[0051] FIG. 1 is a drawing showing the appearance of a toilet training device for a pet flush toilet according to the present invention;

[0052] Figure 2 is a drawing showing the structure of a toilet training device for a pet flush toilet according to the present invention;

[0053] FIGS. 3 to 8 are flowcharts showing the operation of the control unit of the present invention;

[0054] Figure 9 is a diagram showing the state of use of the present invention;

[0055] FIGS. 10 to 14 are drawings showing the structure of a snack discharging mechanism according to one embodiment of the present invention;

[0056] Figures 15 and 16 are drawings showing the operation of a snack discharging mechanism according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0057] Now, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0058] Figure 1 shows a toilet training device (1000) of a pet flush toilet according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0059] As shown, the toilet training device (1000) of the flush toilet of the pet is installed on the upper part of the flush toilet (100), has a monitor (31) and a camera (33), and also has a speaker (41) and a microphone (43).

[0060] The toilet training device (1000) of the above pet flush toilet has a discharge port (70) through which the pet's snack (feed) is discharged.

[0061] A flush toilet (100) has a flush switch (90), and when this switch is operated after urinating or defecating, water flows down, and the waste flows out together with the flushed water.

[0062] Meanwhile, in the present embodiment, the toilet training device (1000) of the flush toilet for the pet has a general training mode switch (61), a urine training mode switch (62), and a fecal training mode switch (63). When any one of the training mode switches (61), (62), and (63) is turned on, as described below, when the pet defecates in the flush toilet (100) or operates the flush switch (90) after defecation, a snack dispensing operation is performed so that a general snack or a preferred snack, which is a preferred snack, is given as a reward according to the type of defecation according to the type of training mode.

[0063] In the present invention, a snack refers to pet food, and a preferred snack refers to a snack (food) that a pet likes more than a regular snack.

[0064] For example, preferred treats are food that pets like dogs and cats prefer because they contain a high content of fish or meat, which they can sense through their sense of smell. The concepts of regular treats and preferred treats are relative, and are intended to exploit a pet's greed for something they prefer during training.

[0065] When all of these switches (61), (62), and (63) are turned off, the toilet training of the pet will not work as a normal flush toilet.

[0066] FIG. 2 is a drawing showing the structure of a toilet training device (1000) for a pet flush toilet according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0067] As shown, a control unit (800) is provided, and the control unit (800) is connected to a video unit (300), an audio unit (400), and a communication unit (500).

[0068] The video unit (300) is connected to a monitor (31) and a camera (33), the audio unit (400) is connected to a speaker (41) and a microphone (43), and the communication unit (500) communicates with an external terminal.

[0069] The video unit (300) and audio unit (400) process video data and audio data received from an external terminal communicating through the communication unit (500), respectively, to generate video and audio and output them to the monitor (41) and speaker (41), and also process video data captured by the camera (33) and audio data received by the microphone (43) and transmit them to the external terminal through the communication unit (500).

[0070] Accordingly, under the control of the control unit (800), the user of the external terminal can show his / her appearance to the pet through the monitor (31), and also can view the appearance of the pet through the camera (33) through his / her terminal.

[0071] Additionally, under the control of the control unit (800), the user of the external terminal can speak to the pet through the speaker (41) and hear the sounds or words made by the pet through the microphone (43).

[0072] Meanwhile, the toilet training device (1000) of the above-mentioned pet flush toilet has a snack container (11)(12), and the snacks in the snack container (11)(12) are discharged through the discharge port (70) according to the operation of the snack discharge mechanism (600).

[0073] The snack discharge mechanism (600) may be configured to include, for example, opening / closing valves installed in discharge pipes connecting each snack container (11)(12) and the discharge port (70) and a motor mechanism for opening and closing these opening / closing valves.

[0074] Korean Patent Nos. 10-1321953, 10-1348964, 10-1727279, 10-1772992, 10-1697956, and 10-1348964 are various examples of devices that discharge snacks, etc. through a discharge port.

[0075] Meanwhile, the present invention provides a snack discharging device (600) that efficiently discharges snacks with a simple structure, which will be described later.

[0076] In an embodiment of the present invention, these snack containers (11)(12) store one snack preferred by the pet and the other snack which is less preferred by the pet.

[0077] Under the control of the control unit (800), the snack discharge mechanism (600) operates so that general snacks from among the snack containers (11)(12) are discharged through the discharge port (70), or preferred snacks are discharged through the discharge port (70).

[0078] The above control unit (800) is also connected to a drop detection sensor (20) installed in a flush toilet (100), so that when urine or feces are excreted, it can detect the dropping of feces inside the toilet and determine whether the excrement is urine or feces.

[0079] The fall detection sensor (20) has a light emitting portion (21) and a light receiving portion (23), and when feces pass between them, the transmittance of light changes, thereby detecting feces. Since feces and urine have different transmittances, the control portion (800) can detect whether the feces are feces or urine based on the transmittance.

