[0003] International Publication No. 2010 / 032814
[0004] In a switch device in which the relative position of the detecting part and the detected part is changed by the reciprocating motion of a drive member, stoppers are provided on one side and the other side of the reciprocating motion of the drive member to regulate the position of the reciprocating motion. In a switch device equipped with such stoppers, a collision noise is likely to occur when the drive member abuts against the stopper. For this reason, it is considered to provide an elastic body on the drive member to reduce the collision noise with the stopper.
[0005] However, since a force is applied to the elastic body each time the drive member and stopper come into contact with each other during the switching operation of the switch device, it is necessary to prevent the elastic member from shifting position or falling off. In particular, in a switch device equipped with a snap action mechanism, the switching speed of the drive member when an operating member (such as an operating button) is operated does not depend on the operating speed of the operating member, so when an elastic body is provided in the drive member, more sufficient measures are required to support the elastic body than in a normal switch device.
[0006] An object of the present invention is to provide a switch device in which a drive member can sufficiently support an elastic body that suppresses collision noise with a stopper.
[0007] One aspect of the present invention comprises a drive member having one of a detecting portion and a detectable portion, and changing the relative position of the detecting portion and the detectable portion by reciprocating motion along a first direction; a stopper having a fixed relative position with respect to the other of the detecting portion and the detectable portion, and abutting the drive member to limit the range of movement of the drive member; and an elastic body held by the drive member, wherein the stopper has a first stopper that limits movement on one side in the first direction and a second stopper that limits movement on the other side in the first direction, and the elastic body has a first abutment portion that is arranged to be able to abut against the first stopper, a second abutment portion that is arranged to be able to abut against the second stopper, and a connecting portion that connects the first abutment portion and the second abutment portion.
[0008] According to this configuration, the elastic body has a first contact portion that can contact the first stopper, a second contact portion that can contact the second stopper, and a connecting portion that connects the first and second contact portions, so that the first and second contact portions are integrally held by the drive member, which prevents the elastic body from falling off or shifting, and reduces the noise of collision with the stopper.
[0009] In the above switch device, it is preferable that the elastic body be a separate body that is softer than the drive member and have an engagement structure that locks the elastic body to the drive member. In this case, it is preferable that the elastic body be held in the drive member so that it cannot fall off through elastic deformation. As a result, the elastic body is held to the drive member by its elastic recovery force and is securely fixed by the engagement structure.
[0010] In the above switch device, the connecting portion may have a first support portion having a portion located on the other side of the first abutment in the first direction and supporting the first abutment, a second support portion having a portion located on one side of the second abutment in the first direction and supporting the second abutment, and a base portion located between the first support portion and the second support portion, wherein the first support portion and the second support portion extend from different positions on the base in the first direction in a direction intersecting the first direction. This allows the elastic body to be easily attached to the drive member by holding a part of the elastic body, such as the base, and moving it in the direction intersecting the first direction.
[0011] The switch device may further include a positioning member for positioning the elastic body relative to the drive member, whereby the elastic body is reliably positioned and fixed relative to the drive member.
[0012] The switch device may have a plurality of engagement structures. In this case, it is preferable that at least one of the plurality of engagement structures has a disengagement direction different from the others. This prevents all of the engagement structures from being disengaged by an external force in one direction different from the first direction, and prevents the elastic body from falling off the drive member.
[0013] The switch device preferably has a fastening assisting portion that prevents the engagement structure from being disengaged. In the switch device, the fastening assisting portion may have a protrusion and a hole into which the protrusion is inserted.
[0014] The switch device may have a positioning member that positions the elastic body relative to the drive member, the positioning member including a positioning protrusion provided on the drive member and an engagement hole provided on the elastic body into which the positioning protrusion is inserted, and the protrusion of the fastening auxiliary part may be provided on the drive member and protrude in the same direction as the positioning protrusion, and the positioning protrusion may protrude further than the protrusion of the fastening auxiliary part. This allows the positioning protrusion to engage with the elastic body before the protrusion of the fastening auxiliary part, so that engagement of the fastening auxiliary part begins in a positioned state, making engagement less likely to occur. Furthermore, engagement of the engagement structure before engagement of the fastening auxiliary part begins more reliably prevents engagement failure between the protrusion and the engagement hole.
[0015] In the above switch device, the engagement structure preferably has a recess provided in the elastic body, opening in a first direction, and having a through-hole in one of its side walls, and an engagement protrusion provided in the drive member, which passes through the through-hole and engages with the bottom of the recess, and the side wall portion of the recess facing the through-hole and continuing to the bottom preferably has a predetermined thickness in the direction of disengagement of the engagement structure. Thus, in the engagement structure in which the engagement protrusion passes through the through-hole and engages with the bottom of the recess, even if the recess is provided in the elastic body, reinforcement by the side wall portion is provided, and elastic deformation of the recess is suppressed.
[0016] In the above switch device, the drive member may have a first holding portion and a second holding portion aligned in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and a drive connecting portion connecting the first holding portion and the second holding portion, and the elastic body may be provided across the first holding portion and the second holding portion and have an engagement structure for engaging with the first holding portion and an engagement structure for engaging with the second holding portion, whereby one elastic body is held by the drive member for the first holding portion and the second holding portion as the drive member.
