurality of grooves arranged in an array, the inner wall of each groove including a plurality of protrusions, wherein the grooves are micrometer-scale structures, the plurality of protrusions are nanometer-scale structures, the plurality of protrusions are randomly arranged on the inner wall of the grooves, and the spacing between two adjacent protrusions is greater than or equal to 50 nanometers and less than or equal to 300 nanometers. Furthermore, since a depression may be formed between two adjacent protrusions, it can also be understood that the radial dimension of the depression is between 50 nanometers and 300 nanometers. The plurality of grooves and the plurality of protrusions and depressions within each groove give the first surface of the lens barrel an uneven, frosted appearance. After light strikes the first surface of the lens barrel, the plurality of protrusions and depressions within the grooves cause the light to be diffusely reflected, and most of the reflected light is reflected again on the first surface of the lens barrel. Since light is lost during each reflection, the light is weakened after each reflection. Thus, after multiple reflections, the light gradually dissipates on the surface of the lens barrel, thereby reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel. For electronic devices using this lens barrel, the color of the lens barrel is basically consistent with that of the camera decoration and lens, thereby visually reducing the risk of users observing the lens barrel eccentricity problem and improving the user experience.

[0008] In some embodiments, the topography of the first surface of the lens barrel can be formed by a laser engraving process. When the laser spot scans the first surface of the lens barrel, the position on the surface of the lens barrel where the laser spot is scanned will be reduced by the ultrafast laser, thereby forming a groove at the scanning position of the laser spot. In addition, under the irradiation of the laser, heat will accumulate in the formed groove, and this heat will further cause the inner wall of the groove to reduce material, thereby forming a plurality of disordered protrusions and a plurality of depressions on the inner wall of the groove. Among them, the radial size of the protrusions and depressions is related to the wavelength of the laser. Generally speaking, the radial size of the protrusions and depressions is roughly between one-quarter of a wavelength and one-half of a wavelength.

[0009] In some embodiments, the cross-section of the groove perpendicular to the axis of the lens barrel can be substantially circular, and the diameter of the groove can be greater than or equal to 2 μm and less than or equal to 40 μm. The diameter of the groove is determined by the diameter of the laser spot. A groove diameter that is too small increases the number of laser scans, thereby increasing process complexity. A groove diameter that is too large can easily cause macro-roughness on the first surface of the lens barrel, affecting the appearance quality of the lens barrel. By designing the groove diameter within the above range, the desired frosted morphology can be formed in the groove interior through appropriate heat accumulation in a relatively simple process.

[0010] In some embodiments, multiple grooves are arranged along the circumference of the lens barrel to form multiple annular structures. The multiple annular structures can be coaxially arranged, and the spacing between any two adjacent annular structures is the same. For example, the axes of the multiple annular structures are coaxially arranged with the axis of the lens barrel. Given the approximately cylindrical appearance of the lens barrel, the annular structure formed by the grooves can match the structure of the lens barrel, facilitating laser engraving path planning during the laser engraving process, thereby helping to simplify the manufacturing process of the lens barrel.

[0011] In some embodiments, the spacing l between two adjacent annular structures and the diameter d of the groove satisfy the following relationship: d / 2 ≤ l ≤ d. This design allows the edges of the grooves of the two adjacent annular structures to be connected or even overlap, thereby increasing the coverage area of the grooves on the first surface of the lens barrel and utilizing the uneven inner walls of the grooves to reduce the light reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel.

[0012] In some embodiments, within the same annular structure, the spacing s between two adjacent grooves and the groove diameter d satisfy the following relationship: s ≤ d / 2. This dimensioning allows adjacent grooves to overlap, further increasing the groove coverage area on the first surface of the lens barrel and utilizing the uneven inner walls of the grooves to reduce the light reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel.

[0013] In some embodiments, the lens barrel may be made of a material with a light-absorbing effect, so that in addition to the light itself being lost during the reflection process, a portion of the light may be absorbed by the lens barrel, thereby further reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel.

[0014] In a second aspect, the present application further provides a lens barrel, wherein the first surface of the lens barrel includes a plurality of protrusions, the plurality of protrusions being arranged in a disordered state on the first surface of the lens barrel, and the spacing between two adjacent protrusions is greater than or equal to 0.5 μm and less than or equal to 10 μm. In addition, since a recess may be formed between two adjacent protrusions, it can also be understood that the radial dimension of the recess is between 0.5 μm and 10 μm. The plurality of protrusions and the plurality of recesses can give the first surface of the lens barrel an uneven frosted appearance. After light strikes the first surface of the lens barrel, the plurality of protrusions and the plurality of recesses can cause the light to be diffusely reflected, and most of the reflected light will be reflected again on the first surface of the lens barrel. Since light has a certain amount of loss during each reflection process, the light will be weakened after each reflection. After multiple reflections, the light will gradually dissipate on the surface of the lens barrel, thereby reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel. For electronic devices using this lens barrel, the color of the lens barrel, the camera decorative parts, and the lens is substantially consistent, thereby visually reducing the risk of users observing lens barrel eccentricity and improving the user experience.

[0015] In some embodiments, the morphology of the first surface of the lens barrel can be formed by any one of injection molding, nanoimprinting, plasma etching, sandblasting, and chemical treatment. These molding methods have the advantages of low cost and simple process, so that the lens barrel can achieve the low reflectivity characteristics of its first surface at a lower cost.

