[0009] <Two-dimensional model generation device> First, an example of the configuration of a two-dimensional model generation device 10 will be described with reference to FIG. 1. FIG. 1 is a hardware configuration diagram of the two-dimensional model generation device 10. The two-dimensional model generation device 10 has a central processing unit (CPU) 1, a read-only memory (ROM) 2, and a random access memory (RAM) 3. The CPU 1, ROM 2, and RAM 3 form a so-called computer. The two-dimensional model generation device 10 may also have an auxiliary storage device 4, a display device 5, an operation device 6, an interface (I / F) device 7, and a drive device 8. Note that the various hardware components of the two-dimensional model generation device 10 are connected to one another via a bus B.
[0010] The CPU 1 (control unit) is a computing device that executes various programs installed in the auxiliary storage device 4 .
[0011] The ROM 2 is a non-volatile memory and functions as a main storage device that stores various programs, data, etc. required for the CPU 1 to execute various programs installed in the auxiliary storage device 4. Specifically, the ROM 2 functions as a main storage device that stores boot programs such as a Basic Input / Output System (BIOS) and an Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI).
[0012] The RAM 3 is a volatile memory such as a dynamic random access memory (DRAM) or a static random access memory (SRAM). The RAM 3 functions as a main storage device that provides a working area in which various programs installed in the auxiliary storage device 4 are expanded when the CPU 1 executes them.
[0013] The auxiliary storage device 4 is an auxiliary storage device that stores various programs and information used when the various programs are executed.
[0014] The display device 5 is a display device that displays the internal state of the two-dimensional model generating device 10 and the like.
[0015] The operation device 6 is an input device through which an operator of the two-dimensional model generation device 10 inputs various instructions to the two-dimensional model generation device 10 .
[0016] The I / F device 7 is a communication device that connects to a network and communicates with other devices.
[0017] The drive device 8 is a device for loading a storage medium 9. The storage medium 9 here includes media that record information optically, electrically, or magnetically, such as CD-ROMs, flexible disks, and magneto-optical disks. The storage medium 9 may also include semiconductor memories that record information electrically, such as EPROMs (Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) and flash memories.
[0018] The various programs to be installed in the auxiliary storage device 4 are installed, for example, by setting the distributed storage medium 9 in the drive device 8 and reading the various programs recorded on the storage medium 9 by the drive device 8. Alternatively, the various programs to be installed in the auxiliary storage device 4 may be installed by being downloaded from a network via the I / F device 7.
[0019] The two-dimensional model generating device 10 functions as a computer-aided design (CAD) device by executing a program. As a result, when an operator inputs various information to the two-dimensional model generating device 10 via the operation device 6 or the like, the two-dimensional model generating device 10 draws and generates a two-dimensional model (2D CAD data) having multiple geometries based on the input information.
[0020] <Electrode> Next, the structure of the electrode 20, for which a two-dimensional model is generated by the two-dimensional model generation device (CAD device) 10, will be described with reference to Fig. 2 to Fig. 5. Fig. 2 is a side view of the assembled electrode 20. Fig. 3 is a side view of the disassembled electrode 20.
[0021] The electrode 20 shown in FIG. 2 is a graphite electrode used to melt iron scrap in, for example, a steelmaking electric furnace.
[0022] 2 and 3, the electrode 20 has a first columnar body 21, a first joint body 22, a second columnar body 23, a second joint body 24, and a third columnar body 25. That is, the electrode 20 has a connection structure in which a plurality of columns (21, 23, 25) are connected by joint bodies (22, 24). Note that the electrode 20 will be described using an example in which a structure in which three columns (21, 23, 25) are connected is used, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the electrode 20 may have a structure in which two columns are connected, or a structure in which four or more columns are connected.
[0023] The first columnar body 21, the second columnar body 23, and the third columnar body 25 are cylindrical members, and are formed from a solid composition containing graphite as a main component.
[0024] A truncated cone-shaped recess is formed on the end face (the lower face in Figs. 2 and 3) of the first columnar body 21. A first tapered female thread is formed on the inner peripheral side face of this recess. This first tapered female thread is mated with one of the tapered male threads of the first coupling body 22 (the tapered male thread formed on the side face of the upper truncated cone shape).
[0025] A truncated cone-shaped recess is formed on one end face (the upper face in Figs. 2 and 3) of the second columnar body 23. A second tapered female thread is formed on the inner peripheral side face of this recess. This second tapered female thread is threadably mated with the other tapered male thread of the first coupling body 22 (the tapered male thread formed on the side face of the lower truncated cone shape).
