However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments disclosed below and can be implemented in various forms.

[0038] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings. When describing with reference to the drawings, identical or corresponding components are given the same reference numerals and redundant descriptions thereof will be omitted.

[0039] In the following examples, when various components such as layers, films, regions, and plates are said to be "on" other components, this includes not only cases where they are "directly on" other components, but also cases where other components are interposed between them. Furthermore, for convenience of explanation, the sizes of components in the drawings may be exaggerated or reduced. For example, the sizes and thicknesses of each component shown in the drawings are arbitrarily indicated for convenience of explanation, and therefore, the present invention is not necessarily limited to what is shown.

[0040] In the following examples, the x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis are not limited to three axes on an orthogonal coordinate system, and can be interpreted in a broad sense that includes them. For example, the x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis may be orthogonal to each other, but may also refer to different directions that are not orthogonal to each other.

[0041] In the examples below, the terms first, second, etc. are not used in a limiting sense, but are used for the purpose of distinguishing one component from another.

[0042] In the following examples, terms such as “include” or “have” mean that a feature or component described in the specification is present, and do not preclude the possibility that one or more other features or components may be added.

[0043] In this specification, “A and / or B” refers to the case where it is A, or B, or both A and B. And, “at least one of A and B” refers to the case where it is A, or B, or both A and B.

[0044] In the following examples, when it is said that a film, region or component is connected, it includes not only cases where the films, regions or components are directly connected, but also cases where other films, regions or components are interposed between the films, regions or components and are indirectly connected.

[0045] Fig. 1 is a schematic side view schematically illustrating an exemplary dental state requiring orthodontic treatment. In Fig. 1, a tooth (1, a first molar) and the teeth on either side thereof (second premolars and second molars) in the position row are illustrated as requiring orthodontic treatment, and a tooth (2, a first molar) in the lower dental row and the teeth on either side thereof (second premolars and second molars) are illustrated as requiring orthodontic treatment. Figs. 2 to 4 are schematic diagrams schematically illustrating a process for manufacturing an orthodontic device according to an embodiment of the present invention in relation to the exemplary dental state illustrated in Fig. 1.

[0046] First, as illustrated in FIG. 2, positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) having a protruding shape are positioned on the surfaces of a plurality of teeth to be corrected. The positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) can be directly formed on the surfaces of the plurality of teeth to be corrected using resin. For example, the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) can be formed on the surfaces of the plurality of teeth to be corrected using a paste-type resin sold under the trade name GoTo. Alternatively, positioners prepared in advance in a shape similar to a rectangular parallelepiped can be bonded to the surfaces of the plurality of teeth to be corrected using an adhesive material or the like, or a portion of each positioner can be fluidized (by heating or the like) and attached to the surfaces of the plurality of teeth to be corrected. For bonding materials, adhesives sold under the trade name Transbond by companies such as 3M can be used.

[0047] Positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) can be positioned so that one positioner is positioned on each tooth. As illustrated in Fig. 2, positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) can be formed on the surfaces of teeth whose positions are to be adjusted as well as on the surfaces of teeth that are not the target of position adjustment.

[0048] The positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) do not need to have the same shape. Preferably, at least some of the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) may have different shapes. By making the shape of the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) different, a corrective device formed later can be coupled only to a corresponding specific positioner. This will be described later.

[0049] After positioning the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) on the surfaces of a plurality of teeth to be corrected, scanning data, which is data on the positions and shapes of the plurality of teeth to be corrected on which the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) are placed, is acquired. That is, scanning data on the positions and shapes of teeth in the oral cavity in a state as illustrated in FIG. 2 is acquired. Subsequently, modeling data is acquired based on the acquired scanning data. The modeling data is data on the positions and shapes of teeth in an expected state in which correction has been completed, as illustrated in FIG. 3. That is, a virtual state in which correction has been completed for a plurality of teeth to be corrected, as illustrated in FIG. 2, is in a state as illustrated in FIG. 3, and the modeling data is data on the positions and shapes of teeth in such a state as illustrated in FIG. 3.