[0016] In some embodiments, the height of the protrusion can be greater than or equal to 0.5 μm and less than or equal to 10 μm. In addition, the radial dimension of the protrusion can be greater than or equal to 0.5 μm and less than or equal to 10 μm. When the protrusion size is within this range, a better diffuse reflection effect of light can be achieved.

[0017] In some embodiments, the heights of the multiple protrusions can be different, or the heights of some protrusions can be the same and the heights of other protrusions can be different, so as to enhance the frosting effect of the first surface of the lens barrel and help further reduce the reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel.

[0018] In some embodiments, the radial dimensions of the plurality of projections may be different, or the radial dimensions of some projections may be the same, while the radial dimensions of other projections may be different. Similarly, this design can also enhance the frosting effect of the first surface of the lens barrel, thereby helping to further reduce the reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel.

[0019] In some embodiments, the lens barrel may be made of a material with a light-absorbing effect, so that in addition to the light itself being lost during the reflection process, a portion of the light may be absorbed by the lens barrel, thereby further reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel.

[0020] In a third aspect, the present application further provides a lens barrel, wherein the first surface of the lens barrel includes a microstructure layer, the microstructure layer includes multiple granular structures, each of which is a nanoscale structure. The multiple granular structures can be arranged in a disordered state in the horizontal direction of the microstructure layer, and the multiple granular structures can also be arranged in a disordered state in the thickness direction of the microstructure layer, so that the first surface of the lens barrel presents an uneven frosted appearance. After light is irradiated on the first surface of the lens barrel, the granular structure in the microstructure layer causes the light to be diffusely reflected, and most of the reflected light will be reflected again on the first surface of the lens barrel. Since there is a certain amount of loss in each reflection process, the light will be weakened after each reflection. In this way, after multiple reflections, the light will gradually dissipate on the surface of the lens barrel, thereby reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel. For electronic devices using this lens barrel, the color presented by the lens barrel is basically the same as that of the camera decorative parts and lens, so the risk of users observing the lens barrel eccentricity problem can be visually reduced, thereby improving the user experience.

[0021] In some embodiments, the shapes of multiple particle structures can be different, or the shapes of some particle structures can be the same and the shapes of other particle structures can be different, so as to enhance the frosting effect of the first surface of the lens barrel and help further reduce the reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel.

[0022] In some embodiments, the microstructure can be an ink layer. The ink layer may include solvents, resins, pigments, and additives. The proportions of resin, pigments, and additives may be 75-97%, 2-20%, and 1-5%, respectively. The pigment is the primary component of the ink layer used to reduce reflectivity. It exists in the ink layer in the form of tiny particles, and thus the pigment particles form the aforementioned particle structure.

[0023] In some embodiments, the ink layer can be formed by printing, spraying, or inkjet printing, and the thickness of the ink layer can be greater than or equal to 1 μm and less than or equal to 100 μm. Furthermore, the diameter of the pigment particles in the ink layer can be greater than or equal to 0.05 μm and less than or equal to 10 μm, thereby giving the ink layer an uneven, frosted appearance due to the disordered arrangement of the multiple pigment particles in the ink layer.

[0024] In some embodiments, the solvent in the ink layer can be a mixture of one or more substances such as water, alcohols, ketones, or benzene. The resin can be any one of epoxy resin, acrylic resin, polyurethane resin, and polyester resin. The pigment can be a mixture of one or more substances such as carbon black, carbon nanotubes, graphite, and graphene. The additive can be any one of a leveling agent, a defoaming agent, and a surfactant. The additive can promote better forming and coating of the ink, improve the leveling properties of the ink, and reduce the viscosity of the ink.

[0025] In some embodiments, the microstructure layer may also be a carbonized layer. The carbonized particles in the carbonized layer may form the above-mentioned particle structure. The disordered arrangement of the carbonized particles in the carbonized layer causes the carbonized layer to present an uneven frosted state.

[0026] In some embodiments, the carbonized layer can be formed by carbonizing the surface of the lens barrel using a laser engraving process. When the laser spot scans the surface of the lens barrel, the material on the surface of the lens barrel is carbonized under the action of extremely high local temperature and forms granular substances. These granular substances are carbonized particles.

[0027] In some embodiments, the lens barrel may be made of a material with a light-absorbing effect, so that in addition to the light itself being lost during the reflection process, a portion of the light may be absorbed by the lens barrel, thereby further reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel.

[0028] In a fourth aspect, the present application provides a camera module, which includes a module circuit board, a photosensitive chip, a lens, and the lens barrel of any one of the embodiments of the first to third aspects, wherein the lens barrel includes a second surface, and the second surface of the lens barrel is arranged opposite to the first surface. The lens can be arranged in the lens barrel, thereby forming an optical lens of the camera module together with the lens barrel, the side where the first surface of the lens barrel is located is the light input side of the optical lens, and the side where the second surface of the lens barrel is located is the light output side of the optical lens, the module circuit board is located on the light output side of the lens barrel, and the module circuit board is spaced apart from the second surface of the lens barrel, and the photosensitive chip is arranged on the side of the module circuit board facing the lens barrel. The optical lens can receive light on the light input side and emit light on the light output side. The photosensitive chip generates an image signal by collecting the light emitted by the optical lens, thereby enabling the camera module to achieve a shooting function.

