Description

Locking device for opening and closing body

[0001] The present invention relates to a locking device for an opening / closing body, which is attached to an opening of a fixed body so as to be able to open and close the opening, for locking the opening / closing body in a closed state.

[0002] For example, an opening formed in a fixed body such as a console box of an automobile is provided with an opening / closing body such as a lid that can be opened and closed. A locking device is often provided between the opening and the opening / closing body, which locks the opening / closing body when it is closed and unlocks the opening / closing body when it is opened.

[0003] The following Patent Document 1 describes a locking device that is attached to an opening / closing body that is capable of opening and closing an opening of a fixed body, and that includes a base member, a lock bar member that is slidably supported on the base member, and a drive member that moves in response to user operation to slide the lock bar member, and the lock bar member has a locking portion that can be engaged and disengaged with a locking hole in the fixed body, a first bar portion that extends in the sliding direction of the lock bar member, and a second bar portion that extends in a direction intersecting the sliding direction and connects the first bar portion and the locking portion.

[0004] A pair of cylindrical portions with insertion holes formed therein hangs down from both widthwise sides of the tip end of the opening / closing body. Furthermore, a pair of box-shaped portions hang down from both widthwise sides of the base end of the base member, with first and second protrusions protruding from the interior of each box-shaped portion. Furthermore, guide grooves are formed on both sides of the first bar of the locking bar member, into which the first and second protrusions are inserted to slide and guide the locking bar member.

[0005] The guide groove of the lock bar member is aligned with the protrusion portion of the box-shaped portion of the base member, and the lock bar member is inserted and positioned inside the box-shaped portion. The box-shaped portion of the base member together with the lock bar member is then inserted into the tubular portion of the opening / closing body, so that the lock bar member can be slidably attached to the opening / closing body.

[0006] WO2022 / 004532A1

[0007] In the case of the locking device of Patent Document 1, when attaching a base member having a first protrusion portion and a second protrusion portion that guide the sliding of the lock bar member to the opening / closing body or the fixed body, the attachment workability was not good.

[0008] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a locking device for an opening / closing body that can improve the workability of attaching a guide member to a fixed body or an opening / closing body.

[0009] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a locking device for an opening / closing body that locks an opening / closing body that is attached to an opening of a fixed body in an openable / closable manner in a closed state relative to the opening, the locking device comprising: a locking portion provided on one of the fixed body or the opening / closing body; a locking member that is disposed on the other of the fixed body or the opening / closing body and has a locking protrusion that slides to engage and disengage with the locking portion; an operating member that is disposed on the other of the fixed body or the opening / closing body and operates the locking member; a cylindrical protrusion that protrudes from the other of the fixed body or the opening / closing body and has an internal space; and a guide member that is disposed in the internal space and guides the sliding movement of the locking protrusion, the cylindrical protrusion and the guide member having a locking portion that communicates with the internal space and an insertion hole is formed through which the locking protrusion is inserted and released, the locking member has an operating part that slides the locking protrusion in a direction to engage and disengage with the locking part in conjunction with the operating member, legs that extend from the operating part in a direction intersecting the sliding direction of the locking protrusion and are inserted into the internal space, and the locking protrusion that protrudes from the legs in the sliding direction, and the guide member has a locking protrusion guide that slides and guides the locking protrusion along the sliding direction so that the amount of insertion of the locking protrusion into the insertion hole increases or decreases, and an elastic engaging part that is elastically deformable and engages with the cylindrical protrusion to hold the guide member in place and prevent it from slipping out of the internal space.

[0010] According to the locking device for an opening / closing body of the present invention, the guide member is simply inserted into the internal space of the cylindrical protrusion, and the elastic engagement portion engages with the cylindrical protrusion, preventing the guide member from slipping out of the internal space, thereby improving the ease of installation of the guide member to the fixed body or opening / closing body.

[0012] (First Embodiment of Locking Device for Opening / Closing Body) Hereinafter, a first embodiment of a locking device for an opening / closing body according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0013] 11 and 12, a locking device 10 for an opening / closing body (hereinafter referred to as "locking device 10") in this embodiment locks an opening / closing body 20, such as a lid that is openably attached to an opening 3 of a fixed body 1, such as a console box of a vehicle, in a closed state relative to the opening 3 of the fixed body 1, and opens the opening / closing body in the locked state. Note that the opening / closing body 20 extends a predetermined length, but for convenience, only the tip end (one end) side in the extending direction is shown in the drawings.

[0014] As shown in Figures 1 and 11, the locking device 10 of this embodiment is mainly composed of a pair of locking portions 5, 5 (see Figure 11) provided on the fixed body 1, a locking member 40 that is disposed on the opening / closing body 20 and has a pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 that slide to engage and disengage with the pair of locking portions 5, 5, an operating member 60 that is disposed on the opening / closing body 20 and has an operating portion 61 and a pressing portion 63 connected to the operating portion 61, and that operates the locking member 40, and a pair of guide members 70, 70 that guide the sliding movement of the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55.

[0015] The operating member 60 slides along the extension direction of the opening / closing body 20, and its pressing portion 63 presses the pressed portion (here, the connecting portion 43) of the locking member 40. As shown in Figures 3 and 9, the pressing direction of the pressing portion 63 against the connecting portion 43, which is the pressed portion, is referred to as "pressing direction F1."

[0016] The pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 are configured to slide in a direction intersecting the extension direction of the opening / closing body 20. As shown in Figures 3 and 9, the sliding direction of the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 is referred to as a "sliding direction F2."

[0017] 7, a cylindrical protrusion 25 having an internal space R protrudes from the opening / closing body 20. As shown in FIG. 8, the cylindrical protrusion 25 and the guide member 70 are formed with insertion holes 30 and 75 that communicate with the internal space R and through which the locking protrusion 55 is inserted and removed.

[0018] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 1, 2, 4, etc., the locking member 40 has an operating portion 41 that slides the locking protrusion 55 in the direction of engaging and disengaging with the locking portion 5 in conjunction with the operating member 60, a pair of legs 50, 50 that extend from the operating portion 41 in a direction intersecting the sliding direction F2 of the locking protrusion 55 and are inserted into the internal space R, and a pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 that protrude from the pair of legs 50, 50 in the sliding direction F2.

[0019] The operating portion 41 has a pair of annular portions 42, 42 and a pair of connecting portions 43, 44 that connect the pair of annular portions 42, 42. One of the connecting portions 43 forms a pressed portion that is pressed by the pressing portion 63 of the operating member 60.

[0020] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 2, 4, 6, etc., the guide member 70 has a locking protrusion guide (here, a guide groove 77) that slides and guides the locking protrusion 55 along the sliding direction F2 so as to increase or decrease the amount of insertion of the locking protrusion 55 into the insertion hole 30, 75, and elastically deformable elastic engaging portions (a first elastic engaging portion 79 and a second elastic engaging portion 81) that engage with the cylindrical protrusion 25 when the guide member 70 is inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25 and hold the guide member 70 in place from the internal space R.

[0021] Furthermore, in the locking device for this opening / closing body, when the guide member is attached to the leg, the leg together with the guide member is inserted into the internal space and the elastic engagement portion engages with the tubular protrusion, or when the leg is inserted into the internal space, the guide member is inserted into the internal space and attached to the leg, and the elastic engagement portion engages with the tubular protrusion.

[0022] In this embodiment, with the guide member 70 attached to the leg portion 50, the leg portion 50 is inserted together with the guide member 70 into the internal space R, and the elastic engagement portions 79, 81 engage with the cylindrical protrusion 25. As shown in Figures 5 and 7, the insertion direction of the leg portion 50 into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25 is referred to as "insertion direction F3."

[0023] Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 9 , the opening / closing body 20 has regulating portions 7, 7 that receive the sides of the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 when the operating member 60 is operated and the pressing portion 63 presses the connecting portion 43, which is the pressed portion, and regulate the movement of the locking protrusions 55, 55 in the same direction as the pressing direction F1 of the pressing portion 63 against the connecting portion 43.

[0024] As shown in Figure 11, a fixed body 1 such as a console box has stepped portions 4 formed on both widthwise sides of an opening 3 to support both widthwise sides of an opening / closing body 20, and a pair of locking portions 5, 5 are formed closer to the bottom of the fixed body 1 than these stepped portions 4.

[0025] The opening / closing body 20 of this embodiment is composed of a base portion 21 that is open at the top and a cover portion (not shown) that covers the upper opening of the base portion 21. For ease of explanation, only the base portion 21 is shown in Figures 1, 3, 5, and 7 to 12.

[0026] The base portion 21 has a bottom wall 22 in the shape of a substantially long plate extending a predetermined length in one direction, and a peripheral wall 23 erected from the periphery of the bottom wall 22, and forms a bottomed frame shape with an open top. Note that a base end (other end) of the opening / closing body 20 in the extending direction (not shown) is rotatably supported by the opening 3 of the fixed body 1 to open and close the opening 3 of the fixed body 1.