[0017] In the switch device, the first abutment portion may have a portion overlapping with the drive connecting portion when viewed in the first direction. Also, in the switch device, two second abutment portions may be provided, and one of the two second abutment portions may have a portion overlapping with the first holding portion when viewed in the first direction, and the other of the two second abutment portions may have a portion overlapping with the second holding portion.
[0018] In the switch device, the drive member may have a guide portion that contacts the second support portion to elastically deform the base portion and move the second support portion to a position where it can engage with the drive member when assembling the drive member and the elastic body, thereby facilitating assembly of the elastic body to the drive member.
[0019] In the above switch device, the second support preferably has an inclined portion conforming to the guide portion at a portion that comes into contact with the guide portion when assembling the drive member and the elastic body, thereby preventing the second support from being caught when assembling the elastic body to the drive member.
[0020] In the above switch device, it is preferable that the switch device has an engagement structure that locks the second support portion, which has climbed over the guide portion, onto the drive member when assembling the drive member and the elastic body, thereby preventing the elastic body from coming off after the elastic body is assembled to the drive member.
[0021] In the above switch device, the drive member may have a tapered portion expanding from one side to the other side in a predetermined opposing direction, the base portion may have a first portion on a first surface shaped like the tapered portion that faces one side of the tapered portion in the opposing direction, the second support portion may have a second portion that faces the other side of the tapered portion in the opposing direction, and the second portion may have a second surface shaped like the tapered portion on the other side in the opposing direction. In this way, when the elastic body is assembled to the drive member, the second surface of the second support portion expands along the tapered portion and overcomes the tapered portion to be fixed by the second portion.
[0022] In the above switch device, it is preferable that the switch device has an engagement structure that engages the second portion with the drive member in an engagement direction that intersects the opposing direction and the first direction, thereby preventing the elastic body from coming off after being assembled with the drive member.
[0023] In the above switch device, the driving member and the engaging structure are engaged with each other by overlapping opposing surfaces when viewed from the first direction, the driving member may have a tapered portion on the side opposite the opposing surface, and the engaging structure may have a surface shaped similar to the tapered portion on the side opposite the opposing surface, so that when the elastic body is assembled to the driving member, the engaging structure expands along the tapered portion and overcomes the tapered portion to be fixed by the engaging structure.
[0024] The switch device preferably has a sticking prevention portion on at least one of the first contact portion and the first stopper. Also, the switch device preferably has a sticking prevention portion on at least one of the second contact portion and the second stopper. This prevents damage and malfunctions caused by sticking due to close contact between the surfaces of the elastic body and the drive member.
[0025] The switch device may have a quick-acting mechanism, which effectively prevents the elastic body from falling off or shifting in position, and reduces the noise of collisions with the stopper, even in a configuration in which the drive member is reciprocated by the quick-acting mechanism and the range of movement is limited by the stopper.
[0026] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a switch device in which the drive member can sufficiently support an elastic body that suppresses collision noise with the stopper.

[0028] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description, the same components will be designated by the same reference numerals, and the description of components that have already been described will be omitted as appropriate.
[0029] (Switch Device) FIG. 1 is an external perspective view illustrating a switch device according to this embodiment. FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a switch device according to this embodiment. In the switch device 1 according to this embodiment, a portion of an operating member 6 protrudes from a portion of the top surface of a box-shaped housing 2, and the operating member 6 receives a pressing operation from an operator or the like to switch the conductive state. In the description of this embodiment, the forward / backward direction of the operation of the operating member 6 is referred to as the Z1-Z2 direction, one of the directions perpendicular to the Z1-Z2 direction is referred to as the X1-X2 direction, and a direction perpendicular to the Z1-Z2 direction and the X1-X2 direction is referred to as the Y1-Y2 direction. The Z1-Z2 direction is an example of a first direction. The X1-X2 direction is an example of a second direction. The Y1-Y2 direction is an example of a third direction. For convenience of explanation, the Z1-Z2 direction will also be referred to as the up-down direction, and the Z1 side will also be referred to as the upper side (top) and the Z2 side as the lower side (bottom).
[0030] The switch device 1 includes a housing 2 formed by molding, for example, an insulating resin material. The housing 2 has a box-shaped lower case 21 that is open at the top, and an upper case 22 that covers the upper opening of the lower case 21. A switch mechanism 10, which will be described later, is incorporated into a storage section of the lower case 21 and is closed by the upper case 22. A cover 3 is attached to a portion of an operating member 6 that protrudes from the top of the housing 2 to prevent foreign matter such as dust and water from entering the housing 2.
[0031] The upper case 22 is formed with an opening 221 through which the upper end of the shaft 62 of the operating member 6 can pass. In addition, a groove 222 is formed around the opening 221 of the upper case 22, into which the outer edge of the cover 3 described above is fitted.