[0029] In a fifth aspect, the present application further provides an electronic device, which may include a housing, a camera decorative part, and the camera module described in the fourth aspect. The housing may be provided with an opening, the camera decorative part is disposed within the opening, and the camera decorative part is provided with a light inlet. The first surface of the lens barrel is positioned opposite the light inlet, and the first surface of the lens barrel is at least partially exposed within the light inlet. Due to the frosted surface of the first surface of the lens barrel, the color presented by the lens barrel, the camera decorative part, and the lens is substantially consistent, thereby visually reducing the risk of the user observing the lens barrel eccentricity problem and improving the user experience. However, the embodiments of the present application can be implemented in a variety of other ways than those described herein, and those skilled in the art can make similar generalizations without violating the connotations of the embodiments of the present application. Therefore, the present application is not limited to the specific embodiments disclosed below.

[0049] FIG1 is a schematic diagram of the structure of an electronic device provided in an embodiment of the present application. Referring to FIG1 , electronic device 1 may be a mobile phone, a tablet personal computer, a laptop computer, a personal digital assistant (PDA), a camera, a personal computer, a notebook computer, an in-vehicle device, a wearable device, augmented reality (AR) glasses, an AR helmet, virtual reality (VR) glasses or a VR helmet, or other devices with photo and video recording capabilities. The electronic device 1 of the embodiment shown in FIG1 is described using a mobile phone as an example.

[0050] FIG2 is a partially exploded schematic diagram of the electronic device shown in FIG1 . Referring to FIG1 and FIG2 , the electronic device 1 may include a housing 100 , a screen 200 , a host circuit board 300 , and a camera module 400 . It should be noted that FIG1 , FIG2 , and the related figures below merely schematically illustrate some of the components included in the electronic device 1 , and the actual shape, size, position, and structure of these components are not limited by FIG1 , FIG2 , and the figures below. Furthermore, when the electronic device 1 is a device of some other form, the electronic device 1 may also not include the screen 200 and the host circuit board 300 .

[0051] For ease of description, the width direction of the electronic device 1 is defined as the first direction (X-axis), the length direction of the electronic device 1 is defined as the second direction (Y-axis), and the thickness direction of the electronic device 1 is defined as the third direction (Z-axis). It is understood that the coordinate system setting of the electronic device 1 can be flexibly set according to specific actual needs.

[0052] The housing 100 includes a middle frame 110 and a back cover 120. The back cover 120 is fixed to one side of the middle frame 110. In one embodiment, the back cover 120 is fixed to the middle frame 110 by adhesive. In another embodiment, the back cover 120 and the middle frame 110 form an integral structure.

[0053] Referring again to Figure 2 , the screen 200 is fixed to the other side of the middle frame 110. At this point, the screen 200 and the back cover 120 are positioned opposite each other. The screen 200, the middle frame 110, and the back cover 120 together enclose the interior of the electronic device 1. The interior of the electronic device 1 can be used to house components of the electronic device 1, such as a battery, a receiver, and a microphone.

[0054] In this embodiment, the screen 200 can be used to display images, text, and the like. The screen 200 can be either flat or curved. The screen 200 includes a first cover plate 210 and a display screen 220. The first cover plate 210 is superimposed on the side of the display screen 220 facing away from the middle frame 110. The first cover plate 210 can be positioned in close proximity to the display screen 220 and can primarily serve to protect and prevent dust from the display screen 220. The material of the first cover plate 210 can be, but is not limited to, glass.

[0055] Figure 3 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the electronic device shown in Figure 1 taken along line AA. Referring to Figures 2 and 3 , a host circuit board 300 is secured within the interior of the electronic device 1. Specifically, the host circuit board 300 can be secured to the side of the screen 200 facing the rear cover 120. The host circuit board 300 can be used to house chips, such as a central processing unit (CPU), a graphics processing unit (GPU), and universal flash storage (UFS).

[0056] Please continue to refer to Figures 2 and 3. The camera module 400 is fixed inside the electronic device 1. Specifically, the camera module 400 is fixed to the side of the screen 200 facing the back cover 120. In addition, the host circuit board 300 is provided with an avoidance space 310. The shape of the avoidance space 310 is not limited to the rectangle shown in Figures 1 and 2. The camera module 400 is located in the avoidance space 310. In this way, in the Z-axis direction, the camera module 400 and the host circuit board 300 have an overlapping area, thereby avoiding the problem of the thickness of the electronic device 1 increasing due to the camera module 400 being stacked on the host circuit board 300. Of course, in other embodiments, the host circuit board 300 may not be provided with the avoidance space 310. In this case, the camera module 400 can be stacked on the host circuit board 300, or be spaced apart from the host circuit board 300.

[0057] In this embodiment, the camera module 400 is electrically connected to the host circuit board 300. Specifically, the camera module 400 is electrically connected to the CPU via the host circuit board 300. When the CPU receives a user instruction, it can send a signal to the camera module 400 via the host circuit board 300 to control the camera module 400 to capture an image or record a video. In other embodiments, when the electronic device 1 is not provided with a host circuit board 300, the camera module 400 can also directly receive user instructions and capture an image or record a video according to the user's instructions.