[0027] A pair of openings 24, 24 each having a substantially rectangular hole shape are formed at the tip (one end) in the extension direction of the base portion 21, on both sides in the width direction (direction perpendicular to the extension direction) of the base portion 21. Furthermore, cylindrical protrusions 25, 25 protrude from the rear (outer) peripheral edges of the pair of openings 24, 24, respectively.

[0028] Each cylindrical protrusion 25 is composed of a pair of side walls 25a, 25a arranged parallel to each other, a connecting wall 25b connecting one end of the pair of side walls 25a, 25a and arranged opposite the opposing cylindrical protrusion 25, a connecting wall 25c connecting the other ends of the pair of side walls 25a, 25a and arranged opposite the connecting wall 25b, and a bottom wall 25d arranged on the lower end side of each wall 25a, 25b, 25c in the protruding direction, and forms an approximately square cylindrical shape with a bottom and an internal space R inside.

[0029] The above-mentioned "rear side" or "rear side" refers to the side or surface that is located in the direction in which the opening / closing body 20 closes. On the other hand, the "front side" or "front surface side" refers to the side opposite to the "rear side" or "rear surface side," i.e., the side or surface that is located in the direction in which the opening / closing body opens from the opening of a fixed body such as a vehicle. Furthermore, when the fixed body is provided in a vehicle, the side facing the interior space of the vehicle may be referred to as the "front side" or "front surface side," and the opposite side may be referred to as the "rear side" or "rear surface side."

[0030] The above terms "front side," "surface side," "back side," and "rear side" have the same meanings for other members (locking member, operating member, guide member, etc.) described below.

[0031] 8, an engagement rib 26 extending along the protruding direction of the cylindrical protruding portion 25 is formed on the inner surface (the surface facing the internal space R) of the connecting wall 25b of each cylindrical protruding portion 25 that is disposed opposite the mating cylindrical protruding portion 25. The engagement rib 26 is formed with an engagement groove 26a that engages with the second elastic engagement portion 81 of the guide member 70.

[0032] 7, a pair of positioning ribs 27, 27 is provided on the inner surface (the surface facing the internal space R) of the bottom wall 25d of each cylindrical protrusion 25. A positioning groove 27a is formed in each positioning rib 27, with which a positioning protrusion 85 (described later) of the guide member 70 engages.

[0033] As shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of ribs 28 are formed on the inner surface of the bottom wall 22 of the base portion 21, on the periphery of the opening 24 on the outer side (inner side).

[0034] Of the multiple ribs 28, a pair of ribs 28a, 28a located on the connecting wall 25c side are positioned close to the outside of a pair of guide protrusions 87, 87 (see Figure 4) of the guide member 70 when the guide member 70 is attached to the leg portion 50 and the leg portion 50 together with the guide member 70 is inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion portion 25 (see Figure 5), thereby guiding the insertion of the guide member 70 into the internal space R.

[0035] Furthermore, a pair of ribs 28b, 28b arranged inside the pair of ribs 28a, 28a extend obliquely inward toward the bottom wall 25d of the cylindrical protrusion 25. These ribs 28b, 28b press against the inclined portion 57 of the locking protrusion 55, causing the pair of locking protrusions 55 to slide closer to each other when the leg 50 together with the guide member 70 is inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25 (see FIG. 5 ) with the guide member 70 attached to the leg 50.

[0036] In addition, the connecting wall 25c of each cylindrical protrusion 25 is positioned away from the opposing cylindrical protrusion 25, and at a position close to the bottom wall 25d, an insertion hole 30 having an approximately square hole shape is formed to allow the locking protrusion 55 to be inserted and removed.

[0037] 1, a protrusion hole 31 having an elongated shape extending in the width direction of the base portion 21 is formed in the peripheral wall 23 constituting the base portion 21 at a portion located at the tip end in the extension direction of the base portion 21. One end of the operating member 60 protrudes from this protrusion hole 31 (see FIG. 3).

[0038] A pair of generally U-shaped side walls 32 extend parallel to each other from both widthwise sides of the protrusion hole 31 of the peripheral wall 23 toward the base end in the extension direction of the base portion 21. A spring arrangement projection 33 is provided between the pair of side walls 32. Furthermore, a guide groove 34 extending in the extension direction of the base portion 21 is formed on the side of each of the pair of side walls 32 on the spring arrangement projection 33 side.

[0039] To describe this operating member 60 in more detail, the operating member 60 in this embodiment has an operating portion 61 that is approximately in the shape of a square plate, and a pressing portion 63 that is approximately in the shape of a square pillar and extends a predetermined length from the center of the width of the operating portion 61 at the other end of the operating portion 61.

[0040] A plurality of guide ridges 65 are provided on both sides in the width direction of the operating part 61, on both the front and back sides. Of these, a pair of guide ridges 65, 65 on the back side of the operating part 61 are inserted into a pair of guide grooves 34, 34 provided in the opening / closing body 20, thereby guiding the sliding movement of the operating member 60 along the pressing direction F1 of the pressing part 63 relative to the connecting part 43.

[0041] Furthermore, as shown by arrow F1 in Figure 9, when the tip of the pressing portion 63 in the extension direction slides toward the base end side of the opening / closing body 20 in the extension direction, the tip of the pressing portion 63 presses the connecting portion 43 of the locking member 40.

[0042] Furthermore, a spring arrangement hole 67 having a generally elongated hole shape is formed in the operating portion 61. The spring arrangement protrusion 33 provided on the base portion 21 is inserted into this spring arrangement hole 67 (see FIG. 3), and a coil spring (not shown) is interposed between the spring arrangement protrusion 33 and the spring arrangement hole 67. This coil spring allows the operating member 60 to be arranged at the tip end side in the extension direction of the base portion 21 while suppressing rattling.

[0043] Returning to the explanation of the opening / closing body 20, a support rib 35 having a protruding stripe extends from the center of the other end of the spring arrangement protrusion 33 toward the base end side in the extension direction of the opening / closing body 20. This support rib 35 supports the back side of the pressing portion 63, stabilizing the pressing action of the pressing portion 63 against the connecting portion 43.

[0044] In addition, a pair of protruding guide ribs 36, 36 extend parallel to each other closer to the base end of the opening / closing body 20 in the extension direction than the support rib 35, and a pair of protruding support ribs 37, 37 extend parallel to each other outside the pair of guide ribs 36, 36.

[0045] The guide protrusion 44a (see FIG. 4) of the locking member 40 is slidably inserted between the pair of guide ribs 36, 36, and guides the pressing action of the pressing portion 63 of the operating member 60 against the connecting portion 43, which is the pressed portion. The pair of support ribs 37, 37 abut against the back side of the base end 45a in the extension direction of the first frame 45 of the locking member 40 and the back side of the connecting portion 44, thereby supporting the locking member 40.

[0046] Next, the locking member 40 will be described in detail.

[0047] As described above, the operating portion 41 of this locking member 40 has a pair of annular portions 42, 42 and connecting portions 43, 44, and as shown in Figures 1 to 4 and 9, each annular portion 42, 42 is connected to a pair of first frames 45, 45, a pair of second frames 46, 46, and a pair of third frames 47, 47, each of which is elastically deformable, to form a continuous annular shape without any breaks or notches.

[0048] 9 , the pair of first frames 45, 45 are disposed on either side of the pressing portion 63 of the operating member 60, and extend in the opposite direction to the pressing direction F1 of the pressing portion 63. A base end 45a in the extension direction of each first frame 45 is located on the base end side of the opening / closing body 20 in the extension direction, and a tip end 45b in the extension direction of each first frame 45 is located on the tip side of the opening / closing body 20 in the extension direction.

[0049] In addition, in the first frame 45, the second frame 46, and the third frame 47, the base end in the extension direction means the starting end in the direction in which each frame extends, and the tip end in the extension direction means the end end in the direction in which each frame extends.

[0050] The pair of second frames 46 extend in directions away from each other from the distal ends 45b of the pair of first frames 45. The distal end 46b of each second frame 46 in the extension direction is disposed at a position spaced apart from the distal end 46b of the mating second frame 46 in the width direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the opening / closing body 20. The base end 46a of each second frame 46 in the extension direction is connected to the distal end 45b of the corresponding first frame 45.

[0051] Furthermore, the pair of third frames 47, 47 have portions 47c that extend obliquely from the tip ends 46b, 46b in the extension direction of the pair of second frames 46, 46 toward the base ends 45a, 45a in the extension direction of the first frames 45, 45 so as to approach each other, and the base ends 47a, 47a in the extension direction are connected to the tip ends 45b, 45b in the extension direction of the second frames 46, 46. The tip 47b in the extension direction of each third frame 47 is connected to the base end 45a of the corresponding first frame 45.

[0052] Furthermore, portions of the pair of first frames 45, 45 closer to the tips 45b, 45b than the base ends 45a, 45a in the extension direction are connected by a connecting portion 43 forming a pressed portion, and the base ends 45a, 45a of the pair of first frames 45, 45 are connected by a connecting portion 44. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 4, a guide protrusion 44a protrudes from the back side of the connecting portion 44 and in the center portion in the width direction, and is inserted and guided between a pair of guide ribs 36, 36 provided on the base portion 21.

