[0009] Specifically, the present disclosure relates to the following aspects: [Aspect 1] A pant-type absorbent article comprising an absorbent main body having a longitudinal direction and a width direction and including an absorbent core, and an exterior body, wherein in an unfolded state, the pant-type absorbent article has the longitudinal direction, the width direction, and the thickness direction which are orthogonal to one another, and is partitioned into a front region located closer to the front end than the center of the longitudinal direction and a rear region located closer to the rear end than the center of the longitudinal direction, the pant-type absorbent article comprising a skin-contact sheet having a skin-contact surface and a counter sheet located opposite the skin-contact sheet, the pant-type absorbent article comprising an adhesive-placement region in which an adhesive is placed for joining the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet, and the pant-type absorbent article comprising, in the adhesive-placement region, an adhesion-reducing agent-placement region in which an adhesion-reducing agent that reduces the adhesion by the adhesive is placed.
[0010] The pants-type absorbent article includes an adhesive placement area in which an adhesive is applied to bond the skin-contact sheet and the opposing sheet, which prevents the skin-contact sheet and the opposing sheet from slipping, allowing the pants-type absorbent article to perform its functions. However, with typical pants-type absorbent articles, the skin in direct contact with the pants-type absorbent article can be itchy due to friction caused by rubbing against the skin-contact sheet of the pants-type absorbent article. The itchiness is particularly severe on the skin in contact with the skin-contact sheet, which is bonded to another component (e.g., the opposing sheet) in the adhesive placement area and is separated from the other components and therefore has little movement (little play), and tends to be more noticeable depending on the sleeping position, etc.
[0011] The pants-type absorbent article further includes an adhesion reducing agent placement region in a portion of the adhesive placement region, in which an adhesion reducing agent that reduces adhesive bonding is placed. Therefore, in the adhesion reducing agent placement region, the adhesion between the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet is reduced by the adhesion reducing agent, so that the skin-contact sheet separates from the counter sheet and moves more easily, and the wearer's skin separates from the counter sheet and can move together with the skin-contact sheet, making it less likely that the wearer will experience itching due to friction between the skin and the skin-contact sheet. As a result, the pants-type absorbent article makes it less likely that the wearer will experience itching in the adhesion reducing agent placement region.
[0012] [Aspect 2] The pants-type absorbent article according to Aspect 1, wherein the pants-type absorbent article does not include a volatile cooling sensation agent. Since the pants-type absorbent article does not include a predetermined cooling sensation agent, for example, in the skin-contact sheet, it is possible to prevent itching caused by the volatile cooling sensation agent irritating the wearer's skin.
[0013] [Aspect 3] The pants-type absorbent article according to Aspect 1 or 2, wherein the adhesion reducing agent-disposing region is disposed on the exterior body. In the pants-type absorbent article, since the adhesion reducing agent-disposing region is disposed on the exterior body, the wearer is less likely to experience itching in the adhesion reducing agent-disposing region of the exterior body.
[0014] [Aspect 4] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 3, wherein in the unfolded state, the bond reducer arrangement region is arranged further outward in the longitudinal direction than the absorbent main body.
[0015] Generally, the waist region of a pant-type absorbent article is an area that secures the pant-type absorbent article to the waist of a wearer, and tends to press against the wearer's skin, making the wearer particularly susceptible to itching in the waist region of the pant-type absorbent article. The itching tends to be more likely to occur in situations where body pressure is likely to be applied, such as when sleeping. In the above-mentioned pant-type absorbent article, the adhesion reducer arrangement region is arranged longitudinally outward of the absorbent main body, so that the wearer is less likely to experience itching in the adhesion reducer arrangement region that is longitudinally outward of the absorbent main body.
[0016] [Aspect 5] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 4, wherein in the unfolded state, the bond reducer arrangement region is arranged in a portion adjacent to at least one of both ends in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body.
[0017] Generally, the absorbent main body protrudes closer to the skin than the outer body, and therefore the outer edges of the absorbent main body, particularly the outer edges at both longitudinal ends, tend to irritate the wearer's skin and cause itching. In the pants-type absorbent article, the adhesion reducer arrangement region is arranged on the periphery of at least one of the longitudinal ends of the absorbent main body. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to experience itching in the adhesion reducer arrangement region in a portion adjacent to at least one of the longitudinal ends of the absorbent main body.
[0018] [Aspect 6] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 5, wherein in the unfolded state, the adhesion reducer placement region is placed in a portion adjacent to an outer edge of the absorbent main body.
[0019] Generally, the absorbent body protrudes closer to the skin than the outer body, and therefore the outer edge of the absorbent body tends to irritate the wearer's skin and cause itching. In the pants-type absorbent article, the adhesion reducer arrangement region is arranged in a portion adjacent to the outer edge of the absorbent body. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to experience itching in the adhesion reducer arrangement region in a portion adjacent to at least a part of the outer edge of the absorbent body.
[0020] [Aspect 7] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 6, wherein the pants-type absorbent article includes a pair of fastening parts that fasten the front region and the rear region, and in the unfolded state, the bonding reducer placement region is disposed between the pair of fastening parts of the outer body.
