FIG. 13 is a flowchart showing another example of a display control method using the display control device of FIG. 1.
[0012] A display control device according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a first operation detection unit that detects a first operation to output and display a target image, which is an image displayed on a first display device among a plurality of display devices each capable of displaying an image, to a second display device different from the first display device; a first selection acceptance unit that, when the first operation is detected, accepts a first selection of whether or not to agree to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device using the second display device; and a control unit that, when it is selected to agree to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device, outputs and displays the target image on the second display device.
[0013] According to this, when consent is selected to output and display an image displayed on the first display device on the second display device, the image can be displayed on the second display device. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the image from being unintentionally displayed on the second display device, and the image displayed on the first display device can be displayed on the second display device at a more appropriate timing.
[0014] In addition, in a display control device according to one aspect of the present disclosure, the control unit may not display the target image on the second display device if it is selected not to consent to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device.
[0015] According to this, when a user selects not to consent to outputting and displaying an image displayed on the first display device on the second display device, the image can be prevented from being displayed on the second display device. Therefore, the image can be prevented from being unintentionally displayed on the second display device, and the image displayed on the first display device can be displayed on the second display device at a more appropriate timing.
[0016] In addition, a display control device according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a first setting acceptance unit that accepts a first setting that prevents the target image from being displayed on the second display device when a selection is not made as to whether or not to agree to output and display the target image on the second display device even after a predetermined time has elapsed since the acceptance of the first selection began, and the control unit may not prevent the target image from being displayed on the second display device if the first setting is made when a selection is not made as to whether or not to agree to output and display the target image on the second display device even after the predetermined time has elapsed.
[0017] According to this, even if the user fails to select within a predetermined time not to consent to outputting and displaying the image displayed on the first display device on the second display device, the image can be prevented from being displayed on the second display device. Therefore, the image can be prevented from being unintentionally displayed on the second display device, and the image displayed on the first display device can be displayed on the second display device at a more appropriate timing.
[0018] In addition, a display control device according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a second selection receiving unit that, when the first operation is detected, receives a second selection of whether or not to stop outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device using the first display device, and the control unit may, when it is selected to stop outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device, stop outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device.
[0019] According to this, even if the user does not select not to consent to outputting and displaying the image displayed on the first display device on the second display device, the user can select to stop outputting and displaying the image on the second display device, thereby preventing the image from being displayed on the second display device. Therefore, the image displayed on the first display device can be displayed on the second display device at a more appropriate timing, since the image can be prevented from being unintentionally displayed on the second display device.
[0020] In addition, in a display control device according to one aspect of the present disclosure, the first selection receiving unit may receive the first selection by displaying an option of whether or not to agree to output and display the target image on the second display device, or a thumbnail of the target image, on the second display device, and the control unit may output and display the target image on the second display device when an option that agrees to output and display the target image on the second display device is selected, or when the thumbnail is tapped.
[0021] This allows the user to easily select, by means of the options or thumbnails, whether or not to consent to outputting and displaying the image displayed on the first display device on the second display device.
[0022] In addition, in a display control device according to one aspect of the present disclosure, the first selection receiving unit may determine a position on the second display device at which to display the options or the thumbnails based on the position of the first display device relative to the second display device, and display the options or the thumbnails at the determined position.
[0023] This allows the position of the first display device to be predicted based on the position of the option or thumbnail, making it easy to predict which of the multiple display devices the displayed image will be output on.
[0024] In addition, in a display control device according to one aspect of the present disclosure, the plurality of display devices correspond to each of a plurality of seats in a vehicle having a plurality of seats and have display devices capable of displaying the image so that the image can be seen by a person sitting in that seat, and the device is equipped with a presence / absence information acquisition unit that acquires presence / absence information from a presence / absence information detection unit that detects presence / absence information indicating whether or not a person is sitting in each of the plurality of seats, and a presence / absence determination unit that determines whether or not a person is sitting in each of the plurality of seats based on the presence / absence information, and when the first operation is detected, the first selection acceptance unit does not accept the first selection if the person is not sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device, and the control unit may output the target image to the second display device for display if the person is not sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device.
[0025] According to this, when no one is sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device, the image displayed on the first display device can be easily output to the second display device and displayed without consent from the person to output the image to the second display device and display it thereon.
[0026] In addition, in a display control device according to one aspect of the present disclosure, the plurality of display devices correspond to each of the plurality of seats in a vehicle having a plurality of seats including a driver's seat, and have display devices capable of displaying the image so that the person sitting in the seat can see it; the device is equipped with a driving information acquisition unit that acquires the driving information from a driving information detection unit that detects driving information indicating the driving state of the vehicle by the person sitting in the driver's seat; and a decision unit that decides whether to accept the first selection based on the driving information when the display device corresponding to the driver's seat is the second display device; and when the first operation is detected and it is determined not to accept the first selection, the first selection acceptance unit does not accept the first selection, and the control unit may not display the target image on the second display device if it is determined not to accept the first selection.
[0027] This allows the image to be prevented from being displayed on the second display device even in a situation where the person in the driver's seat cannot choose not to consent to the image displayed on the first display device being output to and displayed on the second display device, etc. Therefore, the image can be prevented from being unintentionally displayed on the second display device, and the image displayed on the first display device can be displayed on the second display device at a more appropriate timing.
