Description

Incense smoke trap

[0001] The present invention is a device for use with incense.

[0002] Incense sticks in various shapes, such as cones, spirals, and bamboo sticks, have been developed. The enjoyment of incense is achieved by lighting the stick and enjoying the aroma of its smoke. Traditionally, incense holders, incense dishes, and incense burners have been used to use incense. Furthermore, recently, devices have been developed that allow the enjoyment of the flow of smoke, as described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 and Non-Patent Documents 1 and 2.

[0003] The incense lighting device (1) described in Patent Document 1 (reference numerals in parentheses refer to prior art documents; the same applies below) is a device comprising a transparent or semi-transparent main body (4) capable of housing an incense burning device, upper and lower ventilation openings (3 and 6) provided at the top and bottom of the main body (4), and a lighting unit (2) provided at the top. The lighting unit (2) is capable of illuminating the inside of the main body (4) from above downward.

[0004] The smoke drawing device (1) described in Patent Document 2 is an apparatus including a mounting member (3) on which a smoke generating member (9) is mounted, an upper container (5) arranged on top of the mounting member (3) for receiving the smoke generated by the smoke generating member (9) and rising inside, and a translucent lower container (7) arranged below the mounting member (3). The smoke drawing device (1) is an apparatus that causes the smoke received by the upper container (5) and descending through a passage hole (3a) in the mounting member (3) to circulate inside the lower container (7), causing the smoke to draw irregular patterns.

[0005] The device described in Non-Patent Document 1 is a device in which incense sticks are hung inside a transparent cylindrical body, and light is shone from the bottom of the body, allowing the flow of smoke inside the body to be observed.

[0006] The device described in Non-Patent Document 2, like the device described in Patent Document 2, has a structure in which a plate is placed on top of a transparent cylindrical lower body, stick-type incense is placed on the plate and lit, and a translucent upper glass is placed over the plate. The incense smoke slowly falls into the lower body. A lighting unit is provided at the bottom of the body, allowing the smoke to flow around the body and be viewed.

[0009] Until now, there has been no device that can collect the smoke produced by incense and slowly release it into space. Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a device that can collect the smoke produced by incense and slowly release it into space, allowing you to enjoy incense comfortably.

[0010] Here, we will explain the differences between the present invention and the inventions described in the prior art documents. In the incense lighting device (1) described in Patent Document 1, smoke is generated inside the main body (4), and the smoke generated inside the main body (4) is released to the outside through the ventilation opening. The incense ignition part is located inside the main body (4). On the other hand, in the present invention, the incense ignition part is located in an unenclosed space. In this respect, the present invention differs from the incense lighting device (1) described in Patent Document 1.

[0011] In the smoke drawing device (1) described in Patent Document 2, the incense lighting part is located between the upper container (5) and the lower container (7). In contrast, in the present invention, the incense lighting part is located in an open space. In this respect, the present invention differs from the smoke drawing device (1) described in Patent Document 2.

[0012] The incense ignition point of the device described in Non-Patent Document 1 is located inside a transparent cylindrical body. On the other hand, in the present invention, the incense ignition point is located in an open space. In this respect, the present invention differs from the device described in Non-Patent Document 1.

[0013] In the device described in Non-Patent Document 2, the incense lighter is located between the lower transparent cylindrical body and the upper glass. On the other hand, in the present invention, the incense lighter is located in an open space. In this respect, the present invention differs from the device described in Non-Patent Document 2.

[0014] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention has the following features. The present invention is a smoke trap device for incense, comprising a smoke trap installed above the burnt incense with a space between the incense, a support for supporting the smoke trap, and a lighting unit capable of illuminating the interior of the smoke trap. The smoke trap has an opening that allows smoke from the incense to enter the interior, and is transparent or translucent so that the flow of smoke inside can be seen from the outside.

[0015] Preferably, the smoke trap has a vent for gradually releasing smoke trapped in the smoke trap into the air.

[0016] Preferably, the size of the opening of the vent portion is adjustable.

[0017] Preferably, the support further includes an incense holder that serves as a base for the support and functions as an incense holder, incense dish, or incense burner, or on which an incense holder, incense dish, or incense burner can be placed.