[0032] The operating member 6 has a shaft 62 that can advance and retreat in the vertical direction, and a guide portion 63 that guides the advance and retreat movement of the shaft 62. The upper end side of the shaft 62 protrudes upward from the opening 221 of the upper case 22 through a through-hole 631 provided in the guide portion 63. The guide portion 63 is fitted inside the housing portion of the lower case 21, and a convex portion 632 provided in the guide portion 63 engages with a concave portion 621 provided in the shaft 62 to regulate the advance and retreat movement of the shaft 62 in the vertical direction.
[0033] The switch mechanism 10, which is incorporated into the housing of the lower case 21, is engaged with the operating member 6 within the housing. The forward and backward movement of the shaft 62 of the operating member 6 is transmitted to the switch mechanism 10, which switches the conductive state.
[0034] (Switch Mechanism) FIG. 3 is a perspective view illustrating an example of the switch mechanism. FIGS. 4 and 5 are cross-sectional views illustrating the operation of the switch mechanism. FIG. 4 shows a first switching state, and FIG. 5 shows a second switching state. The switch mechanism 10 is a mechanism that switches contacts when pressed by the shaft portion 62 of the operating member 6, and includes a drive member 11, a stopper 12, and an elastic body 13. The drive member 11 has a holder 111 and a drive body 112. The holder 111 holds a movable contact P0 that switches the connection state with fixed contacts (first contact P1 and second contact P2) fixed to the base 110. The drive body 112 swings as the shaft portion 62 moves back and forth. A spring 113 is attached between the holder 111 and the drive body 112.
[0035] Either the fixed contacts (first contact P1 and second contact P2) or the movable contact P0 is a detecting part, and the other is a detected part. The holder 111 changes the relative position of the detecting part and the detected part by reciprocating along the Z1-Z2 direction (first direction). One end 111a of the holder 111 abuts against a first support part 1101 extending from the base 110, and the other end 111b is configured to swing in the Z1-Z2 direction with the abutting end 111a as a fulcrum. A movable contact P0 is provided on the other end 111b of the holder 111. The movable contact P0 is configured to slide while sandwiching the fixed contact in the X1-X2 direction, for example. The swinging of the holder 111 causes the movable contact P0 to reciprocate in the Z1-Z2 direction, sliding between the first contact P1 and the second contact P2 and coming into contact with them.
[0036] The first contact P1 and the second contact P2, which are fixed contacts, are attached to a second support portion 1102 extending from the base 110. The first contact P1 and the second contact P2 are arranged side by side in the Z1-Z2 direction with an insulating region interposed between them. The movable contact P0 moves back and forth in the Z1-Z2 direction due to the swinging of the holding portion 111, whereby the movable contact P0 comes into contact with either the first contact P1 or the second contact P2, thereby switching electrical conduction. Here, the base 110 may be formed by integral molding on the bottom of the lower case 21. Alternatively, the base 110 may be formed separately, and a housing portion opening downward may be formed in the upper case 22, and the upper case 22 and the base 110 may be joined to close the opening from the lower side of the upper case 22 to form an integrated structure.
[0037] The holding portion 111 is formed of a metal material, for example, by sheet metal processing, and is conductive. The first support portion 1101, which the holding portion 111 abuts, is also formed of a metal material. The first support portion 1101 penetrates the base 110 and is electrically connected to a common terminal C0 extending from the underside of the base 110. Here, the first support portion 1101 and the common terminal C0 may be integrally formed by, for example, sheet metal processing a metal material.
[0038] The second support portion 1102 that supports the first contact P1 and the second contact P2 is formed of an insulating resin material. The second support portion 1102 may be molded integrally with the base 110. The first contact P1 supported by the second support portion 1102 is part of a first conductive portion 1106 that penetrates the base 110. The first conductive portion 1106 is electrically connected to a first terminal C1 that extends from below the base 110. The second contact P2 supported by the second support portion 1102 is part of a second conductive portion 1107 that penetrates the base 110. The second conductive portion 1107 is electrically insulated from the first conductive portion 1106 and is electrically connected to a second terminal C2 that extends from below the base 110.
[0039] The driver 112 is formed from a metal material, for example, by sheet metal processing, and is disposed below the holder 111. One end 112a of the driver 112 (the side opposite the fulcrum side of the holder 111) abuts against a third support 1103 extending from the base 110, and the other end 112b is arranged to swing in the Z1-Z2 direction with the abutting end 112a as a fulcrum. As a result, the holder 111 and the driver 112 are arranged so that opposite ends of each other swing in the Z1-Z2 direction. A spring 113 is connected between the other end 112b of the driver 112 and the other end 111b of the holder 111.
[0040] The other end 112b of the driver 112 abuts against the shaft 62 of the operating member 6, and the other end 112b of the driver 112 is pushed down by pushing down the shaft 62. When the other end 112b of the driver 112 is pushed down, a force is transmitted to the other end 111b of the holder 111 via the spring 113, causing the holder 111 to swing. The holder 111, driver 112, and spring 113 form a snap action mechanism (quick action mechanism).