[0080] Furthermore, the control unit (800) is connected to a water flush switch operation detection sensor (98) that detects whether the water flush switch (90) is operating, so that the operation of the water flush switch (90) can be detected.

[0081] The above-mentioned water flush switch operation detection sensor (98) may be, for example, a contact sensor that detects whether the water flush switch (90) is in operation by making contact according to the operation of the water flush switch (90), or a proximity sensor that detects whether the water flush switch (90) is in operation by reading the change in position of the water flush switch (90), or various other sensors.

[0082] Figures 3 to 8 are flowcharts showing the operations performed by the control unit (800) for toilet training of a pet using a flush toilet, respectively.

[0083] Figures 3 and 4 are flowcharts showing the operations performed by the control unit (800) in the general training mode. That is, the operations performed when the general training mode switch (61) is turned ON are shown.

[0084] Referring to Fig. 3, the control unit (800) determines whether the general training mode switch (61) is turned on and the system is in general training mode. (Step S301)

[0085] Next, in the case of general training mode, it is determined whether defecation has occurred in the flush toilet (100). (Step S302)

[0086] That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

[0087] Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snacks in the snack container (11)(12) containing general snacks are discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S303)

[0088] Figure 4 shows the operation of a control unit (800) that discharges a treat as a reward when a pet operates the flush switch (90) in addition to defecating in a flush toilet.

[0089] First, the control unit (800) determines whether the general training mode switch (61) is turned on and the system is in general training mode. (Step S401)

[0090] Next, in the case of general training mode, it is determined whether defecation has occurred in the flush toilet (100). (Step S402)

[0091] That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

[0092] Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it determines whether the flush switch (90) is operating through the flush switch operation detection sensor (98). (Step S403)

[0093] If the operation of the water discharge switch (90) is detected, the control unit (800) controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snacks in the snack container (11)(12) in which regular snacks are stored are discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S404)

[0094] Figures 5 and 6 are flowcharts showing the operations performed by the control unit (800) in the urine training mode. That is, the operations performed when the urine training mode switch (62) is turned ON are shown.

[0095] Referring to Fig. 5, first, the control unit (800) determines whether the urine training mode switch (62) is turned on and is in urine training mode. (Step S501)

[0096] Next, in the case of urine training mode, it is determined whether defecation has occurred in the flush toilet (100). (Step S502)

[0097] That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

[0098] Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it determines whether the defecation is urine. (Step S503) That is, the control unit (800) detects the transmittance of light passing through the light-emitting unit (21) and the light-receiving unit (23) of the drop detection sensor (20) as the defecation passes, and with this value, it detects whether the defecation is feces or urine.

[0099] If it is determined to be urine, the snack discharge mechanism (600) is controlled so that the snack in the snack container (11)(12) in which the preferred snack is stored is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S504)

[0100] If it is determined to be feces rather than urine, the snack discharge device (600) is controlled so that the snacks in the snack container (11)(12) containing regular snacks are discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S505)

[0101] Figure 6 shows the operation of a control unit (800) that discharges a treat as a reward when a pet defecates in a flush toilet and also operates the flush switch (90) after defecation.

[0102] First, the control unit (800) determines whether the urine training mode switch (62) is turned on and is in urine training mode. (Step S601)

[0103] Next, in the case of urination training mode, it is determined whether defecation has occurred in the flush toilet (100). (Step S602)

[0104] That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

[0105] Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it determines whether the defecation is urine. (Step S603) That is, the control unit (800) detects the transmittance of light passing through the light-emitting unit (21) and the light-receiving unit (23) of the drop detection sensor (20) as the defecation passes, and with this value, it detects whether the defecation is feces or urine.

[0106] Next, the control unit (800) determines whether the flush switch (90) is operating through the flush switch operation detection sensor (98) when the defecation is determined to be urine. (Step S604)

[0107] If the operation of the water discharge switch (90) is detected, the control unit (800) controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snack in the snack container in which the preferred snack is stored among the snack containers (11)(12) is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S605)

[0108] If it is determined to be feces rather than urine, it is determined whether the flush switch (90) is operating through the flush switch operation detection sensor (98). (Step S606)

[0109] If the operation of the water discharge switch (90) is detected, the control unit (800) controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snacks in the snack container (11)(12) in which regular snacks are stored are discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S607)

[0110] In this way, according to the present invention, in the urine training mode, when urine is not urinated well in a flush toilet (100) and urine training is needed, a preferred snack is discharged when urinating to create an incentive to urinate in the flush toilet (100).

[0111] Accordingly, when urinating, the person can eat more delicious snacks, so he or she becomes more interested in urinating in the flush toilet (100), and naturally becomes able to urinate well in the flush toilet (100).