[0050] In Fig. 3, compared to Fig. 2, the positions of a tooth (1, first molar) and the teeth on either side of it (second premolar and second molar) in the positional row are exemplarily changed, and the positions of a tooth (2, first molar) and the teeth on either side of it (second premolar and second molar) in the lower dentition are changed. Specifically, in the positional row, the tooth (1, first molar) is rotated counterclockwise and its position is changed upward, the tooth (second premolar) on the left side of the tooth (1) is rotated clockwise, and the tooth (second molar) on the right side of the tooth (1) is changed its position downward. In the lower dentition, the tooth (2, first molar) is rotated counterclockwise and its position changes upward, the tooth (second premolar) on the left side of the tooth (2) is rotated clockwise, and the tooth (second molar) on the right side of the tooth (2) is rotated clockwise and its position changes downward.

[0051] For reference, the position and shape of the teeth when acquiring scanning data or modeling data may mean the position and shape of the teeth including the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) when the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) are placed. In other words, the shape of the teeth when acquiring scanning data or modeling data may be understood as a shape including not only the teeth themselves but also the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...).

[0052] Of course, as illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, for at least some of the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...), the positions at which scanning data is acquired may be different from the positions at which modeling data is acquired. In FIGS. 2 and 3, among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...), the positions at which scanning data is acquired for the positioners (31, 32, 33, 41, 42, 43) are illustrated as being different from the positions at which modeling data is acquired.

[0053] After acquiring modeling data, orthodontic device data, which is data on the shapes of (virtual) orthodontic devices that can be attached to the surfaces of teeth in an expected state after correction is completed, is acquired based on the acquired modeling data. Fig. 4 illustrates an expected state in which (virtual) orthodontic devices (51, 52, 53, ..., 61, 62, 63, ...) are attached to the surfaces of teeth in an expected state after correction is completed. That is, (virtual) orthodontic devices (51, 52, 53, ..., 61, 62, 63, ...) having shapes as illustrated in Fig. 4 can be said to be orthodontic devices to be manufactured according to the final orthodontic device data.

[0054] Through this process, an orthodontic device that can be applied to specific teeth to be corrected can be manufactured. That is, using the orthodontic device data acquired through the process described above, an orthodontic device that can be applied to specific teeth to be corrected can be manufactured. For example, based on the acquired orthodontic device data, orthodontic devices (51, 52, 53, ..., 61, 62, 63, ...) to be attached to the surfaces of a plurality of teeth to be corrected can be formed using a 3D printing method. Of course, other methods than 3D printing, such as a ceramic pressing method, a milling method, a casting method after wax printing, or a forming method using molding, can also be used.

[0055] Figures 5 and 6 are perspective views schematically illustrating an orthodontic device (52) that can be attached to a tooth (1, first molar) of a position row manufactured through the above process.

[0056] As illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6, the orthodontic device (52) may have a slot (52S) and a contact portion. In FIGS. 5 and 6, the contact portion is illustrated as having a groove (52IO). The slot (52S) is a place where an orthodontic wire can be inserted later, and may be located on one side (in the +x direction) of the orthodontic device (52) as illustrated in FIG. 5. The orthodontic device (52) has a tooth contact surface (52TFS) on the other side (in the -x direction) opposite to this one side, as illustrated in FIG. 6, and the contact portion may include a groove (52IO) located on this tooth contact surface (52TFS). The groove (52IO) may have a shape into which a corresponding positioner (32) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) can be inserted.

[0057] The orthodontic device (52) may have various shapes, and as an example, FIGS. 5 and 6 illustrate the orthodontic device (52) as having a base plate (521) and a slot-forming portion (522) protruding (in the +x direction) from the base plate (521). The orthodontic device (52) may have two slot-forming portions (522) spaced apart from each other (along the z-axis), such that a slot (52S) is defined by the two slot-forming portions (522) and the base plate (521). FIG. 5 illustrates that the slot (52S) is defined to have a shape extending along the y-axis direction. The back surface (in the -x direction) of the base plate (521) may be a tooth-bonding surface (52TFS). The slot-forming portions (522) and the base plate (521) may be integral.