[0041] The stopper 12 abuts against the drive member 11 to limit the range of movement of the drive member 11. The stopper 12 has a first stopper 121 that limits movement of the drive member 11 on one side (Z1 side) in the Z1-Z2 direction, and a second stopper 122 that limits movement on the other side (Z2 side) in the Z1-Z2 direction. The first stopper 121 is provided, for example, to extend downward from the lower surface of the upper case 22. The second stopper 122 is provided, for example, to extend upward from the base 110. In this embodiment, the upper end of the third support portion 1103 serves as the second stopper 122.
[0042] The holding portion 111 of the drive member 11 swings in the Z1-Z2 direction in response to the movement of the shaft portion 62 of the operating member 6, switching the state of conduction with the corresponding fixed contact. At this time, when the holding portion 111 moves toward the Z1 side in the Z1-Z2 direction and abuts against the first stopper 121, movement toward the Z1 side beyond that position is restricted. Conversely, when the holding portion 111 moves toward the Z2 side in the Z1-Z2 direction and abuts against the second stopper 122, movement toward the Z2 side beyond that position is restricted.
[0043] In the switch device 1, two of each of the base 110, the first support portion 1101, the second support portion 1102, the third support portion 1103, the first conductive portion 1106, the second conductive portion 1107, the common terminal C0, the first terminal C1, and the second terminal C2 may be provided. These are arranged side by side in the X1-X2 direction (second direction). In this case, the drive member 11 has a first holding portion 111A, a second holding portion 111B, a driver 112, and a drive connecting portion 115 connecting the first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B (see FIG. 6). The first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B are arranged side by side in the X1-X2 direction (second direction).
[0044] The drive connecting portion 115 is formed of an insulating resin material and is attached to connect the first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B. In this embodiment, the first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B are integrally held in the drive connecting portion 115 by insert molding and are mechanically connected, but a portion embedded in the drive connecting portion 115 is separated, and they are electrically independent from each other. By being connected by the drive connecting portion 115, the first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B interlock while ensuring mutual insulation. The driver 112 is shared by the first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B. In the switch device 1 having these configurations, multiple circuits can be switched in synchronization, one circuit using fixed contacts (first contact P1 and second contact P2) corresponding to the movable contact P0 held in the first holding portion 111A, and the other circuit using fixed contacts (first contact P1 and second contact P2) corresponding to the movable contact P0 held in the second holding portion 111B, thereby ensuring redundancy and improving fault tolerance.
[0045] (Switching Operation of Switch Device) Next, the switching operation of the switch device 1 according to this embodiment will be described. As shown in Fig. 4, in a state where no pressing operation is performed (initial state), the movable contact P0 moves upward and comes into contact with the first contact P1. In this case, a circuit is formed in which the first contact P1 (first terminal C1) and the movable contact P0 (common terminal C0) are electrically connected as a normally closed contact (first switching state).
[0046] When the operating member 6 is pressed and the other end 112b of the driver 112 is pushed downward, the other end 112b of the driver 112 swings downward with the one end 112a of the driver 112 as the swing fulcrum against the biasing force of the spring 113. However, until the other end 112b of the driver 112 reaches a predetermined limit position, the holding portion 111 remains stopped in the initial position. Therefore, the movable contact P0 remains in contact with the first contact P1.
[0047] When the other end 112b of the driver 112 swings to a predetermined limit position, the direction of the biasing force of the spring 113 acting on the holder 111 and the driver 112 reverses, pulling the other end 111b of the holder 111 downward and instantly swinging the other end 111b of the holder 111 downward with the one end 111a as the fulcrum (see FIG. 5 ). In this case, the movable contact P0 slides from the first contact P1 to the second contact P2 and comes into contact with the second contact P2. This forms a circuit in which the second contact P2 (second terminal C2) and the movable contact P0 (common terminal C0) are electrically connected as a normally open contact (second switching state).
[0048] On the other hand, when the pressing operation on the operating member 6 is released, the one end 112b of the driver 112 swings upward with the other end 112a as a fulcrum in response to the biasing force of the spring 113. However, the holding portion 111 remains stopped until the other end 112b of the driver 112 reaches a predetermined limit position. Therefore, the movable contact P0 remains in contact with the second contact P2.
[0049] When the other end 112b of the driver 112 swings to a predetermined limit position, the direction of the biasing force of the spring 113 acting on the holder 111 and the driver 112 reverses, pulling the other end 111b of the holder 111 upward via the spring 113. The other end 111b of the holder 111 instantly swings upward around the one end 111a as a fulcrum, returning to its initial position (see FIG. 4). In this case, the movable contact P0 slides from the second contact P2 to the first contact P1 and comes into contact with the first contact P1. This forms a normally closed circuit between the first contact P1 (first terminal C1) and the movable contact P0 (common terminal C0) (first switching state).
[0050] In this way, the switch device 1 is equipped with a snap action mechanism, so that when the operating member 6 is pressed to a predetermined limit position, the spring force of the spring 113 instantly drives the holding portion 111 on which the movable contact P0 is provided, thereby switching the conductive state.