[0112] Figures 7 and 8 are flowcharts showing the operations performed by the control unit (800) in the bowel training mode. That is, the operations performed when the bowel training mode switch (63) is turned ON are shown.

[0113] Referring to Fig. 7, first, the control unit (800) determines whether the stool training mode switch (63) is turned on and is in stool training mode. (Step S701)

[0114] Next, in the case of the toilet training mode, it is determined whether or not a toilet has been defecated in the flush toilet (100). (Step S702)

[0115] That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

[0116] Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it determines whether the defecation is urine. (Step S703) That is, the control unit (800) detects the transmittance of light passing through the light-emitting unit (21) and the light-receiving unit (23) of the drop detection sensor (20) as the defecation passes, and with this value, it detects whether the defecation is feces or urine.

[0117] If it is determined to be urine, the snack discharge device (600) is controlled so that the snack in the snack container (11)(12) in which regular snacks are stored is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S704)

[0118] If it is determined to be feces rather than urine, the snack discharge mechanism (600) is controlled so that the snack in the snack container (11)(12) in which the preferred snack is stored is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S705)

[0119] Figure 8 shows the operation of a control unit (800) that discharges a treat as a reward when a pet defecates in a flush toilet and also operates the flush switch (90) after defecation.

[0120] First, the control unit (800) determines whether the stool training mode switch (62) is turned on and is in stool training mode. (Step S801)

[0121] Next, in the case of the toilet training mode, it is determined whether or not a toilet has been defecated in the flush toilet (100). (Step S802)

[0122] That is, the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation when a falling object is detected based on the value detected by the fall detection sensor (20).

[0123] Next, if the control unit (800) determines that there is defecation, it determines whether the defecation is urine. (Step S803) That is, the control unit (800) detects the transmittance of light passing through the light-emitting unit (21) and the light-receiving unit (23) of the drop detection sensor (20) as the defecation passes, and with this value, it detects whether the defecation is feces or urine.

[0124] Next, the control unit (800) determines whether the flush switch (90) is operating through the flush switch operation detection sensor (98) when the defecation is determined to be urine. (Step S804)

[0125] If the operation of the water discharge switch (90) is detected, the control unit (800) controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snacks in the snack container (11)(12) in which regular snacks are stored are discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S805)

[0126] If it is determined to be feces rather than urine, it is determined whether the flush switch (90) is operating through the flush switch operation detection sensor (98). (Step S806)

[0127] If the operation of the water discharge switch (90) is detected, the control unit (800) controls the snack discharge mechanism (600) so that the snack in the snack container in which the preferred snack is stored among the snack containers (11)(12) is discharged through the discharge port (70). (Step S807)

[0128] Thus, according to the present invention, in the case where defecation is not easy in a flush toilet (100) and defecation training is needed, an incentive to defecate in the flush toilet (100) is created by discharging a preferred snack when defecating. Accordingly, when defecating, the defecator can eat a more delicious snack, and thus becomes more interested in defecating in the flush toilet (100), and naturally, the defecator can defecate well in the flush toilet (100).

[0129] Figure 9 shows a pet talking to its owner outside while looking at each other through a monitor (31), camera (33), speaker (41), and microphone (43) according to the present invention.

[0130] Figures 10 to 14 show the structure of a snack discharge mechanism (600) according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0131] First, in relation to the above snack dispensing device (600), a snack container is provided, including a general snack container (11) for storing general snacks and a preferred snack container (12) for storing preferred snacks, depending on the pet's preference.

[0132] Each of these general snack containers (11) and preferred snack containers (12) is provided with a snack discharge mechanism (601)(602), so that each constitutes a general snack discharge mechanism (601) and a preferred snack discharge mechanism (602).

[0133] These general snack discharge mechanisms (601) and preferred snack discharge mechanisms (602) have the same structure. Below, the structure of the preferred snack discharge mechanism (602) will be described.

[0134] First, the preferred snack discharging mechanism (602) has a first member (6021) having an open portion (1228) with an open bottom.

[0135] In this embodiment, the first member (6021) has a plate shape, and an intermediate body (122) communicating with the preferred snack container (12) is installed on the upper surface thereof.

[0136] The internal space (S1) of the above preferred snack container (12) and the internal space (S2) of the intermediate container (122) are connected.

[0137] Likewise, the general snack container (11) is connected to the intermediate container (111).

[0138] These general snack containers (11) and preferred snack containers (12) have lids and store snacks in their internal space (S1).

[0139] A rotating plate (6028) is provided at the lower part of the first member (6021) in the form of the above plate.

[0140] This covers the opening (1228) on the lower surface of the first member (6021), and a drop opening (60288) is formed on one side thereof.