[0018] Preferably, the smoke trap is transparent or translucent.

[0019] The smoke trap may also be provided by stacking a plurality of smoke trapping portions one above the other.

[0020] The smoke from the incense is accumulated in the smoke accumulation section through the opening of the smoke accumulation section, and the accumulated smoke is gradually released into the space.

[0021] By illuminating the inside of the smoke chamber, it can achieve a beauty never seen before.

[0022] By providing a vent, the smoke accumulated in the smoke trap can be gradually released into the air. Furthermore, by making the size of the opening of the vent adjustable, the amount of smoke released into the air can be adjusted.

[0023] By further providing an incense holder, the smoke reservoir can be stabilized and the incense holder can also be used for other purposes such as placing an incense holder.

[0024] If the smoke reservoir is made transparent or semi-transparent, the accumulated smoke can be seen.

[0025] These and other objects, features, aspects and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0026] FIG. 1 is a front view showing the structure of an incense smoke storage device 1 according to a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a front view showing the smoke storage device 1 when in use. FIG. 3 is a front view showing the structure of a smoke storage device 1 according to a second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a front view showing the structure of a smoke storage device 1 according to a third embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a front view showing the structure of a smoke storage device 1 according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a front view showing the structure of a smoke storage device 1 when the smoke storage section 3 is stacked vertically. FIG. 7 is a front view showing the structure of a smoke storage device 1 when there are multiple support sections 4. FIG. 8 is a front view showing the structure of a smoke storage device 1 when the support section 4 is rectangular.

[0027] First Embodiment In FIG. 1, an incense smoke trapping device 1 according to a first embodiment includes an incense holder 2, a smoke trapping section 3, a support section 4, and a lighting section 5.

[0028] The incense holder 2 serves as the base of the support 4, and is a member on which an incense holder, incense dish, incense burner, or other incense holder-mounted device can be placed. The incense holder 2 itself may also function as an incense holder, dish, or burner. The material and shape of the incense holder 2 are not limited to those shown in the figure. The incense placed in the incense holder 2 receives a supply of oxygen from above the space 7, ignites, and emits smoke.

[0029] The smoke trap 3 is transparent, translucent, or opaque, and has an opening 3a at the bottom. The illustrated smoke trap 3 is a transparent cylinder with an opening 3a at the bottom, but the material and shape are not limited to those shown. The smoke trap 3 has at least one ventilation hole 3b at the top.

[0030] The smoke reservoir 3 is provided with an illumination unit 5 such as an LED at its top. The power supply and electrical circuit for driving the illumination unit 5 may be built into the top of the smoke reservoir 3a, into the support unit 4, or into the incense holder 2, and this does not limit the present invention. The power supply may also be supplied from outside the smoke reservoir device 1.

[0031] The support part 4 is a member for supporting the smoke reservoir part 3. The smoke reservoir part 3 is provided at a distance from the incense placement part 2 so that a space 7 is formed between the smoke reservoir part 3 and the incense placement part 2. The support part 4 is connected to the incense placement part 2.

[0032] Since incense obtains oxygen from the space 7, it can continue to burn even if the smoke reservoir 3 is not provided with the vent 3b, and therefore smoke can be stored in the smoke reservoir 3 even without the vent 3b. The vent 3b may be made openable so that the size of the vent can be adjusted.

[0033] Furthermore, since smoke can be accumulated in the smoke accumulation section 3 without shining light on the smoke, the lighting section 5 is not necessary.

[0034] As shown in Figure 2, when incense 6 is burned in the smoke storage device 1 configured as described above, the smoke rises and enters the smoke storage section 3 through the opening 3a, causing the smoke to accumulate in the smoke storage section 3. As shown in Figure 2, when the lighting section 5 shines light from above, the flow of the smoke and the way the smoke accumulates can be appreciated, providing a new aesthetic experience. The smoke accumulated in the smoke storage section 3 is gradually released into the air through the opening 3a and the ventilation opening 3b, allowing the user to enjoy the incense in comfort.

[0035] If the size of the ventilation opening 3b can be adjusted, the amount of smoke released can be adjusted.