[0051] (Elastic Body) Fig. 6 is a perspective view illustrating the elastic body. Fig. 7 is an exploded perspective view illustrating the elastic body. Fig. 8 is a perspective view illustrating an example of the elastic body. The elastic body 13 is held by the driving member 11. In this embodiment, as a specific example, the elastic body 13 is placed over the drive connecting portion 115 that connects the first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B.
[0052] The elastic body 13 has a first contact portion 131 that is capable of contacting the first stopper 121 (see FIGS. 4 and 5), a second contact portion 132 that is capable of contacting the second stopper 122 (see FIGS. 4 and 5), and a connecting portion 133 that connects the first contact portion 131 and the second contact portion 132. The elastic body 13 is made of a material that is softer than the driving member 11 and is provided separately from the driving member 11. As a result, the elastic force of the elastic body 13 is utilized to attach the elastic body 13 to the driving member 11 so as to cover it. The elastic body 13 is held to the driving member 11 by its elastic recovery force.
[0053] Furthermore, because the first contact portion 131 and the second contact portion 132 are connected by the connecting portion 133, it is not necessary to attach the first contact portion 131 and the second contact portion 132 as separate elastic members. Therefore, by attaching one (integrated) elastic body 13, the attachment of the impact noise reduction member corresponding to the two stoppers (the first stopper 121 and the second stopper 122) is completed.
[0054] An engagement structure 15 for engaging the elastic body 13 with the drive member 11 is provided between the elastic body 13 and the drive member 11. The engagement structure 15 is composed of an engagement protrusion 151 provided on the elastic body 13 and an engagement recess 152 provided on, for example, the drive connecting portion 115 of the drive member 11. The drive member 11 and the engagement structure 15 are engaged with each other with their opposing surfaces overlapping when viewed from a first direction (Z1-Z2 direction). When the engagement protrusion 151 is engaged with the engagement recess 152 with the elastic body 13 placed over the drive connecting portion 115, the elastic body 13 is securely fixed to the drive member 11 by the engagement structure 15. In this engagement structure 15, the engagement direction, which is the deformation direction of the member (elastic body 13 in this embodiment) that forms the engagement structure, is a direction (for example, X1-X2 direction) that intersects with the first direction (Z1-Z2 direction), and the locking direction, which is the direction in which the relative displacement of elastic body 13 with respect to drive member 11 is restricted, is the first direction (Z1-Z2 direction). Because the locking direction by engagement structure 15 matches the swing direction of holding portion 111, detachment or curling of elastic body 13 due to swinging of holding portion 111 is effectively suppressed.
[0055] In this specification, the term "engagement structure" refers to a structure in which the elastic body 13 and the drive member 11, etc., interact with each other, including mechanical contact. Therefore, specific examples of the engagement structure include not only a snap-fit structure such as the engagement structure 15 of this embodiment, but also fitting and insertion in which a protrusion is inserted into a hole. In the case of fitting and insertion, the engagement direction is a direction intersecting the insertion direction. For example, when a protrusion extending in a first direction is inserted while elastically deforming, its elastic recovery force presses against the inner wall of the fitting hole to form an engagement structure, so the radial direction of the fitting hole (a direction intersecting the first direction) becomes the engagement direction. The engagement of a protrusion inserted into a fitting hole may be due to a shear force between the outer surface of the protrusion inserted into the fitting hole and the inner surface of the fitting hole. Alternatively, the protrusion may have a portion whose outer diameter is larger than the opening of the fitting hole, and this portion may abut against the opening, thereby engaging the protrusion. In either case, the engagement direction includes the insertion direction of the protrusion into the fitting hole (the first direction).
[0056] Furthermore, in the above example, the drive connecting portion 115, one of the components of the drive member 11, engages the elastic body 13, but this is not limiting. The retaining portion 111 (first retaining portion 111A, second retaining portion 111B) may also engage the elastic body 13. As a specific example, a through hole or slit may be formed in the plate-shaped retaining portion 111 whose thickness direction is the first direction, and the elastic body 13 may have a partially reduced diameter portion in the first direction, and this reduced diameter portion may be disposed so as to be located within the through hole or slit. In this case, the elastic body 13 is engaged with the drive member 11 by a large outer diameter portion located at the end of the reduced diameter portion of the elastic body 13 abutting against the periphery of the opening of the through hole or slit in the retaining portion 111.
[0057] The connecting portion 133 of the elastic body 13 has a first support portion 1331, a second support portion 1332, and a base portion 1333. The first support portion 1331 has a portion located on the other side (Z2 side) of the first abutting portion 131 in the Z1-Z2 direction (first direction) and facing the first abutting portion 131, and is a portion that supports the first abutting portion 131. The second support portion 1332 has a portion located on one side (Z1 side) of the second abutting portion 132 in the Z1-Z2 direction (first direction) and facing the second abutting portion 132, and is a portion that supports the second abutting portion 132. The base portion 1333 is located between the first support portion 1331 and the second support portion 1332, and has a portion that extends in the Z1-Z2 direction.
[0058] The first support portion 1331 and the second support portion 1332 are provided at different positions in the Z1-Z2 direction (first direction) on the base portion 1333, i.e., at different positions in the up-down direction, and extend in a direction intersecting the first direction (for example, the X1-X2 direction). This makes it possible to easily attach the elastic body 13 to the drive member 11 by holding a part of the elastic body 13, such as the base portion 1333, and moving it in a direction intersecting the first direction (for example, the X1-X2 direction).