[0026] Similarly, a truncated cone-shaped recess is formed on the other end face (the lower face in Figs. 2 and 3) of the second columnar body 23. A third tapered female thread is formed on the inner peripheral side face of this recess. This third tapered female thread is threadably mated with one of the tapered male threads of the second coupling body 24 (the tapered male thread formed on the side face of the upper truncated cone shape).
[0027] A truncated cone-shaped recess is formed on the end face (top face in Figs. 2 and 3) of the third columnar body 25. A fourth tapered female thread is formed on the inner peripheral side face of this recess. This fourth tapered female thread is threadably mated with the other tapered male thread of the second joint body 24 (the tapered male thread formed on the side face of the lower truncated cone shape).
[0028] The first joint 22 and the second joint 24 are components having a shape in which two truncated cones are joined together with their bases (the bases with the larger radius) facing each other, and are formed from a solid composition whose main component is graphite.
[0029] One of the truncated cone-shaped side surfaces of the first joint body 22 is formed with one tapered male thread (first tapered male thread) that screws into the first tapered female thread of the first columnar body 21. In addition, the other of the truncated cone-shaped side surfaces of the first joint body 22 is formed with the other tapered male thread (second tapered male thread) that screws into the second tapered female thread of the second columnar body 23.
[0030] The tapered male thread (first tapered male thread) on one side of the first joint 22 and the tapered male thread (second tapered male thread) on the other side of the first joint 22 are formed with the same tapered male thread dimensions. Also, the first tapered female thread of the first columnar body 21 and the second tapered female thread of the second columnar body 23 are formed with the same tapered female thread dimensions.
[0031] Similarly, one of the truncated cone-shaped side surfaces of the second joint body 24 is formed with one tapered male thread (third tapered male thread) that screws into the third tapered female thread of the second columnar body 23. Furthermore, the other of the truncated cone-shaped side surfaces of the second joint body 24 is formed with the other tapered male thread (fourth tapered male thread) that screws into the fourth tapered female thread of the third columnar body 25.
[0032] The tapered male thread (third tapered male thread) on one side of the second joint body 24 and the tapered male thread (fourth tapered male thread) on the other side of the second joint body 24 are formed with the same tapered male thread dimensions. In addition, the third tapered female thread of the second columnar body 23 and the fourth tapered female thread of the third columnar body 25 are formed with the same tapered female thread dimensions.
[0033] At the time of shipping, the electrode 20 is shipped in a state in which the first columnar body 21, the second columnar body 23, and the third columnar body 25 are disassembled, as shown in FIG.
[0034] When the electrode 20 is shipped, one of the tapered male threads (first tapered male thread) of the first joint 22 is tightly fastened to the first tapered female thread of the first columnar body 21. That is, the electrode 20 is shipped with the first joint 22 attached to the first columnar body 21.
[0035] Similarly, when the electrode 20 is shipped, one of the tapered male threads (the third tapered male thread) of the second joint 24 is tightly fastened to the third tapered female thread of the second columnar body 23. That is, the electrode 20 is shipped with the second joint 24 attached to the second columnar body 23.
[0036] When the electrode 20 is used in a steelmaking electric furnace, as shown in Fig. 2, the electrode 20 connects a first columnar body 21, a second columnar body 23, and a third columnar body 25. That is, the first columnar body 21 and the second columnar body 23 are connected by threading the other tapered male thread (second tapered male thread) of the first joint body 22 with the second tapered female thread of the second columnar body 23. Also, the second columnar body 23 and the third columnar body 25 are connected by threading the other tapered male thread (fourth tapered male thread) of the second joint body 24 with the fourth tapered female thread of the third columnar body 25.
[0037] FIG. 4 is an example of a schematic cross-sectional view illustrating the fitted state of the first columnar body 21, the first coupling body 22, and the second columnar body 23.
[0038] In the assembled state of the electrode 20 (see FIG. 2), as shown in FIG. 4, the first tapered female thread of the first columnar body 21 and one tapered male thread of the first joint body 22 are in contact on both sides of the threads. In contrast, the second tapered female thread of the second columnar body 23 and the other tapered male thread of the first joint body 22 are in contact only on one side of the threads.
[0039] Next, various dimensions of the tapered thread will be explained using Fig. 5. Fig. 5 is a diagram for explaining various dimensions of the tapered thread.