[0028] Furthermore, a display control device according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a second setting acceptance unit that accepts, for each of the plurality of display devices, a second setting that does not accept the first selection when the display device is the second display device, and when the first operation is detected and the second setting has been set for a display device that is the second display device among the plurality of display devices, the first selection acceptance unit may not accept the first selection, and when the second setting has been set for a display device that is the second display device among the plurality of display devices, the control unit may output the target image to the second display device and display it.
[0029] According to this, if the second display device is a display device that is set not to accept the choice of whether or not to consent to outputting and displaying an image displayed on the first display device on the second display device, the image can be easily output to and displayed on the second display device without consenting to outputting and displaying the image on the second display device.
[0030] In addition, a display control device according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a second operation receiving unit that, when the first operation is detected, receives a second operation using the second display device to output and display the target image on a third display device that is different from the first display device and the second display device among the plurality of display devices, and the control unit may, when the second operation is performed, output and display the target image on the third display device.
[0031] This allows the image displayed on the first display device to be output to and displayed on the third display device.
[0032] Furthermore, a display control method according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a first operation detection step of detecting a first operation for outputting and displaying a target image, which is the image displayed on a first display device among a plurality of display devices each capable of displaying an image, to a second display device different from the first display device; a first selection acceptance step of accepting, using the second display device, a first selection of whether or not to agree to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device when the first operation is detected; and a control step of outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device when it is selected to agree to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device.
[0033] This provides the same effects as the above-described display control device.
[0034] A program according to an aspect of the present disclosure is a program for causing a computer to execute the above-described display control method.
[0035] This provides the same effects as the above-described display control device.
[0036] Hereinafter, the embodiments will be specifically described with reference to the drawings.

[0038] 1 is a schematic diagram showing a vehicle 1 equipped with a display control device 10 (described later) according to an embodiment. First, the vehicle 1 will be described with reference to FIG.
[0039] 1, the X-axis direction indicates the longitudinal direction of the vehicle 1, with the positive side of the X-axis direction indicating the front and the negative side of the X-axis direction indicating the rear. The Y-axis direction indicates the lateral direction of the vehicle 1, with the positive side of the Y-axis direction indicating the left and the negative side of the Y-axis direction indicating the right. The Z-axis direction indicates the vertical direction of the vehicle 1, with the positive side of the Z-axis direction indicating the upward direction and the negative side of the Z-axis direction indicating the downward direction.
[0040] Hereinafter, the front-rear direction of the vehicle 1 may be simply referred to as the front-rear direction. The left-right direction of the vehicle 1 may be simply referred to as the left-right direction. The up-down direction of the vehicle 1 may be simply referred to as the up-down direction.
[0041] 1, a vehicle 1 includes a plurality of seats 2a to 2d and a plurality of display devices 3a to 3e. For example, the vehicle 1 is an automobile or the like.
[0042] Seat 2a is the driver's seat. Seat 2b is the passenger seat. Seat 2c is the right rear seat. Seat 2d is the left rear seat. Here, a person 100a is sitting in seat 2a, and a person 100b is sitting in seat 2b.
[0043] Each of the multiple display devices 3a to 3d is capable of displaying an image. The multiple display devices 3a to 3d are arranged in the vehicle 1. The multiple display devices 3a to 3d correspond to each of the multiple seats 2a to 2d and include a display device capable of displaying an image so that a person sitting in that seat can see it. Specifically, the display device 3a corresponds to the seat 2a and is capable of displaying an image so that a person 100a sitting in the seat 2a can see it. The display device 3b corresponds to the seat 2b and is capable of displaying an image so that a person 100b sitting in the seat 2b can see it. The display device 3c corresponds to the seat 2c and is capable of displaying an image so that a person sitting in the seat 2c can see it. The display device 3d corresponds to the seat 2d and is capable of displaying an image so that a person sitting in the seat 2d can see it. For example, the display devices 3a and 3b are arranged on the dashboard of the vehicle 1, the display device 3c is arranged on the headrest of the seat 2a or on the ceiling of the vehicle 1, and the display device 3d is arranged on the headrest of the seat 2b or on the ceiling of the vehicle 1. Each of the plurality of display devices 3a to 3d is configured by a touch panel display or the like.
[0044] The display device 3e is a display device in a mobile terminal. In this example, the display device 3e is a display device in a mobile terminal of the person 100b sitting in the seat 2b. For example, the mobile terminal is a smartphone, a tablet terminal, or the like.
[0045] Fig. 2 is a block diagram showing the hardware configuration of the display control device 10 etc. shown in Fig. 1. Next, the hardware configuration of the display control device 10 etc. will be described with reference to Fig. 2.
[0046] As shown in FIG. 2, the vehicle 1 is equipped with a sensor group 4 .
[0047] The sensor group 4 is an example of a presence / absence information detection unit that detects presence / absence information indicating whether or not a person is sitting in each of the plurality of seats 2a to 2d. For example, the sensor group 4 includes load sensors arranged on the plurality of seats 2a to 2d. When a person is sitting in each of the plurality of seats 2a to 2d, the load sensor arranged on that seat detects a load equal to or greater than a predetermined value. The presence / absence information includes the magnitude of the load detected by the load sensor, and a seat in which a load equal to or greater than the predetermined value is detected indicates that a person is sitting in that seat. Note that the presence / absence information detection unit may be, for example, a camera or the like.