[0021] Generally, the waist region of a pant-type absorbent article is an area that secures the pant-type absorbent article to the waist of a wearer, and tends to press against the wearer's skin, making the wearer particularly susceptible to itching in the waist region of the pant-type absorbent article. The itching tends to be more likely to occur in situations where body pressure is likely to be applied, such as when sleeping. In the above-mentioned pant-type absorbent article, the adhesion reducing agent placement area is located at a predetermined position, so that the wearer is less likely to experience itching in the adhesion reducing agent placement area of the waist region.
[0022] [Aspect 8] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 7, wherein in the unfolded state, the exterior body has a three or more sheet region composed of three or more sheets in the thickness direction, and the bonding reducer placement region is placed in the three or more sheet region.
[0023] Generally, in pants-type absorbent articles, the greater the number of outer layers, the more likely the area is to become stuffy and to experience itching. In the pants-type absorbent article, the adhesion-reducing agent-disposed area is disposed in an area with three or more sheets. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to experience itching in the adhesion-reducing agent-disposed area within the area with three or more sheets, where itching is likely to occur.
[0024] [Aspect 9] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 8, wherein in the unfolded state, the outer cover comprises a widthwise elastic region comprising an elastic member stretchable in the width direction, and the bonding reducer arrangement region is arranged in the widthwise elastic region.
[0025] Generally, in pants-type absorbent articles, the higher the contractile force of the elastic members, the more likely it is that the wearer will experience itching when wearing the article. In the pants-type absorbent article, the adhesion reducing agent placement region is placed in a predetermined widthwise elastic region. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to experience itching in the adhesion reducing agent placement region in the widthwise elastic region where itching is likely to occur.
[0026] [Aspect 10] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 9, wherein in the unfolded state, the outer casing comprises a widthwise elastic region having an elastic member stretchable in the width direction, and a widthwise inelastic region that does not have an elastic member stretchable in the width direction and is disposed closer to the center in the longitudinal direction than the widthwise elastic region, and the bonding reducer-disposed region is disposed in the widthwise inelastic region.
[0027] Generally, in pants-type absorbent articles, regions closer to the longitudinal center (e.g., the crotch region) tend to be itchy. In the pants-type absorbent article, the adhesion reducing agent placement region is placed in a predetermined widthwise inelastic region. The predetermined widthwise inelastic region is placed closer to the longitudinal center. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to experience itching in the adhesion reducing agent placement region within the widthwise inelastic region where itching is likely to occur.
[0028] [Aspect 11] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 10, wherein in the unfolded state, the bond reducer arrangement region is arranged in a region that does not overlap with the absorbent main body in the thickness direction.
[0029] In the pants-type absorbent article, the bond reducer arrangement region is arranged in a region of the outer body that does not overlap with the absorbent main body in the thickness direction, so that the bond between the outer body and the absorbent main body is less likely to be reduced, allowing the pants-type absorbent article to perform its functions.
[0030] [Aspect 12] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 11, wherein the bond reducer placement region is placed in the absorbent main body.
[0031] Generally, in pants-type absorbent articles, the absorbent main body protrudes from the outer body toward the skin, and therefore the wearer tends to experience itching in the area of the skin that comes into contact with the absorbent main body when wearing the article. In the pants-type absorbent article described above, the absorbent main body is disposed on the absorbent main body, and therefore the wearer is less likely to experience itching when wearing the pants-type absorbent article.
[0032] [Aspect 13] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 12, wherein the adhesion reducer is an oily component. In the pants-type absorbent article, since the adhesion reducer is an oily component, body fluids can easily slide from the skin-contact sheet through the opposing sheet to the absorbent core, thereby suppressing leakage of body fluids. Furthermore, as a result of suppressing leakage of body fluids, the wearer is less likely to experience itching caused by body fluids.
[0033] [Aspect 14] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 13, wherein in the unfolded state, the pants-type absorbent article is partitioned into a ventral region, a crotch region, and a dorsal region, and in the unfolded state, the adhesion reducer placement region is placed in the crotch region of the absorbent main body.
[0034] Generally, in pants-type absorbent articles, the wearer tends to experience itching in the crotch region. In the pants-type absorbent article, the adhesion reducer arrangement region is arranged in the crotch region of the absorbent main body. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to experience itching in the adhesion reducer arrangement region in the crotch region where itching is likely to occur.
[0035] Aspect 15: The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 14, wherein in the unfolded state, the absorbent main body is partitioned into a longitudinal central region located in the center of the longitudinal direction, a longitudinal front region and a longitudinal rear region located respectively near the front end and the rear end in the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal central region, and also into a widthwise central region located in the center of the width direction, and widthwise side regions located on both sides outside the widthwise central region, and wherein in the unfolded state, the bonding reducer placement regions are located in the longitudinal central region and the widthwise central region of the absorbent main body.
[0036] Generally, in absorbent articles, including pants-type absorbent articles, the wearer tends to experience itching around the excretory opening. In the above-mentioned pants-type absorbent article, the adhesion reducing agent placement region is placed in the longitudinal central region and the width central region of the absorbent main body. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to experience itching around the excretory opening, where itching is likely to occur.
[0037] [Aspect 16] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 15, wherein in the unfolded state, the adhesive-disposing regions are disposed in the longitudinal front region, the longitudinal rear region, and the widthwise side regions of the absorbent main body, and the bond-reducing agent-disposing regions are not disposed in the longitudinal rear region or the widthwise side regions of the absorbent main body.