[0040] " 1 " is the length of the first joint 22. The length of one of the tapered male threads (first tapered male thread) of the first joint 22 is "l 1 / 2". 2 " is the length of the tapered female thread of the first columnar body 21. 3 " is the effective length of the tapered female thread. 4 " is the relief length of the tapered male thread. 5 " is the relief length of the tapered female thread.
[0041] "d 1 " is the maximum diameter of the tapered male thread. "d 2 " is the effective diameter of the tapered male thread (the diameter obtained by subtracting the thread height from the maximum diameter of the thread). 3 " is the inner diameter of the tapered female thread. "d 4" is the effective diameter of the tapered female thread (the diameter obtained by subtracting the thread height from the maximum diameter of the thread).
[0042] <Two-dimensional model generation method> Next, a two-dimensional model generation method for generating a two-dimensional model (2D CAD data) of a cross-sectional view cut along the central axis of the electrode 20 in the connection structure of the first columnar body 21, the first joint body 22, and the second columnar body 23 will be described with reference to Fig. 6 to Fig. 15. Fig. 6 is a flowchart illustrating the two-dimensional model generation method.
[0043] In step S101, the pitch diameter of the male thread, the number of threads, the thread clearance, and the pitch diameter difference between the male thread and the female thread are parameterized. Here, the CPU 1 executes a program installed in the auxiliary storage device 4 or the like, thereby causing the 2D model generating device 10 to function as a CAD device. By executing the program installed in the auxiliary storage device 4 or the like, the CPU 1 parameterizes (variably converts) information that specifies an arbitrary value in step S103, which will be described later, out of various pieces of information regarding the coupling structure. In one example, as shown in FIG. 6 , the "pitch diameter of the male thread," "number of threads," "thread clearance," and "pitch diameter difference between the male thread and the female thread" are parameterized.
[0044] Here, the "effective diameter of the male screw" is the effective diameter d of the tapered male screw shown in FIG. 2 is.
[0045] Note that one tapered male thread (first tapered male thread) and the other tapered male thread (second tapered male thread) have the same shape, and the number of threads of the tapered male threads is also the same. Note that the "length of the male thread" (the length shown in FIG. 5) may be used instead of the "number of threads." 1 In this case, the number of threads may be calculated from the length of the male thread based on preset information on the pitch of the thread, etc.
[0046] "Thread removal" is the length from the end face to the start of thread cutting, and is the relief length l of the tapered male thread shown in Figure 5. 4 and the relief length of the tapered female thread l 5 is.
[0047] The "difference in effective diameter between the male and female threads" is the effective diameter d of the tapered male thread shown in FIG.2 and the effective diameter d of the tapered female thread 4 The difference between (d 4 -d 2 ) Note that the "effective diameter of the female thread" may be parameterized instead of the "effective diameter difference between the male thread and the female thread." In this case, the "effective diameter difference between the male thread and the female thread" may be calculated from the "effective diameter of the male thread" and the "effective diameter of the female thread."
[0048] The CPU 1 also generates an interface to be displayed on the display device 5. Fig. 7 shows an example of a parameter interface. In the example shown in Fig. 7, the CPU 1 generates an interface for inputting values for the pitch diameter (pd_pin) of the male screw, the number of threads (thread), etc.
[0049] In step S102, a formula for automatic drawing is set using the parameters of step S101. Here, the CPU 1 sets a formula for calculating, from the parameters of step S101, information that is not parameterized in step S101 among information necessary for drawing the connection structure of the first column 21, the first joint 22, and the second column 23.
[0050] 8 shows an example of an interface that displays the set formulas. The CPU 1 reads out, from the auxiliary storage device 4, a formula for calculating the movement amount z in step S106 (described later), a formula for calculating the movement amount r in step S108 (described later), and the like, and sets them.
[0051] In step S103, arbitrary values are assigned to the parameters set in step S101. Here, the CPU 1 displays an interface for inputting the information parameterized in step S101 ("male thread pitch diameter," "number of threads," "thread removal," and "male / female thread pitch diameter difference") on the display device 5, and accepts the input of parameters. The operator operates the operation device 6 or the like to input the parameter values. Figure 9 shows an example of an interface for parameters with values input.
[0052] In step S104, vertically symmetrical male and female threads are created in accordance with the values set in step S103. Fig. 10 shows an example of the right half of the bilaterally symmetrical two-dimensional axisymmetric model created in step S104.
[0053] The CPU 1 creates the geometry (shape) of the first column 21, the first joint (joint) 22, and the second column 23.