[0053] Then, when the operating member 60 is operated from the state shown in Figure 9, the pressing portion 63 slides in the pressing direction F1 and presses the connecting portion 43 of the locking member 40, as shown in Figure 10, the movement of the locking protrusions 55, 55 in the pressing direction F1 is restricted by the restricting portions 7, 7, and the pair of first frames 45, 45 elastically deform via the connecting portions 43, 44, and following this, the pair of second frames 46, 46 and the pair of third frames 47, 47 elastically deform.

[0054] As a result, the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 slide away from the locking portions 5, 5, and as shown in Figure 12, the locking protrusions 55, 55 disengage from the locking portions 5, 5, thereby releasing the lock of the opening / closing body 20 from the closed state relative to the opening 3.

[0055] Furthermore, when operation of the operating member 60 is completed, the multiple frames 45, 46, 47 that have each been elastically deformed elastically return to their original state, causing the locking protrusions 55, 55 to slide toward the locking portions 5, 5, and the locking protrusions 55, 55 engage with the locking portions 5, 5, thereby locking the opening / closing body 20 in a closed state relative to the opening 3.

[0056] Here, the elastic restoring force of the pair of third frames 47, 47 mainly returns the pressing portion 63 of the operating member 60 to the state before pressing, and the elastic restoring force of the pair of second frames 46, 46 and the pair of first frames 45, 45 causes the locking protrusions 55, 55 to slide in the direction approaching the locking portions 5, 5, i.e., so that the locking protrusions 55, 55 return to the state before pressing by the pressing portion 63 of the operating member 60.

[0057] In addition, the operating portion 41 of the locking member 40 is structured to bias the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 in the direction of insertion / removal from the insertion holes 30, 75 so that the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 engage with the pair of locking portions 5, 5.

[0058] 10 , when the operating member 60 is pressed and then the pressing operation is stopped, the frames 45, 46, 47 of the pair of annular portions 42, 42 constituting the operating portion 41 elastically return as described above, so that the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 are pushed (or urged) in a direction in which they engage with the pair of locking portions 5, 5. As a result, the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 are urged to be inserted into and inserted through the insertion holes 75, 75 of the pair of guide members 70, 70, respectively, and also inserted into and inserted through the insertion holes 30, 30 of the pair of cylindrical protrusions 25, 25, respectively (see FIGS. 8 and 11 ).

[0059] 10, even if the operating member 60 is not deeply pressed against the connecting portion 43, which is the pressed portion, by pressing the operating member 60 to an extent that allows elastic deformation of the frames 45, 46, 47, the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 are urged in the direction of insertion from the insertion holes 30, 75 so that the locking protrusions 55, 55 engage with the locking portions 5, 5 when the pressing operation of the operating member 60 is completed. In other words, the operating portion 41 in this embodiment is a part that plays the same role as a spring member or the like that urges the locking protrusions to engage with the locking portions in a conventional locking device for an opening / closing body.

[0060] Furthermore, the pair of legs 50, 50 of the locking member 40 have their base ends 51 connected to the connecting portion between the tip 46b of the second frame 46 and the base end 47a of the third frame 47, and an extension 52 extends from the tip of this connecting portion by a predetermined length so as to bend perpendicular to the sliding direction F2 of the locking protrusion 55 and be spaced apart from the operating portion 41 including the annular portion 42, thereby forming a generally crank-like shape as a whole. The extension 52 of the leg 50 and the operating portion 41 including the annular portion 42 are at different height positions.

[0061] A locking protrusion 55 protrudes in the sliding direction F2 from the tip of the extending portion 52 of each leg 50 in the extending direction. A pair of guide ribs 56 protrude from both sides in the width direction perpendicular to the sliding direction F2 at the base end of the locking protrusion 55. The pair of guide ribs 56 are inserted into a pair of guide grooves 77 (see FIG. 6) of the guide member 70 to guide the sliding movement of the locking protrusion 55.

[0062] Furthermore, an inclined portion 57 that gradually thins the locking protrusion 55 toward the tip of the locking protrusion 55 is formed on the outer surface facing the insertion direction F3 of the leg portion 50 into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25. This inclined portion 57 is the portion that is pressed by the ribs 28b, 28b provided on the base portion 21 when the leg portion 50 is inserted into the internal space R together with the guide member 70 (see FIG. 5).

[0063] Next, the guide member 70 will be described in detail with reference to FIGS.

[0064] The guide member 70 in this embodiment is arranged on both sides of the leg 50 perpendicular to the sliding direction F2 of the locking protrusion 55 and the extension direction of the leg 50, and has a pair of side wall portions 71, 71 that form locking protrusion guides, and a front wall portion 73 that is arranged in the direction in which the locking protrusion 55 protrudes relative to the locking portion 5, connects the pair of side wall portions 71, 71, and has an insertion hole 75 formed therein, and is frame-shaped with one side (the opposite side to the bottom wall portion 74 described later) in the extension direction of the leg 50 open and the opposite side of the front wall portion 73 open.

[0065] In this embodiment, a pair of guide members 70, 70 are provided corresponding to the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 of the locking member 40. As shown by arrow F4 in Figure 1, each guide member 70 can be attached to the leg portion 50 from the protruding side of the locking protrusions 55 relative to the locking portion 5.

[0066] The pair of side wall portions 71, 71 extend a predetermined length along the sliding direction F2 of the locking protrusion 55 and are approximately long plate-shaped formed at a predetermined height along the extension direction of the extension portion 52 of the leg portion 50, and are arranged parallel to each other on both sides of the width direction perpendicular to the sliding direction F2 of the locking protrusion 55 and the extension direction of the leg portion 50.

[0067] In addition, the front wall portion 73 is plate-shaped and located at the tip end side in the extension direction of the extension portion 52 of the leg portion 50, on the front side (also called the front side) facing the protruding direction side of the locking protrusion 55, and is connected to the tip end side in the extension direction of the pair of side wall portions 71, 71 (the end side from which the locking protrusion 55 protrudes).

[0068] 8 and 11 , the front wall portion 73 is configured to be in contact with the leg portion 50 when the locking protrusion 55 is biased by the operating portion 41 in the direction of insertion / removal from the insertion hole 30, 75. In this embodiment, the front surface of the leg portion 50 is in contact with the inner surface of the front wall portion 73.

[0069] Furthermore, height-wise ends of the pair of side walls 71, 71 and the front wall 73 (ends facing the tips of the legs 50 in the extension direction) are connected to each other by a bottom wall 74 (see FIG. 4). That is, the guide member 70 has a generally rectangular frame shape with a bottom that is open on the side opposite the bottom wall 74 (the ceiling wall side) and on the side opposite the front wall 73 (the rear wall side). Note that the "height direction" of the side walls 71, the front wall 73, etc. means the direction along the extension direction of the legs 50.

[0070] In addition, an insertion hole 75 for inserting and ejecting the locking protrusion 55 is formed between one end side of the pair of side wall portions 71, 71 in the height direction, one end side of the front wall portion 73 in the height direction, and the bottom wall portion 74.

[0071] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 6, on the inner surfaces (opposing surfaces) of the pair of side wall portions 71, 71 near one end in the height direction, groove-shaped guide grooves 77, 77 are formed over the entire area from one end to the other end in the extension direction of the side wall portions 71, 71, extending along the sliding direction F2 of the locking protrusion 55 (which can also be said to extend along the extension direction of the pair of side wall portions 71, 71).

[0072] The pair of guide ribs 56 of the locking protrusion 55 are slidably inserted into the pair of guide grooves 77, 77, thereby guiding the sliding movement of the locking protrusion 55 along the sliding direction F2. The pair of guide grooves 77, 77 are parts formed in the "locking protrusion guide" of the present invention.

[0073] Also, as shown in Figure 8, the guide groove 77 provided in the guide member 70 and the guide rib 56 provided on the locking protrusion 55 are arranged so as to be positioned on the line L along which the locking protrusion 55 protrudes relative to the locking portion 5.

[0074] Furthermore, a pair of slits 79a, 79a extending parallel to each other so as to communicate with the insertion hole 75 are formed in the front wall portion 73, and an elastically deformable (flexibly deformable) first elastic engagement portion 79 is formed via this pair of slits 79a, 79a. The first elastic engagement portion 79 has a base end (fixed end) connected to the other end side in the height direction of the front wall portion 73, and has an extension portion 79b extending a predetermined length toward one end side in the height direction of the front wall portion 73, and an engagement protrusion 79c protruding from the outer surface side of the tip end (free end) of the extension portion 79b.

[0075] As shown in Figure 8, when the leg 50 together with the guide member 70 is inserted into the internal space R, the engaging protrusion 79c of the first elastic engaging portion 79 can engage with the back peripheral portion of the insertion hole 30 on the opposite side from the bottom wall 25d, thereby preventing the guide member 70 from slipping out of the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25.