[0058] The camera module may include an optical lens 410, a module circuit board 420, and a photosensitive chip 430. The optical lens 410 includes a light-input side 410a and a light-output side 410b. The optical lens 410 can receive light at the light-input side 410a and emit light at the light-output side 410b. The module circuit board 420 is fixed to the light-output side of the optical lens 410, that is, the module circuit board 420 is located on the image side of the optical lens 410. The module circuit board 420 can be electrically connected to the host circuit board 300 so that signals can be transmitted between the host circuit board 300 and the module circuit board 420. The photosensitive chip 430 is fixed to the side of the module circuit board 420 facing the optical lens 410. The photosensitive chip 430 is electrically connected to the module circuit board 420. Thus, after the photosensitive chip 430 collects light from the light-emitting side 410b of the optical lens 410, the photosensitive chip 430 can generate a signal based on the light and transmit the signal to the host circuit board 300 via the module circuit board 420. Exemplarily, the photosensitive chip 430 can be an image sensor such as a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) or a charge coupled device (CCD).

[0059] In addition, the camera module 400 may further include a filter 440, which is located on the side of the photosensitive chip 430 facing the optical lens 410. The filter 440 can be used to filter the stray light of the ambient light passing through the optical lens 410, and transmit the filtered ambient light to the photosensitive chip 430, thereby ensuring that the image captured by the electronic device has better clarity. The filter 440 can be, but is not limited to, a blue glass filter. For example, the filter 440 can also be a reflective infrared filter, or a double-pass filter (a double-pass filter can allow visible light and infrared light in the ambient light to pass through at the same time, or allow visible light and other specific wavelengths of light (such as ultraviolet light) in the ambient light to pass through at the same time, or allow infrared light and other specific wavelengths of light (such as ultraviolet light) to pass through at the same time).

[0060] Continuing with reference to FIG3 , the back cover 120 is provided with an opening 121, which connects the interior of the electronic device 1 with the exterior of the electronic device 1. The electronic device 1 also includes a camera decorative member 122 and a second cover plate 123. The camera decorative member 122 is disposed within the opening 121 and is fixedly connected to the back cover 120. For example, the camera decorative member 122 can be fixed within the opening 121 by bonding or interference fit. In addition, to improve the reliability of the connection between the camera decorative member 122 and the back cover 120, the end of the camera decorative member 122 facing the interior of the electronic device can have a flange 1221, which can be fixedly connected to the inner surface of the back cover 120. The camera decorative member 122 is provided with a light inlet 1222, which also connects the interior of the electronic device 1 with the exterior of the electronic device 1. The light inlet 1222 can expose the light-inlet side 410a of the optical lens 410 inside the electronic device. The second cover 123 is fixed in the light inlet 1222, thereby isolating the interior of the electronic device 1 from the exterior of the electronic device 1 and reducing the entry of external water or dust into the interior of the electronic device 1 through the light inlet. The second cover 123 is made of a transparent material, such as glass or plastic.

[0061] Taking into account installation and manufacturing errors, the radial dimension of the light inlet 1222 is generally larger than the radial dimension of the light-entering side 410a of the optical lens 410, so that the light-entering side 410a of the optical lens 410 can be fully exposed within the light inlet 1222. In some embodiments, the edge area of the second cover plate 123 can be coated with ink to shield other structures inside the electronic device 1 except the light-entering side 410a of the optical lens 410, thereby improving the appearance design of the electronic device 1. The inner area of the second cover plate 123 is opposite to the light-entering side of the optical lens, and the inner area of the second cover plate 123 can be formed as a light-transmitting area so that the light-entering side 410a of the optical lens 410 can collect light entering the interior of the electronic device 1 through this light-transmitting area.

[0062] FIG4 is a schematic diagram of the structure of an optical lens provided in an embodiment of the present application. Referring to FIG3 and FIG4 , in an embodiment of the present application, the optical lens 410 may include a lens barrel 411 and a lens 412 disposed in the lens barrel 411. The number of lenses 412 may be one or more. If there are multiple lenses 412, the multiple lenses 412 may be arranged in the lens barrel 411 along the axial direction of the lens barrel 411. The axial direction of the lens barrel 411 may be arranged in a direction from the light-incoming side 410a of the optical lens 410 to the light-outgoing side 410b thereof. On the light-incoming side 410a of the optical lens 410, the lens barrel 411 includes a first surface 411a disposed toward the light-incoming hole 1222 of the camera decorative member 122. On the light-outgoing side 410b of the optical lens 410, the lens barrel 411 includes a second surface 411b disposed toward the photosensitive chip 430. It is easy to understand that the cross-sectional shapes of the first surface 411a and the second surface 411b of the lens barrel 411 are both annular. The first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 may be partially or completely exposed in the light inlet 1222. It should be noted that when the edge of the second cover plate 123 is coated with ink, the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 may be partially or completely exposed in the light-transmitting area inside the second cover plate 123.

[0063] During the assembly process, due to limited assembly precision, the optical lens 410 often decentered. The axis of the lens 412 may be misaligned with the axis of the lens barrel 411, and the axis of the lens barrel 411 may be misaligned with the axis of the light inlet 1222. Furthermore, due to the color difference between the lens barrel 411, the lens 412, and the camera trim 122, any decentering issue is easily visible to the user from the exterior of the electronic device, thus degrading the user experience.

[0064] To address the above-mentioned problem, the embodiment of the present application reduces the light reflectivity of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 by specially designing the lens barrel 411. After the ambient light enters the interior of the electronic device 1 through the light inlet 1222 and falls on the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411, the low reflectivity characteristic of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 can be utilized to consume and absorb the light inside the electronic device 1, thereby making the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 have a matte effect. In this way, from the appearance of the electronic device 1, the colors presented by the camera decoration 122, the lens barrel 411, and the lens 412 are basically the same. Even if an eccentricity problem occurs, it is not easy for the user to observe, which is beneficial to improving the user experience.