[0036] Second Embodiment As shown in Figure 3, the smoke trap device 1 according to the second embodiment has a structure in which an illumination unit 5 is provided below the smoke trap unit 3. The rest is the same as the first embodiment. If the illumination unit 5 is constructed using only LEDs, it can be made compact, and therefore the illumination unit 5 can be attached to a rod that spans part of the opening 3a, for example. Wiring and the like can be concealed with decorative material as appropriate.

[0037] According to the second embodiment, light can be shone from below upward, so that a smoke accumulation device 1 is provided that allows the smoke to be accumulated while the flow of the smoke can be observed.

[0038] (Third embodiment) In Figure 4, a smoke trap device 1 according to a third embodiment has a structure in which an illumination unit 5 is provided on the side of the smoke trap 3. The rest is the same as in the first embodiment. If the illumination unit 5 is constructed using only LEDs, it can be made compact, and therefore the illumination unit 5 can be attached to the side of the smoke trap 3, for example. Wiring and the like can be concealed with decorative material as appropriate.

[0039] According to the third embodiment, light can be shone from the side, so that a smoke collecting device 1 is provided that allows the smoke to be collected while the flow of the smoke can be enjoyed.

[0040] Alternatively, the lighting unit 5 may be provided in the incense holder 2, the support 4, or any other suitable location, instead of in the smoke reservoir 3. In other words, the lighting unit 5 may be provided in a position where it can shine light onto the smoke.

[0041] (Fourth embodiment) There may be a need to use a favorite incense holder, incense dish, or incense burner. In this case, it is recommended to place a favorite incense holder or the like on the incense holder 2 of the first to third embodiments.

[0042] Furthermore, instead of providing the incense holder 2 in the smoke storage device 1 as in the fourth embodiment, a configuration such as that shown in Figure 4 can be considered in which the smoke storage unit 3 is placed on a favorite incense holder 8 or the like.

[0043] In this case, it is preferable that the support portion 4 has a base 4a so that the smoke trap portion 3 does not fall over, but the specific shape and structure can be designed as appropriate.

[0044] The smoke trap 3 of the smoke trap device 1 according to the fourth embodiment is not provided with a lighting section or a vent section. Also, although the smoke trap 3 is described as having a spherical shape, this is merely an example and does not limit the present invention.

[0045] In the first to fourth embodiments, the oxygen supplied to the incense is not blocked, so the incense burns more efficiently than in the prior art described above. While there may be some smoke leaking from the space 7, most of the smoke is temporarily collected in the smoke collection section 3 by the rising air current. Then, if the structure has an opening 3a or a vent 3b, the smoke will gradually be released into the space through the vent 3b.

[0046] By providing a lighting section 5 and shining light onto the smoke reservoir section 3, a new aesthetic feeling can be enjoyed.

[0047] The shape of the incense is not limited to incense sticks, but may be any shape such as a cone, a spiral, or a bamboo stick.

[0048] Other modified examples will be described using Figures 6 to 8. As shown in Figure 6, the smoke trapping device 1 may be configured with two smoke trapping sections 3 stacked one above the other. With this structure, smoke is trapped at the top and bottom, creating a new aesthetic. As shown in Figure 7, the smoke trapping device 1 may be configured with multiple support sections 4. This increases stability and improves design. Three or more smoke trapping sections 3 may be provided one above the other, or on both sides. As shown in Figure 8, the smoke trapping device 1 may be configured with a rectangular support section 4. This increases stability and improves design. The ventilation opening 3b may be any type that slides left and right, slides up and down, or rotates to open and close, as long as the size of the opening can be adjusted. In these modified examples, the ventilation opening may be omitted.

[0049] Although the present invention has been described in detail above, the above description is merely illustrative of the present invention in all respects and is not intended to limit its scope. It goes without saying that various improvements and modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. Each of the constituent elements of the invention disclosed in this specification is considered to be an independent, stand-alone invention. Inventions that combine the constituent elements in any manner are also included in the present invention. The specific expressions in this specification are merely examples, and the present invention also includes those that conceptualize these exemplary expressions.

[0050] The present invention is a smoke trap and is industrially applicable.
