[0048] In addition, the technical features involved in the different embodiments of the present application described below can be combined with each other as long as they do not conflict with each other.
[0049] An off-grid hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system according to one embodiment of the present application, as shown in FIG1 , includes:
[0050] The new energy power generation unit 10 includes at least one power generation module driven by new energy.
[0051] The energy storage unit 20 is used to store or release electrical energy.
[0052] The power conversion unit 30 has an input connected to the new energy generation unit 10 and the energy storage unit 20 and is configured to convert the electrical energy output by the new energy generation unit 10 and the energy storage unit 20 into electrical energy suitable for hydrogen production. The power conversion unit 30 may include at least one interface for connecting to the new energy generation unit 10 and the energy storage unit 20.
[0053] The electrolysis unit 40 comprises a proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 and a solid oxide electrolysis module 402. The input of the electrolysis unit 40 is connected to the output of the power conversion unit 30. Upon receiving electrical energy, the electrolysis unit 40 generates hydrogen. The proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 accounts for more than 20% of the capacity of the electrolysis unit 40. The power conversion unit 30 includes a voltage conversion circuit and electrical interfaces that match the different hydrogen production modules in the electrolysis unit 40. These interfaces are adaptively selected based on the efficiency, operating range, and dynamic response characteristics of each hydrogen production module.
[0054] The controller 100 is connected to the new energy generation unit 10, the energy storage unit 20, and the power conversion unit 30. Based on the output power of the new energy generation unit 10, the controller 100 allocates the power required by the energy storage unit 20 and the power conversion unit 30 of the hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system. The energy storage unit 20 is used to provide a reference voltage and frequency to the power conversion unit 30 of the hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system, thereby translating fluctuations in the output power of the new energy generation unit 10. The controller 100 and energy storage unit 20 can be provided independently or integrated into the power conversion unit 30 or the electrolysis unit 40.
[0055] The off-grid hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system in the above embodiment includes a new energy power generation unit 10 and an energy storage unit 20. The power conversion unit 30 is used to convert the electric energy output by the new energy power generation unit 10 and the energy storage unit 20 into electric energy suitable for hydrogen production. The electrolysis unit 40 includes a proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 and a solid oxide electrolysis module 402, which are used to produce hydrogen after the introduction of electric energy. The controller 100 tracks the output electric energy of the new energy power generation unit 10 according to the charge and discharge control of the energy storage unit 20, so that the total electric energy fluctuation value output by the new energy power generation unit 10 and the energy storage unit 20 is within a set range. In the above scheme, the electrolysis unit 40 includes a solid oxide electrolysis module 402, which has a higher hydrogen production efficiency, thereby improving the hydrogen production efficiency of the entire hydrogen production system. In addition, the power supply method that cooperates with the new energy power generation unit 10 and the energy storage unit 20 can ensure that the hydrogen production system can achieve off-grid operation. Moreover, by controlling the energy storage unit 20 through the controller 100, random fluctuations in power generation of the new energy power generation unit 10 can be eliminated, the voltage and frequency required by the hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system can be maintained, the total power fluctuations output by the new energy power generation unit 10 and the energy storage unit 20 are kept within a set range, the influence of the power generation fluctuations of the new energy power generation unit 10 on the hydrogen production effect is eliminated, and the tracking accuracy of the power output of the new energy power generation unit 10 meets the requirements.
[0056] In some embodiments, the off-grid hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system is shown in FIG2 , wherein the solid oxide electrolysis module 402 is equipped with a reducing gas inlet; the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 is equipped with a hydrogen outlet; the hydrogen outlet is sealedly connected to the reducing gas inlet, and the hydrogen produced by the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 is partially transported to the solid oxide electrolysis module 402. In this embodiment, the solid oxide electrolysis module 402 has a long startup and shutdown time, and its operating pressure is much lower than that of the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401. It operates at 750-800°C under normal operating conditions. During the non-steady-state transition period such as startup and shutdown, the anode requires a reducing gas to prevent material oxidation. To this end, this embodiment introduces hydrogen from the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 into the solid oxide electrolysis module 402. During startup, the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 is first turned on to provide hydrogen as a reducing gas to the solid oxide electrolysis module 402 to prevent oxidation of the materials in the solid oxide electrolysis module 402.
[0057] In some embodiments of the off-grid hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system, as shown in FIG3 , the electrolysis unit 40 further includes an alkaline hydrogen production module 403, the input of which is connected to the output of the power conversion unit 30. This solution enriches the types of hydrogen production modules and improves hydrogen production efficiency.
[0058] In some embodiments, the off-grid hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system described in FIG4 includes an alkaline hydrogen production module equipped with a gas-liquid separator 404, and a proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 equipped with an oxygen outlet. The oxygen outlet of the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 is connected to the gas-liquid separator 404. The anode-cathode pressure difference of the alkaline hydrogen production module 403 needs to be strictly controlled in the low-load region. To this end, the oxygen outlet gas of the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 is introduced into the gas-liquid separator 404 of the alkaline hydrogen production module 403 to assist in regulating the anode-cathode pressure difference of the alkaline hydrogen production module 403.
[0059] Furthermore, as shown in FIG4 , in the off-grid hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system, the cold air output by the gas-liquid separator 404 is partially output to the cooling gas input port of the power conversion unit 30 to cool the power conversion unit 30. Specifically, the cold air is introduced into the back plate heat exchanger of the heating device of the power conversion unit 30. This solution cools the power conversion unit 30 by recovering the cold energy of the oxygen at the outlet of the gas-liquid separator 404, thereby reducing the load of additional cooling water. In specific implementation, the oxygen flow rate at the outlet of the gas-liquid separator 404 is proportionally matched to the power value of the power conversion unit 30, and thus has automatic negative feedback self-regulation capability.