[0065] FIG5 is a schematic diagram of the partial structure of a lens barrel 411 provided in an embodiment of the present application, wherein the partial structure of the lens barrel 411 including its first surface 411a is shown. Referring to FIG5 , in an embodiment of the present application, the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 includes a plurality of protrusions 41111, and the plurality of protrusions 41111 and the plurality of depressions 41112 are densely arranged in a disordered state along the horizontal direction of the microstructure layer 4111 (i.e., the x-direction shown in FIG5 ). It is easy to understand that a depression 41112 can be formed between two adjacent protrusions 41111, and the plurality of protrusions and the plurality of depressions give the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 an uneven frosted shape.

[0066] In some embodiments, the heights of the plurality of protrusions 41111 may vary, or some of the protrusions 41111 may have the same height while others may have different heights. For example, the height of the protrusions 41111 may be greater than or equal to 0.5 μm and less than or equal to 10 μm. Similarly, the depths of the plurality of recesses 41112 may vary, or some of the recesses 41112 may have the same depth while others may have different depths. For example, the depth of the recesses 41112 may be greater than or equal to 0.5 μm and less than or equal to 10 μm.

[0067] In some embodiments, the radial dimensions of the plurality of protrusions 41111 along the horizontal direction may be different, or the radial dimensions of some of the protrusions 41111 may be the same, while the radial dimensions of other protrusions 41111 are different. Exemplarily, the radial dimension of the protrusion 41111 may be greater than or equal to 0.5um and less than or equal to 10um. Similarly, the radial dimensions of the plurality of recesses 41112 along the horizontal direction may be different, or the radial dimensions of some of the recesses 41112 may be the same, while the radial dimensions of other recesses 41112 are different. Exemplarily, the radial dimension of the recess 41112 may be greater than or equal to 0.5um and less than or equal to 10um. By designing the dimensions of the protrusions and recesses to be within this size range, the frosted lens barrel surface formed can achieve a better diffuse reflection effect on light.

[0068] In some embodiments, the shapes of the plurality of protrusions 41111 may be different, or some of the protrusions 41111 may be the same shape, while others may be different shapes. In addition, the protrusions 41111 may be symmetrical or asymmetrical. For example, the cross-sectional shape of the protrusions 41111 may be an arc, a triangle, a trapezoid, or various regular or irregular polygons. Similarly, the shapes of the plurality of recesses 41112 may be different, or some of the recesses 41112 may be the same shape, while others may be different shapes. In addition, the recesses 41112 may be symmetrical or asymmetrical. For example, the cross-sectional shape of the recesses 41112 may be an arc, a triangle, a trapezoid, or various regular or irregular polygons.

[0069] FIG6 is a schematic diagram illustrating the reflection process of light by the local structure of lens barrel 411 shown in FIG5 . Referring to FIG6 , after light enters the interior of the electronic device through the light inlet and strikes the first surface 411a of lens barrel 411, the protrusions 41111 and recesses 41112 cause the light to be reflected in all directions, or diffusely reflected. Most of the reflected light is reflected again by the first surface 411a of lens barrel 411, leaving only a small portion of the light directed toward other structures within the electronic device or reflected out of the electronic device through the light inlet. Because light is lost during each reflection, it is weakened after each reflection. Consequently, after multiple reflections, the light gradually dissipates on the surface of lens barrel 411. In other words, the vast majority of light that is irradiated by the light inlet and reaches the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 is consumed, thereby significantly reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411, giving the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 a matte finish. This results in the lens barrel 411, the camera trim, and the lens having substantially the same color. When a user observes the interior of the electronic device through the light inlet, it is difficult to discern the relative positions of the three, and therefore, it is difficult to detect whether there is an eccentricity issue, thereby improving the user experience. Verification has shown that by providing the aforementioned protrusions 41111 and recesses 41112 on the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411, the light reflectivity of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 can be reduced to below 3%.

[0070] In addition, the lens barrel 411 can be made of a material with light absorption effect, so that in addition to the light loss itself during the reflection process, a part of the light can be absorbed by the lens barrel 411, thereby further reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411.

[0071] In the embodiment of the present application, the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 can be formed by a variety of processes. For example, in some embodiments, during the integral injection molding of the lens barrel 411, the molding surface of the first surface 411a used for molding the lens barrel 411 in the injection mold can be specially designed so that the molding surface of the first surface 411a is an uneven frosted form, and then the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 is molded using this molding surface. It is easy to understand that the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 molded by the injection mold is a complementary relationship with the molding surface of the mold, that is, the protrusion of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 is formed by the depression of the molding surface, and the depression of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 is formed by the protrusion in the molding surface. Wherein, the molding surface of the mold can be processed using the method of ultra-precision machining, such as electric spark, sandblasting, chemical treatment, etc.

[0072] In another injection molding method, a mold piece with a frosted surface can be pre-processed, and then the mold piece is inserted into the injection mold, and the frosted surface of the mold piece is used as the molding surface for injection molding to form the first surface of the lens barrel 411. Similarly, the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 formed by the mold piece is also complementary to the surface of the mold piece. The surface of the mold piece can be processed by ultra-precision machining methods such as electrospark machining, sandblasting, chemical treatment, etc., or by laser direct writing, laser surface treatment, etc.