[0076] 6, a pair of notches 81a, 81a are formed in the widthwise central portion of the bottom wall 74 on the opposite side from the front wall 73, and an elastically deformable second elastic engagement portion 81 is formed via this pair of notches 81a, 81a. The second elastic engagement portion 81 has a base end (fixed end) connected to the bottom wall 74, an extension portion 81b extending a predetermined length obliquely outward toward the other end of the front wall 73 in the height direction, and an engagement protrusion 81c protruding from the outer surface side of the tip (free end) of the extension portion 81b.

[0077] As shown in Figure 8, when the leg 50 together with the guide member 70 is inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25, the engaging protrusion 81c of the second elastic engaging portion 81 engages with the engaging groove 26a of the engaging rib 26 formed on the base portion 21, thereby preventing the guide member 70 from slipping out of the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25.

[0078] That is, in this embodiment, the two members, the first elastic engagement portion 79 and the second elastic engagement portion 81, constitute the "elastic engagement portion" of the present invention. It can also be said that the guide member 70 is held against the cylindrical protrusion 25 by the two elastic engagement portions 79, 81.

[0079] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 11 and 12, the guide member 70 is positioned in the internal space R of the tubular protrusion 25 so that when inserted into the internal space R of the tubular protrusion 25, it does not protrude from the opening 24 located on the base end side in the protruding direction of the tubular protrusion 25.

[0080] 6, a pair of slits 83a extending parallel to each other are formed on the side of the pair of side walls 71, 71 opposite the bottom wall 74, and a pair of elastically deformable fall-off prevention portions 83, 83 are formed via the pair of slits 83a, 83a. Each fall-off prevention portion 83 has a base end (fixed end) connected to the side wall 71 near the front wall 73, an extension portion 83b extending a predetermined length toward the side opposite the front wall 73, and a protrusion 83c protruding from the inner surface side of the tip (free end) of the extension portion 83b.

[0081] 1, the guide member 70 is fitted onto the leg 50 from the tip end side (inclined portion 57 side) in the protruding direction of the locking protrusion 55, and the locking protrusion 55 is inserted through the insertion hole 75. Then, the protrusions 83c, 83c of the pair of fall-off prevention portions 83, 83 are positioned on the tip end side of the extending portion 52 of the leg 50, on the rear side (which can also be said to be the back surface side) opposite the protruding direction of the locking protrusion 55 (see FIG. 7).

[0082] Therefore, even if the guide member 70 is pushed in a direction approaching the rear side of the leg 50, the protrusions 83c, 83c engage with both sides of the width direction of the rear side of the leg 50, thereby preventing the guide member 70 attached to the leg 50 from falling off the leg 50.

[0083] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, a pair of positioning projections 85, 85 are provided at the end of the connecting portion between the side wall portion 71 and the bottom wall portion 74 opposite the front wall portion 73.

[0084] When the leg 50 together with the guide member 70 is inserted and pushed into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25, these pair of positioning protrusions 85, 85 are inserted into and engage with the positioning groove 27a of the positioning rib 27 provided on the bottom wall 25d of the cylindrical protrusion 25, thereby positioning the guide member 70 relative to the cylindrical protrusion 25.

[0085] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 2 and 4, on the outer surface of the front wall portion 73, on both sides of the first elastic engagement portion 79 in the width direction, a pair of guide protrusions 87, 87 extending parallel to each other along the height direction of the front wall portion 73 are provided.

[0086] These pair of guide protrusions 87, 87 are positioned close to the inside of a pair of ribs 28a, 28a provided on the base portion 21 when the leg portion 50 together with the guide member 70 is inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion portion 25, and serve as parts that guide the insertion of the guide member 70 into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion portion 25.

[0087] (Variant example) The shape, structure, layout, etc. of the locking portion that constitutes the locking device of the opening / closing body in the present invention, the opening / closing body, the locking member, the operating member, the guide member, and each part that constitutes each member (for example, the operating portion, leg portion, locking protrusion, etc. of the locking member, and further the side wall portion, front wall portion, elastic engagement portion, etc. of the guide member) are not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment.

[0088] Furthermore, in this embodiment, as described above, the present invention is applied to a structure in which an opening / closing body such as a lid is attached to the opening of a console box in an openable / closable manner, but it may also be applied to a structure in which a box-shaped glove box is attached to the opening of an instrument panel in an openable / closable manner (in this case, the instrument panel constitutes the "fixed body" and the glove box constitutes the "opening / closing body"), or to a structure in which a lid is attached to the opening of an instrument panel in an openable / closable manner (in this case, the instrument panel constitutes the "fixed body" and the lid constitutes the "opening / closing body"), and can be widely used in opening / closing structures for various opening / closing bodies that open and close the opening of a fixed body.

[0089] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the locking portion 5 is provided on the fixed body 1 side, the locking member 40, operating member 60, and guide member 70 are arranged on the opening / closing body 20 side, and the cylindrical protrusion 25 protrudes from the opening / closing body 20, but for example, the locking portion may be provided on the opening / closing body side, and the locking member, operating member, and guide member may be arranged on the fixed body side, and the cylindrical protrusion may protrude from the fixed body.

[0090] In the case of a structure in which the locking portion 5 is provided on the fixed body 1 side and the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 are biased in a direction away from each other by the biasing force of the operating portion 41, as in this embodiment, when the operating member 60 is operated, the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 slide in a direction toward each other against the biasing force of the operating portion 41 (see Figures 10 and 12).

[0091] However, the pair of locking protrusions may be configured to be biased toward each other by the biasing force of the operating part, and when the operating member is operated, the pair of locking protrusions may slide away from each other against the biasing force of the operating part.

[0092] It is also conceivable that the locking portion is provided on the opening / closing body side (for example, a pair of concave locking portions is provided on both sides of the opening / closing body in the width direction), and the pair of locking protrusions are biased in directions toward each other by the biasing force of the pair of annular portions. In such a structure, when the operating member is operated, the pair of locking protrusions slide in directions away from each other against the biasing force of the operating portion.

[0093] Furthermore, although the locking portion 5 in this embodiment is hole-shaped, the locking portion may not be hole-shaped, but may be recessed, protruding, frame-shaped, etc. Furthermore, the locking portion may be provided in the opening / closing body rather than in an opening in the fixed body.

[0094] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the operating member 60 is slid in the pressing direction F1 to operate the operating portion 41 of the locking member 40, but for example, the operating member may be structured to be operable to rotate, thereby operating the operating portion of the locking member (this will be explained in the third embodiment described later), and the operating member and the operating portion of the locking member may be configured to be capable of sliding in the direction to engage and disengage the locking protrusion with the locking portion.

[0095] Also, in this embodiment, the guide groove 77 is a portion formed in the locking protrusion guide of the guide member 70, but the locking protrusion guide of the guide member may also be, for example, a guide rib or a guide protrusion (in this case, a guide groove is formed on the locking protrusion side to guide the guide rib, guide protrusion, etc., for slidable insertion).

[0096] Furthermore, in this embodiment, as described above, when the guide member 70 is attached to the leg 50, the leg 50 is inserted into the internal space R together with the guide member 70, and the elastic engagement portions 79, 81 engage with the tubular protrusion 25. However, for example, when the leg is inserted into the internal space, the guide member may be inserted into the internal space and attached to the leg, and the elastic engagement portions may engage with the tubular protrusion (this will be explained in the second embodiment described later).

[0097] (Operation and Effect) Next, the operation and effect of the locking device 10 configured as described above will be described.

[0098] First, we will explain the assembly process of the locking device 10, particularly the assembly process of the locking member 40, the pair of guide members 70, 70, and the cylindrical protrusions 25, 25. In this embodiment, the guide members 70 are attached to the legs 50 in advance, and then the legs 50 together with the guide members 70 are inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusions 25.

[0099] That is, after aligning the pair of guide ribs 56, 56 of the locking protrusion 55 with the pair of guide grooves 77, 77 of the guide member 70, the guide member 70 is pushed against the leg 50 from the tip side (the inclined portion 57 side) of the protruding direction of the locking protrusion 55, as shown by arrow F4 in Figure 1.

[0100] Then, the protrusions 83c, 83c of the pair of anti-fall-off portions 83, 83 are pressed against both sides of the leg portion 50, causing the pair of anti-fall-off portions 83, 83 to elastically deform (flexibly deform) outward, and the pair of guide ribs 56, 56 are inserted into the pair of guide grooves 77, 77, and further, the locking protrusion 55 is inserted through the inner opening of the insertion hole 75.

[0101] When the guide member 70 is further pushed against the leg 50 and the protrusion 83c of the anti-fall-off portion 83 passes the end of the rear (back) side of the leg 50, the pair of anti-fall-off portions 83, 83 elastically return to their original position, and the front surface of the leg 50 abuts against the inner surface of the front wall portion 73 of the guide member 70, restricting further pushing of the guide member 70 against the leg 50. As shown in Figures 4 and 7, the guide member 70 is attached to the leg 50 with the locking protrusion 55 inserted from the insertion hole 75.