[0058] Of course, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the orthodontic device (52) may have other shapes. For example, the orthodontic device (52) may have an overall shape such as a cube or a rectangular parallelepiped, and may have a slot (52S) on one side (in the +x direction) and a groove (52IO) on the tooth abutment surface (52TFS) on the other side (in the -x direction). In addition, the orthodontic device (52) may have a hook (not shown), etc., and a detachment prevention wire, etc. to prevent the orthodontic wire to be inserted into the slot (52S) from detaching from the orthodontic device (52), may be coupled to the hook, etc., and various modifications are possible.

[0059] The tooth bonding surface (52TFS) of the orthodontic device (52) is the surface of the orthodontic device (52) that faces the surface of the tooth (1) when the orthodontic device (52) is attached to the tooth (1). Therefore, the tooth bonding surface (52TFS) of the orthodontic device (52) has a substantially flat shape, but may have a shape corresponding to the surface of the tooth (1) to which it is attached, rather than a perfectly flat surface. That is, the outer portion of the groove (52IO) of the tooth bonding surface (52TFS) may include a curved surface corresponding to the surface of the tooth (1) to which it is to be attached. This is because, as illustrated in FIG. 3, after obtaining modeling data, which is data on the positions and shapes of teeth in an expected state after correction is completed, orthodontic device data on the shapes of orthodontic devices that can be attached to the surfaces of teeth in an expected state after correction is completed is obtained based on the data. The curved surface included in the tooth bonding surface (52TFS) of the orthodontic device (52) can be attached to the surface of the corresponding tooth (1) through a bonding member.

[0060] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 3, modeling data, which is data on the positions and shapes of teeth in an expected state after correction is completed, are obtained while positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) having a protruding shape are attached to teeth, and based on this, orthodontic device data, which is data on the shapes of orthodontic devices that can be attached to the surfaces of teeth in an expected state after correction is completed, are obtained. Accordingly, the shape of the groove (52IO) of the orthodontic device (52) may have a shape corresponding only to the corresponding positioner (32) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...). Therefore, when attaching orthodontic devices to teeth to be corrected in the future, each orthodontic device can be attached to the corresponding tooth accurately.

[0061] Figures 7 to 9 are conceptual diagrams schematically illustrating a process of correcting teeth using a dental orthodontic device according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0062] As illustrated in FIG. 7, the prepared orthodontic devices (51, 52, 53, ..., 61, 62, 63, ...) are attached to the surfaces of a plurality of teeth to be corrected. For example, the orthodontic device (52) may be attached to the surface of a tooth (1, first molar) in the position row, the orthodontic device (51) may be attached to the surface of a second molar in the position row, and the orthodontic device (53) may be attached to the surface of a second premolar in the position row. Similarly, the orthodontic device (62) may be attached to the surface of a tooth (2, first molar) in the lower row, the orthodontic device (61) may be attached to the surface of a second molar in the lower row, and the orthodontic device (63) may be attached to the surface of a second premolar in the lower row. Of course, each of the other orthodontic devices may be attached to the surface of a corresponding tooth.

[0063] FIG. 8 is a perspective view schematically illustrating an orthodontic device (62) attached to the surface of a tooth (2, first molar) of the lower dentition. FIG. 8 also illustrates an orthodontic device (62) having a base plate (621) and slot-forming portions (622) protruding (in the +x direction) from the base plate (621), and a slot (62S) defined (in the +x direction) by the base plate (621) and the slot-forming portions (622). The orthodontic device (62) can be attached to the tooth (2) via a bonding member (72). As the bonding member (72), an adhesive sold under the trade name of Transbond or the like by a company such as 3M can be used. At this time, the bonding member (72) can be positioned between the outer portion of the groove of the tooth bonding surface and the tooth (2). That is, the bonding member can be prevented from being positioned within the groove of the orthodontic device (62).