[0060] Furthermore, as shown in FIG5 , the off-grid hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system further includes a heat exchange unit, including a thermal coupling module 405 . The thermal coupling module 405 is in contact with the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 , the solid oxide electrolysis module 402 , and the alkaline hydrogen production module 403 . The thermal coupling module 405 can also be used to convert and store excess electrical energy when the electrical energy provided by the power conversion unit 30 exceeds the electrical energy required for hydrogen production; and to release thermal energy to the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 and / or the solid oxide electrolysis module 402 and / or the alkaline hydrogen production module 403 when the new energy power generation unit 10 stops providing electrical energy. The thermal coupling module 405 can be made of insulating solid heat storage materials such as graphite, magnesia bricks, concrete, coal-grade materials, etc. By providing the thermal coupling module 405 , cascaded energy utilization can be achieved, allowing heat to be transferred across different times and spaces. In a specific implementation, the thermal coupling connection module 405 can store heat when the electric energy provided by the new energy power generation unit 10 is abundant. When there is no wind or sunlight, and the new energy power generation unit 10 has no electric energy output, the thermal coupling connection module 405 provides heat to the alkaline hydrogen production module 403. Because the cold start time of the alkaline hydrogen production module 403 can be as long as 1-2 hours, the thermal coupling connection module 405 prevents the alkaline hydrogen production module 403 from entering a cold state, thereby improving the life and rapid response capability of the alkaline hydrogen production module 403. Among them, the distance between the solid oxide electrolysis module 402 and the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 can also be set closer to achieve radiation heat transfer between the two. Because the solid oxide electrolysis module 402 needs to be operated at a temperature of 750°C, it has the function of radiation heat transfer.
[0061] As shown in Figure 6, the heat exchange unit also includes a heat exchange network module 406, which is obtained by encapsulating the separation submodule of the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 and the refrigeration submodule of the alkaline hydrogen production module 403; the heat exchange network module 406 is connected to the power conversion unit 30, and the heat exchange network module 406 is used to cool the power conversion unit 30. In the present application, the separation unit of the proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 (such as the steam-water separation cooling function module, the circulating water heating function module, and the purification module) and the separation unit of the alkaline hydrogen production module 403 (such as the steam-water separation cooling function module, the alkali liquid circulation heating function module, and the purification function module) are jointly designed as a heat exchange network module 406. The heat exchange network module 406 can be provided with multiple switching valves, and the connection or disconnection of the above-mentioned functional modules can be achieved by switching the valves, thereby improving the operational flexibility of the heat exchange process. The heat exchange network module 406 can be adsorption refrigeration, vapor compression refrigeration, steam absorption refrigeration, steam jet refrigeration, thermoelectric refrigeration, magnetic refrigeration, acoustic refrigeration, etc. The cooling capacity of the heat exchange network module 406 can be used to cool the power conversion unit 30, avoiding the need for additional cooling water. The proton exchange membrane hydrogen production module 401 and the solid oxide electrolysis module are thermally coupled by heat conduction or heat radiation.
[0062] As shown in FIG7 , the off-grid hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system described in some solutions further includes:
[0063] Water source 50 is used to provide pure water for hydrogen production. Pipeline 501, partially located outside the power conversion unit 30, has its input connected to the water source 50 and its output connected to the water inlet of the electrolysis unit 40. In this solution, room-temperature pure water (no cooling water required) used for electrolytic hydrogen production is first passed through the heat dissipation surface of the power conversion unit 30 to remove heat from the unit and avoid additional cooling water load.
[0064] As shown in FIG8 , the off-grid hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system described in some solutions further includes:
[0065] The alkali liquid tank 60 is used to provide alkali liquid to the alkaline hydrogen production module 403. A portion of the alkali liquid delivery pipe 601 is located outside the power conversion unit 30, with its input end connected to the alkali liquid tank 60 and its output end connected to the alkali liquid inlet of the alkaline hydrogen production module 403. In this solution, fresh alkali liquid or recycled alkali liquid from the alkali liquid tank 60 is passed through the alkali liquid delivery pipe 601 through the heat dissipation surface of the power conversion unit 30, removing heat from the power conversion unit 30 and avoiding additional cooling water load.
[0066] In the above scheme, as shown in Figure 9, the new energy power generation unit 10 in the off-grid hybrid electrolysis hydrogen production system includes a wind power generation module 101 and a photovoltaic power generation module 102; the controller 100 tracks the output power value of the new energy power generation unit 10 and adjusts the output power value of the energy storage unit 20 according to the tracking result; if the tracking result exceeds the set range, the energy storage unit 20 is controlled to store the excess power; if the tracking result is lower than the set range, the energy storage unit 20 is controlled to output power to supplement the power difference between the tracking result and the set range. Through this scheme, the controller 100 can control the power fluctuations generated by the wind power generation module 101 and the photovoltaic power generation module 102 within a certain range, and can achieve the same stability as the power grid, thereby replacing the power supply function of the power grid. This scheme can operate stably in an off-grid state.
[0067] Obviously, the above embodiments are merely examples for clarity of explanation and are not intended to limit the implementation methods. Those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that other variations or modifications based on the above descriptions are possible. It is not necessary and impossible to enumerate all implementation methods here. Obvious variations or modifications arising therefrom remain within the scope of protection of this application.
