Abstract

The present disclosure provides a medicament for treating brain diseases. Specifically, provided is a pharmaceutical composition. The active ingredient of the pharmaceutical composition comprises: (a) a first active ingredient, wherein the first active ingredient is a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of salvianolic acid; and (b) a second active ingredient, wherein the second active ingredient is ginsenoside or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The pharmaceutically acceptable salt of salvianolic acid is selected from the following group: magnesium salvianolate B, calcium salvianolate B, magnesium salvianolate A, sodium rosmarinate, and a combination thereof. The ginsenoside is selected from the following group: ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Rh2, ginsenoside Rb1, and a combination thereof. The mass ratio of the first active ingredient to the second active ingredient is 1:(0.1-10), wherein the mass ratio is based on the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of salvianolic acid and ginsenoside. Also provided is use of the pharmaceutical composition in preventing or treating brain diseases.
