Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION OF
[0002] DEVICE FOR SOUND SIGNALING OF UNLOCKED FIREARMS
[0003] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0004] The patent relates to a device for sound signaling of unlocked firearms and it is in the field of weapon technology. In particular, it is used in all systems of hunting and other firearms, where there is need to receive a distinct and clear signal notifying the firearm unlocking, as well as announcing through panic button suddenly unfavorable circumstances for the hunter.
[0005] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0006] A method and device for preventing unregulated shots of handguns are known. The device includes an electrical and, in particular, magnetic or electromagnetic locking system, which performs the role of a shutter. The device includes magnetic elements - receiver and transmitter, or elements for creating electromagnetic field - receiver and transmitter, which are used by their attraction to create a contact through which an electric current provided by a battery can flow. The magnetic switches have two operating positions - first and second operating positions - unlocked and locked, respectively.
[0007] In the first operating position, the magnet prevents normal operation of the firing system by attracting the first end of the magnet to the first element, in order to maintain the controlling element in the first operating position - locked.
[0008] In the second operating position, the magnet allows normal operation of the shot system and the other end of the magnet is attracted to the second element, in order to maintain the controlling element in the operating position when the said controlling element is in the second operating position. The system is powered by a battery and has a sound signaling element - a buzzer or a speaker. This fuse also includes means adjacent the controlling element for creating electromagnetic field that interacts with at least one magnetic field from the magnet, in order to move the magnet from the first to the second operating position. US 5619817.
[0009] A disadvantage of the known magnetic device is that it serves only as a safety- bolt.
[0010] The task of the invention is to create a sound signaling device for unlocked firearms, which, using magnetic field, will give sound signal when the weapon is unlocked and ready to fire, especially in hunting firearms. When hunting, the hunting dogs are engaged in searching for tracks and are so focused that they sometimes lose contact with the hunter. If the hunter shoots unmarked game (marked game is one that is shot, as a result of the hunting dog's actions), the hunting dog in many cases does not see where the game falls and wastes time until finds it (if the dog finds it at all). Thus, shot animals are lost, which become food for predators. The sound signal when the safety-bolt of the weapon is released will attract the hunting dog's attention and the dog will be aware before, during and after the shot, where the shot animal has fallen, so the dog will bring it successfully and in time.
[0011] It sometimes happens that the hunter hunts with an unlocked rifle (which, as a rule, is highly unacceptable). Thus, an accidental shot can easily be produced due to an obstructed branch, bush or anything that can affect the trigger. The unlocking of the weapon will be signaled by the sound signal, to warn of retaliatory actions.
[0012] Some hunting accidents are result of handling an unlocked firearm at the time of a non-targeted shot. The sound signal is the means to remind the status and readiness of the weapon. Another task of the invention is to create SOS signaling device for the hunting weapon, which is a suitable means for easy and reliable signaling in case of possible trouble or need for assistance of random nature, for the hunter using the weapon. By activating the panic button, it is possible for the hunter to activate a GPS tracker, signaling and locating his exact location when he is in need, and at the same time it is possible to send an ultrasonic signal with the tracker, aiming at chasing away wolves, stray dogs, and any other predator game species that could endanger a hunter in trouble or his dogs.
[0013] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0014] The task of the invention is solved by a device for sound signaling of unlocked firearms, and, in particular hunting weapons equipped with a mechanical fuse, regardless of the number and location of the barrels, the spatial location of the fuse, the number of triggers, and also regardless of the weapon type - smoothbore, semi-automatic or rifled. The device consists of three electrical circuits that are powered by a battery. In the first and second electrical circuits, a sound emitter with two or more different frequency bands of the emitted sound is included - respectively in the low and / or medium and / or high range, which is connected to the battery. In the first electrical circuit, a working switch and a potentiometer switch are connected in series to the battery. The operating switch in the first electrical circuit is connected in series to the battery and to the sound emitter, via a cable. The device also includes a permanent magnet as a permanent emitter of magnetic waves. The magnet is mounted with a rigid connection to the safety-bolt lever of the hunting weapon.