[0064] As described above, the groove of the orthodontic device (62) may have a shape in which a corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) can be inserted. Specifically, the shape of the groove of the orthodontic device (62) may have a shape corresponding only to the corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...). Therefore, if a joining member (72) is interposed between the inner surface of the groove of the orthodontic device (62) and the outer surface of the positioner (42), the positioner (42) may not be accurately engaged with the groove of the orthodontic device (62). This may ultimately cause a problem in that the orthodontic device (62) may not be positioned at an accurate position preset on the tooth (2).

[0065] Therefore, it is possible to prevent the bonding member from being positioned within the groove of the orthodontic device (62). To this end, the bonding member (72) may be applied only to the outer portion of the positioner (42) among the surfaces of the teeth (2) and then the orthodontic device (62) may be positioned on the teeth (2), or the bonding member (72) may be applied only to the outer portion of the groove among the tooth bonding surfaces of the orthodontic device (62) and then the orthodontic device (62) may be positioned on the teeth (2). This also applies to the embodiments and modifications thereof described below.

[0066] Through this process, when the curved surface of the tooth contact surface of the orthodontic device (62) is attached to the surface of the tooth (2), the positioner (42) located on the surface of the tooth (2) can come into contact with the groove of the orthodontic device (62). For example, when the curved surface of the tooth contact surface of the orthodontic device (62) is attached to the surface of the tooth (2), the positioner (42) located on the surface of the tooth (2) can be fitted into the groove of the orthodontic device (62). That is, when the curved surface of the tooth contact surface of the orthodontic device (62) is attached to the surface of the tooth (2), the outer surface of the positioner (42) located on the surface of the tooth (2) and the inner surface of the groove of the orthodontic device (62) can be in surface contact. Of course, the present invention is not limited to this, and when the curved surface of the tooth contact surface of the orthodontic device (62) is attached to the surface of the tooth (2), if the positioner (42) located on the surface of the tooth (2) contacts the groove of the orthodontic device (62), it will be said to fall within the scope of the present invention.

[0067] In this manner, as illustrated in FIG. 7, orthodontic devices (51, 52, 53, ..., 61, 62, 63, ...) are attached to the surfaces of a plurality of teeth to be corrected, and then orthodontic wires (81, 82) are mounted on the orthodontic devices (51, 52, 53, ..., 61, 62, 63, ...) as illustrated in FIG. 9. In FIG. 9, the orthodontic wire (81) is inserted into each slot of the orthodontic devices (51, 52, 53, ...) attached to the position row, and the orthodontic wire (82) is inserted into each slot of the orthodontic devices (61, 62, 63, ...) attached to the lower teeth row. These orthodontic wires (81, 82) can apply force in a specific direction to the teeth through the orthodontic devices (51, 52, 53, ..., 61, 62, 63, ...), thereby gradually changing the positions of the teeth, so that the teeth can be finally aligned as shown in FIG. 4.

[0068] So far, orthodontic devices (51, 52, 53, ..., 61, 62, 63, ...) and their manufacturing methods have been described, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, an orthodontic method for correcting teeth using the orthodontic devices (51, 52, 53, ..., 61, 62, 63, ...) described above is also within the scope of the present invention. This also applies to the embodiments and modifications thereof described below.