[0038] In the above-mentioned pants-type absorbent article, the adhesive placement regions are located in the longitudinal front region, longitudinal rear region, and widthwise side region of the absorbent main body, while the bond reducer placement regions are not located in the longitudinal rear region and widthwise side region of the absorbent main body. Therefore, the absorbent main body is more likely to maintain its structure in the longitudinal front region, longitudinal rear region, and widthwise side region. The rear region of a pants-type absorbent article is prone to body pressure, particularly in a sleeping position, while a gap is likely to form between the gluteal cleft of the buttocks and the absorbent main body. Therefore, by maintaining its structure in the longitudinal rear region and widthwise side region of the absorbent main body, the absorbent main body is more likely to perform its function.
[0039] [Aspect 17] A pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 16, wherein in the unfolded state, the adhesion reducer placement area is placed on the absorbent main body in the front region and the rear region, and the adhesive placement area is placed on the absorbent main body in the rear region, and the area of the adhesion reducer placement area on the absorbent main body in the rear region is smaller than the area of the adhesion reducer placement area on the absorbent main body in the front region and is also smaller than the area of the adhesive placement area on the absorbent main body in the rear region.
[0040] In the pants-type absorbent article, the area of the adhesion reducer arrangement region in the absorbent main body in the rear region is smaller than the area of the adhesion reducer arrangement region in the absorbent main body in the front region and is also smaller than the area of the adhesive arrangement region in the absorbent main body in the rear region. Therefore, in the absorbent main body in the front region, the wearer is less likely to experience itching around the excretory opening, which is prone to itching, and in the absorbent main body in the rear region, the area of the adhesive arrangement region that does not have the adhesion reducer arrangement region prevents the skin-contact sheet from separating from the opposing sheet, thereby preventing leakage.
[0041] [Aspect 18] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 17, wherein the pants-type absorbent article is provided with an elastic member arrangement region that is disposed on the non-skin side of the absorbent core and in which elastic members are arranged in the longitudinal direction from the front region to the rear region, and in the unfolded state, the bond reducer arrangement region and the elastic member arrangement region overlap in the thickness direction.
[0042] The pants-type absorbent article has a predetermined elastic member arrangement region, and therefore when worn, the absorbent main body is deformed so that the portion where the elastic member is present is convex toward the wearer, thereby fitting closely to the wearer and suppressing leakage. Furthermore, the absorbent main body of the pants-type absorbent article has a bond reducer arrangement region that overlaps the elastic member arrangement region in the thickness direction, so that the absorbent main body is in close contact with the wearer and can suppress itching in areas that are prone to itching.
[0043] [Aspect 19] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 18, wherein in the unfolded state, the absorbent main body has a compression section that compresses the absorbent core from the non-skin side in an area that overlaps in the thickness direction with the bond reducer arrangement area and the elastic member arrangement area, and the compression section extends in the longitudinal direction at the center in the width direction of the absorbent core.
[0044] Generally, pants-type absorbent articles that have a specified compression section deform so that the compression section becomes convex toward the wearer, making it easier for the absorbent body to come into contact with the wearer's skin and reducing the risk of leakage. However, the convex part of the absorbent body can easily rub against the wearer's skin, which can cause itching in some cases.
[0045] In the pants-type absorbent article, the predetermined compressed portions are arranged in an area that overlaps the adhesion reducer area and the elastic member area in the thickness direction. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to experience itching at the convex portions of the absorbent main body due to friction with the skin-contact sheet. Furthermore, if the adhesion reducer is an oily component, the convex portions of the absorbent main body are more likely to come into contact with the wearer's skin, making it easier for body fluids to slide from the skin-contact sheet through the opposing sheet and into the absorbent core, thereby suppressing leakage of body fluids. As a result of suppressing leakage of body fluids, the wearer is less likely to experience itching caused by body fluids.
[0046] [Aspect 20] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 19, wherein in the unfolded state, the absorbent core has an absorbent core low basis weight region having a basis weight less than the average basis weight of the absorbent core in an area that overlaps in the thickness direction with the bond reducer arrangement area and the elastic member arrangement area, and the absorbent core low basis weight region is located at the center in the width direction of the absorbent core and extends in the longitudinal direction.
[0047] Generally, in pants-type absorbent articles that have a predetermined low basis weight region of the absorbent core, the low basis weight region of the absorbent core deforms so that it becomes convex toward the wearer, making it easier for the absorbent body to come into contact with the wearer's skin and reducing the risk of leakage of bodily fluids. However, the convex part of the absorbent body makes it easier for the absorbent body to rub against the wearer's skin, which can cause itching in some cases.
[0048] In the pants-type absorbent article, the predetermined low-basis-weight region of the absorbent core is disposed in a region that overlaps with the adhesion reducer region and the elastic member region in the thickness direction. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to experience itching at the convex portions of the absorbent main body due to friction with the skin-contact sheet. Furthermore, if the adhesion reducer is an oily component, the convex portions of the absorbent main body are more likely to come into contact with the wearer's skin, which makes it easier for bodily fluids to slide from the skin-contact sheet through the opposing sheet and into the absorbent core, thereby suppressing leakage of bodily fluids. As a result of suppressing leakage of bodily fluids, the wearer is less likely to experience itching caused by bodily fluids.