[0102] As described above, with the pair of guide members 70, 70 attached to the pair of legs 50, 50 of the locking member 40, the legs 50 to which the guide members 70 are attached are roughly aligned with the corresponding pair of openings 24, 24 of the base portion 21, and then the pair of legs 50, 50 together with the guide members 70 are inserted into the pair of cylindrical protrusions 25, 25 as shown in the insertion direction F3 in Figures 5 and 7.

[0103] Then, the pair of guide protrusions 87, 87 of the guide member 70 are guided by the pair of ribs 28a of the base portion 21, and the inclined portion 57 of the lock protrusion 55 is pressed against the pair of ribs 28b, 28b of the base portion 21, causing the pair of lock protrusions 55, 55 to slide toward each other against the biasing force of the operating portion 41, and the leg portion 50 and lock protrusion 55 together with the guide member 70 are inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25.

[0104] At this time, the engaging protrusion 79c of the first elastic engaging portion 79 is pressed against the inner surface of the connecting wall 25c of the tubular protruding portion 25, causing the first elastic engaging portion 79 to elastically deform, and the engaging protrusion 81c of the second elastic engaging portion 81 is pressed against the engaging rib 26 provided on the tubular protruding portion 25, causing the second elastic engaging portion 81 to elastically deform.

[0105] Then, when the leg portion 50 is further pushed into the cylindrical protrusion 25, the pair of positioning protrusions 85, 85 are inserted into and engage with the positioning grooves 27a, 27a provided in the cylindrical protrusion 25, and the guide member 70 is positioned relative to the cylindrical protrusion 25.

[0106] Furthermore, when the engaging protrusion 79c of the first elastic engaging portion 79 reaches the insertion hole 30, the first elastic engaging portion 79 elastically returns to its original position, and the engaging protrusion 79c becomes engageable with the rear peripheral edge portion of the insertion hole 30 on the side opposite to the bottom wall 25d. Furthermore, when the engaging protrusion 81c of the second elastic engaging portion 81 reaches the engaging groove 26a of the engaging rib 26, the second elastic engaging portion 81 elastically returns to its original position, and the engaging protrusion 81c engages with the engaging groove 26a.

[0107] As a result, the pair of guide members 70, 70 are held against the pair of cylindrical protrusions 25, 25 by the two members, the first elastic engaging portion 79 and the second elastic engaging portion 81, and the pair of guide members 70, 70 are attached to the pair of cylindrical protrusions 25, 25, and ultimately the pair of guide members 70, 70 are attached to the opening / closing body 20. In addition, by attaching the pair of guide members 70, 70 to the pair of cylindrical protrusions 25, 25, the entire locking member 40 is attached to the opening / closing body 20 via the pair of guide members 70, 70.

[0108] That is, in this locking device 10, by simply inserting the guide member 70 into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25, the elastic engagement portions 79, 81 engage with the cylindrical protrusion 25 (the first elastic engagement portion 79 engages with the insertion hole 30 and the second elastic engagement portion 81 engages with the engagement groove 26a), and the guide member 70 is held in place in the internal space R so that it does not come off from the internal space R (see Figure 8), thereby improving the ease of attaching the guide member 70 to the opening / closing body 20.

[0109] Furthermore, as described above, by attaching the guide member 70 to the cylindrical protrusion 25, the entire locking member 40 is attached to the opening / closing body 20 via the guide member 70, which also makes it possible to improve the ease of attaching the locking member 40 to the opening / closing body 20.

[0110] In addition, in this embodiment, the guide member 70 is arranged on both sides of the leg 50 perpendicular to the sliding direction F2 of the locking protrusion 55 and the extension direction of the leg 50, and has a pair of side wall portions 71, 71 that form locking protrusion guides, and a front wall portion 73 that is arranged in the direction in which the locking protrusion 55 protrudes relative to the locking portion 5, connects the pair of side wall portions 71, 71, and has an insertion hole 75 formed therein, and is frame-shaped with an opening on the extension direction side of the leg 50 and an opening on the opposite side of the front wall portion 73.

[0111] According to the above aspect, by employing a guide member having the above-described configuration, the guide member 70 can be attached to the leg portion 50 from the protruding direction side of the locking protrusion 55 relative to the locking portion 5.

[0112] As a result, in either case, the guide members 70, 70A can be easily attached to the legs 50 and the cylindrical protrusions 25, either when the guide members 70 are attached to the legs 50 in advance, and then the legs 50 together with the guide members 70 are inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusions 25, and the elastic engagement portions 79, 81 are engaged with the cylindrical protrusions 25 to attach the guide members 70 to the cylindrical protrusions 25, or when, as will be described in other embodiments below, the legs 50 are inserted in advance into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusions 25, and then the guide members 70A (see Figure 13) are inserted into the internal space R to be attached to the legs 50, and the elastic engagement portions 89, 91 are engaged with the cylindrical protrusions 25 to attach the guide members 70A to the cylindrical protrusions 25.

[0113] Furthermore, since the guide member 70 can be attached to the leg 50 from the protruding side of the locking protrusion 55 relative to the locking portion 5, even if guide grooves 77 and guide ribs 56 are provided on both sides of the pair of side wall portions 71, 71 of the guide member 70 or the locking protrusion 55, the guide member 70 can be attached to the leg 50 and the cylindrical protrusion 25 while guiding them relative to each other, thereby improving the ease of installation.

[0114] 11 shows a state in which the opening 3 of the fixed body 1 is closed by the opening / closing body 20. From this state, when the operating member 60 is operated to slide the pressing portion 63 in the pressing direction F1 in FIG. 9, the pressing portion 63 presses the connecting portion 43 of the locking member 40.

[0115] As a result, the movement of the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 in the pressing direction F1 is restricted by the pair of restricting portions 7, 7, and as shown in Figure 10, the pair of first frames 45, 45 elastically deform via the connecting portions 43, 44, and following this, the pair of second frames 46, 46 and the pair of third frames 47, 47 elastically deform.

[0116] As a result, the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 slide away from the pair of locking sections 5, 5, and as shown in Figure 12, the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 disengage (come out) from the pair of locking sections 5, 5, thereby releasing the lock on the opening 3 from the closed state of the opening / closing body 20, and the opening / closing body 20 can be opened from the opening 3 of the fixed body 1.

[0117] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the operating portion 41 of the locking member 40 is configured to bias the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 in the direction of insertion from the insertion holes 30, 75 so as to engage the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 with respect to the pair of locking portions 5, 5, and the front wall portion 73 of the guide member 70 is configured so that the leg portion 50 abuts against it when the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 are biased by the operating portion 41 in the direction of insertion from the insertion holes 30, 75 (see Figures 8 and 11).

[0118] According to the above aspect, the operating portion 41 of the locking member 40 is structured to bias the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 in the direction of insertion from the insertion holes 30, 75 so as to engage the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 with the pair of locking portions 5, 5, thereby enabling the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 to be reliably inserted from the insertion holes 30, 75.

[0119] Furthermore, the front wall portion 73 is configured to be in contact with the legs 50 when the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 are urged by the operating portion 41 in the direction of insertion and removal from the insertion holes 30, 75. Therefore, the front wall portion 73 functions as a stopper for the pair of legs 50, 50 that are urged together with the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 by the operating portion 41, and the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 can be stably inserted and removed from the insertion holes 30, 75 (in particular, the amount of insertion of the locking protrusions 55 from the insertion hole 30 can be kept constant at all times).

[0120] In addition, in this embodiment, a pair of openings 24, 24 are formed in the opening / closing body 20, and a pair of cylindrical protrusions 25, 25 protrude from the peripheral edges of the pair of openings 24, 24, respectively, and the guide member 70 is arranged in the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25 so as not to protrude from the opening 24 located on the base end side in the protruding direction of the cylindrical protrusion 25 (see Figures 11 and 12).

[0121] According to the above aspect, the guide member 70 is disposed in the internal space R of the tubular protrusion 25 so as not to protrude from the opening 24 located on the base end side in the protruding direction of the tubular protrusion 25. This reliably prevents the guide member 70 from interfering with the operating part 41 of the locking member 40, and also makes it possible to make thinner the portion of the opening / closing body 20 where the operating part 41 is disposed.

[0122] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the locking protrusion guide is formed with a guide groove 77 extending along the sliding direction F2, and the locking protrusion 55 is formed with a guide rib 56 that is slidably inserted into the guide groove 77. Also, as shown in FIG. 8, the guide groove 77 and the guide rib 56 are arranged so as to be positioned on the line L along which the locking protrusion 55 protrudes relative to the locking portion 5.

[0123] According to the above aspect, the guide structure consisting of the guide groove 77 and the guide rib 56 is arranged so as to be positioned on the line L along which the locking protrusion 55 protrudes relative to the locking portion 5, so that the locking protrusion 55 can be slid and guided in a stable posture while preventing it from tilting relative to the locking portion 5, and the locking protrusion 55 can be reliably engaged and disengaged with respect to the locking portion 5.

[0124] 13 to 19 show a second embodiment of the locking device for an opening / closing body according to the present invention. Note that parts that are essentially the same as those in the previous embodiment are given the same reference numerals and descriptions thereof will be omitted.

