[0076] FIG. 1 is a flowchart of a multi-filament printing control method according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG. 1, the multi-filament printing control method is applied to a 3D printing system, the 3D printing system includes one or more filament boxes and a printer, the printer includes a print head, and the method includes block S110~ block  S150.

[0077] The multi-filament printing control method provided by the embodiment of the present application is applied to the 3D printing system which includes and is electrically connected to the filament boxes and the printer, the number of the filament boxes may be one or more, the 3D printing system and the filament boxes may be connected via a USB or a Type-C interface, and the 3D printing system determines whether to connect the filament boxes according to a signal from the interface, which can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited by the embodiment of the present application.

[0078] Generally, since the types of filaments that can be placed in one filament box are limited, a plurality of filament boxes are connected to increase the types of filaments, for example, when 4 colors of filaments can be placed in each filament box, the 3D printing system can use 16 colors of filaments by connecting 2 filament boxes. The more filament boxes the 3D printing system has been connected, the more colors it can use.

[0079] The printer has a print head which includes an extruder and a nozzle. The extruder extrudes the filament into the nozzle, and the nozzle spits out the filament for printing.

[0080] In block S110, the number of the filament boxes connected with the printer is determined and a preset signal is detected from each of the filament boxes.

[0081] Each filament box is detected to check if the preset signal can be detected from the filament box. The following takes a detection process of one of the filament boxes as an example. The detection process is the same for each filament box.

[0082] Since the filaments for printing may come from a plurality of manufacturers, the materials and models of the filaments may vary with different manufacturers. In order to determine whether the filaments in the filament box meet the printing requirements of the target printer, a preset signal needs to be detected to check whether the preset signal can be detected from the filaments. The method for detecting the preset signal can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0083] In the embodiment of the present application, the detection of the preset signal from each filament box can be regarded as detecting each filament in the filament box to check whether  the preset signal can be detected from the filament.

[0084] For example, in the embodiment of the present application, a relevant signal transmitting assembly can be arranged on the filament for transmitting the preset signal. The signal transmitting assembly can be any assembly that can transmit an electrical signal, such as Bluetooth sensors, NFC sensors, and RFID sensors, which can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited by the embodiment of the present application.

[0085] For example, the preset signal includes an RFID signal or an NFC signal. When the signal transmitting assembly is an RFID sensor, the preset signal is an RFID signal; and when the signal transmitting assembly can be an NFC sensor, the preset signal is an NFC signal.

[0086] It should be noted that the preset signal also includes relevant information about the filament, such as brand, category, name, color, diameter, remaining amount, density, length, and printing temperature range of the filament, which can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited by the embodiment of the present application. The value of the preset range can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0087] In block S120, preset parameter information of each of the filaments in each of the filament boxes is acquired based on a detection result of the preset signal, the filaments include a first filament and a second filament.

[0088] The preset parameter information of each of the filaments in each of the filament boxes is acquired based on the detection result of the preset signal. In the embodiment of the present application, the preset signal is detected for each of the filaments, and one of the filaments is used as an example for description. If the preset signal can be detected from the filament, the preset parameter information is extracted from the preset signal; and if the preset signal cannot be detected from the filament, the preset parameter information is extracted based on parameters input by a user. The method for extracting the preset parameter information of each of the filaments can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0089] In the embodiment of the present application, the preset parameter information  includes at least the color and remaining amount of the filament, the value of the preset parameter information can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0090] In the embodiment of the present application, the multi-filament printing control method involves at least two filaments, namely the first filament and the second filament. The first filament and the second filament are different and can be located at different positions in the same filament box or in different filament boxes, which can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0091] In some embodiments, the preset parameter information includes first preset parameter information and / or second preset parameter information, and the method of acquiring, based on the detection result of the preset signal, the preset parameter information of each of the filaments in each of the filament boxes includes: acquiring, based on the preset signal, the first preset parameter information of a corresponding filament when the preset signal is detected from the filament box; and acquiring, based on a user instruction, the second preset parameter information of a corresponding filament when the preset signal is not detected from the filament box.