[0048] The sensor group 4 is an example of a driving information detection unit that detects driving information indicating the driving state of the vehicle 1 by the person 100a sitting in the driver's seat 2a. For example, the sensor group 4 includes an accelerator position sensor, a speed sensor, an acceleration sensor, and the like. The driving information includes the depression amount of the accelerator pedal of the vehicle 1 detected by the accelerator position sensor. If the depression amount is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, it indicates that the vehicle 1 is rapidly accelerating. The driving information also includes the speed of the vehicle 1 detected by the speed sensor. If the speed is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, it indicates that the vehicle 1 is traveling at high speed. The driving information also includes the acceleration of the vehicle 1 detected by the acceleration sensor. If the acceleration in the lateral direction is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, it indicates that the vehicle 1 is traveling around a curve.
[0049] The display control device 10 includes a CPU (Central Processing Unit) 11, a memory 12, a storage 13, a communication interface 14, and a plurality of SoCs (System on Chip) 15a to 15d, which are interconnected so as to be able to communicate with each other.
[0050] The communication interface 14 is a communication interface for communicating with the display device 3e, the sensor group 4, and the like.
[0051] SoC 15a controls display device 3a, SoC 15b controls display device 3b, SoC 15c controls display device 3c, and SoC 15d controls display device 3d.
[0052] Fig. 3 is a block diagram showing the functional configuration of the display control device 10 etc. in Fig. 1. Next, the functional configuration of the display control device 10 etc. will be described with reference to Fig. 3.
[0053] 3, the display control device 10 includes a first operation detection unit 20, a setting reception unit 21, a selection necessity determination unit 22, a presence / absence information acquisition unit 23, a presence / absence determination unit 24, a driving information acquisition unit 25, a selection necessity determination unit 26, an acceptance selection reception unit 27, a cancellation selection reception unit 28, a second operation reception unit 29, and a control unit 30. These components are realized by a CPU 11, a memory 12, a storage 13, a communication interface 14, and a plurality of SoCs 15a to 15d.
[0054] The first operation detection unit 20 detects a first operation for outputting and displaying a target image, which is an image displayed on a first display device among the plurality of display devices 3 a to 3 e, on a second display device different from the first display device. For example, when the first operation is performed, information indicating that the first operation has been performed is transmitted to the first operation detection unit 20, and the first operation detection unit 20 detects the first operation by acquiring the information.
[0055] For example, a first operation can be performed using each of the multiple display devices 3a-3e. When the first operation is performed using the display device, each of the multiple display devices 3a-3e transmits information indicating that the first operation has been performed to the first operation detection unit 20. The first display device is the display device among the multiple display devices 3a-3e on which the first operation has been performed, and the second display device is determined by the first operation from among the multiple display devices 3a-3e. Specifically, a person 100a sitting in seat 2a performs a first operation using display device 3a to output and display an image displayed on display device 3a on display device 3b. In this case, information indicating that the first operation has been performed is transmitted from display device 3a to the first operation detection unit 20, and the first operation detection unit 20 acquires the information and detects the first operation. In this case, display device 3a becomes the first display device, and display device 3b becomes the second display device.
[0056] The first operation may be an operation for displaying the entire target image on the second display device, or an operation for displaying a portion of the target image on the second display device and displaying the target image across the first and second display devices. The first operation may also be an operation for moving the target image to the second display device, an operation for copying the target image to the second display device, or an operation for mirroring the target image on the second display device. If the target image is an image of an application, the application may be operated using the second display device, thereby granting the person sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device operation authority. If the target image is an image of an application, the application may be operated using either the first or second display device, thereby sharing the application operation authority between the person sitting in the seat corresponding to the first display device and the person sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device.
[0057] The setting acceptance unit 21 is an example of a first setting acceptance unit that accepts a first setting. The first setting is a setting that prevents the target image from being displayed on the second display device if a selection of whether to accept outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device is not made even after a predetermined time has elapsed since acceptance of the first selection of whether to accept outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device. In other words, when the first setting is made, the target image is not displayed on the second display device even after a predetermined time has elapsed since acceptance of the first selection was started unless a selection of whether to accept outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device is made.
[0058] For example, the setting reception unit 21 can display a first setting screen for making the first setting on each of the plurality of display devices 3a-3e, and accepts the first setting through the first setting screen displayed on the display device. Specifically, the person 100a sitting in the seat 2a can open the first setting screen by operating the display device 3a, and make the first setting from the first setting screen displayed on the display device 3a. In this case, the first setting may be applied only when the display device 3a is the second display device, or may be applied when each of the plurality of display devices 3a-3e is the second display device.
[0059] Note that instead of the first setting, a setting may be made to display the target image on the second display device when no selection is made as to whether or not to accept outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device even after a predetermined time has elapsed since the start of acceptance of the first selection as to whether or not to accept outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device. Also, it may be possible to select whether to make this setting or the first setting for each of the plurality of display devices 3 a to 3 e.
[0060] The setting acceptance unit 21 is an example of a second setting acceptance unit that accepts a second setting. The second setting is a setting that does not accept the first selection for each of the plurality of display devices 3a to 3e when that display device is the second display device. In other words, if the display device to which the second setting is set among the plurality of display devices 3a to 3e is the second display device, the first selection is not accepted.