[0069] Meanwhile, in some cases, it may be necessary to detach at least one of the orthodontic appliances (51, 52, 53, ..., 61, 62, 63, ...) already attached to the tooth from the tooth, and then reattach the orthodontic appliance or a new orthodontic appliance to the corresponding tooth. This is because the orthodontic appliance may be damaged during the attachment process or in daily life after attachment. As described above, in the case of the orthodontic method, the orthodontic appliance, or the orthodontic appliance manufactured by the manufacturing method thereof according to an embodiment of the present invention, when the orthodontic appliance is attached to the tooth, the bonding member may not be positioned within the groove of the orthodontic appliance. Accordingly, even if the orthodontic appliance is detached from the tooth, the positioner on the surface of the tooth may not be damaged. As a result, by forming only the necessary orthodontic appliance using the previously acquired orthodontic appliance data, the groove of the orthodontic appliance may be precisely engaged with the positioner of the corresponding tooth, so that the orthodontic appliance may be precisely attached to the corresponding tooth.

[0070] FIG. 10 is a perspective view schematically illustrating a tooth orthodontic device (62) according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 11 is a conceptual diagram schematically illustrating a process of correcting teeth (2) using the tooth orthodontic device (62) and positioner (42) of FIG. 10.

[0071] As illustrated in FIG. 10, the orthodontic device (52) may have a base plate (621) and a slot-forming portion (622) protruding (in the +x direction) from the base plate (621). The slot-forming portion (622) and the base plate (621) may be integral. The back surface (in the -x direction) of the base plate (621) may be a tooth-bonding surface. The orthodontic device (62) may have a slot (62S) and a groove.

[0072] As described above, the slot (62S) is a place where the orthodontic wire can be inserted later, and can be located on one side (in the +x direction) of the orthodontic device (62), as illustrated in FIG. 10. The slot forming portion (622) can have a concave portion inwardly to define a slot (62S) (extending in the y-axis direction). The slot forming portion (622) can include hooks (62H), as illustrated in FIG. 10, if necessary. A detachment prevention wire or the like can be fastened to these hooks (62H), thereby preventing the orthodontic wire inserted into the slot (62S) from being detached from the orthodontic device (62). For example, after the orthodontic wire is positioned in the slot (62S), a ring-shaped detachment prevention wire can be fastened to the hooks (62H) positioned vertically (in the z-axis direction), thereby preventing the orthodontic wire inserted into the slot (62S) from being detached from the orthodontic device (62).

[0073] The groove of the contact portion may be defined by the base plate (621). For example, as illustrated in FIG. 10, the base plate (621) may have an indented portion (621ID) that is recessed inward. The groove of the contact portion of the orthodontic device (62) may be such an indented portion (621ID). That is, the groove of the orthodontic device (62) may have a shape that is recessed inwardly of the base plate (621).

[0074] In Fig. 10, the base plate (621) is illustrated as having a protrusion protruding in the +z direction, and this protrusion has an indentation (621ID) that is recessed inward to define a groove of the orthodontic device (62). However, the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the base plate (621) may have a shape that is approximately rectangular or square without a protrusion (when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the x-axis), but a portion of the base plate (621) may have a shape that is recessed inward to define a groove of the orthodontic device (62).

[0075] The base plate (621) of the orthodontic device (62) has a tooth contact surface in the opposite direction (-x direction) from the direction of the slot forming portion (622), and the orthodontic device (62) can be attached to the teeth so that this tooth contact surface faces the surface of the teeth. The description of the tooth contact surface described above with reference to FIG. 6, etc., can be applied to the tooth contact surface.

[0076] Fig. 11 schematically illustrates the attachment of the orthodontic device (62) to the teeth (2) in this manner. As illustrated in Fig. 11, the groove in the shape of the indentation (621ID) of the orthodontic device (62) may have a shape that can contact the corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...). Specifically, the inner surface (621IDS, see Fig. 10) of the groove in the shape of the indentation (621ID) of the orthodontic device (62) may contact a portion of the outer surface (42S) of the positioner (42). In Fig. 11, the inner surface (621IDS) of the groove in the shape of the indentation (621ID) of the orthodontic device (62) is shown to be in surface contact with a part of the outer surface (42S) of the positioner (42).