[0092] When the preset signal is detected from the filament box, it means that a filament exists in the filament box, and the first preset parameter information included in the preset signal is read and displayed. For example, when 4 types of filaments are placed in the filament box, if no filaments are placed at the first and second positions, the first and second filaments are placed at the third and fourth positions respectively, and the preset signal is detected from both the first and second filaments, the first preset parameter information of the first filament and the first preset parameter information of the second filament are respectively read from the corresponding preset signals.

[0093] It should be noted that in the embodiment of the present application, the value of the first preset parameter information can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0094] For example, the first preset parameter information may include the code number,  remaining amount, material, and color of the filament. The code number of the filament represents the position of the filament in the filament box, and the remaining amount represents the remaining amount of the filament.

[0095] When the preset signal cannot be detected from the filament box, there may be two possibilities: one is that there is a filament in the filament box but there is no signal transmitting assembly arranged on the filament, resulting in the failure to detect the preset signal; the other is that there are no filaments in the filament box and the preset signal cannot be detected.

[0096] Therefore, before the method of acquiring, based on the user instruction, the second preset parameter information of the corresponding filament, the method further includes: determining whether a filament exists in the filament box; generating the user instruction in response to the second preset parameter information input by one or more manners selected from a group consisting of a user voice input, a user manual selection, and a user manual input when the filament exists in the filament box; and setting the second preset parameter information in the user instruction to null when no filament exists in the filament box.

[0097] In the embodiment of the present application, it is first determined whether there are filaments in the filament box, and the determination method can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0098] As an implementation manner, the filament box is provided with a plurality of filament tanks, a signal receiving assembly is arranged within a preset range of the filament tank, and the method of detecting the preset signal from each of the filament boxes includes:

[0099] detecting, through the signal receiving assembly, whether a filament in the corresponding filament tank has the preset signal;

[0100] and / or,

[0101] the filament box is provided with a filament sensor and the method of determining whether a filament exists in the filament box includes:

[0102] detecting, through the filament sensor, whether a filament exists in the corresponding filament tank.

[0103] In the embodiment of the present application, the filament is a thread-like coil  wound around a tray, the above-mentioned signal transmitting assembly is arranged on the tray, and the tray is arranged in the filament tank of the filament box. Different filaments are wound around different trays and different trays are placed in different filament tanks. A signal receiving assembly is arranged within a preset range of each filament tank to ensure that the signal receiving assembly can receive the preset signal transmitted by the corresponding tray.

[0104] For example, when the preset signal is an RFID signal, the signal receiving assembly is an RFID reading assembly; and when the preset signal is an NFC signal, the signal receiving assembly is an NFC reading assembly.

[0105] It should be noted that the value of the preset range can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0106] In the embodiment of the present application, a filament sensor is arranged in the filament box. When a user inserts the tray into the filament tank, the filament sensor detects a signal. For each filament tank, if the filament sensor detects a signal, it can be determined that a filament exists in the filament tank; and if the filament sensor detects no signal, it can be determined that no filament exists in the filament tank.

[0107] After determining whether there are filaments in the filament box, if it is determined that a filament exists in the filament box but the preset signal cannot be detected, since the information of the filament cannot be read from the preset signal, the user can directly input the second preset parameter information of the filament and a user instruction is generated based on the second preset parameter information input by the user. The method for inputting the second preset parameter information of the filament can be voice input, manual selection among existing parameters, direct manual input, or a combination thereof, which can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0108] If no filament is determined existing in the filament box and the user cannot input corresponding information, the second preset parameter information in the user instruction is set to null.

[0109] Therefore, when the preset signal is not detected, the determination is made based on the user instruction: if the user instruction includes the second preset parameter information, the  second preset parameter information of the corresponding filament is displayed; and if the user instruction is null, the filament at the corresponding position is displayed as null.