[0049] [Aspect 21] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 20, wherein the absorbent main body includes a pair of compression sections that compress the skin-contact sheet, the opposing sheet, and the absorbent core and extend in the longitudinal direction, and the bond reducer-disposed region is disposed between the pair of compression sections of the absorbent main body.
[0050] Generally, in pants-type absorbent articles that include a pair of compression sections, the pair of compression sections allows the absorbent main body to fit the wearer's body more easily when worn. However, the portion of the absorbent main body between the pair of compression sections is more likely to rub against the wearer's skin, making them more susceptible to itching. In the above pants-type absorbent article, the adhesion reducer placement region is located between the pair of compression sections of the absorbent main body. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to experience itching caused by rubbing against the skin-contact sheet. Furthermore, when the adhesion reducer is an oily component, it makes it easier for bodily fluids to slide from the skin-contact sheet through the opposing sheet to the absorbent core, suppressing leakage of bodily fluids. As a result of suppressing leakage of bodily fluids, the wearer is less likely to experience itching caused by bodily fluids.
[0051] [Aspect 22] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 21, wherein in the unfolded state, the absorbent main body has a plurality of ridge portions that protrude toward the skin and extend in the width direction, and the adhesion reducer placement region is placed in the plurality of ridge portions.
[0052] The pants-type absorbent article has a plurality of ridges, which allows it to easily conform to the wearer's body when worn. In addition, in the pants-type absorbent article, the adhesion reducing agent placement area is arranged in the plurality of ridges, which can suppress itching in the plurality of ridges that tend to cause itching in the wearer.
[0053] [Mode 23] In the unfolded state, the absorbent main body is partitioned into a longitudinal central region located in the center in the longitudinal direction, a longitudinal front region and a longitudinal rear region located respectively near the front end and the rear end in the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal central region, and also into a widthwise central region located in the center in the width direction and widthwise side regions located on both sides of the widthwise central region, the adhesion reducer arrangement region is located in the longitudinal central region and the widthwise central region, in the adhesion reducer arrangement region, the skin contact sheet has a skin contact sheet adhesion reducer low basis weight region having a basis weight of the adhesion reducer lower than the average basis weight of the adhesion reducer in the skin contact sheet, and in the adhesion reducer arrangement region, the absorbent core has an absorbent core adhesion reducer high basis weight region having a basis weight of the adhesion reducer higher than the average basis weight of the adhesion reducer in the absorbent core, Aspect 23. The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 22, wherein in the unfolded state, the skin-contact sheet bond-reducing agent low basis weight region and the absorbent core bond-reducing agent high basis weight region overlap in the thickness direction.
[0054] The pants-type absorbent article has a low basis weight region of skin-contact sheet bond reducer and a high basis weight region of absorbent core bond reducer that overlap in the thickness direction in the longitudinal central region and the width central region. In the low basis weight region of skin-contact sheet bond reducer, the bond reducer reduces the bond between the skin-contact sheet and the opposing sheet relatively slightly, making the bond between the skin-contact sheet and the opposing sheet less likely to come apart during storage of the pants-type absorbent article, particularly during transportation, and making it easier for the absorbent main body to perform its function when the pants-type absorbent article is worn, particularly immediately after wearing.
[0055] Next, when the adhesion reducer is an oily component, when the pants-type absorbent article is worn, particularly when pressure such as body pressure is applied, the oily component as adhesion reducer moves from the high basis weight region of the absorbent core adhesion reducer, which is arranged in a position overlapping with the low basis weight region of the skin-contact sheet adhesion reducer in the thickness direction, to the low basis weight region of the skin-contact sheet adhesion reducer of the skin-contact sheet, allowing body fluids that have reached the skin-contact sheet to slide down to the absorbent core.
[0056] [Aspect 24] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 23, wherein the absorbent main body includes an absorbent core high basis weight portion in the absorbent core having a basis weight higher than the average basis weight of the absorbent core, and in the unfolded state, the skin-contact sheet bond-reducing agent low basis weight region and the absorbent core bond-reducing agent high basis weight region overlap in the thickness direction in the absorbent core high basis weight portion.
[0057] In the pants-type absorbent article, the low basis weight region of the skin-contact sheet bond reducer and the high basis weight region of the absorbent core bond reducer overlap in the thickness direction in the high basis weight part of the absorbent core. Therefore, the effect of Aspect 23 can be more easily achieved.
[0058] [Aspect 25] The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 24, wherein the pants-type absorbent article is folded at a folding portion, and in the unfolded state, the skin-contact sheet bond-reducing agent low basis weight region and the absorbent core bond-reducing agent high basis weight region overlap in the thickness direction at the folding portion.
[0059] Generally, in the folded portion of a pant-type absorbent article, the materials constituting the pant-type absorbent article tend to stretch, curl, and the like, resulting in a decrease in the bonding between the materials. In the above-mentioned pant-type absorbent article, the low-basis-weight region of the skin-contact sheet bonding reducer and the high-basis-weight region of the absorbent core bonding reducer overlap in the thickness direction at the folded portion. Therefore, by overlapping the low-basis-weight region of the skin-contact sheet bonding reducer and the high-basis-weight region of the absorbent core in the thickness direction at the folded portion, the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet are more strongly bonded in the low-basis-weight region of the skin-contact sheet bonding reducer compared to a portion not having the low-basis-weight region of the skin-contact sheet bonding reducer. If desired, the skin-contact sheet and the absorbent core are indirectly bonded more strongly, which reduces the inhibition of absorption of bodily fluids. Furthermore, as a result of the reduced inhibition of absorption of bodily fluids, the wearer is less likely to experience itching.