[0125] 13, the locking device for an opening / closing body of the second embodiment differs from the previous embodiment in the mounting structure of the guide member 70A to the cylindrical protrusion 25A. That is, in this embodiment, with the leg 50 inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25A, the guide member 70 is inserted into the internal space A and attached to the leg 50 (see FIGS. 15 and 16), and the elastic engaging portions (first elastic engaging portion 89 and second elastic engaging portion 91) are configured to engage with the cylindrical protrusion 25A (see FIGS. 17 and 18).

[0126] 13, a generally rectangular insertion hole 30 is formed in the connecting wall 25c that constitutes the cylindrical protruding portion 25A in this embodiment, and a recess 39 of a predetermined depth is formed in the peripheral edge of the front side of this insertion hole 30. The recess 39 is open on its lower side (toward the bottom wall 25d of the cylindrical protruding portion 25A).

[0127] Referring also to Figure 14, the guide member 70A, like the guide member 70 of the above embodiment, has a pair of side wall portions 71, 71 with a guide groove 77 formed on the inner surface side, and a front wall portion 73 connecting the pair of side wall portions 71, 71, and is frame-shaped with one side (opposite the bottom wall portion 74) in the extension direction of the leg portion 50 open and the opposite side of the front wall portion 73 open.

[0128] 14, the side of each side wall 71 opposite the bottom wall 74 has a double-wall structure with an outer wall 71a and an inner wall 71b separated by a gap. A generally U-shaped slit 89a is formed in the outer wall 71a of each side wall 71, and an elastically deformable first elastic engagement portion 89 is provided through the slit 89a.

[0129] Each first elastic engagement portion 89 extends a predetermined length, and has an extension portion 89b at its base end (fixed end) located on the opposite side of the side wall portion 71 from the front wall portion 73, and an engagement protrusion 89c protruding from the outer surface side of the tip (free end) of the extension portion 89b.

[0130] As shown in Figure 18, when the guide member 70A is inserted from the front side of the insertion hole 30 of the cylindrical protrusion 25A, the engaging protrusions 89c, 89c of the pair of first elastic engaging portions 89, 89 engage with the rear peripheral portions located on both sides of the width direction (direction perpendicular to the height direction of the front wall portion 73) of the insertion hole 30, thereby preventing the guide member 70A from slipping out of the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25A.

[0131] Furthermore, the front wall 73 has flanges 76 that protrude from the outer surfaces of the pair of side walls 71, 71 (the surfaces opposite the opposing inner surfaces) and the outer surface of the bottom wall 74. Also, shallow groove-shaped recessed portions 76a are formed on the backsides of both side portions of the flanges 76 that protrude from the outer surfaces of the pair of side walls 71, 71, at locations that align with the first elastic engagement portions 89.

[0132] When the guide member 70A is inserted from the front side of the insertion hole 30 of the cylindrical protrusion 25A, the flange portion 76 enters the recess 39 of the cylindrical protrusion 25A, and the part of the back side of the flange portion 76 other than the hollowed-out portion 76a abuts against the bottom surface of the recess 39 (see Figure 18).

[0133] Furthermore, a pair of ribs 78, 78 extend from both sides of the flange portion 76 in the width direction (the direction in which the pair of side wall portions 71, 71 are arranged) on the surface side of the flange portion 76 along the height direction of the front wall portion 73. These pair of ribs 78, 78 serve to reinforce the front wall portion 73, etc.

[0134] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 14 and 17, approximately C-shaped slits 91a are formed on both sides of the width of the bottom wall portion 74, and elastically deformable second elastic engagement portions 91, 91 are provided through the slits 91a.

[0135] Each second elastic engagement portion 91 extends a predetermined length, and has an extension portion 91b at its base end (fixed end) located on the opposite side of the bottom wall portion 74 from the front wall portion 73, and an engagement protrusion 91c protruding from the outer surface side of the tip (free end) of the extension portion 91b.

[0136] Then, as shown in Figure 17, when the guide member 70A is inserted from the front side of the insertion hole 30 of the cylindrical protrusion 25A, the engaging protrusions 91c, 91c of the pair of second elastic engaging portions 91, 91 can engage with the back side peripheral portion of the insertion hole 30 on the bottom wall 25d side of the cylindrical protrusion 25A, thereby preventing the guide member 70A from slipping out of the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25.

[0137] The locking device 10 of this embodiment is assembled in the following steps: With the tip end side of the locking protrusion 55, which has the inclined portion 57, facing the insertion hole 30 of the cylindrical protrusion 25A, the leg portion 50 and the locking protrusion 55 are inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25A through the opening 24 (not shown) located on the base end side of the cylindrical protrusion 25A in the protruding direction, as shown in the insertion direction F3 in FIG.

[0138] Then, the tip of the locking protrusion 55 is pressed against the inner surface of the connecting wall 25c of the cylindrical protrusion 25A, and the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 slide toward each other against the biasing force of the operating part 41, while the legs 50 and the locking protrusion 55 are inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25A. Note that Figure 15 shows a state in which the legs 50 and the locking protrusion 55 are being inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25A.

[0139] When the tip of the locking protrusion 55 reaches the insertion hole 30 of the cylindrical protrusion 25A, the biasing force of the operating portion 41 causes the pair of locking protrusions 55, 55 to be inserted to the maximum extent from the insertion hole 30, 30.

[0140] After that, the pair of guide ribs 56, 56 of the locking protrusion 55 are aligned with the pair of guide grooves 77, 77 of the guide member 70A, and then, as shown by arrow F4 in Figure 15, the guide member 70A is pushed in from the tip side of the protruding direction of the locking protrusion 55 (the side of the inclined portion 57), and the guide member 70A is inserted from the front side of the insertion hole 30 of the cylindrical protrusion 25A.

[0141] Then, the engaging protrusions 89c of each first elastic engaging portion 89 and the engaging protrusions 91c of each second elastic engaging portion 91 are pressed against the inner peripheral edge of the insertion hole 30 of the cylindrical protrusion 25A, causing the elastic engaging portions 89, 91 to elastically deform.

[0142] When the guide member 70A is further pushed in, the flange portion 76 enters the recess 39 of the cylindrical protruding portion 25A and abuts against the bottom surface thereof. Also, as the engaging protrusions 89c, 91c pass through the insertion hole 30, the pair of first elastic engaging portions 89, 89 elastically return to their original state, and the engaging protrusions 89c, 89c engage with the rear peripheral edge portions on both sides in the width direction of the insertion hole 30 (see FIG. 18), and the pair of second elastic engaging portions 91, 91 elastically return to their original state, and the engaging protrusions 91c, 91c become able to engage with the rear peripheral edge portion on the bottom wall 25d side of the insertion hole 30 (see FIG. 17), thereby preventing the guide member 70A from slipping out of the internal space R of the cylindrical protruding portion 25A.

[0143] As a result, a pair of guide members 70A, 70A can be attached to a pair of cylindrical protrusions 25A, 25A using two types of elastic engagement portions: a pair of first elastic engagement portions 89, 89 and a pair of second elastic engagement portions 91, 91, for a total of four elastic engagement portions.

[0144] 1 to 12. Furthermore, the guide member 70A does not require a structure to prevent the leg 50 from falling off, so its shape and structure can be relatively simplified. Furthermore, since ribs or the like for inserting and positioning the guide member inside the cylindrical protrusion 25A are not required, the shape and structure of the cylindrical protrusion 25A can be simplified and easily molded.

[0145] 20 to 29 show a third embodiment of the locking device for an opening / closing body according to the present invention. Note that parts that are essentially the same as those in the previous embodiment are given the same reference numerals and descriptions thereof will be omitted.

[0146] As shown in FIG. 20, the locking device 10B of the opening / closing body of the third embodiment (hereinafter referred to as "locking device 10B") differs from the previous embodiment mainly in that the operating member 60B is a member that rotates, and in the mounting structure of the guide member 70B that is mounted on the leg 50 of the locking member 40B.

[0147] As shown in Figure 20, a rectangular cutout-shaped operating opening 29 is formed in the bottom wall 22 of the base portion 21, adjacent to a predetermined side of the four-sided peripheral wall 23, allowing the operating member 60B to be rotated.

[0148] A pair of ribs 29a, 29a extend from both widthwise peripheral edges of the operation opening 29 in the bottom wall 22 of the base portion 21. A rotation support protrusion 29b that rotatably supports the operation member 60B protrudes from the inner surface of each rib 29a on the tip end side in the extension direction (the surface facing the other rib 29a).

[0149] 20 , the operating member 60B has an operating portion 61 that is arranged so as to be able to appear and disappear within the operation opening 29, and a pair of rotation support pieces 62, 62 provided on both sides in the width direction of the operating portion 61. A rotation support hole 62a into which the rotation support protrusion 29b is inserted is formed in each of the rotation support pieces 62. The operating member 60B is rotatably attached to the base portion 21 by inserting the pair of rotation support protrusions 29b, 29b into the pair of rotation support holes 62a, 62a.

