Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] PILE DRIVING MACHINE WITH ADJUSTABLE MAST SLIDES

[0003] FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The present invention relates to a pile driving machine with segmented and adjustable mast slides designed to prevent the mast slides from getting stuck in the U profile bearing element during the up-and-down linear movement of the pile driving unit in pile driving machines.

[0005] In particular, the present invention relates to a pile driving machine with segmented and adjustable mast slides in order to prevent the problem of jamming of said mast slides during the up-and-down movement of said mast slides in said U profile bearings due to various reasons, which reasons are manufacturing defects of the U profile bearing element or shrinkage of materials in cold working environments.

[0006] STATE OF THE ART

[0007] As the name suggests, pile driving machines are machines that enable piles, which are used for different purposes and may have different forms, to be driven into a surface by applying force from above. They work with hammer logic. For this reason, all pile driving machines have a pile driving unit that moves up and down. In order for the pile driving unit to move up and down, a bearing element is needed to guide it. There are mast slides connected to the pile driving unit to enable the pile driving unit to move up and down within / on the bearing element. However, said bearing element and mast slide parts can be in different forms and designs.

[0008] Today, different types of bearing mechanisms are used in pile driving machines for the up-down linear movement of the pile driving unit. One of these is U profile bearing elements. Movement is achieved by the mast slide parts connected to the pile driving unit moving back and forth within the U-shaped bent bearing element. However, due to errors that may occur during the manufacturing of the U profde bearing element or the mast slide part that must travel in the U profile bearing element or due to the working environment conditions, which usually occurs as a result of shrinkage of metals at different rates in extremely cold environments, due to deformations that may occur in the materials, mast slides can get stuck in the U profile bearing element. This means that the pile driving unit connected to the mast slide parts cannot move.

[0009] During jamming, the pile driving unit may get stuck above or below. If the jam is at the bottom, the pile driving unit can be pulled upwards with the help of a hydraulic cylinder and the jam can be removed. The hydraulic cylinder works one-way, which means it pulls the pile driving unit in the opposite direction of gravity. However, if the jam is at the top, actual operator intervention is required for this situation. The actual intervention mentioned occurs when the operator hits it with a hammer and ensures that the mast slide part and therefore the pile driving unit is freed from the stuck place. As a result of the force applied by the operator, if the mast slide part gets free from the place where it is stuck in the U profde bearing, it can fall down hard and this situation can cause large-scale occupational accidents.

[0010] Even if there is no work accident while the jamming problem is solved by the actual intervention of the operator, the time lost can cause disruption or even stoppage of work and consequently serious cost losses.

[0011] Although different solutions have been considered to overcome this problem, that is, the problem of the mast slides getting stuck in the U profde bearing element, we see that the necessary solutions cannot be developed for mechanisms using U profde sheet as bearing element.

[0012] For example, a pile driving machine is mentioned in the application numbered CN115012410 (A). In this application, the pile driving unit moves on cylindrical pipes (shown as number 10 in the drawings) rather than in a U-profde sheet. However, in this example, we can talk about compression as a result of shape deformations. And we see that no adequate solution is offered to eliminate this.

[0013] As a result, although there are different studies to ensure smooth up and down movement of the pile driving unit in different systems or to relieve the jam easily when it gets stuck, it is seen that there are not enough solutions for systems moving in the U profile bearing element. Due to the described disadvantages and the inadequacy of existing methods in solving the relevant problem, it became necessary to make a development in the relevant technical field.

[0014] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0015] The present invention relates to a pile driving machine with an adjustable mast slide part having a mechanism to relieve the jamming of the mast slide parts moving in the U profile bearing element, which is located on the right and left, which bear the up and down movement of the pile driving unit in the pile driving machines, and therefore the pile driving unit connected to it, in case the pile driving unit connected to it gets stuck while making its up and down movement in the said U profile bearing element.

[0016] As explained above, the inventive development eliminates the necessity for the operator to use a hammer or sledgehammer-like tool to apply strength in case the mast slide part gets stuck during its up and down movement in the U profile bearing plate.

[0017] In this context, the main purpose of the inventive development is to ensure occupational health and safety.

[0018] Another object of the inventive development is to prevent time and related cost losses.

[0019] The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following detailed description. Therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking this detailed description into consideration. Figures

[0047] In this detailed explanation, the pile driving machine (1) with adjustable mast slides

[0048] (5), which is the subject of the invention, will be explained only for a better understanding of the subject and without creating any limiting effect.