[0060] Aspect 26: The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 25, wherein the absorbent main body is folded by three folding portions extending in the width direction and is partitioned by the three folding portions into four regions arranged in the longitudinal direction, including two end regions arranged at both ends in the longitudinal direction and two central regions therebetween; and wherein the absorbent main body in the unfolded state satisfies either of the following (i) or (ii): (i) each of the two end regions and the two central regions has the adhesion reducing agent arrangement region, and the two end regions have a smaller basis weight of the adhesion reducing agent than the two central regions; or (ii) each of the two central regions has the adhesion reducing agent arrangement region, but neither of the two end regions has the adhesion reducing agent arrangement region.
[0061] Generally, when a pants-type absorbent article is divided into four regions, two end regions and two central regions, by three folding portions extending in the width direction, the two end regions come into contact with flat parts of the wearer's body, which can cause problems such as discomfort to the wearer and a tendency for leakage to occur.
[0062] In the pants-type absorbent article, the two end regions contain a small amount of or no adhesion reducer. Therefore, in case (i), the adhesion reducer suppresses excessive reduction in the adhesion between the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet, preventing them from separating, while suppressing itching in the wearer. Therefore, in case (ii), the adhesion reducer does not reduce the adhesion between the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet, allowing leaked body fluid to be absorbed from the skin-contact sheet through the counter sheet into the absorbent core.
[0063] A pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure will be described in detail below. [First Embodiment] Figures 1 to 6 are diagrams illustrating a pants-type absorbent article according to one embodiment of the present disclosure (hereinafter referred to as the "first embodiment"), specifically a shorts-type napkin 1. The absorbent body 3 has a rectangular shape with a longitudinal direction L and a width direction W. The absorbent body 3 and the exterior body 5 are fixed to the exterior body 5 by an inter-body joint 131 made of hot melt adhesive.
[0066] In its unfolded state, the shorts-type napkin 1 has a longitudinal direction L and a width direction W that originate from the absorbent main body 3, and a thickness direction T that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L and the width direction W. The thickness direction T is divided into an inward direction (not shown) that is the direction toward the wearer's skin, and an outward direction (not shown) that is the direction toward the non-skin side. Note that the longitudinal direction L and the width direction W refer to the long and short directions of the absorbent main body 3, respectively, and do not refer to the long and short directions of the shorts-type napkin 1 in its unfolded state.
[0067] In its unfolded state, the shorts-type napkin 1 is divided by a longitudinal centerline LC extending in the width direction W at the center of the longitudinal direction L of the shorts-type napkin 1 into a front region 7 located closer to a front end 11 than the longitudinal centerline LC and a rear region 9 located closer to a rear end 13 than the longitudinal centerline LC. The front end 11 and the rear end 13 refer to the edge on the front region 7 side and the edge on the rear region 9 side, respectively, which define the waist opening 101.
[0068] In its unfolded state, the shorts-type napkin 1 has three folded portions arranged at approximately equal intervals in the longitudinal direction L from the front end 11 to the rear end 13 and extending in the width direction W, namely, in order from the front end 11 side, a first folded portion F1, a second folded portion F2, and a third folded portion F3. The longitudinal center line LC constitutes the second folded portion F2.
[0069] Furthermore, in the unfolded state, the shorts-type napkin 1 is divided into a ventral region 15, a crotch region 17, and a back region 19 by dividing lines (not shown) extending parallel to the width direction W from the front end 11 to the back end 13. The ventral region 15 is the region of the front region 7 that is fastened by a pair of fastening parts 105, the back region 19 is the region of the back region 9 that is fastened by a pair of fastening parts 105, and the crotch region 17 is the region between the ventral region 15 and the back region 19.
[0070] The exterior body 5 includes a first exterior sheet 111 that extends from the front region 7 to the rear region 9 and is positioned on the non-skin side, a ventral-side second exterior sheet 113a that extends into the front region 7 and is positioned on the skin side, and a dorsal-side second exterior sheet 113b that extends into the rear region 9 and is positioned on the skin side. Each of the first exterior sheet 111, the ventral-side second exterior sheet 113a, and the dorsal-side second exterior sheet 113b is made of a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric.
[0071] The ventral-side second outer sheet 113a is disposed on the skin side of the first outer sheet 111 in the thickness direction T, and is disposed in the longitudinal direction L from the front end 11 that defines the waist-opening 101 to just before the longitudinal center line LC. In addition, the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a is disposed in the width direction W from one locking portion 105a to the other locking portion 105b.
[0072] The back-side second outer sheet 113b is disposed on the skin side of the first outer sheet 111 in the thickness direction T, and is disposed in the longitudinal direction L from the rear end 13 that defines the waist-opening 101 to just before the longitudinal center line LC. In addition, the back-side second outer sheet 113b is disposed in the width direction W from one locking portion 105a to the other locking portion 105b.