[0077] As described above, in a state where positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) having a protruding shape are attached to teeth, modeling data, which is data on the positions and shapes of teeth in an expected state after correction is completed, is acquired, and based on this, orthodontic device data, which is data on the shapes of (virtual) orthodontic devices that can be attached to the surfaces of teeth in an expected state after correction is completed, is acquired. A groove in the shape of an indentation (621ID) of a dental orthodontic device (62) manufactured using such orthodontic device data can correspond to a corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...).

[0078] As illustrated in Fig. 11, the orthodontic device (62) can be attached to the teeth (2) via a bonding member (72). As the bonding member (72), an adhesive sold by a company such as 3M under the trade name of Transbond, etc. can be used. At this time, the bonding member (72) can be positioned between the tooth bonding surface of the base plate (621) and the teeth (2). That is, the bonding member can be made not to be positioned between the inner surface (621IDS) of the groove in the shape of the indentation (621ID) of the orthodontic device (62) and the outer surface (42S) of the positioner (42).

[0079] The shape of the groove of the orthodontic device (62) may have a shape corresponding to the corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...). Therefore, if a joining member (72) is interposed between the inner surface (621IDS) of the groove in the shape of the indentation (621ID) of the orthodontic device (62) and the outer surface (42S) of the positioner (42), the positioner (42) may not be accurately engaged with the groove of the orthodontic device (62). This may ultimately cause a problem in that the orthodontic device (62) may not be positioned at the exact position preset on the tooth (2). Therefore, it is possible to prevent a bonding member from being positioned between the inner surface (621IDS) of the groove in the shape of the indentation (621ID) of the orthodontic device (62) and the outer surface (42S) of the positioner (42). This also applies to the embodiments and modifications thereof described below.

[0080] As illustrated in FIG. 10, the orthodontic device (62) is accurately positioned at a preset position on the tooth (2) only when the inner surface (621IDS) of the groove in the shape of the indentation (621ID) is brought into contact with a portion of the outer surface (42S) of the positioner (42) as illustrated in FIG. 11. FIG. 11 illustrates that the inner surface (621IDS) of the groove in the shape of the indentation (621ID) is in surface contact with a portion of each of two of the four outer surfaces (42S) of the positioner (42) in the shape of a roughly flat rectangular parallelepiped. Through this configuration, the orthodontic device (62) can be positioned on the surface of the tooth (2) easily and simply, while being accurately positioned at a preset position.

[0081] Meanwhile, as described above with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6, the contact portion of the orthodontic device (52) may have a groove (52IO). This groove (52IO) may be located on the tooth contact surface (52TFS) on the other side (in the -x direction) opposite to one side, as illustrated in FIG. 6. However, the present invention is not limited to the groove (52IO) being located inside the tooth contact surface (52TFS) as illustrated in FIG. 6.

[0082] For example, as illustrated in FIG. 12, which is a perspective view schematically illustrating a dental orthodontic device (62) according to one embodiment of the present invention, the dental orthodontic device (62) may have a shape in which a groove (62IO) is positioned on a tooth abutment surface (62TFS), but a portion of the groove (62IO) is open to the outside of the dental orthodontic device (62). In FIG. 12, the groove (62IO) is illustrated as having an extended shape as a side surface located between one side (in the +x direction) and the other side (in the -x direction) of the dental orthodontic device (62).

[0083] Even in the case of the orthodontic device (62) according to this embodiment, the groove (62IO) of the orthodontic device (62) may have a shape that can contact the corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...). In this case, the entire corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) may be inserted into the groove (62IO) of the orthodontic device (62), or alternatively, a part of the corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) may be inserted into the groove (62IO) of the orthodontic device (62).

[0084] Meanwhile, in the embodiment described above with reference to FIGS. 10 and 11, the contact portion of the orthodontic device (62) includes a groove, and the inwardly recessed portion (621ID) of the base plate (621) is described as such a groove, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 13, which is a perspective view schematically illustrating a orthodontic device (62) according to one embodiment of the present invention, the base plate (621) may have a protrusion (621PR) protruding in the +z direction, and a side surface (621PRS) of the protrusion (621PR) may be the contact portion of the orthodontic device (62).