[0054] The first column 21 has a first column body body geometry 210 and a first tapered internal thread geometry 211. The first tapered internal thread geometry 211 is a geometry including the shape of the first tapered internal thread. The first column body body geometry 210 is a geometry of a portion of the first column body 21 other than the first tapered internal thread geometry 211.
[0055] The first joint 22 has a joint body geometry 220, a first tapered male thread geometry 221, and a second tapered male thread geometry 222. The first tapered male thread geometry 221 is a geometry that includes the shape of the first tapered male thread. The first tapered male thread geometry 221 also includes a tapered line segment 221a that is parallel to the taper angle of the first tapered male thread. The second tapered male thread geometry 222 is a geometry that includes the shape of the second tapered male thread. The second tapered male thread geometry 222 also includes a tapered line segment 222b that is parallel to the taper angle of the second tapered male thread. The joint body geometry 220 is the geometry of the portion of the first joint 22 other than the first tapered male thread geometry 221 and the second tapered male thread geometry 222. Fitting body geometry 220 includes a taper segment 220a that overlaps with taper segment 221a and a taper segment 220b that overlaps with taper segment 222b.
[0056] The second pillar 23 has a second pillar body geometry 230 and a second tapered internal thread geometry 231. The second tapered internal thread geometry 231 is a geometry including the shape of the second tapered internal thread. The second pillar body geometry 230 is a geometry of the portion of the second pillar 23 other than the second tapered internal thread geometry 231.
[0057] Here, the CPU 1 draws the fitting body main body geometry 220, the first tapered male thread geometry 221, and the second tapered male thread geometry 222 based on the "effective diameter of the male thread," "number of threads," and "thread clearance" input in step S103.
[0058] Next, the CPU 1 draws the first tapered female thread geometry 211 so that the shape of the first tapered male thread of the first tapered male thread geometry 221 overlaps with the shape of the first tapered female thread, and further draws the first columnar main body geometry 210.
[0059] In addition, the CPU 1 draws a second tapered female thread geometry 231 so that the shape of the second tapered male thread of the second tapered male thread geometry 222 overlaps with the shape of the second tapered female thread, and further draws a second columnar main body geometry 230.
[0060] Here, the first tapered male thread of the first tapered male thread geometry 221 and the second tapered male thread of the second tapered male thread geometry 222 are drawn at the pitch diameter of the male thread. On the other hand, the first tapered female thread of the first tapered female thread geometry 211 and the second tapered female thread of the second tapered female thread geometry 231 are not drawn at the pitch diameter of the female thread, but are drawn at the pitch diameter of the male thread. Furthermore, the first tapered male thread of the first tapered male thread geometry 221 and the first tapered female thread of the first tapered female thread geometry 211 are in contact with each other on both sides of the thread. Furthermore, the second tapered male thread of the second tapered male thread geometry 222 and the second tapered female thread of the second tapered female thread geometry 231 are in contact with each other on both sides of the thread.
[0061] In step S105, the entire upper thread portion and the lower female thread portion are horizontally moved by the amount of the difference in pitch diameter. Figure 11 shows an example of the two-dimensional model created in step S105.
[0062] Here, the CPU 1 moves the first tapered female thread geometry 211, the first tapered male thread geometry 221, and the second tapered female thread geometry 231 in the horizontal direction radially outward (see the outline arrows) by the difference in pitch diameter between the male and female threads. As a result, the first tapered female thread of the first tapered female thread geometry 211 and the second tapered female thread of the second tapered female thread geometry 231 are drawn at the position of the pitch diameter of the female thread. Furthermore, the first tapered male thread of the first tapered female thread geometry 211 and the first tapered female thread of the first tapered female thread geometry 211 are in contact on both sides of the threads.
[0063] In step S106, the main body of the male screw is moved in the vertical direction so that the line segment overlaps with the upper male screw. Fig. 12 shows an example of the two-dimensional model created in step S106.
[0064] Here, the CPU 1 moves the joint body main body geometry 220 in the vertical direction (see the hollow arrow) so that the taper line segment 220a (second taper line segment) of the joint body main body geometry 220 overlaps the taper line segment 221a (first taper line segment) of the first taper male thread geometry 221 in the two-dimensional model. Specifically, the CPU 1 calculates the vertical movement amount z based on the formula set in step S103 and the parameters input in step S104. Then, the CPU 1 moves the joint body main body geometry 220 in the vertical direction (see the hollow arrow) so that the taper line segment 220a (second taper line segment) of the joint body main body geometry 220 overlaps the taper line segment 221a (first taper line segment) of the first taper male thread geometry 221 in the two-dimensional model. The vertical movement amount z is calculated as (d3-d2) / tan θ, where θ is the taper angle, d2 is the effective diameter of the male thread, and d3 is the effective diameter of the female thread.