[0061] For example, the setting acceptance unit 21 can display a second setting screen for making the second setting on each of the multiple display devices 3a to 3e, and accepts the second setting via the second setting screen displayed on the display device. Specifically, the person 100a sitting in the seat 2a can open the second setting screen by operating the display device 3a, and make the second setting from the second setting screen displayed on the display device 3a. In this case, the second setting may be made only for the display device 3a, or may be made for each of the multiple display devices 3a to 3e. By making the second setting for the display device 3a, it is possible to prevent the first selection from being accepted when the display device 3a is the second display device.
[0062] The selection necessity determination unit 22 determines whether it is necessary to accept a first selection of whether to consent to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device. For example, the selection necessity determination unit 22 identifies the second display device from the first operation detected by the first operation detection unit 20, and determines that the first selection is unnecessary if the second setting is set for the second display device, and determines that the first selection is necessary if the second setting is not set.
[0063] The presence / absence information acquisition unit 23 acquires the presence / absence information detected by the sensor group 4. The presence / absence information acquisition unit 23 may acquire the presence / absence information every time the first operation detection unit 20 detects the first operation, or may acquire the presence / absence information periodically.
[0064] The presence / absence determination unit 24 determines whether or not a person is sitting in each of the plurality of seats 2 a to 2 d based on the presence / absence information. For example, when the presence / absence information indicates that the person 100 a is sitting in the seat 2 a, the presence / absence determination unit 24 determines that the person 100 a is sitting in the seat 2 a.
[0065] The driving information acquisition unit 25 acquires driving information detected by the sensor group 4. The driving information acquisition unit 25 may acquire the driving information every time the first operation detection unit 20 detects the first operation, or may acquire the driving information periodically.
[0066] The selection necessity determining unit 26 determines whether to accept a first selection of whether to consent to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device.
[0067] For example, the selection necessity determining unit 26 determines not to accept the first selection when no one is sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device.
[0068] Furthermore, when the display device 3a corresponding to the driver's seat 2a is the second display device, the selection necessity determining unit 26 determines whether to accept the first selection based on the driving information. For example, when the driving state is such that it is possible to select whether to consent to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device, the selection necessity determining unit 26 determines to accept the first selection. On the other hand, when the driving state is such that it is impossible to select whether to consent to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device, the selection necessity determining unit 26 determines not to accept the first selection. Specifically, when the driving state of the vehicle 1 is a state of rapid acceleration, the selection necessity determining unit 26 determines not to accept the first selection. When the driving state of the vehicle 1 is a state of traveling at high speed, the selection necessity determining unit 26 determines not to accept the first selection. When the driving state of the vehicle 1 is a state of traveling around a curve, the selection necessity determining unit 26 determines not to accept the first selection.
[0069] When a first operation is detected by the first operation detection unit 20, the consent selection receiving unit 27 uses the second display device to receive a first selection of whether or not to consent to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device.
[0070] For example, the consent selection accepting unit 27 accepts the first selection by displaying an option of whether or not to accept output and display of the target image on the second display device, or a thumbnail of the target image, on the second display device. Whether the option or thumbnail is to be displayed is set in advance by the people sitting in the multiple seats 2a to 2d, etc. The consent selection accepting unit 27 may accept the first selection by voice, by displaying an icon, or by displaying an animation. The consent selection accepting unit 27 may also vibrate the second display device when accepting the first selection. The consent selection accepting unit 27 may also accept the first selection by combining these methods.
[0071] The consent selection accepting unit 27 determines the position on the second display device where the options or thumbnails are to be displayed based on the position of the first display device relative to the second display device, and displays the options or thumbnails at the determined position. For example, when the first display device is located forward of the second display device in the front-to-back direction, the consent selection accepting unit 27 displays the options or thumbnails at the top of the display screen of the second display device. Also, when the first display device is located to the left of the second display device in the left-to-right direction, the consent selection accepting unit 27 displays the options or thumbnails at the left of the display screen of the second display device. For example, for each of the multiple display devices 3a to 3d, it is pre-registered which of the multiple seats 2a to 2d the display device corresponds to, and the consent selection accepting unit 27 identifies the positional relationship between these devices from the registered information. In addition, the display device 3e and the vehicle 1 are equipped with a GPS (Global Positioning System) or the like, and the consent selection receiving unit 27 determines the positional relationship between the display device 3e and the displays 3a to 3d based on the position information of the display device 3e and the position information of the vehicle 1.
[0072] When the first operation is detected by the first operation detection unit 20 and the selection necessity determination unit 26 determines not to accept the first selection, the consent selection acceptance unit 27 does not accept the first selection. For example, when the first operation is detected by the first operation detection unit 20 and no one is sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device, the consent selection acceptance unit 27 does not accept the first selection. Furthermore, when the first operation is detected by the first operation detection unit 20 and the second setting is set for the display device that is the second display device among the plurality of display devices 3a to 3e, the consent selection acceptance unit 27 does not accept the first selection.
[0073] The cancel selection receiving unit 28 is an example of a second selection receiving unit that, when a first operation is detected by the first operation detection unit 20, receives a second selection using the first display device as to whether or not to cancel the output and display of the target image on the second display device.
[0074] For example, the cancel selection accepting unit 28 accepts the second selection by causing the first display device to display an option of whether or not to cancel the output and display of the target image on the second display device. Note that the cancel selection accepting unit 28 may accept the second selection before the selection of consenting to the output and display of the target image on the second display device is made, or may accept the second selection after the selection of consenting to the output and display of the target image on the second display device is made.