[0059] In a preferred example, the first support portion 1331 and the second support portion 1332 extend in the same direction from different positions on the base portion 1333 in the vertical direction (Z1-Z2 direction). This forms the elastic body 13 in a U-shape with the base portion 1333 as the bottom. The drive member 11 and the elastic body 13 can be easily assembled by moving the elastic body 13 so that the drive member 11 is accommodated in the opening of this U-shape. For example, when the first support portion 1331 and the second support portion 1332 extend from the base portion 1333 toward the X1 side in the X1-X2 direction, the U-shaped portion formed by the elastic body 13 has an opening that opens toward the X1 side in the X1-X2 direction. Therefore, the drive member 11 and the elastic body 13 can be easily assembled by moving the U-shaped portion of the elastic body 13 toward the X1 side in the X1-X2 direction relative to the drive member 11.
[0060] Furthermore, when the driving member 11 has a first holding portion 111A and a second holding portion 111B, the elastic body 13 is provided across the first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B, and has a first engagement structure 15A that is engaged with the first holding portion 111A and a second engagement structure 15B that is engaged with the second holding portion 111B. This allows the elastic body 13 to be securely fixed to the driving member 11 by the first engagement structure 15A and the second engagement structure 15B, with the first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B covered so as to be embraced by a single elastic body 13.
[0061] In the elastic body 13 that is provided across the first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B, two second abutment portions 132 are provided, and when viewed in the Z1-Z2 direction (first direction), one of the two second abutment portions 132 has a portion that overlaps with the first holding portion 111A, and the other of the two second abutment portions 132 has a portion that overlaps with the second holding portion 111B.
[0062] At least one of the first contact portion 131 and the first stopper 121 (see FIG. 4 ) of the elastic body 13 is provided with a sticking prevention portion 140 that prevents sticking when the elastic body 13 and the first stopper 121 come into contact. In the example shown in FIG. 8 , the first contact portion 131 is provided with a convex sticking prevention portion 140. When the sticking prevention portion 140 is provided, the contact area between the first contact portion 131 and the first stopper 121 is reduced compared to when the sticking prevention portion 140 is not provided. In other words, only a portion of the opposing surfaces of the first contact portion 131 and the first stopper 121 come into contact with each other, rather than the entire surface. This suppresses sticking when the first contact portion 131 and the first stopper 121 remain in contact with each other for a long period of time.
[0063] The sticking prevention portion 140 may be provided on at least one of the second contact portion 132 and the second stopper 122 (see FIGS. 4 and 5). Furthermore, the sticking prevention portion 140 may be formed in a shape other than a convex shape, such as a concave shape, a roughened surface, or a discontinuous shape, as long as it reduces the contact area between the contact portion and the stopper. Furthermore, the sticking prevention portion 140 may be formed so as to form an air flow passage that communicates between the inside and outside of the opposing surfaces of the contact portion and the stopper.
[0064] (Method of Attaching Elastic Body) Next, a method of attaching the elastic body 13 will be described. FIG. 9 is a perspective view illustrating an example of how the elastic body is attached to the hoop material. FIG. 10 is an exploded perspective view illustrating an example of how the elastic body is attached to the hoop material. The hoop material 300 to which the elastic body 13 is attached includes a molded body 310 formed by pressing a metal plate to form a first holding portion 111A and a second holding portion 111B, and a drive connecting portion 115. The drive connecting portion 115 is integrally fixed to the molded body 310 by, for example, insert molding. A movable contact P0 is attached to the tip portions of the first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B by crimping or the like. The hoop material 300 is formed by forming the molded body 310 and the drive connecting portion 115 continuously in one direction (Y1-Y2 direction), and is separated into individual molded bodies 310 after a predetermined assembly process is completed. For convenience of explanation, only one molded body 310 and the drive connecting portion 115 are shown as the hoop material 300 in FIGS.
[0065] The hoop material 300 has feed holes 300h provided at a predetermined pitch in the frame portion 300a, and is sequentially fed by an automatic assembly machine using these feed holes 300h for assembly. The elastic body 13 is placed over the drive connecting portion 115 in the state of the hoop material 300.
[0066] Figures 11 to 17 are diagrams illustrating a method for attaching the elastic body. Figures 11, 13, and 15 show perspective views of the hoop material 300 viewed obliquely from above. Figure 12 shows a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A in Figure 11, Figure 14 shows a cross-sectional view taken along line B-B in Figure 13, and Figure 16 shows a cross-sectional view taken along line C-C in Figure 15. Figures 17A to 17D show partially enlarged views of the first engagement structure 15A side, illustrating the engagement state between the elastic body 13 and the drive connecting portion 115.