[0015] In the second electric circuit in series to the battery and the sound emitter, an SOS button is also included, which is a holding button with a normally open contact. In parallel, a GPS tracker is included in the circuit of the second circuit, as well as an ultra-sound emitter that emits at a frequency above 22 KHz. The third electrical circuit is a separate parallel connection of the GPS tracker in external electrical circuit, equipped with a separate start and stop button, which is a holding button with normally open contact.
[0016] The completed wiring diagram, as described above, is housed in a box that is fixedly attached to the weapon butt, as the cable and magnet remain outside the box, also mounted on the weapon housing.
[0017] A buzzer or speaker, or other electrically powered sound-producing device capable of one and more than one tonally distinguishable emission, in different frequency ranges, with a view to distinguishing the individual transmitted signals, may be used for a sound emitter.
[0018] The working switch can be either a simple switch with a normally open contact, or a switch with a magnetic effect on the tips of the contacts, such as a reed ampoule (reed contact).
[0019] The advantage of the sound signaling device of unlocked firearms is in the opportunity to receive a sound signal when the firearm is unlocked, when taking a position - ready to fire. This signal will alert any hunting dog and will direct his attention to the direction of the shot. In addition, the device has an easy-to-access SOS signal emitted in a different tone (different from the signal when the weapon is unlocked and ready to fire), which signal can be given in emergency mode, in case of emergency terrain.
[0020] Another advantage is provided by the GPS tracker, which accurately locates a hunter in trouble, if the bearer of the weapon has fallen into sudden trouble at a distance. In this case, the device can also emit ultrasonic waves, chasing away predatory mammals - wolves, jackals, dogs, etc. The GPS tracker can be activated independently, using a separate button. [0023] EXAMPLES OF EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0024] A specific exemplary performance of a device for sound signaling of unlocked firearms is shown in fig. 1
[0025] Complete with a permanent magnet as a magnetic field emitter, the device consists of three electric circuits, where a sound emitter 1 is included, connected in series with a battery 2. In the first electric circuit, a working switch 3 is also connected in series with the battery 2, which key is a reed ampoule, a potentiometer key 6. The working key 3 in the first electric circuit is connected in series to the battery 2 and the sound emitter 1, through a cable 4. The device also includes magnet 5, glued to lever 9 of the safety-bolt of the hunting weapon.
[0026] In the second electrical circuit, in series to the battery 2 and to the sound emitter 1, SOS button 8 is included, which is a holding button with normally open contact, and in parallel, an ultra-sound emitter 10 is included in the second circuit, which is in the frequency range above 22 KHz . Also, in parallel with the second electric circuit, the GPS tracker 7, equipped with an independent button 11, for individual switching on or off, separated into a third electric circuit, also powered by a battery 2, is brought out. The executed electric diagram, as described above, is placed in box 12, with the cable 4 and magnet 5 remain outside the box, attached to the housing of the weapon they serve.
[0027] The device operating in compliance with the invention consists in the following: When the weapon is unlocked in readiness for firing, the magnet 5, which is glued to the lever 9 of the safety-bolt, approaches the ridge ampoule of the key 3 and under the influence of the magnetic field the circuit closes and a sound emitter 1 emits a sound. The strength of this sound can be adjusted using potentiometer 6, or it can be stopped completely.
[0028] In case of need for SOS signal, through the SOS button 8, a signal is sent in a different tone, for example a siren, to identify and indicate the location of the hunter in need of help. Simultaneously, the GPS tracker 7 broadcasts a warning signal to the software platform, as well as locates the victim. At the same time ultrasound is also emitted, through ultra-sound emitter 10, which aims to chase away wolves and jackals, or stray dogs capable of attacking the hunter injured in a hunting accident.
[0029] If necessary, the GPS tracker 7 can be turned on independently, without the action of other elements of the device, which is activated via button 11.
[0030] APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION
[0031] The invention is applicable to all firearms equipped with a mechanical safety-bolt, and, in particular, in hunting weapons, regardless of the number and location of barrels, the spatial location of the safety-bolt, the number of triggers, and also regardless of the type of weapon - smoothbore, semi-automatic or rifled.