[0075] When a first operation is detected by the first operation detection unit 20, the second operation receiving unit 29 uses the second display device to receive a second operation for outputting and displaying a target image on a third display device different from the first and second display devices among the plurality of display devices 3a to 3e.
[0076] For example, the second operation accepting unit 29 accepts the second operation by causing the second display device to display an option of whether or not to output and display the target image on the third display device. The second operation accepting unit 29 may accept the second operation by voice, by displaying an icon, or by displaying an animation. The second operation accepting unit 29 may also vibrate the second display device when accepting the second operation. The second operation accepting unit 29 may also accept the second operation by combining these methods. The second operation may be accepted before accepting the first selection, after accepting the first selection, or simultaneously with accepting the first selection.
[0077] The second operation may be an operation for displaying the entire target image on the third display device, or an operation for displaying a part of the target image on the third display device and displaying the target image across the second display device and the third display device. The second operation may also be an operation for moving the target image to the third display device, an operation for copying the target image to the third display device, or an operation for mirroring the target image on the third display device.
[0078] The control unit 30 includes an output determination unit 31 and an output processing unit 32 .
[0079] The output determination unit 31 determines whether or not consent to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device has been selected in the first selection accepted by the consent selection acceptance unit 27. When consent to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device has been selected, the output processing unit 32 outputs the target image to the second display device and displays it.
[0080] Specifically, the output determination unit 31 determines whether an option for agreeing to output and display the target image on the second display device is selected from among options for whether to agree to output and display the target image on the second display device, or whether the thumbnail is tapped. If an option for agreeing to output and display the target image on the second display device is selected from among the options, or if the thumbnail is tapped, the output processing unit 32 outputs and displays the target image on the second display device.
[0081] Furthermore, the output determination unit 31 determines whether or not the selection to not consent to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device has been selected in the first selection accepted by the consent selection acceptance unit 27. If the selection to not consent to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device has been selected, the output processing unit 32 does not display the target image on the second display device.
[0082] Specifically, the output determination unit 31 determines whether or not an option indicating that the target image should not be output and displayed on the second display device has been selected from among the options for whether or not to consent to the output and display of the target image on the second display device. If an option indicating that the target image should not be output and displayed on the second display device has been selected from the options, the output processing unit 32 does not output and display the target image on the second display device.
[0083] Furthermore, the output determination unit 31 determines whether or not the first setting is made. When a predetermined time has elapsed since the acceptance selection acceptance unit 27 started accepting the first selection and no selection is made as to whether or not to accept outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device, the output processing unit 32 does not display the target image on the second display device if the first setting is made.
[0084] Furthermore, the output determination unit 31 determines whether or not it has been selected to stop outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device. If it has been selected to stop outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device, the output processing unit 32 stops outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device. For example, if it has been selected to stop outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device after outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device, the output processing unit 32 causes the second display device to display, in place of the target image, the image that was displayed on the second display device before the target image was displayed on the second display device.
[0085] Furthermore, the output determination unit 31 determines whether or not a person is sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device. If no person is sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device, the output processing unit 32 outputs the target image to the second display device to display it.
[0086] Furthermore, the output determination unit 31 determines whether the selection necessity determination unit 26 has determined not to accept the first selection based on the driving information. If the selection necessity determination unit 26 has determined not to accept the first selection based on the driving information, the output processing unit 32 does not display the target image on the second display device.
[0087] Furthermore, the output determination unit 31 determines whether the second setting is set for the display device that is the second display device among the plurality of display devices 3 a to 3 e. If the second setting is set for the display device that is the second display device among the plurality of display devices 3 a to 3 e, the output processing unit 32 outputs the target image to the second display device to display it.
[0088] Furthermore, the output determination unit 31 determines whether or not the second operation has been performed. If the second operation has been performed, the output processing unit 32 outputs the target image to the third display device to display it.
[0089] Fig. 4 is a flowchart showing an example of a display control method by the display control device 10 in Fig. 1. Next, an example of a display control method by the display control device 10 in Fig. 1 will be described with reference to Fig. 4.
[0090] As shown in FIG. 4, the first operation detection unit 20 determines whether or not a first operation has been detected (step S1).
[0091] When the first operation detection unit 20 has not detected the first operation (No in step S1), the first operation detection unit 20 again determines whether or not the first operation has been detected (step S1).
[0092] When the first operation is detected (first operation detection step) (Yes in step S1), the consent selection receiving unit 27 determines whether to accept the first selection (step S2). As described above, when no one is sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device, the consent selection receiving unit 27 determines not to accept the first selection.
[0093] When the consent selection receiving unit 27 receives the first selection (Yes in step S2), the consent selection receiving unit 27 receives the first selection (first selection receiving step) (step S3).
[0094] If the control unit 30 does not accept the first selection (No in step S2), it determines whether or not to output the target image to the second display device for display (step S4). Furthermore, if the control unit 30 accepts the first selection (step S3), it determines whether or not to output the target image to the second display device for display (step S4). As described above, if consent to outputting the target image to the second display device for display is selected, the control unit 30 determines that the target image will be displayed on the second display device. On the other hand, if consent to outputting the target image to the second display device for display is selected, the control unit 30 determines that the target image will not be displayed on the second display device.
[0095] When the control unit 30 determines that the target image is to be output to the second display device and displayed thereon (Yes in step S4), the control unit 30 outputs the target image to the second display device and displays it thereon (control step) (step S5).