[0110] In block S130, a printing model file is acquired, the printing model file includes model information, a printing path, and a filament switching instruction.

[0111] Then, the printing model file can be acquired, which is generally a geometry code (Gcode) file and includes the model information, the printing path, and the filament switching instruction. The model information includes the filaments and the amount thereof that needs to be used, the printing path refers to the moving path of the nozzle, and the filament switching instruction refers to the instruction transmitted when the filament needs to be switched during the printing process.

[0112] In block S140, the first filament is matched based on the printing model file and the preset parameter information of each of the filaments, and a printing operation is performed according to the printing path.

[0113] The first filament that meets printing conditions is matched based on the printing model file and the preset parameter information of each of the filaments, for example, the material and color of the required filament are matched with those of each of the filaments. If the material and color of the first filament are the same as those of the required filament, the first filament can be used for printing according to the above printing path.

[0114] In block S150: the first filament being printed is switched to the second filament in response to the filament switching instruction, and a printing operation is performed by using the second filament.

[0115] The printer starts printing after receiving the code of the printing model file and transmits the filament switching instruction to the filament box or an external device that controls the filament box when it is required to switch filaments during the printing process, which can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0116] In the embodiment of the present application, transmitting the filament switching instruction to the filament box is taken as an example for description. After receiving the filament  switching instruction, the filament box switches the first filament being printed to the second filament and continues to perform a printing operation using the second filament.

[0117] In some embodiments, FIG. 2 is a flowchart of a filament switching operation according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG. 2, the 3D printing system further includes a cutting device and the method of switching the first filament being printed to the second filament and performing the printing operation using the second filament includes:

[0118] S151: controlling the print head to stop and move to a preset wiping position;

[0119] S152: controlling the first filament to be transferred to the cutting device according to a returning path and to be cut into a first part and a second part, controlling the first part to be transferred to the cutting device according to the returning path, and discarding the second part; and

[0120] S153: controlling the second filament to be transferred to the print head according to a feeding path, controlling the print head to perform a wiping operation at the preset wiping position, and controlling the print head to perform a printing operation using the second filament after the wiping operation is completed.

[0121] FIG. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of a 3D printing system according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG. 3, the 3D printing system includes a filament box, a loading and unloading device, a cutting device, and a print head of a printer. The loading and unloading device can be installed inside or outside the filament box or can be arranged separately from the filament box, which can be determined based on the actual situation. In the embodiment of the present application, the loading and unloading device is installed at the front end of the filament box as an example for description. Different filaments in the filament box enter the loading and unloading device according to different paths, the output tube of the loading and unloading device is connected to the cutting device, and the output tube of the cutting device is connected to the print head.

[0122] The filament box is configured to accommodate filaments, the first filament and the second filament are respectively placed in different filament tanks of the filament box, and each  filament is connected to the loading and unloading device through different channels, for example, the first filament is connected to the loading and unloading device through a first tube, and the second filament is connected to the loading and unloading device through a second tube; a driving device is arranged inside the loading and unloading device, and when a filament needs to be fed, the driving device works to provide a driving force in the feeding direction, thereby driving the corresponding filament to be fed; when the filament needs to be returned, the driving device provides a driving force in the returning direction, thereby driving the corresponding filament to be returned. Taking the first filament as an example, when the first filament needs to be transferred according to the feeding path, the first filament is extruded along the first tube onto the feeding tube so that the first filament is transferred according to the feeding path; the end of the feeding tube is connected to the cutting device, the first filament is transferred to the print head after passing through the cutting device, and the print head extrudes the first filament for product printing.

[0123] It should be noted that the filament box and the printer are controlled by different controllers, the controller in the filament box is configured to control the related operations of the filaments and the loading and unloading device, and the controller in the printer is configured to control the related operations of the cutting device and the print head.