[0073] The first outer sheet 111 is folded inward at the front end 11 and the rear end 13, covering the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a and the dorsal-side second outer sheet 113b, respectively. In the unfolded state, the outer body 5 is partitioned into a single-sheet region 51 consisting of a single sheet (i.e., the first outer sheet 111) and a multiple-sheet region 53 consisting of multiple sheets (i.e., the first outer sheet 111 and the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a or the dorsal-side second outer sheet 113b). The single-sheet region 51 is arranged from the front region 7 to the rear region 9, straddling the longitudinal centerline LC. The multiple-sheet region 53 is arranged in each of the front region 7 and the rear region 9.
[0074] In the unfolded state, in the multiple-sheet region 53 of the front region 7, a plurality of ventral-side elastic members 115 are arranged between the first outer sheet 111 and the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a, extending from one engaging portion 105a to the other engaging portion 105b and spaced apart in the longitudinal direction L. The plurality of ventral-side elastic members 115 are joined to the first outer sheet 111 and the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a by an inter-outer-sheet adhesive layer (not shown) made of hot melt adhesive in a state in which they are stretched relative to the first outer sheet 111 and the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a.
[0075] In the unfolded state, in the multiple-sheet region 53 of the rear region 9, a plurality of back-side elastic members 117 are arranged between the first outer sheet 111 and the back-side second outer sheet 113b, extending from one locking portion 105a to the other locking portion 105b or from one leg opening 103a to the other leg opening 103b, and spaced apart in the longitudinal direction L. In addition, in the unfolded state, the multiple-sheet region 53 of the rear region 9 is provided with three rear leg elastic members 119 arranged between the first outer sheet 111 and the back-side second outer sheet 113b, extending from one locking portion 105a through one leg opening 103a and the other leg opening 103b to the other locking portion 105b, overlapping with the absorbent main body 3 and curved to protrude toward the longitudinal center line LC.
[0076] The multiple back elastic members 117 and the three rear leg elastic members 119 are joined to the first outer sheet 111 and the ventral second outer sheet 113a by inner outer sheet joints 133 made of hot melt adhesive while being stretched relative to the first outer sheet 111 and the back second outer sheet 113b.
[0077] The absorbent body 3 comprises, in the thickness direction T, a top sheet 21 having a skin-contacting surface 23a and a non-skin-contacting surface 23b, a second sheet 25, an absorbent core 27a, a liquid-impermeable sheet 29, an elastic member 31, and a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet 35, in that order. The absorbent core 27a is arranged together with a core wrap 27b that covers the absorbent core 27a as an absorber 27. The absorbent core 27a is hourglass-shaped and has a pair of constricted portions 27c that are constricted in the width direction W.
[0078] The top sheet 21 and the second sheet 25 correspond to a skin-contacting sheet having a skin-contacting surface and an opposing sheet disposed opposite the skin-contacting sheet, respectively. The absorbent main body 3 has an adhesive placement region 123 in which a skin-contacting sheet joining section 121 made of hot melt adhesive is arranged, for joining the top sheet 21 and the second sheet 25, in a region overlapping with the second sheet 25 in the thickness direction T.
[0079] The absorbent body 3 has a compression section 37 that compresses the top sheet 21, the second sheet 25, and the absorbent body 27 (absorbent core 27a and core wrap 27b), and the compression section 37 has a rabbit design. The core wrap 27b, which is disposed between the absorbent core 27a and the liquid-impermeable sheet 29, is joined to the absorbent core 27a by an adhesive layer (not shown) made of hot-melt adhesive. In addition, the core wrap 27b, which is disposed between the absorbent core 27a and the liquid-impermeable sheet 29, is joined to the liquid-impermeable sheet 29 by a core wrap joining section 135 made of hot-melt adhesive.
[0080] The absorbent core 27a has a peaked portion 39 extending in the longitudinal direction L at the center of the width direction W. The peaked portion 39 is taller than the remaining portions of the absorbent core 27a and is a high-basis-weight portion having a basis weight higher than the average basis weight of the absorbent core 27a. This makes it easier for the peaked portion 39 of the absorbent core 27a to abut against the wearer's excretory opening, intergluteal cleft, etc. The core wrap 27b is folded inward in three along two fold lines extending parallel to the longitudinal direction L to cover the absorbent core 27a. At the skin side of the absorbent core 27a and at the center of the width direction W, the core wrap 27b overlaps two layers in the thickness direction T and has a multi-layer overlap region 55 extending in the longitudinal direction L.
[0081] The top sheet 21 is arranged to cover the second sheet 25 and absorber 27 (absorbent core 27a and core wrap 27b), and is joined to the liquid-impermeable sheet 29 with a hot melt adhesive. The liquid-impermeable sheet 29 is made of a moisture-permeable perforated film. The liquid-impermeable sheet 29 stands up together with leakage barriers 43 (described below) and protects the sides of the liquid-impermeable sheet 29. The hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet 35 is made of a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric.