[0096] The control unit 30 determines whether or not to output the target image to the third display device for display (step S6). As described above, when the second operation is performed, the control unit 30 determines that the target image is to be output to the third display device for display.
[0097] When the control unit 30 determines that the target image is to be output to the third display device and displayed thereon (Yes in step S6), the control unit 30 outputs the target image to the third display device and displays it thereon (step S7).
[0098] When the control unit 30 determines that the target image should not be output to and displayed on the second display device (No in step S4), the control unit 30 ends the process without displaying the target image on the second display device.
[0099] Furthermore, if the control unit 30 determines that the target image should not be output to and displayed on the third display device (No in step S6), it ends the process without displaying the target image on the third display device.
[0100] After the first operation is detected (after step S1), the cancel selection receiving unit 28 receives a second selection. If the second selection selects canceling the output and display of the target image on the second display device, the processing from step S2 onward is canceled.
[0101] 5 to 12 are explanatory diagrams for explaining first to eighth operation examples of the display control device 10 in Fig. 1. Next, the first to eighth operation examples of the display control device 10 will be described with reference to Fig. 5 to Fig. 12.
[0102] First, a first operation example will be described with reference to Fig. 5. (a1) to (a5) in Fig. 5 show the first display device, and (b1) to (b5) in Fig. 5 show the second display device.
[0103] As shown in (a1) of Fig. 5, the first display device displays an image 40. As shown in (b1) of Fig. 5, the second display device displays an image 50.
[0104] 5(a2), by operating the first display device, icons of the plurality of display devices 3a to 3e are displayed on the first display device, and by tapping on any of the displayed icons of the plurality of display devices 3a to 3e, the second display device is selected and the first operation is performed. Here, icons of the plurality of display devices 3a to 3e are displayed, but the icon of the display device on which the first operation is performed does not have to be displayed.
[0105] As shown in (b3) of Figure 5, when the first operation is performed, the first selection is accepted by displaying on the second display device an option to decide whether or not to consent to outputting and displaying the target image, image 40, on the second display device.
[0106] As shown in (b4) of Figure 5, when "Accept," which indicates consent to outputting and displaying image 40 on the second display device, is tapped from the options of whether or not to consent to outputting and displaying image 40 on the second display device, image 40 is output and displayed on the second display device, as shown in (b5) of Figure 5.
[0107] Here, the image 40 is copied to the second display device. The image 40 may be mirrored on the second display device. In other words, the first operation is an operation for copying or mirroring the image 40 to the second display device. In the case of copying, the first display device and the second display device can each independently perform an operation using the image 40. In the case of mirroring, when an operation using the image 40 is performed on the first display device, an operation using the image 40 is also performed on the second display device in the same way.
[0108] Next, a second operation example will be described with reference to Fig. 6. (a1) to (a5) in Fig. 6 show the first display device, and (b1) to (b5) in Fig. 6 show the second display device.
[0109] The second operation example differs from the first operation example mainly in the following points.
[0110] 6(a5) and 6(b5), the image 40 has been moved to the second display device, and the image 40 is not being displayed on the first display device. In other words, the first operation is an operation for moving the image 40 to the second display device. After the image 40 has been moved to the second display device, another image may be displayed on the first display device.
[0111] Next, a third operation example will be described with reference to Fig. 7. (a1) to (a5) in Fig. 7 show the first display device, and (b1) to (b5) in Fig. 7 show the second display device.
[0112] The third operation example differs from the first operation example mainly in the following points.
[0113] As shown in (b4) of Fig. 7, in this case, among the options for whether to consent to outputting and displaying the image 40 on the second display device, "Reject" is tapped, which indicates that the image 40 is not to be output and displayed on the second display device. Therefore, as shown in (b5) of Fig. 7, the image 40 is not displayed on the second display device, and the image 50 remains displayed on the second display device.
[0114] Next, a fourth operation example will be described with reference to Fig. 8. (a1) to (a5) in Fig. 8 show the first display device, and (b1) to (b5) in Fig. 8 show the second display device.
[0115] The fourth operation example differs from the first operation example mainly in the following points.
[0116] As shown in (a3) of FIG. 8, here, a second selection as to whether or not to stop outputting and displaying the image 40 on the second display device is accepted.
[0117] As shown in (a4) of Fig. 8 , by tapping the message asking whether or not to stop outputting and displaying image 40 on the second display device, outputting and displaying image 40 on the second display device is stopped. Therefore, as shown in (b5) of Fig. 8 , image 40 is not displayed on the second display device, and image 50 remains displayed on the second display device.
[0118] In addition, the outputting and displaying of image 40 on the second display device may be stopped before consent to outputting and displaying image 40 on the second display device is selected, or the outputting and displaying of image 40 on the second display device may be stopped after consent to outputting and displaying image 40 on the second display device is selected.
[0119] Next, a fifth operation example will be described with reference to FIG.
[0120] As shown in FIG. 9, here, the display device 3a is the first display device, and the display device 3b is the second display device.
[0121] Since no one is sitting in the seat 2b corresponding to the display device 3b, the first selection is not accepted, and the image 60 displayed on the display device 3a is output to and displayed on the display device 3b.
[0122] Here, the first operation is an operation of outputting and displaying a part of the image 60 on the display device 3b, and the image 60 is displayed across the display devices 3a and 3b.
[0123] Next, a sixth operation example will be described with reference to FIG.