[0141] As described below, the diameter of the drop opening (60288) is such that the snack (88) is settled in the drop opening (60288), and then a portion thereof protrudes upward. (See FIGS. 15 and 16)

[0142] For example, if the diameter of the snack is 1.5 cm, the diameter of the drop opening (60288) can be equal to or greater than 1.499 cm and can have a diameter equal to or less than 1.5 cm.

[0143] In the present embodiment, a second member (6022) in the form of a plate is provided at the lower portion of the above-mentioned rotating plate (6028).

[0144] The above second member (6022) has a communication opening (60228) formed on one side, which is connected to the discharge port (70) through which the aforementioned snack is discharged. As shown, a communication body (6027) is connected to the lower part of the communication opening (60228) and is connected to the discharge port (70) through this.

[0145] A motor (M) is mounted under the second member (6022), and the motor (M) rotates the turntable (6028) under the control of the control unit (800).

[0146] A pushing means (6070) is installed on the upper surface of the above-mentioned rotating plate (6028).

[0147] This is to push the snack stacked on the upper part of the rotating plate (6028) in the direction of rotation according to the rotation of the rotating plate (6028) through the intermediate body (122) that is connected to the preferred snack container (12).

[0148] The above-mentioned pushing means (6070) has a vertical extension member (60281) installed on the rotating plate (6028) and also has a transverse member (60283) (60285) installed transversely to the vertical extension member (60281).

[0149] The above transverse members (60283)(60285) push out the snacks according to the rotation of the turntable (6028). These transverse members (60283)(60285) can move in the transverse direction with respect to the vertical extension member (60281), and are preferably formed of elastic means.

[0150] That is, these transverse members (60283)(60285) are loosely fitted to the vertical extension members (60281) and are pushed laterally by the reaction force when they come into contact with the snacks and push them out.

[0151] Additionally, it is preferable that these transverse members (60283)(60285) be made of elastic means such as a spring.

[0152] Accordingly, when the turntable (6028) rotates with the power of the motor (M) under the control of the control unit (800), the transverse members (60283) (60285) push the snacks while minimizing the reaction force. (See FIGS. 15 and 16)

[0153] According to a snack discharging mechanism (602) according to one embodiment of the present invention, a lower pressing means (1226) is installed corresponding to the position of the communication opening (60228) of the second member (6022) on the upper portion of the rotating plate (6028).

[0154] In this embodiment, the lower pressing means (1226) is formed and installed in a form that protrudes from the inner edge of the opening (1228) of the first member (6021) toward the opening (1228).

[0155] This is so that when a snack (88) that is partially protruded and settled in the drop opening (60288) of the above-mentioned turntable (6028) approaches and makes contact with the rotating turntable (6028), the upper portion of the snack (88) is pressed and pushed to the lower portion of the drop opening (60288). The snack pushed in this way falls to the connecting body (6027) and arrives at the snack tray (80) through the connected discharge port (70).

[0156] The operation of this snack discharge mechanism (602) is explained with reference to FIGS. 15 and 16.

[0157] The snacks supplied to the space (S2) of the intermediate body (122) are first stacked on the upper surface of the rotating plate (6028) provided at the lower portion of the first member (6021), and as the pushing means (6070) rotates and pushes them, one of the snacks enters and settles in the dropping opening (60288) formed on one side.

[0158] At this time, as described above, the snack (88) is settled in a form in which a portion thereof protrudes upward. This state is shown in Fig. 15.

[0159] In this state, as the turntable (6028) rotates, the snack (88) comes into contact with the lower pressing means (1226).

[0160] The snack (88) is in the shape of a circle, and as the turntable (6028) rotates, the snack (88) continuously comes into contact with the lower pushing means (1226), and as a result, it enters the bottom of the lower pushing means (1226) along the circumference of the circle and receives a downward pushing force.

[0161] Accordingly, it goes under the lower pressing means (1226) and falls into the communication opening (6027) of the second member (6022) whose position corresponds to the lower pressing means (1226) and falls into the communication body (6027) installed therein.

[0162] Afterwards, it rolls to the snack stand (80) through the outlet (70) connected thereto.

[0163] According to the snack discharge mechanism (602) described above, one snack (88) is discharged according to the rotation of the turntable (6028), and if the control unit (800) is set to cause the turntable (6028) to rotate multiple times, multiple snacks will be discharged continuously.

[0164] In this way, the present invention stimulates the pet's desire for snacks, thereby training the pet to voluntarily defecate in the flush toilet and subsequently operate the flush switch.

[0165] In addition, the present invention provides a preferred snack for the part that is relatively difficult to urinate or defecate, so that training is naturally carried out on the part that is difficult to see.

[0166] It also allows pets and their owners with external terminals to see each other and converse.

[0167] Furthermore, the present invention provides a snack discharging mechanism that can control the discharge of snacks by only controlling the rotation speed of a motor with a very simple structure.