[0085] Fig. 14 schematically illustrates the attachment of the orthodontic device (62) to the teeth (2) in this manner. As illustrated in Fig. 14, the protrusion (621PR) of the orthodontic device (62) may have a shape that can contact a corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...). Specifically, the corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) has a concave portion, and the protrusion (621PR) of the orthodontic device (62) may have a shape corresponding thereto. Accordingly, the side surface (621PRS) of the protrusion (621PR), which is the contact portion of the orthodontic device (62), can come into contact with a portion of the side surface (42S) of the positioner (42). In Fig. 14, the side surface (621PRS) of the protrusion (621PR), which is the contact portion of the orthodontic device (62), is illustrated as being in surface contact with a portion of the side surface (42S) of the positioner (42).

[0086] This orthodontic device (62) can be attached to a tooth (2) via a bonding member (72) as illustrated in Fig. 14. The bonding member (72) can be positioned between the tooth bonding surface of the base plate (621) and the tooth (2). That is, the bonding member can be prevented from being positioned between the side surface (621PRS) of the protrusion (621PR), which is the contact portion of the orthodontic device (62), and the outer surface (42S) of the positioner (42).

[0087] Of course, the orthodontic device (62) may have a contact portion without having a protrusion (621PR). For example, the contact portion of the orthodontic device (62) may include a portion of a side surface located between one side (in the +x direction) and the other side (in the -x direction) of the orthodontic device (62). A portion of the side surface of the base plate (621) may have a shape that can contact a corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...). That is, a portion of the side surface of the base plate (621) of the orthodontic device (62) may have a shape that corresponds to a portion of a side surface of a corresponding positioner (42) among the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...). Accordingly, a part of the side surface of the base plate (621), which is the contact portion of the orthodontic device (62), may come into contact with a part of the side surface of the positioner (42). For reference, a part of the side surface of the base plate (621), which is the contact portion, may have a curved surface, and a part of the side surface of the positioner (42) may also have a corresponding curved surface.

[0088] In addition, as described above, the positioners (31, 32, 33, ..., 41, 42, 43, ...) may have various shapes. FIGS. 15 to 17 are conceptual diagrams exemplarily illustrating positioners that can be used in an orthodontic device according to an embodiment of the present invention. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 15, the positioner (42) may have an overall flat rectangular parallelepiped shape, but may have a shape in which a concave groove (42G) is formed in a portion thereof. Alternatively, unlike as illustrated in FIG. 15, the positioner (42) may have an overall flat rectangular parallelepiped shape in which a portion of the upper surface is inclined. Alternatively, as illustrated in FIG. 16, the positioner (42) may have a shape like a ring as a whole with a through hole (42H) in the center, or as illustrated in FIG. 17, a part of the ring may be removed so that a part of the through hole (42H) in the center is exposed to the outside.

[0089] In any case, at least a part of the positioner (42) may be inserted into a groove (52IO) formed in a tooth-bonding surface (52TFS) of the orthodontic device (52) in a manner similar to that illustrated in FIG. 6, or contact an inner surface of a concave portion (621ID) of the orthodontic device (62) as illustrated in FIG. 10, or contact a groove (62IO) of the orthodontic device (62) as illustrated in FIG. 12, or contact an outer surface of a protrusion (621PR) of the orthodontic device (62) as illustrated in FIG. 14, or contact a side surface of a base plate (621) of the orthodontic device (62), so that the orthodontic device can be accurately positioned at a preset position.

[0090] While the present invention has been described with reference to the embodiments illustrated in the drawings, these are merely exemplary, and those skilled in the art will understand that various modifications and equivalent alternative embodiments are possible. Therefore, the true technical protection scope of the present invention should be determined by the technical spirit of the appended claims.

[0091] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a dental orthodontic device that can be easily and accurately attached to teeth and a method for manufacturing the same can be implemented.