[0065] In step S107, the lower male thread portion is moved horizontally by the difference in pitch diameters. Figure 13 shows an example of the two-dimensional model created in step S107.
[0066] Here, the CPU 1 moves the second tapered male thread geometry 222 in the two-dimensional model in the horizontal direction (see the outline arrow, the direction opposite to the movement direction in step S105) radially inward by the amount of the difference in pitch diameter between the male and female threads (the amount of movement in step S105). As a result, the tapered line segment 222b (third tapered line segment) of the second tapered male thread geometry 222 overlaps with the tapered line segment 220b (fourth tapered line segment) of the joint body body geometry 220.
[0067] In step S108, the lower thread portion of the female thread is moved along the taper so that the lower line segment of the female thread coincides with the upper line segment of the male thread. Figure 14 is an example of a two-dimensional model created in step S108. Figure 15 is an example of a partial enlarged view of the second tapered male thread geometry 222 and the second tapered female thread geometry 231 of the two-dimensional model created in step S108.
[0068] Here, in the two-dimensional model, the CPU 1 moves the second tapered female thread geometry 231 in a direction along the taper (see the outline arrow) so that the lower line segment 231c of the thread of the second tapered female thread geometry 231 overlaps the upper line segment 222c of the thread of the second tapered male thread geometry 222. Specifically, the CPU 1 calculates a movement amount r in the direction along the taper based on the mathematical formula set in step S103 and the parameters input in step S104. The movement amount r in the direction along the taper is calculated as (d3 - d2) sin θ / 2 cos(30° - θ) in the horizontal direction and (d3 - d2) cos θ 2 cos(30° - θ) in the vertical direction, where θ is the taper angle, d2 is the effective diameter of the male thread, and d3 is the effective diameter of the female thread. Then, in the two-dimensional model, the CPU 1 moves in a direction along the taper (see the outline arrow) so that the lower line segment 231c of the thread of the second tapered female thread geometry 231 overlaps with the upper line segment 222c of the thread of the second tapered male thread geometry 222. As a result, the second tapered male thread geometry 222 and the second tapered female thread geometry 231 come into contact on one side of the thread.
[0069] As described above, the CPU 1 can generate the geometry of the connection structure in the electrode 20. That is, the two-dimensional model generating device 10 can generate a two-dimensional model having the geometry of the connection structure in the electrode 20. This can reduce the operator's working time.
[0070] In this way, the operator inputs parameterized information ("effective diameter of the male thread," "number of threads," "thread clearance," and "difference in effective diameter between the male thread and the female thread"), and the two-dimensional model generating device 10 generates a two-dimensional model based on the input parameters. The generated two-dimensional model can be used, for example, for analytical simulation of the electrode 20.
[0071] Although the parameterized information has been described using examples such as "pitch diameter of male thread," "number of threads," "thread clearance," and "difference in pitch diameter between male thread and female thread," the information is not limited to these. For example, the taper angle may also be parameterized.
[0072] The aspects of the present disclosure are, for example, as follows: [1] A two-dimensional model generation method for generating a two-dimensional model of a connection structure in which a first columnar body having a first tapered female thread portion and a second columnar body having a second tapered female thread portion are connected by a coupling body having a main body portion, a first tapered male thread portion, and a second tapered male thread portion, the method comprising the steps of: receiving input of parameters into a computer; drawing a vertically symmetrical main body portion, the vertically symmetrical first tapered male thread portion and the second tapered male thread portion, and the vertically symmetrical first tapered female thread portion and the second tapered female thread portion, based on the input parameters; moving the first tapered male thread portion, the first tapered female thread portion, and the second tapered female thread portion in a horizontal direction radially outward based on the input parameters; moving the main body portion of the coupling body in a vertical direction based on the input parameters; and moving the second tapered male thread portion in a horizontal direction radially inward based on the input parameters. a step of moving the second tapered female thread portion along a taper based on the input parameters. [2] The two-dimensional model generation method described in [1], wherein the input parameters include a pitch diameter of the male thread, the number of threads, thread clearance, and a pitch diameter difference between the male thread and the female thread.