[0073] In addition to the above-mentioned injection molding method, the embodiment of the present application can also form the above-mentioned protrusions 41111 and recesses 41112 features on the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 by nanoimprinting, plasma etching, sandblasting, chemical treatment, etc. on the formed lens barrel 411.

[0074] Among them, nanoimprinting can use a structure with a frosted surface as a mold, use the imprinting glue as a carrier for pattern transfer, press the mold onto the imprinting glue, and then solidify the imprinting glue to retain the frosted morphology of the imprinting glue surface. The imprinting glue can then serve as the microstructure layer 4111 of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411.

[0075] Plasma etching is performed by placing the lens barrel 411 in an etching gas, and using a mask structure to block the surfaces of the lens barrel 411 except the first surface 411a, as well as a local area of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411, during the etching process. Then, the portion of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 exposed outside the mask structure is etched. Since the material density at different positions of the lens barrel 411 varies, the portion of the lens barrel 411 exposed outside the mask structure will have different etching speeds at different positions. This speed difference is utilized to form an uneven frosted shape on the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411.

[0076] Similarly, the chemical treatment is to place the lens barrel 411 in a corrosive solution, and during the reaction process, use a mask structure to block the other surfaces of the lens barrel 411 except the first surface 411a, as well as a local area of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411, and then etch the portion of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 exposed outside the mask structure, so that the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 forms an uneven frosted shape.

[0077] Sandblasting is the process of spraying particles of a target size at high speed onto the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 to remove part of the material on the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 through physical impact of the particles, so that the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 forms an uneven frosted shape. The particles used for sandblasting include but are not limited to aluminum oxide, silicon dioxide, etc.

[0078] The above-mentioned molding methods all have the advantages of low cost and simple process, so that the lens barrel 411 can achieve the low reflectivity characteristic of the first surface 411 a at a relatively low cost.

[0079] FIG7 is a schematic diagram of the partial structure of another lens barrel 411 provided in an embodiment of the present application, which shows the partial structure of the lens barrel 411 including its first surface 411a, and FIG8 is a schematic diagram of the partial cross-sectional structure of the lens barrel 411 shown in FIG7. Referring to FIG7 and FIG8 together, in an embodiment of the present application, the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 includes a plurality of grooves 4112 arranged in an array, and the inner wall of each groove 4112 may include a plurality of protrusions 41121, the plurality of protrusions 41121 being densely arranged in a disordered state, and a recess 41122 may be formed between two adjacent protrusions 41121. In this way, the structure of the plurality of protrusions 41121 and the plurality of recesses 41122 can make the inner wall surface of the groove 4112 present an uneven frosted morphology, and the plurality of grooves 4112 with frosted inner walls can make the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 present an overall frosted morphology. The groove 4112 may be a micron-scale structure, and the protrusion 41121 and the depression 41122 may be a nano-scale structure.

[0080] In some embodiments, multiple grooves 4112 can be arranged along the circumference of the lens barrel 411 to form multiple annular structures 4113. The multiple annular structures 4113 can be coaxially arranged, and their common axis can be the axis of the lens barrel 411. In particular, along the radial direction of the lens barrel 411, the spacing between any two adjacent annular structures 4113 can be equal. In addition, along the circumference of the lens barrel 411, the spacing between the centers of any two adjacent grooves 4112 in each annular structure 4113 can also be equal.

[0081] FIG9 is a schematic diagram illustrating the reflection process of light by the partial structure of lens barrel 411 shown in FIG7 . Referring to FIG9 , after light enters the interior of the electronic device through the light inlet and strikes the first surface 411a of lens barrel 411, the groove 4112 and the protrusions 41121 and depressions 41122 within the groove 4112 cause the light to undergo diffuse reflection. Most of the reflected light is then reflected again by the first surface 411a of lens barrel 411, with only a small portion of the light being directed toward other structures within the electronic device or reflected out of the electronic device through the light inlet. Since light is lost during each reflection, it is weakened after each reflection. Consequently, after multiple reflections, the light gradually dissipates on the surface of lens barrel 411. Therefore, the vast majority of light irradiated from the light inlet to the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 is consumed by the protrusions 41121 and depressions 41122 within the grooves 4112, thereby significantly reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 and giving the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 a matte finish. This results in the lens barrel 411 being substantially consistent in color with the camera trim and lens, making it difficult for a user to discern any decentration when observing the interior of the electronic device through the light inlet, thereby improving the user experience. Verification has shown that by providing the aforementioned multiple grooves 4112 on the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 and forming multiple nanometer-scale protrusions 41121 and depressions 41122 on the inner wall of each groove 4112, the light reflectivity of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 can be reduced to below 3%.

[0082] In addition, the lens barrel 411 can be made of a material with light absorption effect, so that in addition to the light loss itself during the reflection process, a part of the light can be absorbed by the lens barrel 411, thereby further reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411.

[0083] In an embodiment of the present application, the topography of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 can be formed by a laser engraving process using pulsed laser reciprocating scanning. The laser equipment used in the processing process includes a laser, a beam scanning system, and a tool. Among them, the laser can use an external gate mode, the laser power is ≤100w, and the maximum repetition frequency is ≥1MHz; the beam scanning system includes a two-position scanning galvanometer and supporting optical elements such as reflection, beam expansion, and collimation. The maximum scanning speed of the galvanometer at the focal plane of the galvanometer is ≥3m / s; the tool is used to carry the lens barrel 411 to be processed. The lens barrel 411 can be loaded on the tool manually or by automatic loading and unloading equipment (such as a robotic arm, etc.). The tool can be fixed near the focal plane of the laser beam so that after the lens barrel 411 is loaded on the tool, the surface of the lens barrel 411 is within the focal plane of the laser beam. In addition, the lens barrel 411 can be processed using a multi-station platform such as a turntable or assembly line to improve production efficiency.