[0124] When the filament box receives the filament switching instruction, the print head is controlled to stop printing through each of the controllers in the printer. The printer also controls the print head to move to the preset wiping position in preparation for wiping the print head, the purpose of the wiping operation is to wipe the nozzle of the print head to prevent filaments of different colors or materials from being mixed together and causing contamination, and the preset wiping position can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0125] The first filament is controlled to be transferred to the cutting device according to the returning path and is cut into the first part and the second part at the cutting device. In the actual implementation process, the extruder returns the first filament from the extruder and the returned first filament is transferred along the returning path. After the first filament is transferred  to the cutting device, it is detected by a sensor installed at the cutting device so that the first filament is cut into two parts by the cutter. The first part of the first filament continues to be returned to the cutting device along the returning path and the second part is discarded along the waste path. In the embodiment of the present application, an additional waste path is connected to the cutting device specifically for discarding waste.

[0126] It should be noted that the feeding path and the returning path can be the same or different, which can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application. When the feeding path and the returning path are different, one end of the returning path is connected to the print head, and the other end thereof is connected to the outlet of the loading and unloading device.

[0127] For example, the feeding path and the returning path are the same.

[0128] Referring to FIG. 3, in the embodiment of the present application, the feeding path and the returning path are the same. The cutting device can be arranged at any position along the feeding path, which can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0129] For example, controlling the first filament to be transferred to the cutting device according to a returning path can be understood as transferring the first filament to the cutter of the cutting device according to the returning path.

[0130] In the embodiment of the present application, the cutting device further includes a cutter which is controlled to cut the first filament into a first part and a second part.

[0131] It should be noted that a driving device is also arranged inside the cutting device, and the driving device provides power in different directions so that the filaments are transferred along the feeding path or the returning path.

[0132] In the embodiment of the present application, the first filament at the extruder of the print head is returned and the extruded first filament is cut into the first part and the second part at the cutting device. In order to save filaments, the first part is returned to the cutting device so that it can be reused if required later, and in addition, in order to avoid cross-contamination between the first filament and the second filament, the second part is discarded; finally, the second filament  is transferred to the print head and after the print head completes the wiping operation, it extrudes the second filament to complete the printing operation.

[0133] The second filament is then controlled to be transferred to the extruder of the print head according to the feeding path. The specific transfer process is the same as that of the filament described above. Reference may be made to the above process for details. In the actual implementation process, the second filament is first extruded by the loading and unloading device into the second tube, then transferred by the second tube to the cutting device, and then reaches the feeding tube after passing through the cutting device, and finally transferred to the print head.

[0134] The printer also controls the nozzle of the print head to perform the wiping operation at the preset wiping position. In the embodiment of the present application, the preset wiping operation can be performed for a predetermined period of time, and the nozzle of the print head can be wiped clean through the wiping operation; after the predetermined period of time has elapsed, the extruder in the print head extrudes the second filament out of the printed product.

[0135] For the multi-filament printing control method proposed by the present application, the print head extrudes the first filament for printing first and when it is required to switch the first filament to the second filament, the printer transmits the filament switching instruction, controls the print head to stop printing to ensure printing safety, and further controls the print head to move to the preset wiping position; and then the first filament at the print head is returned and the extruded first filament is cut into the first part and the second part at the cutting device. In order to save filaments, the first part is returned to the cutting device so that it can be reused if required later, and in addition, in order to avoid cross-contamination between the two printing filaments, the second part is discarded. Finally, the second filament is transferred to the print head and after the print head completes the wiping operation, it extrudes the second filament to complete the printing operation. The embodiment of the present application can fully automatically complete the filament switching operation of the printer without the need for manual monitoring and switching, thus achieving a high degree of automation, improving work efficiency, and saving labor costs.

[0136] In some embodiments, FIG. 4 is a flowchart of switching to a second filament according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG. 4, the method of  controlling the second filament to be transferred to the print head according to the feeding path and controlling the print head to perform the wiping operation at the preset wiping position includes:

[0137] S410: determining whether the second filament is detected at the print head;

[0138] S420: controlling the print head to perform a wiping operation at the preset wiping position if the second filament is detected at the print head; and

[0139] S430: controlling the second filament to continue to be transferred according to the feeding path until the second filament is detected at the print head if the second filament is not detected at the print head.