[0150] A pressing portion 63 that presses against the locking member 40B as the operating member 60B rotates is provided in the center of the width direction on the base end side (the side that is supported for rotation) of the operating portion 61. A pair of intermediate wall portions 64, 64 are formed on both sides of the pressing portion 63. Furthermore, a shaft portion 66 is protruded from the inner surface of each intermediate wall portion 64, for rotatably mounting the operating member 60B to the locking member 40B.

[0151] 20 and 22, similar to the above embodiment, the locking member 40B has a pair of annular portions 42, 42 and connecting portions 43, 44. A pressed portion 49 that is pressed by a pressing portion 63 of the operating member 60B is connected to the connecting portion 43 via an extension portion 48.

[0152] Furthermore, grooves 49a, 49a are formed on both outer surfaces in the width direction of the pressed portion 49. A pair of shafts 66, 66 of the operating member 60B are slidably inserted into these pair of grooves 49a, 49a, and the pair of shafts 66, 66 are held in place by the pair of grooves 49a, 49a, so that the operating member 60B is attached to the locking member 40B.

[0153] The guide member 70B also has a guided portion that is guided by a leg guide and a locking protrusion guide, which will be described later, that are provided on the locking member 40B.

[0154] 22 and 23 , guide walls 58a, 58a each having a generally rectangular block shape extending elongatedly along the sliding direction F2, are provided on both sides of the base end of the locking protrusion 55B in the width direction perpendicular to the sliding direction F2 of the locking protrusion 55B. Guide protrusions 58b, 58b each having a generally square shape protrude from the outer surface of the distal end of each pair of guide walls 58a. These guide walls 58a and guide protrusions 58b form part of the guide structure when the guide members 70B, 70B are attached to the pair of legs 50, 50 of the locking member 40B (the guide structure will be described in detail in the description of the guide member 70B). In other words, these guide walls 58a and guide protrusions 58b form the “guided portion” of the present invention.

[0155] 26, an insertion recess 59a into which the second elastic engagement portion 81 is inserted is formed on the base end side of the locking protrusion 55B. An extension surface 59b extending along the extension direction A of the leg 50 (here, this means the direction along the extension direction of the extension portion 52 constituting the leg 50) and an inclined surface 59c extending obliquely from one end of the extension surface 59b toward the bottom surface side of the locking protrusion 55B and toward the tip side of the locking protrusion 55B are provided on the inner surface of this insertion recess 59a near the tip side of the locking protrusion 55B.

[0156] 26, when the guide member 70B is brought close to the leg 50 in order to attach the guide member 70B to the leg 50, the inclined surface 59c presses the tip end 81d of the second elastic engagement portion 81, thereby causing the entire second elastic engagement portion 81 to bend and deform (see the two-dot chain line in FIG. 26). Furthermore, the extending surface 59b is the portion that is pressed by the tip end 81d of the elastic engagement portion 81 when the bent and deformed elastic engagement portion 81 attempts to elastically return to its original state (see FIG. 27).

[0157] Next, the guide member 70B will be described in detail. As shown in Figures 24 and 25, the guide member 70B of this embodiment, like the previous embodiment, has a pair of side walls 71, 71 with guide structures (leg guides and locking protrusion guides) on their inner surfaces, and a front wall 73 connecting the pair of side walls 71, 71, and is frame-shaped with an opening on one side in the extension direction of the legs 50 (the side opposite the bottom wall 74) and an opening on the opposite side of the front wall 73. It can also be said that the guide member 70B is frame-shaped with an opening 72 on the side opposite the insertion hole 75 formed in the front wall 73.

[0158] Furthermore, the maximum inner dimension of the opening 72 of the guide member 70B is smaller than the maximum outer dimension of the locking protrusion 55B. Here, as shown in Fig. 25, the maximum length W1 in the width direction between the inner edges of the pair of side wall portions 71, 71 on the opening 72 side is smaller than the maximum length W2 between the outer edges of the pair of guide protrusions 58b, 58b of the locking protrusion 55B shown in Fig. 23. Note that the maximum length W1 corresponds to the "maximum inner dimension of the opening" in this invention, and the maximum length W2 corresponds to the "maximum outer dimension of the locking protrusion" in this invention.

[0159] Referring also to Figure 26, the guide member 70B has a leg guide that guides the guide member 70 to slide relative to the leg 50 along the extension direction A of the leg 50, a locking protrusion guide that guides the locking protrusion 55B to slide along the sliding direction F1 as in the first and second embodiments, and a transition portion 97 between the leg guide and the locking protrusion guide that transitions the sliding movement of the guide member 70B by the leg guide to the sliding movement of the guide member 70B by the locking protrusion guide.

[0160] In addition, it can also be said that the locking protrusion guide in this third embodiment has the function of guiding the guide member 70 to slide relative to the leg 50 along a direction B that intersects the extension direction A of the leg 50 (hereinafter also referred to as the "intersecting direction B"; a direction parallel to the sliding direction F1 of the locking protrusion 55B).

[0161] More specifically, the leg guide of this embodiment has a first guide groove 93 formed with a predetermined depth on the inner surface of each side wall 71 (the surface facing the other side wall 71) near the opening 72. The first guide groove 93 extends in the extension direction A of the leg 50 (here, the direction along the extension direction of the extension portion 52 of the leg 50). The first guide groove 93 is formed with a width that matches the width dimension (the dimension in the direction perpendicular to the extension direction A) of the guide protrusion 58b of the locking protrusion 55B.

[0162] Then, with the guide protrusion 58b aligned with the first guide groove 93, when the guide member 70 is moved closer to the leg 50 as shown by the arrow in Figure 26, the guide protrusion 58b, which forms the guided portion, is inserted into the first guide groove 93 from one end (starting end) of the first guide groove 93, and the first guide groove 93 and the guide protrusion 58b guide the guide member 70B to slide relative to the leg 50 along the extension direction A of the leg 50.

[0163] In other words, the two widthwise outer surfaces of the guide protrusion 58b are positioned close to and facing the two widthwise inner surfaces of the first guide groove 93, so that the guide member 70B is slidably guided relative to the leg 50 along the extension direction A of the leg 50.

[0164] Furthermore, the locking protrusion guide of this embodiment has second guide grooves 95 formed at a predetermined depth on the inner surface of each side wall 71, in a central portion in the height direction of the side wall 71 (the direction along the extension direction of the leg 50). The second guide grooves 95 extend in a transverse direction B that intersects with the extension direction A of the leg 50 (here, perpendicular to the extension direction A). One end (starting end) of the second guide groove 95 in the extension direction communicates with the first guide groove 93, and the other end (terminal end) of the second guide groove 95 in the extension direction communicates with the insertion hole 75. The second guide groove 95 is formed with a height that matches the height dimension (dimension in the direction along the extension direction A) of the guide wall 58a of the locking protrusion 55B.

[0165] Then, when the guide protrusion 58b inserted into the first guide groove 93 reaches the other end (terminal end) of the first guide groove 93, the guide wall portion 58a forming the guided portion is inserted into the second guide groove 95 from one end (starting end) of the second guide groove 95 via the transition portion 97, and these second guide groove 95 and guide wall portion 58a guide the guide member 70B to slide relative to the leg portion 50 in the direction shown by the arrow in Figure 27, i.e., along the intersecting direction B of the leg portion 50 (it can also be said that the guide member 70B is guided to slide in the same direction as the sliding direction F1 of the lock protrusion 55).

[0166] In other words, the two outer surfaces of the guide wall portion 58a in the height direction are positioned close to and facing the two inner surfaces of the second guide groove 95 in the height direction, so that the guide member 70B is slidably guided relative to the leg portion 50 along the transverse direction B of the leg portion 50.

[0167] The second guide groove 95 also has a projection receiving groove 96 that can receive the guide projection 58b of the lock projection 55B. The projection receiving groove 96 is formed in the center of the height direction of the second guide groove 95, extending parallel to the second guide groove 95 and extending deeper from the inner surface of the side wall portion 71 than the bottom surface of the second guide groove 95.

[0168] The protrusion receiving groove 96 is the part that receives the guide protrusion 58b of the lock protrusion 55B when the guide wall portion 58a is inserted into the second guide groove 95 from one end (starting end) of the second guide groove 95 via the transition portion 97 as described above.

[0169] 26, the transition portion 97 in this embodiment is a recessed groove provided between the end of the first guide groove 93, which serves as a leg guide, and the beginning of the second guide groove 95, which serves as a locking protrusion guide. The transition portion 97 here is formed so as to protrude (be slightly offset) slightly toward the bottom wall portion 74 of the guide member 70B relative to the protrusion receiving groove 96 of the second guide groove 95. The bottom surface of this transition portion 97 coincides with one inner surface of the second guide groove 95 in the height direction (the inner surface closer to the bottom wall portion 74).

[0170] The transition portion is not particularly limited as long as it can transition the sliding movement of the guide member 70B by the leg guide to the sliding movement of the guide member 70B by the locking protrusion guide. For example, the connecting portion between the end of the leg guide and the start of the locking protrusion guide may be configured at a right angle with no protrusion as shown in Figure 26, and this right-angle connecting portion may be used as the transition portion.