[0082] The elastic member 31 is composed of five thread-like elastic members, and the five thread-like elastic members define an elastic member distribution region 33. The five thread-like elastic members are arranged to extend along the longitudinal direction L from the front region 7 to the rear region 9, specifically, from the multiple-sheet region 53 in the front region 7, through the single-sheet region 51 in the front region 7 and the single-sheet region 51 in the rear region 9, to the multiple-sheet region 53 in the rear region 9. The five thread-like elastic members constituting the elastic member 31 are arranged at regular intervals in the width direction W. The elastic member 31 is joined to the liquid-impermeable sheet 29 and the hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet 35 by film-to-nonwoven fabric joints 137 made of a hot melt adhesive, with the five thread-like elastic members stretched relative to the liquid-impermeable sheet 29 and the hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet 35. The elastic member 31 is a member for making it easier for the absorbent main body 3, and in turn the absorbent core 27a, to come into contact with the excretory portion of the wearer.
[0083] In Figure 6, the elastic member 31 is shown as being arranged on the liquid-impermeable sheet 29 side, and the film-to-nonwoven fabric joint 137 is shown as being arranged on the hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet 35 side, but in reality, the film-to-nonwoven fabric joint 137 bonds the elastic member 31 from the liquid-impermeable sheet 29 side and the hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet 35 side.
[0084] At each end of the width direction W of the hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet 35, the sheet is folded twice, once inward and once outward, along two fold lines extending parallel to the longitudinal direction L to form leakage barriers 43, and a pair of leakage barrier walls 43 is formed at each end of the width direction W of the hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet 35. Each of the pair of leakage barrier walls 43 includes two leakage barrier wall elastic members 45 that, in the unfolded state, extend in the longitudinal direction L from the multiple-sheet region 53 in the front region 7, through the single-sheet region 51 in the front region 7 and the rear region 9, to the multiple-sheet region 53 in the rear region 9. Each of the two leakage barrier wall elastic members 45 is joined to the leakage barrier wall 43 (hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet 35) with a hot melt adhesive while being stretched relative to the leakage barrier wall 43 (hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet 35). The pair of leakage barriers 43 are made of the same hydrophobic nonwoven fabric that forms the hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet 35, and are hydrophobic. When worn, the barriers 43 stand up from the absorbent body 3 to prevent leakage of menstrual blood.
[0085] The absorbent main body 3 is provided with an adhesion reducing agent placement region 41 in which an adhesion reducing agent that reduces the bonding between the top sheet 21 and the second sheet 25 at the skin-contacting sheet joint 121 (joined by hot melt adhesive) is placed on the non-skin-contacting surface 23b of the top sheet 21 in a portion of the adhesive placement region 123. Note that in the unfolded state, the adhesion reducing agent placement region 41 is placed in a portion of the adhesive placement region 123, specifically in the crotch region 17 from the front region 7 to the rear region 9. This makes it less likely that the wearer will experience itching in the adhesion reducing agent placement region 41 in the crotch region 17, where it is likely to cause itching. Furthermore, as a result of suppressing leakage of bodily fluids, the wearer will be less likely to experience itching caused by bodily fluids.
[0086] The adhesive reducing agent is composed of an oily component, which allows bodily fluids to easily slide from the top sheet 21 through the second sheet 25 to the absorbent core 27a, thereby preventing leakage of bodily fluids.
[0087] In the unfolded state, the absorbent main body 3 is partitioned into a longitudinal central region 63 located in the center in the longitudinal direction L, a longitudinal front region 65a located closer to the front end 11 than the longitudinal central region 63, and a longitudinal rear region 65b located closer to the rear end 13 than the longitudinal central region 63. In addition, in the unfolded state, the absorbent main body 3 is partitioned into a widthwise central region 67 located in the center in the width direction W, and widthwise side regions 69 located on both sides of the widthwise central region 67. In the unfolded state, the bond reducer placement regions 41 are placed in the longitudinal central region 63 and the widthwise central region 67 of the absorbent main body 3. This makes it less likely that the wearer will experience itching around the excretory opening, which is prone to itching.
[0088] In the unfolded state, the adhesive-disposing region 123 is disposed in the longitudinal front region 65a, the longitudinal rear region 65b, and the widthwise side regions 69 of the absorbent main body 3, while the bond-reducing agent-disposing region 41 is not disposed in the longitudinal rear region 65b or the widthwise side regions 69 of the absorbent main body 3. This allows the top sheet 21 and the second sheet 25 to be bonded in the longitudinal rear region 65b and the widthwise side regions 69 of the absorbent main body 3, making it easier for the absorbent main body 3 to maintain its structure in the longitudinal rear region 65b and the widthwise side regions 69, and making it easier for the absorbent main body 3 to perform its functions. The rear region 9 of the shorts-type napkin 1 is susceptible to body pressure, particularly when sleeping, but a gap is also likely to form between the gluteal cleft of the buttocks and the absorbent main body 3. Therefore, by maintaining the structure in the longitudinal rear region 65b and the widthwise side regions 69 of the absorbent main body 3, the absorbent main body 3 can more easily perform its functions.
[0089] In the unfolded state, the adhesion reducer placement area 41 is arranged in the absorbent body 3 in the front region 7 and the absorbent body 3 in the rear region 9, and the adhesive placement area 123 is arranged in the absorbent body 3 in the front region 7 and the absorbent body 3 in the rear region 9, and the area of the adhesion reducer placement area 41 in the absorbent body 3 in the rear region 9 is smaller than the area of the adhesion reducer placement area 41 in the absorbent body 3 in the front region 7 and smaller than the area of the adhesive placement area 123 in the absorbent body 3 in the rear region 9.