[0140] During the process of transferring the second filament to the print head according to the feeding path, if a sensor at the print head detects the second filament, it means that the second filament has been transferred to the print head. At this time, a wiping operation is performed on the nozzle of the print head to prevent the residual first filament in the nozzle from contaminating a new filament.

[0141] If the sensor at the print head does not detect the second filament, it means that the second filament has not reached the print head and needs to be further transferred. A driving force in the feeding direction provided by the driving device of the loading and unloading device and the cutting device drives the second tray to rotate toward the preset feeding direction so that the second filament continues to be transferred until it is detected at the print head.

[0142] It should be noted that the sensor is generally installed at the extruder of the print head.

[0143] As an implementation manner, the method of controlling the print head to perform the wiping operation at the preset wiping position includes: controlling the second filament to continue to be fed for a preset length, extruding a residue of the first filament in a throat tube of the print head, controlling the second filament to be in a pre-printing state, and controlling the print head to perform a wiping operation at the preset wiping position, the preset length is not larger than the length of the throat tube.

[0144] In the embodiment of the present application, when the wiping operation is performed on the nozzle of the print head, the second filament is located at the extruder. First, the  second filament continues to be fed toward the nozzle for the preset length. Since the preset length is not larger than the length of the printer’s throat tube, the second filament can extrude the residual first filament in the throat tube from the nozzle. At the same time, the second filament is in a pre-printing state; and then the nozzle is controlled to perform a wiping operation to wipe clean the residual first filament at the nozzle to avoid cross-contamination of the second filament.

[0145] It should be noted that the pre-printing state means that the nozzle temperature and the extrusion pressure are set within an appropriate parameter range based on the type of the filament.

[0146] In some embodiments, the 3D printing system further includes a buffer device and the multi-filament printing control method further includes: detecting, at the buffer device, a buffer state of a filament transferred from the filament box to the printer; and performing, based on the buffer state, a buffer control on the filament.

[0147] In the embodiment of the present application, the 3D printing system further includes a buffer device, which is located between the cutting device and the print head and is used to buffer the speed of the filament entering the printer. At the buffer device, the buffer state of the filament transferred from the filament box to the printer is detected and can be determined based on the feeding speed or whether the filament at the print head is sufficient, which can be determined based on the actual situation and is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.

[0148] Then, according to the buffer state, buffer control is performed on the filament so that the speed of the filament entering the print head is appropriate.

[0149] As an implementation manner, the buffer state includes a filament shortage state, a normal state, and a sufficient filament state, and the method of performing, based on the buffer state, the buffer control on the filament includes: controlling the feeding speed of the filament box to be higher than the extrusion speed of the print head if it is detected that the filament is in the filament shortage state; controlling the feeding speed of the filament box to be lower than the extrusion speed of the print head if it is detected that the filament is in the sufficient filament state; and maintaining the feeding speed of the filament box and the extrusion speed of the print head if  it is detected that the filament is in the normal state.

[0150] In the embodiment of the present application, the buffer state is divided into three situations: a filament shortage state, a normal state, and a sufficient filament state. The filament shortage state means that the buffer device detects a shortage of filaments therein, indicating that the feeding speed is slow and the printing speed is fast; therefore, when a shortage of filaments is detected, the feeding speed of the filament box is controlled to be higher than the extrusion speed of the print head. The normal state means that the buffer device detects an appropriate amount of filaments therein, indicating that the feeding speed and the extrusion speed are within a reasonable range, in which case the current feeding speed and the extrusion speed of the print head are maintained. The sufficient filament state means that the buffer device detects sufficient filaments therein, indicating that the feeding speed is higher than the extrusion speed, in which case the feeding speed is controlled to be lower than the extrusion speed of the print head.