[0171] 26, when the transition portion 97 protrudes further toward the bottom wall portion 74 of the guide member 70B than the projection receiving groove 96 of the second guide groove 95, the transition portion 97 can be ensured to be longer in the extension direction A of the leg portion 50 by the protruding portion alone, compared to when such a configuration is not used, and therefore the guide member 70B can be moved closer to the leg portion 50. As a result, the flexural deformation performance of the second elastic engaging portion 81 due to the inclined surface 59c of the locking projection 55B is improved, making it easier to flex the second elastic engaging portion 81.

[0172] This transition portion 97 transitions the sliding movement of the guide member 70B by the leg guide to the sliding movement of the guide member 70B by the locking protrusion guide. In this embodiment, the attachment direction of the guide member 70B relative to the leg 50 is changed by 90 degrees from a direction along the extension direction A to a direction along the intersecting direction B (which can also be said to be a direction along the sliding direction F1).

[0173] The leg guides and locking protrusion guides described above are guide grooves 93, 95, and the transition portion 97 is also a groove, but the leg guides, locking protrusion guides, and transition portion may be convex portions, protrusions, ribs, etc., and the locking protrusion side may be structured accordingly as a groove, convex portion, protrusion, rib, etc., which can guide the guide member relative to the leg.

[0174] Furthermore, in this embodiment, when the guided portion of the locking member 40B is positioned at the transition portion 97, the elastic engagement portion is flexibly deformed in a direction away from the insertion hole 75 of the guide member 70B, and is configured to prevent the guide member 70B from coming off relative to the leg portion 50 when the guided portion transitions to the locking protrusion guide.

[0175] Specifically, in this embodiment, when the guide protrusion 58b, which forms the guided portion of the guide member 70B, passes through the first guide groove 93 and reaches the transition portion 97, the inclined surface 59c of the lock protrusion 55B presses against the tip portion 81d, causing the second elastic engagement portion 81 to bend and deform, as shown by the dotted line in Figure 26.

[0176] 27 , the second elastic engagement portion 81 elastically returns from its flexed state in a direction approaching the insertion hole 75, thereby shifting the guide wall portion 58a, including the guide protrusion 58b, located at the transition portion 97, into the second guide groove 95. That is, when the second elastic engagement portion 81 elastically returns, its tip portion 81d presses the inclined surface 59c and the extending surface 59b of the locking protrusion 55B (see arrow P in FIG. 27 ), so that the guide wall portion 58a, including the guide protrusion 58b, automatically shifts into the second guide groove 95, and also slides the guide member 70B relative to the leg portion 50 via the locking protrusion guide in a direction in which most of the locking protrusion 55B, including its tip portion, is inserted through the insertion hole 75, as shown in FIG.

[0177] 27 and 28, the second elastic engagement portion 81 that has elastically returned to its original position has its tip end 81d positioned outside the base end of the locking protrusion 55B, i.e., outside the extending surface 59b provided on the base end side of the locking protrusion 55B. That is, immediately after the second elastic engagement portion 81 has elastically returned to its original position as shown in Fig. 27, the tip end 81d of the second elastic engagement portion 81 abuts against the extending surface 59b, and in the state as shown in Fig. 28 where most of the locking protrusion 55, including its tip end, has been inserted through the insertion hole 75, the tip end 81d of the second elastic engagement portion 81 is positioned behind the extending surface 59b of the locking protrusion 55B, at a predetermined distance from the extending surface 59b.

[0178] Therefore, even if the guide member 70B slides relative to the leg 50 in the direction opposite to the arrow in Figure 27, the extension surface 59b on the base end side of the locking protrusion 55B abuts against the tip 81d of the second elastic engagement portion 81, so that the guide member 70B can be held relative to the leg 50 so as not to come off in the cross direction B of the leg 50.

[0179] As shown in FIGS. 25 and 26, the upper end surfaces of portions 71c, 71c of the pair of side walls 71, 71 opposite the bottom wall 74 form inclined surfaces 71d, 71d that gradually slope toward the opening 72.

[0180] When attaching the guide member 70B to the leg 50, if the guide protrusion 58b of the locking member 40B and the first guide groove 93 of the guide member 70B are misaligned in the transverse direction B and the guide member 70 is brought close to the leg 50, these inclined surfaces 71d, 71d guide the guide protrusions 58b, 58b into the first guide groove 93, thereby improving the ease of attaching the guide member 70B to the leg 50.

[0181] 25 and 26, guide projections 71e, 71e are provided to project in the height direction of the guide member 70B from the side edges of the first guide groove 93 of the pair of side walls 71, 71, on the side opposite the bottom wall 74. These guide projections 71e ensure a long guide length for the inner surface of one side of the first guide groove 93.

[0182] In the present embodiment described above, the guide member 70B is arranged on both sides of the leg 50 perpendicular to the sliding direction F2 of the locking protrusion 55B and the extension direction A of the leg 50, and has a pair of side wall portions 71, 71 that form a guide structure (leg guide and locking protrusion guide), and a front wall portion 73 that is arranged in the direction in which the locking protrusion 55B protrudes relative to the locking portion 5, connects the pair of side wall portions 71, 71, and has an insertion hole 75 formed therein, and is frame-shaped with an opening on the extension direction side of the leg 50 that allows the leg 50 including the locking protrusion 55B to be inserted through this opening on the extension direction side.

[0183] In addition, a first guide groove 93 that serves as a leg guide, a second guide groove 95 that serves as a locking protrusion guide, and a groove-shaped transition portion 97 are formed on the opposing inner surfaces of a pair of side wall portions 71, 71 of the guide member 70B, and the locking protrusion 55B is formed with a guide protrusion 58b that moves within the first guide groove 93 and is located in the transition portion 97, as well as a guide wall portion 58a that moves within the second guide groove 95.

[0184] In this embodiment, when attaching the pair of guide members 70B, 70B to the leg portion 50 of the locking member 40B, the guide protrusion 58b is aligned with the first guide groove 93, and then the guide member 70 is moved toward the leg portion 50 as shown by the arrow in Fig. 26 , and the leg guide causes the guide member 70B to slide in the extending direction A of the leg portion 50. Thereafter, the locking protrusion guide causes the guide member 70B to slide in the intersecting direction B of the leg portion 50 via the transition portion 97 as shown in Fig. 27 , thereby enabling the guide member 70B to be attached to the leg portion 50 while preventing it from slipping out at least in the extending direction A of the leg portion 50 as shown in Fig. 28 .

[0185] As described above, in this embodiment, the guide member 70B is attached to the leg 50 by sliding the guide member 70B relative to the leg 50 in the extension direction A and then sliding it in the intersecting direction B (sliding direction F1). Therefore, during the process of attaching the guide member 70B to the leg 50, interference between the elastic engagement portion of the guide member 70B (here, the second elastic engagement portion 81) and the locking protrusion 55B is prevented, and there is no need to form a recess or the like for inserting the elastic engagement portion into the locking protrusion 55B.

[0186] As a result, the degree of freedom in the shape of the locking protrusions 55B can be increased, and the rigidity and appearance of the locking protrusions 55B can be improved. Furthermore, since the elastic engagement portions are not easily affected by the layout and shape of the locking protrusions 55B, the elastic engagement portions can be formed wide.

[0187] Furthermore, in this embodiment, when the guide member 70B is positioned at the transition portion 97, the second elastic engagement portion 81 is bent and deformed in a direction away from the insertion hole 75 of the guide member 70B, as shown by the dotted line in Figure 26, and then elastically returns in a direction approaching the insertion hole 75 of the guide member 70B, as shown in Figure 27.This makes it easier to transition the guide member 70B positioned at the transition portion 97 to the locking protrusion guide by utilizing the restoring force of the second elastic engagement portion 81 when it elastically returns, thereby improving the ease of attaching the guide member 70B to the leg portion 50.

[0188] Furthermore, the second elastic engagement portion 81 holds the guide member 70B against the leg portion 50 when the guide member 70B has transitioned to the locking protrusion guide, so that the guide member 70 when transitioned to the locking protrusion guide can be securely held against the leg portion 50 and maintained in its attached state.

[0189] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the maximum inner dimension of the opening 72 of the guide member 70B is smaller than the maximum outer dimension of the locking protrusion 55B.

[0190] According to the above aspect, it is possible to prevent the guide member 70B from being attached to the leg 50 from the insertion hole 75 side, i.e., to prevent incorrect assembly, and it is also possible to ensure that the guide member 70B slides in the extension direction A of the leg 50 using the leg guide.

[0191] In addition, when the locking member 40B having a pair of guide members 70B, 70B attached to the legs 50, 50 is inserted into the internal space R of the cylindrical protrusion 25, the elastic engaging portions 79, 81 engage with the cylindrical protrusion 25 (the first elastic engaging portion 79 engages with the insertion hole 30 and the second elastic engaging portion 81 engages with the engaging groove 26a), as shown in Figure 29, and the guide member 70B is held in place in the internal space R so that it does not come off from the internal space R.

[0192] It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modified embodiments are possible within the scope of the gist of the present invention, and such embodiments are also included in the scope of the present invention.