[0124] As shown in FIG. 10, here, the display device 3b is the first display device, and the display devices 3a and 3c are the second display devices.
[0125] Based on the driving state of the vehicle 1 by the person 100a sitting in the seat 2a corresponding to the display device 3a, it is determined that the first selection will not be accepted for the display device 3a, and the image 40 is not displayed on the display device 3a.
[0126] A person 100c is sitting in the seat 2c corresponding to the display device 3c, and the first selection is accepted for the display device 3c, and if it is agreed that the image 40 be output to the display device 3c and displayed, the image 40 is displayed on the display device 3c.
[0127] Next, a seventh operation example will be described with reference to FIG.
[0128] As shown in FIG. 11, here, the display device 3b is the first display device, the display device 3c is the second display device, and the display device 3d is the third display device.
[0129] An option of whether or not to output the image 40 to another display device (third display device) is displayed on the display device 3c, and a second operation for outputting and displaying the image 40 on the other display device is accepted using the display device 3c. Here, the display device 3d is set in advance as the other display device. Note that the other display device may be selected using the display device 3c. The second operation is performed by tapping "Yes," which indicates outputting the image 40, among the options of whether or not to output the image 40 to the other display device, and the image 40 is displayed on the display device 3d. Note that, in this case, since the display of the image 40 on the display device 3c was not approved in the first selection, the image 40 is not displayed on the display device 3c.
[0130] Next, an eighth operation example will be described with reference to FIG.
[0131] As shown in FIG. 12, here, the display device 3b is the first display device, the display device 3c is the second display device, and the display device 3d is the third display device.
[0132] A second operation is performed on display device 3c to output image 40 to display device 3d, and image 40 is displayed on display device 3d. Note that here, the second operation is an operation to output a part of image 40 to display device 3d, and image 40 is displayed across display devices 3c and 3d.
[0133] The display control device 10 of this embodiment includes a first operation detection unit 20 that detects a first operation to output and display a target image, which is an image displayed on a first display device among a plurality of display devices 3a to 3e each capable of displaying an image, to a second display device different from the first display device; an acceptance selection acceptance unit 27 that, when the first operation is detected, accepts, using the second display device, a first selection of whether or not to agree to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device; and a control unit 30 that, when it is selected to agree to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device, outputs the target image to the second display device and displays it.
[0134] According to this, when consent is selected to output and display an image displayed on the first display device on the second display device, the image can be displayed on the second display device. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the image from being unintentionally displayed on the second display device, and the image displayed on the first display device can be displayed on the second display device at a more appropriate timing.
[0135] In addition, in the display control device 10 according to this embodiment, if it is selected not to consent to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device, the control unit 30 will not display the target image on the second display device.
[0136] According to this, when a user selects not to consent to outputting and displaying an image displayed on the first display device on the second display device, the image can be prevented from being displayed on the second display device. Therefore, the image can be prevented from being unintentionally displayed on the second display device, and the image displayed on the first display device can be displayed on the second display device at a more appropriate timing.
[0137] In addition, the display control device 10 of this embodiment is equipped with a setting acceptance unit 21 that accepts a first setting that prevents the target image from being displayed on the second display device when a selection is not made as to whether or not to agree to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device even after a predetermined time has elapsed since the start of acceptance of the first selection, and the control unit 30 does not display the target image on the second display device if the first setting is made when a selection is not made as to whether or not to agree to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device even after a predetermined time has elapsed.
[0138] According to this, even if the user fails to select within a predetermined time not to consent to outputting and displaying the image displayed on the first display device on the second display device, the image can be prevented from being displayed on the second display device. Therefore, the image can be prevented from being unintentionally displayed on the second display device, and the image displayed on the first display device can be displayed on the second display device at a more appropriate timing.
[0139] In addition, the display control device 10 of this embodiment is equipped with a cancellation selection receiving unit 28 that, when a first operation is detected, receives a second selection using the first display device as to whether or not to cancel the output and display of the target image on the second display device, and when it is selected to cancel the output and display of the target image on the second display device, the control unit 30 cancels the output and display of the target image on the second display device.
[0140] According to this, even if the user does not select not to consent to outputting and displaying the image displayed on the first display device on the second display device, the user can select to stop outputting and displaying the image on the second display device, thereby preventing the image from being displayed on the second display device. Therefore, the image displayed on the first display device can be displayed on the second display device at a more appropriate timing, since the image can be prevented from being unintentionally displayed on the second display device.
[0141] Furthermore, in the display control device 10 according to this embodiment, the consent selection receiving unit 27 receives a first selection by displaying on the second display device an option as to whether or not to consent to the output and display of the target image on the second display device, or a thumbnail of the target image, and when one of the options that consents to the output and display of the target image on the second display device is selected, or when the thumbnail is tapped, the control unit 30 outputs the target image to the second display device and displays it.
[0142] This allows the user to easily select, by means of the options or thumbnails, whether or not to consent to outputting and displaying the image displayed on the first display device on the second display device.
[0143] Furthermore, in the display control device 10 according to this embodiment, the consent selection receiving unit 27 determines the position at which to display the options or thumbnails on the second display device based on the position of the first display device relative to the second display device, and displays the options or thumbnails at the determined position.
[0144] This allows the position of the first display device to be predicted based on the position of the option or thumbnail, making it easy to predict which of the multiple display devices 3a to 3e the displayed image will be output on.