[0084] In some other embodiments, the beam scanning system can also realize fixed emission of the laser beam based on the objective lens, and the two-dimensional / three-dimensional translation stage carries the lens barrel 411 to move, thereby realizing scanning of the light beam on the surface of the lens barrel 411.

[0085] Among them, the wavelength of the laser can be selected from any one of 10.6um, 1064 / 1030nm (infrared light), 532 / 525nm (green light), and 355 / 343nm (ultraviolet light); the frequency of the laser can be between 10w and 100w, so that the laser power density on the surface of the lens barrel 411 is greater than the melting threshold of the lens barrel 411 material, so that when the laser beam hits the lens barrel 411, a groove 4112 can be formed on the surface of the lens barrel 411, so that the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 finally formed presents an uneven frosted shape.

[0086] Figure 10 is a schematic diagram illustrating the laser engraving process for forming the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 shown in Figure 7 by laser engraving. Figure 11 is a schematic diagram illustrating the path of laser engraving of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 shown in Figure 7. Referring to Figures 10 and 11 together, as previously described, the grooves on the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 are arranged in an array. The array can be considered to be composed of a plurality of lines arranged in a certain pattern, and the position of each line can be considered a laser engraving path during the laser engraving process. For example, in the embodiment shown in Figure 10, the positions of the multiple circular lines can serve as multiple laser engraving paths. By designing the laser engraving paths as circular, they match the approximately cylindrical shape of the lens barrel 411, simplifying path planning and, in turn, streamlining the manufacturing process for the lens barrel 411. During the processing, multiple laser engraving paths are first determined on the surface of the lens barrel 411, and then the laser equipment is controlled so that the laser spot emitted by the laser scans each laser engraving path at a preset scanning speed v1. The number of scans for each laser engraving path can be 1 to 3 times.

[0087] When the laser spot scans lens barrel 411, the ultrafast laser reduces the surface of the lens barrel 411 at the scanned location, forming a groove at the location where the laser spot was scanned. Furthermore, under the irradiation of the laser, heat accumulates within the formed groove, which further reduces the material of the inner wall of the groove, forming a disordered array of protrusions and depressions on the inner wall of the groove.

[0088] Referring to Figures 9 through 11 , the diameter of the laser spot is defined as D1. In this embodiment, the laser scanning speed v1 satisfies the following equation: v1 < D1 / (2*f1), where f1 is the laser pulse repetition frequency. As will be readily understood, the laser spot diameter D1 is comparable to or slightly smaller than the groove diameter d. Depending on the selected laser wavelength, the laser spot diameter D1 can range from 2 μm to 40 μm. Therefore, the diameter d of the formed groove 4112 is greater than or equal to 2 μm and less than or equal to 40 μm.

[0089] The spacing L1 between two adjacent laser engraving paths is also roughly equal to the spacing l between two adjacent annular structures. The spacing L1 between two adjacent laser engraving paths satisfies the following relationship: D1 / 2 ≤ L1 ≤ D1. Therefore, the spacing l between two adjacent annular structures 4113 and the diameter d of the groove 4112 satisfy the following relationship: d / 2 ≤ l ≤ d. This allows the edges of the grooves 4112 of two adjacent annular structures 4113 to at least partially overlap, thereby increasing the coverage area of the grooves 4112 on the first surface of the lens barrel 411. The uneven inner walls of the grooves 4112 can be used to reduce the light reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel 411.

[0090] Furthermore, along the circumference of the lens barrel 411, the spacing s between the centers of two adjacent grooves 4112 in each annular structure 4113 and the diameter d of the groove 4112 satisfy the following relationship: s ≤ d / 2. Similarly, this design and sizing allows adjacent grooves 4112 to overlap. From a macroscopic perspective, the multiple grooves 4112 of the annular structure 4113 are sequentially connected to form a continuous annular groove, thereby further increasing the coverage area of the grooves 4112 on the first surface of the lens barrel 411. The uneven inner walls of the grooves 4112 reduce the light reflectivity of the first surface of the lens barrel 411.

[0091] FIG12 is a schematic diagram of the partial structure of another lens barrel 411 provided in an embodiment of the present application, wherein the partial structure of the lens barrel 411 including its first surface 411a is shown. Referring to FIG12 , in an embodiment of the present application, the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 includes a microstructure layer 4111, and the microstructure layer 4111 includes a plurality of nanoscale granular structures 41113. These granular structures 41113 can be distributed along the horizontal direction of the microstructure layer 4111 (i.e., the x-direction shown in FIG12 ) and can also be distributed along the thickness direction of the microstructure layer 4111 (i.e., the y-direction shown in FIG12 ). The granular structures 41113 are arranged in a disordered state in both the horizontal direction and the thickness direction of the microstructure layer 4111, so that the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 produces microscopic roughness, presenting an uneven frosted morphology.