[0049] A pile driving machine (1) basically consists of 3 main parts. Body (2), mast (3) connected to the body (2) and pile driving unit (4) connected to the mast (3) and moving up and down. The main function of the body (2) is to carry other equipment while providing movement on the ground. While the mast (3) acts as a guide for the pile driving unit (4) to move up and down, the pile driving unit (2) ensures that the pile to be driven is driven into the ground by hitting it from above. The pile is placed in the pile holder (7) and driven by applying force from above with the help of a hammer (8).

[0050] There are two U profde bearing elements (6) on the mast (3), on the right and left. There are four mast slides (5), two on the right and two on the left, on the pile driving unit (4). These mast slides (5) are positioned inside the U profile bearing element (6) on the right and left, allowing the pile driving unit (4) to move up and down within the U profile bearing element (6).

[0051] The segmented and adjustable mast slides (5) subject to the invention are currently used as a single piece. In case of a possible jamming in the U profile bearing element

[0052] (6) of the mast slides (5) in the field, the operator actually intervenes in the incident, which may cause occupational accidents. Even if the operator's actual intervention does not result in a work accident, it causes long-term work stoppages and serious time and cost losses.

[0053] By means of the adjustable mast slides (5) subject to the invention, the aforementioned problems are solved by being able to move the mast slides (5) back and forth in case of possible jamming of the mast slides (5) in the U profile bearing element (6) or in case there is more space between the mast slides (5) and the U profile bearing element (6) than it should be.

[0054] The working principle of the adjustable mast slides (5) subject to the invention is as follows;

[0055] Adjustable mast slide (5) consists of a middle slide part (52), a right slide part (51) and a left slide part (53). A screw slot (14) is formed in the middle slide part (52). The screw (9) moves both within the screw slot (14) and within the screw bearing (10) that supports it. The screw bearing is fixed. As the screw (9) moves in the screw slot (14), the middle slide part (52) is moved back and forth depending on the movement of the screw (9).

[0056] The screw (9) moves in two directions, forward and backward.

[0057] • Movement of the screw (9) forward, that is, towards the U profile bearing element (6)

[0058] If there is too much space between the U profile bearing element (6) and the mast slide (5), vibration will occur in the up and down movement of the pile driving unit (4) and thus undesirable results may occur. For this reason, if the space is large, the screw (9) is rotated to move the middle slide part (52) forward, that is, towards the inner wall of the U profile bearing element (6). The forward movement of the middle slide part (52) enables the right slide part (51) and the left slide part (53) to be pushed towards the inner wall of the U profile bearing element (6), with the angled surfaces created. A flat surface was obtained by chamfering the radius comers of the right slide piece (51) and the left slide piece (53). In this way, when the right slide part (51) and the left slide part (53) lean against the inner wall of the U profile bearing element (6), the left slide space (11) and the right slide space (12) are formed. In this way, it is ensured that the right slide part (51) and the left slide part (53) can lean perfectly against the inner wall of the U profile bearing element (6). Movement of the screw (9) backwards, that is, away from the U profile bearing element

[0059] If the mast slide (5) gets stuck in the U profile bearing element (6), the pile driving unit (4) cannot move up and down. In such a case, the screw (9) is moved backwards, i.e. away from the U profile bearing element (6), in order to relieve the pressure / jamming of the mast slide (5) on the inner wall of the U profile bearing element (6). Thus, the middle slide part (52) connected to the screw (9) is removed from the U profile bearing element (6). As the middle slide part (52) moves backwards, the right slide part (51) and the left slide part (53) loosen and stop pressing on the inner wall of the U profile bearing element (6). Thus, the jam is eliminated.

[0060] As mentioned above, the right slide part (51), middle slide part (52) and left slide part (53) forming the mast slide (5) move up and down in the U profile bearing element (6) with the movement of the mast (8). During this up and down movement, the right slide part (51) and the left slide part (53) are exposed to friction with the inner wall of the U profile bearing element (6). For this reason, in order for the fragmented mast slide (5) to move up and down together as if it were a whole; it has the following;

[0061] • upper support plate (15) to prevent the upward movement of the right slide part (51) and the left slide part (53) in the downward movement of the mast (8) due to the friction effect with the inner wall of the U profile bearing element (6),

[0062] • lower support plate (16) to prevent the downward movement of the mast (8) in the upward movement of the same both by the effect of gravity and by the friction effect of the right slide part (51) and the left slide part (53) with the inner wall of the U profile bearing element (6).

[0063] With the angle (13) formed by the intersection of the lines drawn parallel to the surfaces where the middle slide part (52) contacts the right slide part (51) and the left slide part (53), the right slide part (51) and the left slide part (53) can be moved depending on the forward-backward movement of the middle slide part (52). The angle (13) formed by the intersection of the lines drawn parallel to the surfaces where the middle slide part touches the right slide part and the left slide part must theoretically be greater than 0 degrees and less than 180 degrees.