[0067] First, as shown in FIGS. 11 , 12 , and 17A , the elastic body 13 is placed on the drive connecting portion 115 of the hoop material 300. A positioning member 16 is provided between the drive connecting portion 115 and the elastic body 13 to position the elastic body 13 with respect to the drive connecting portion 115. For example, the positioning member 16 is configured with a protrusion 161 provided on the drive connecting portion 115 side and a hole 162 provided on the elastic body 13 side. The positioning protrusion 161 fits into the hole 162, which is an engagement hole, thereby positioning the elastic body 13 with respect to the drive connecting portion 115. Note that the positioning member 16 may also be a hole provided on the drive connecting portion 115 side and a protrusion provided on the elastic body 13 side. Furthermore, the positioning member 16 does not have to have a convex and concave butting structure in which one holds the other.
[0068] Furthermore, a fastening auxiliary portion 17 that prevents disengagement of the engagement structure 15 is provided between the drive connecting portion 115 and the elastic body 13. The fastening auxiliary portion 17 is composed of a protrusion 171 provided on the drive connecting portion 115 side and a hole 172 provided on the elastic body 13 side. The protrusion 171 fits into the hole 172, preventing the elastic body 13 from floating up or rolling up from the drive connecting portion 115, and holding the elastic body 13 in an inoperable state on the drive member 11. Note that the fastening auxiliary portion 17 may also be a hole provided on the drive connecting portion 115 side and a protrusion provided on the elastic body 13 side. In one example, the disengagement direction is the same direction as the engagement direction but opposite to it. However, if disengagement is prevented by restricting displacement of the elastic body 13 before the members are deformed in the engagement direction during engagement, the direction that prevents disengagement does not have to coincide with the disengagement direction. The fastening auxiliary portion 17 restricts displacement of the elastic body 13 in the Z1-Z2 direction, and although this direction is different from the engagement direction of the elastic body 13 (X1-X2 direction, Y1-Y2 direction), even if the elastic body 13 is displaced in the disengagement direction (for example, the X1-X2 direction), it can be re-engaged as long as it is not displaced in the Z1-Z2 direction, thereby effectively preventing disengagement.
[0069] Here, the protrusion 171 of the fastening auxiliary portion 17 protrudes in the same direction as the protrusion 161 of the positioning member 16. Furthermore, it is preferable that the protrusion 161 of the positioning member 16 protrudes further than the protrusion 171 of the fastening auxiliary portion 17. As a result, the protrusion 161 of the positioning member 16 engages with the elastic body 13 before the protrusion 171 of the fastening auxiliary portion 17 does, so that the engagement of the fastening auxiliary portion 17 begins in a positioned state, making it less likely that poor engagement will occur. Furthermore, if the positioning member 16 is engaged before the engagement of the fastening auxiliary portion 17 begins, poor engagement between the protrusion 161 of the positioning member 16 and the hole 162 can be more reliably suppressed.
[0070] Next, as shown in Figures 13, 14, 17B and 17C, after the elastic body 13 has been positioned relative to the drive connection portion 115 by the positioning member 16, the elastic body 13 is placed over the drive connection portion 115 (see arrow A in Figure 17B).
[0071] The drive connecting portion 115 has a tapered portion 1151 that widens from one side (e.g., the Z1 side) to the other side (e.g., the Z2 side) in a predetermined opposing direction (e.g., the Z1-Z2 direction). The base portion 1333 has a first portion a1 (see FIG. 12) that faces one side of the tapered portion 1151 in the opposing direction on a first surface f1 that conforms to the tapered portion 1151. The second support portion 1332 has a second portion a2 (see FIG. 12) that faces the other side of the tapered portion 1151 in the opposing direction. The second portion a2 has a second surface f2 that conforms to the tapered portion 1151 on the other side in the opposing direction.
[0072] When the drive connecting portion 115 of the drive member 11 and the elastic body 13 are assembled, and the drive connecting portion 115 and the elastic body 13 move closer to each other in the first direction (Z1-Z2 direction), the tapered portion 1151 comes into contact with the second support portion 1332, elastically deforming the base portion 1333 and serving as a guide portion that moves the second support portion 1332 to a position where it can engage with the drive connecting portion 115.
[0073] The second support portion 1332 has an inclined portion S on at least a portion of the second surface f2 that contacts the tapered portion 1151 when the drive connecting portion 115 and the elastic body 13 are assembled. The inclined portion S elastically deforms the base portion 1333 in accordance with the tapered portion 1151 when the elastic body 13 is assembled to the drive connecting portion 115. For example, when the elastic body 13 is placed over the drive connecting portion 115, the inclined portion S of the second support portion 1332 of the elastic body 13 contacts the tapered portion 1151 of the drive connecting portion 115, guiding the second support portion 1332 to spread outward (see arrow B in FIG. 17B ). As a result, the elastic body 13 is fitted into the drive connecting portion 115 with the second support portion 1332 spread outward (see arrow C in FIG. 17C ).
[0074] Next, as shown in Fig. 14, a tool T is pressed against the outside of the second support portion 1332 to push the second support portion 1332 inward and engage it with the engagement structure 15 (see arrow D in Fig. 17D). As a result, as shown in Figs. 15 and 16, the elastic body 13 is placed over the drive connecting portion 115 and is securely fixed by the engagement structure 15. In this way, the elastic body 13 is held in place by the drive member 11 via elastic deformation so as not to fall off.