[0092] The multiple granular structures 41113 in the microstructure layer 4111 can be arranged in contact with each other, or can be separated by other substances in the microstructure layer 4111. The shapes of the multiple granular structures 41113 can be different, or some granular structures 41113 can have the same shape, while other granular structures 41113 have different shapes. In addition, the granular structures 41113 can have symmetrical or asymmetrical structures. For example, the shapes of the granular structures 41113 can be spherical, cylindrical, or various regular or irregular polyhedral shapes.

[0093] FIG13 is a schematic diagram illustrating the reflection process of light by the local structure of lens barrel 411 shown in FIG12 . Referring to FIG13 , after light enters the interior of the electronic device through the light inlet and strikes the first surface 411a of lens barrel 411, the granular structure 41113 in microstructure layer 4111 causes the light to undergo diffuse reflection. Therefore, the vast majority of light irradiated by the light inlet to the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 is consumed by the microstructure layer 4111, thereby significantly reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 and giving the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 a matte finish. This results in the lens barrel 411 being substantially consistent in color with the camera trim and lens. When a user observes the interior of the electronic device through the light inlet, it is less likely to detect any decentration issues, thereby improving the user experience. Verification has shown that providing the aforementioned granular structure 41113 on the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 can reduce the light reflectivity of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 to below 3%.

[0094] In addition, the lens barrel 411 can be made of a material with light absorption effect, so that in addition to the light loss itself during the reflection process, a part of the light can be absorbed by the lens barrel 411, thereby further reducing the light reflectivity of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411.

[0095] In some embodiments, microstructure layer 4111 may be an ink layer. The components of the ink layer may include solvents, resins, pigments, and additives. Pigments are the primary component of the ink layer used to reduce reflectivity and exist in the ink layer in the form of tiny particles. Therefore, the pigment particles constitute the aforementioned particle structure 41113. In this embodiment, the proportions of resin, pigment, and additives in the ink used to form the ink layer may be 75-97%, 2-20%, and 1-5%, respectively. The resin may be any one of epoxy resin, acrylic resin, polyurethane resin, and polyester resin. The pigment may be a mixture of one or more substances such as carbon black, carbon nanotubes, graphite, and graphene. The purpose of additives is to facilitate better ink coating, improve ink leveling, and reduce ink viscosity. Additives include leveling agents, defoamers, and surfactants. The solvent may be a mixture of one or more substances such as water, alcohols, ketones, or benzene.

[0096] In addition, the ink layer can be formed by printing, spraying or inkjet printing, and the thickness of the ink layer can be greater than or equal to 1 um and less than or equal to 100 um.

[0097] With reference to Figures 14 and 15 , Figure 14 is a schematic diagram of the partial structure of another lens barrel 411 provided in an embodiment of the present application, and Figure 15 is a schematic diagram of the partial structure of the lens barrel 411 shown in Figure 14 reflecting light, wherein Figure 14 shows the partial structure of the lens barrel 411 including its first surface 411a. In this embodiment, the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 may also include a microstructure layer 4111, which is substantially the same as the structure of the embodiment shown in Figure 12. The reflection process of the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 is also similar to the above-mentioned embodiment, and no further details will be repeated here. Unlike the embodiment shown in Figure 12, the microstructure layer 4111 in this embodiment can be a carbonized layer, for example, a photocarbonized layer obtained by laser subtractive carbonization of the surface of the lens barrel 411. In this case, the carbonized particles in the carbonized layer are the above-mentioned particle structure 41113.

[0098] In some embodiments, the carbonized layer can be formed by carbonizing the surface of the lens barrel 411 through a laser engraving process to form the first surface 411a. The laser equipment used in the laser engraving process can be configured with reference to the laser equipment in the embodiment shown in FIG7 , and the details are not repeated here.

[0099] In this embodiment, short pulse or ultrashort pulse laser can be used in the carbonization layer processing process, and the wavelength can be selected from any one of 1064 / 1030nm (infrared light), 532 / 525nm (green light), and 355 / 343nm (ultraviolet light), among which ultraviolet light can be selected from any one of nanosecond, picosecond, and femtosecond pulse widths, and infrared light and green light can be selected from any one of picosecond and femtosecond pulse widths; the frequency of the laser can be between 10w and 100w, so that the laser power density on the surface of the barrel 411 is greater than the ablation threshold of the barrel 411 material.

[0100] Figure 16 is a schematic diagram illustrating the path of laser engraving on the first surface 411a of the lens barrel 411 shown in Figure 14. Referring to Figure 16, during the processing, multiple laser engraving paths are first designed on the surface of the lens barrel. These multiple laser engraving paths can be arranged in an array. For example, the multiple laser engraving paths can be coaxially arranged annular lines with a common axis that can be the axis of the lens barrel. Along the radial direction of the lens barrel, the spacing L2 between any two adjacent laser engraving paths can be equal. During the processing, the laser equipment is controlled so that the laser spot emitted by the laser scans each laser engraving path at a preset scanning speed v2. Each laser engraving path can be scanned 1 to 3 times.

[0101] When the laser spot scans the surface of the lens barrel, the material on the surface of the lens barrel is carbonized under the action of the local extremely high temperature and forms granular substances. These granular substances are the above-mentioned carbonized particles.

[0102] The diameter of the laser spot is defined as D2, and the spacing L2 between two adjacent laser engraving paths can satisfy: L2 < 1 / 10 * D2. The laser scanning speed v2 satisfies: v2 < D2 / (10 * f1), where f2 is the repetition frequency of the laser pulse.