[0145] In addition, in the display control device 10 of this embodiment, the multiple display devices 3a to 3e correspond to each of the multiple seats 2a to 2d in a vehicle 1 having multiple seats 2a to 2d, and have display devices 3a to 3d that are capable of displaying images so that they can be seen by people sitting in those seats, and are equipped with a presence / absence information acquisition unit 23 that acquires presence / absence information from a sensor group 4 that detects presence / absence information indicating whether or not a person is sitting in each of the multiple seats 2a to 2d, and a presence / absence determination unit 24 that determines whether or not a person is sitting in each of the multiple seats 2a to 2d based on the presence / absence information, and when the first operation is detected and there is no person sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device, the acceptance selection acceptance unit 27 does not accept the first selection, and when there is no person sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device, the control unit 30 outputs the target image to the second display device and displays it if there is no person sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device.
[0146] According to this, when no one is sitting in the seat corresponding to the second display device, the image displayed on the first display device can be easily output to the second display device and displayed without consent from the person to output the image to the second display device and display it thereon.
[0147] In addition, in the display control device 10 of this embodiment, the multiple display devices 3a to 3e correspond to each of the multiple seats 2a to 2d in the vehicle 1 having multiple seats 2a to 2d including the driver's seat 2a, and have the display devices 3a to 3d capable of displaying images so that they can be seen by the person sitting in the seats. The display device 10 is equipped with a driving information acquisition unit 25 that acquires driving information from a sensor group 4 that detects driving information that indicates the driving state of the vehicle 1 by the person sitting in the seat 2a, and a selection necessity determination unit 26 that decides whether to accept the first selection based on the driving information when the display device 3a corresponding to the seat 2a is the second display device. When the first operation is detected and it is determined not to accept the first selection, the acceptance selection acceptance unit 27 does not accept the first selection, and when it is determined not to accept the first selection, the control unit 30 does not display the target image on the second display device.
[0148] This makes it possible to prevent the image from being displayed on the second display device even in a situation where the person sitting in seat 2a cannot choose not to consent to the image displayed on the first display device being output to and displayed on the second display device. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the image from being unintentionally displayed on the second display device, and therefore the image displayed on the first display device can be displayed on the second display device at a more appropriate timing.
[0149] In addition, the display control device 10 of this embodiment is provided with a setting acceptance unit 21 that accepts a second setting that does not accept the first selection for each of the multiple display devices 3a to 3e when the display device is the second display device, and the acceptance selection acceptance unit 27 does not accept the first selection when the first operation is detected and the second setting has been set for the display device that is the second display device among the multiple display devices 3a to 3e, and the control unit 30 outputs the target image to the second display device to display it when the second setting has been set for the display device that is the second display device among the multiple display devices 3a to 3e.
[0150] According to this, if the second display device is a display device that is set not to accept the choice of whether or not to consent to outputting and displaying an image displayed on the first display device on the second display device, the image can be easily output to and displayed on the second display device without consenting to outputting and displaying the image on the second display device.
[0151] In addition, the display control device 10 of this embodiment is equipped with a second operation receiving unit 29 that, when a first operation is detected, receives a second operation using the second display device to output and display the target image on a third display device different from the first display device and the second display device among the multiple display devices 3a to 3e, and when the second operation is performed, the control unit 30 outputs the target image to the third display device and displays it.
[0152] This allows the image displayed on the first display device to be output to and displayed on the third display device.
[0153] In addition, the display control method according to this embodiment includes a first operation detection step (step S1) of detecting a first operation for outputting and displaying a target image, which is an image displayed on a first display device among a plurality of display devices 3a to 3e each capable of displaying an image, to a second display device different from the first display device; a first selection acceptance step (step S3) of accepting, using the second display device, a first selection of whether or not to agree to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device when the first operation is detected; and a control step (step S5) of outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device when it is selected to agree to outputting and displaying the target image on the second display device.
[0154] This provides the same effects as the display control device 10 described above.
[0155] Moreover, the program according to the present embodiment is a program for causing a computer to execute the above-described display control method.
[0156] This provides the same effects as the display control device 10 described above.
[0157] (Other Embodiments, etc.) While the display control device and the like according to one or more aspects have been described above based on the embodiments, the present disclosure is not limited to these embodiments. [0158] In the above-described embodiment, the case where the plurality of display devices 3a to 3e include display devices 3a to 3d arranged in the vehicle 1 has been described, but this is not limiting. For example, the plurality of display devices may not include a display device arranged in the vehicle 1, and each of the plurality of display devices may be a display device in a mobile terminal or the like.
[0159] Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, a case where a third display device is included has been described, but this is not limiting. For example, the multiple display devices may be two display devices, and the third display device may not be included. FIG. 13 is a flowchart showing another example of a display control method performed by the display control device 10 of FIG. 1. As shown in FIG. 13, for example, if there is no third display device, the display control device 10 may not perform steps S6 and S7 of steps S1 to S7 described above. Note that the display control device 10 may determine whether to perform steps S6 and S7 based on the arrangement of the multiple display devices and / or the seating status of the multiple seats. If it determines to perform steps S6 and S7, it may perform the display control method shown in FIG. 4, and if it determines not to perform steps S6 and S7, it may perform the display control method shown in FIG. 13.
[0160] In the above-described embodiments, each component may be configured with dedicated hardware, or may be realized by executing a software program suitable for each component.