[0075] FIG. 18 is a perspective view illustrating an engagement structure provided on the second support portion. FIG. 18 shows a perspective view of the engagement structure 15 shown in FIG. 17D as viewed from the Z2 side in the Z1-Z2 direction. The engagement structure 15, which engages the second support portion 1332 with the drive connecting portion 115, has a structure that locks the second support portion 1332, which has climbed over the tapered portion 1151, to the drive connecting portion 115 when assembling the drive connecting portion 115 and the elastic body 13. In other words, the locking structure is configured to lock the second portion a2 to the drive connecting portion 115 in the engagement direction, which is the opposing direction and a direction intersecting the first direction (e.g., the X1-X2 direction).
[0076] For example, the second portion a2 of the second support portion 1332 is bent in a substantially L-shape relative to the base portion 1333, and the second surface f2 is provided with an inclined portion S and a second abutment portion 132. With the elastic body 13 fitted into the drive connecting portion 115 and the second support portion 1332 spread outward, the second support portion 1332 is pushed inward with a tool T, causing the substantially L-shaped second portion a2 to abut against the underside of the drive connecting portion 115. The engagement structure 15 is engaged by a so-called snap fit, with a protrusion 154 provided on the second portion a2 fitted into a recess 153 provided in the drive connecting portion 115. This engagement allows the elastic body 13 to be engaged in both a first direction (the Z1-Z2 direction) and a direction intersecting the first direction (for example, the Y1-Y2 direction).
[0077] As shown in FIG. 7 , when the first holding portion 111A and the second holding portion 111B are provided, two engagement structures 15, a first engagement structure 15A and a second engagement structure 15B, are provided between the elastic body 13 and the drive connection portion 115. The first engagement structure 15A and the second engagement structure 15B have different disengagement directions. The disengagement direction refers to a direction different from the direction in which the lock loosens (e.g., the Z1-Z2 direction). This prevents both the first engagement structure 15A and the second engagement structure 15B from being disengaged by an external force in a direction different from the first direction, and prevents the elastic body 13 from falling off the drive connection portion 115.
[0078] FIG. 19 is a perspective view illustrating another engagement structure. FIG. 20 is an enlarged cross-sectional view illustrating another engagement structure. FIG. 20 shows an enlarged cross-sectional view of portion D in FIG. 19 . The other engagement structure 18 is provided between the drive connecting portion 115 and the elastic body 13 at a position different from that of the engagement structure 15. That is, the engagement structure 18 is provided between the first engagement structure 15A and the second engagement structure 15B in the X1-X2 direction, and is provided on the Y2 side of the first engagement structure 15A and the second engagement structure 15B in the Y1-Y2 direction. The engagement structure 18 has a recess 181 provided in the elastic body 13 and an engagement protrusion 182 provided on the drive connecting portion 115 of the drive member 11. The recess 181 opens in the Z1-Z2 direction (first direction) and has a through-hole 181h in one of its side walls (side wall 181a).
[0079] The engaging protrusion 182 passes through a through-hole 181h provided in the elastic body 13 and engages with the bottom 181b of the recess 181. In the recess 181 of the engaging structure 18, a side wall 181c that faces the through-hole 181h and is continuous with the bottom 181b has a predetermined thickness in the disengagement direction of the engaging structure 18.
[0080] Such an engagement structure 18 prevents the elastic body 13 from floating up or rolling up. For example, when the holding portion 111 swings, the tip side (Y2 side) moves more than the fulcrum side (Y1 side). If the elastic body 13 were to stick to the stopper 12 (see FIGS. 4 and 5), the swinging of the holding portion 111 would likely cause the elastic body 13 to peel off or roll up from the drive connecting portion 115 on the Y2 side. By providing the engagement structure 18 on the Y2 side of the elastic body 13, it is possible to effectively prevent the elastic body 13 from floating up or rolling up.
[0081] Furthermore, even if the recess 181 is provided in the elastic body 13, the side wall portion 181c having a predetermined thickness provides reinforcement, and elastic deformation at the recess 181 can be effectively suppressed.
[0082] According to this embodiment, it is possible to provide a switch device 1 that can adequately support the elastic body 13 that suppresses the collision noise with the stopper 12 on the drive member 11 .
[0083] Although the present embodiment has been described above, the present invention is not limited to these examples. For example, the contact between the movable contact P0, the first contact P1, and the second contact P2 may be sliding contact or butting contact. Furthermore, while the detecting unit and the detected unit are shown as being contact-type contacts using the movable contact P0, the first contact P1, and the second contact P2, other types of detecting unit and detected unit may be used, such as optical types (light-receiving and emitting unit and shielding plate) or magnetic types (magnetic sensor and magnetic generating means). In this case, the detecting unit and the detected unit may be provided on the driving member 11. Furthermore, the scope of the present invention includes those in which a person skilled in the art appropriately adds, deletes, or modifies components of the above-described embodiments, as well as appropriate combinations of the features of the configuration examples of the respective embodiments, as long as they maintain the gist of the present invention.