[0151] FIG. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of a cutting buffer device according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG. 5, the cutting buffer device has two functions: cutting and buffering, and is configured to realize the functions of the cutting device and the buffer device described above, the cutting buffer device includes a first frame 1, a first filament switching module 2, and a first filament buffer module 3.

[0152] The first frame 1 includes a first filament port 11 and a second filament port 12, the first filament port 11 is arranged at a first end a of the first frame 1, and the second filament port 12 is arranged at a second end b of the first frame 1; optionally, the number of the first filament ports 11 is at least two and may be specifically set according to actual needs.

[0153] The first filament switching module 2 is configured to switch and transfer a filament from the first filament port 11.

[0154] The first filament buffer module 3 is configured to make an adjustment according to transfer states of filaments in devices connected to the first filament port 11 and the second filament port 12 respectively, so as to ensure synchronous and stable transfer of the filaments, the first filament buffer module 3 includes a buffer chamber 31 arranged on the first frame 1, the buffer chamber 31 includes a first wall 311 and a second wall 312 that are oppositely arranged, and  the second wall 312 is configured to have a greater curvature than the first wall 311.

[0155] During use, when the transfer of filaments in upper-level and lower-level transfer devices of the cutting buffer device is asynchronous, the filaments are transferred through the first filament switching module 2 and then bent and buffered in the buffer chamber 31 of the first filament buffer module 3. The first filament buffer module 3 is provided to adjust and buffer asynchronous transfer between different transfer devices, thereby ensuring stable and synchronous transfer of the filaments and further ensuring stability and reliability of 3D printing.

[0156] It should be noted that in the embodiment of the present application, the upper level of the cutting buffer device is the loading and unloading device and the lower level thereof is the extruder of the print head. The first filament switching module 2 also includes a rotary base 223 and the rotary base 223 can record the rotation angle to measure the transfer length of the filament.

[0157] Further, the first filament buffer module 3 further includes a first detector switch 32 and a second detector switch 33; the first detector switch 32 and the second detector switch 33 are configured to detect whether the filament is proximate to the first wall 311 or the second wall 312, respectively; and the first detector switch 32 is arranged close to the first wall 311 while the second detector switch 33 is arranged at a point of maximum curvature on the second wall 312.

[0158] During use, when the filament is only detected at the first detector switch 32, it means that the filament is in the normal state and the current speed is maintained. When the filament is bent in the buffer chamber 31 and corresponds to the second detector switch 33, the second detector switch 33 is triggered to transmit a detection signal, indicating the sufficient filament state. At this time, the feeding speed is decreased or the extrusion speed is increased so that the feeding speed is lower than the extrusion speed and the filament is arranged corresponding to the first detector switch 32 to resume synchronous transfer. When the filament does not correspond to either the first detector switch 32 or the second detector switch 33, it indicates the filament shortage state. At this time, the feeding speed is increased or the extrusion speed is decreased so that the feeding speed is higher than the extrusion speed and the filament is arranged corresponding to the first detector switch 32 to resume synchronous transfer.

[0159] FIG. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of a cutting buffer device according to  another embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG. 6, specifically, the cutting buffer device includes a second frame 4, a second filament switching module 5, and a second filament buffer module 6.

[0160] The second frame 4 includes a third filament port 41 and a fourth filament port 42.

[0161] The second filament switching module 5 is configured to switch and transfer the filament from the third filament port 4.

[0162] The second filament buffer module 6 includes a first filament tube 61 arranged close to the third filament port 41, a second filament tube 62 slidably connected to the first filament tube 61, and an elastic connector 63 connected to the second filament tube 62.

[0163] When the filament drives the second filament tube 62 away from the first filament tube 61, the elastic connector 63 is configured to provide an elastic force to cause the second filament tube 62 to get to the first filament tube 61.

[0164] In the embodiment of the present application, the first filament tube 61 and the second filament tube 62 are arranged along a first direction x, the second filament tube 62 is sleeved on the first filament tube 61, the first filament tube 61 is fixedly connected to the second frame 4, the second frame 4 is provided with a guide groove 43 slidably fitting with the second filament tube 62, and the guide groove 43 is arranged along the first direction x. The second filament tube 62 moves along the first direction x between a first position and a second position, the first position is arranged close to the third filament port 41, and the second position is arranged away from the third filament port 41.

[0165] The second filament buffer module 6 further includes photoelectric sensors for detecting the position of the second filament tube 62; the photoelectric sensors include a first photoelectric sensor arranged close to the second filament switching module 5 and a second photoelectric sensor arranged far away from the second filament switching module 5. The first photoelectric sensor and the second photoelectric sensor are respectively arranged at two limiting displacement points of a first end a of the second filament tube 62 relative to the first filament tube 61.

[0166] During use, the device connected to the third filament port 41 of the cutting buffer  device is denoted as a first transfer device and the device connected to the fourth filament port 42 of the cutting buffer device is denoted as a second transfer device. When the transfer of filaments between the first transfer device and the second transfer device is asynchronous, the second filament tube 62 is driven by the filaments to be displaced relative to the first filament tube 61 according to the stress on the filaments to buffer the stress on the filaments.

[0167] Specifically, when the transfer speed of the filament in the first transfer device is lower than that of the filament in the second transfer device, the second filament tube 62 is forced to be displaced in a direction close to the first end a of the first filament tube 61, indicating the filament shortage state; when the transfer speed of the filament in the first transfer device is higher than that of the filament in the second transfer device, the second filament tube 62 is forced to be displaced in a direction away from the first end a of the first filament tube 61, indicating the sufficient filament state; and when the transfer speed of the filament in the first transfer device is equal to that of the filament in the second transfer device, it indicates the normal state.

[0168] When the first end a of the second filament tube 62 moves relative to the first filament tube 61 to the corresponding limiting displacement point, the first photoelectric sensor or the second photoelectric sensor transmits a detection signal, and the filament transfer speed of the first transfer device or the second transfer device is adjusted according to the detection signal. For example, when the filament shortage state is detected, the transfer speed of the first transfer device can be increased, or the transfer speed of the second transfer device can be decreased so that the feeding speed is higher than the extrusion speed of the printer; when the sufficient filament state is detected, the transfer speed of the first transfer device can be decreased, or the transfer speed of the second transfer device can be increased so that the feeding speed is lower than the extrusion speed of the printer; and when the normal state is detected, the current speed is maintained.

[0169] As an implementation manner, before the method of detecting the preset signal from each of the filament boxes, the method further includes: transmitting, according to a printing start signal, a state query request signal to each of the filament boxes; and detecting, according to a state response signal returned by each of the filament boxes, whether each of the filament boxes is normal.

[0170] In the embodiment of the present application, the multi-filament printing control system is connected to each of the filament boxes through an electrical signal interface to transmit a state query request signal to each of the filament boxes respectively. After receiving the state query request signal, each of the filament boxes queries the state from various sensors and controllers therein and returns it to the multi-filament printing control system. The printing control system determines whether each of the filament boxes is normal based on the state response signal returned by each of the filament boxes. After determining whether each of the filament boxes is normal, it then determines the number of filament boxes.

[0171] An embodiment of the present application further provides a 3D printing system, including at least one filament box, a printer, and a memory storing programs or instructions; and a processor implementing the multi-filament printing control method described above when executing the programs or instructions.

[0173] The above-mentioned processor may be a general-purpose processor, including a central processing unit (CPU) , a network processor (NP) , etc. ; and it may also be a digital signal processor (DSP) , an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) , a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) , or any other programmable logic device, discrete gate or transistor logic device, and discrete hardware component.

[0174] The embodiment is a printing system embodiment corresponding to the above-described method and its specific implementation process is the same as the above-described method embodiment. For details, reference may be made to the above-described method embodiment, which will not be elaborated again herein.