[0090] As a result, in the absorbent main body 3 in the front region 7, the wearer is less likely to experience itching around the excretory opening, which is a region where itching is common, and in the absorbent main body 3 in the rear region 9, the portion of the adhesive placement region 123 that does not correspond to the bonding reducer placement region 41, i.e., the portion where the top sheet 21 and the second sheet 25 are bonded, prevents the top sheet 21 from separating from the second sheet 25, thereby preventing leakage.
[0091] In the unfolded state, the bond reducing agent placement region 41 and the elastic member placement region 33 of the elastic member 31 overlap in the thickness direction T. Furthermore, in the unfolded state, of the five thread-like elastic members that make up the elastic member 31, the central three overlap the bond reducing agent placement region 41 in the thickness direction T. As a result, when worn, the absorbent main body 3 is deformed so that the portion where the elastic member 31 is present is convex toward the wearer, thereby making it possible to fit closely to the wearer and suppress leakage. Furthermore, since the absorbent main body 3 has the bond reducing agent placement region 41 that overlaps with the elastic member placement region 33 in the thickness direction, the absorbent main body 3 fits closely to the wearer and can suppress itching in areas that are prone to itching.
[0092] The compressed portions 37, excluding the rabbit ear portions, form a pair of left and right compressed portions extending in the longitudinal direction L, and the bonding reducer placement region 41 is placed between the pair of compressed portions in the absorbent main body 3. This makes it less likely for the wearer to experience itching, and also makes it easier for bodily fluids to slide from the top sheet 21 through the second sheet 25 to the absorbent core 27a, thereby suppressing leakage of bodily fluids.
[0093] The absorbent body 3 has a plurality of ridges (not shown) in the crotch region 17 that protrude toward the skin and extend in the width direction W, and the adhesion reducer placement regions 41 are located in the plurality of ridges. This allows the shorts-type napkin 1 to easily conform to the wearer's body when worn, and since the adhesion reducer placement regions 41 are located in the plurality of ridges, it is possible to suppress itching in the plurality of ridges that are likely to cause itching in the wearer.
[0094] In the adhesion reducing agent placement region 41, the top sheet 21, which is the skin-contacting sheet, is provided with a skin-contacting sheet low-basis weight region (not shown) having a basis weight of the adhesion reducing agent lower than the average basis weight of the adhesion reducing agent in the top sheet 21. Also, in the adhesion reducing agent placement region 41, the absorbent core 27a is provided with an absorbent core high-basis weight region (not shown) having a basis weight of the adhesion reducing agent higher than the average basis weight of the adhesion reducing agent in the absorbent core 27a. In the unfolded state, the skin-contacting sheet low-basis weight region and the absorbent core high-basis weight region of the adhesion reducing agent overlap in the thickness direction T.
[0095] This makes it difficult for the top sheet 21 and the second sheet 25 to come apart when the shorts-type napkin 1 is stored, particularly when it is transported, etc., and the absorbent main body 3 is more likely to perform its function when the shorts-type napkin 1 is worn, particularly immediately after wearing. Furthermore, when the shorts-type napkin 1 is worn, particularly when body pressure is applied, the oily component acting as an adhesion reducer moves from the absorbent core adhesion reducer high basis weight region, which is arranged in a position overlapping the skin-contact sheet adhesion reducer low basis weight region in the thickness direction, to the skin-contact sheet adhesion reducer low basis weight region of the top sheet 21, allowing bodily fluid that has reached the top sheet 21 to slide down to the absorbent core 27a.
[0096] In the unfolded state, the low basis weight region of the skin-contact sheet bond reducer and the high basis weight region of the absorbent core bond reducer overlap in the thickness direction T at the center-height portion 39, which is the high basis weight portion of the absorbent core 27a. This makes it difficult for the top sheet 21 and the second sheet 25 to come apart during storage of the shorts-type napkin 1, and makes it easier for the absorbent main body 3 to perform its function when the shorts-type napkin 1 is worn, particularly immediately after wearing. Furthermore, when the shorts-type napkin 1 is worn, particularly when body pressure is applied, bodily fluids that have reached the top sheet 21 can slide down to the absorbent core 27a.
[0097] In the unfolded state, the low basis weight region of the skin-contact sheet bond reducer and the high basis weight region of the absorbent core bond reducer overlap in the thickness direction T at a folded portion (not shown) including the longitudinal centerline LC. This results in the top sheet 21 and the second sheet 25 being bonded together at the folded portion, making it less likely that absorption of bodily fluids will be hindered. Furthermore, as a result of the less hindered absorption of bodily fluids, the wearer will be less likely to experience itching.
[0098] As described above, the shorts-type napkin 1 has three folded portions, namely, the first folded portion F1, the second folded portion F2, and the third folded portion F3, extending in the width direction W. These three folded portions divide the absorbent main body 3 into four regions arranged in the longitudinal direction L: two end regions arranged at both ends in the longitudinal direction L (a region from the front end 11 to the first folded portion F1, and a region from the third folded portion F3 to the rear end 13), and two central regions therebetween (a region extending from the first folded portion F1, through the second folded portion F2, to the third folded portion F3).
[0099] The region of the absorbent body 3 from the first folded portion F1, through the second folded portion F2, to the third folded portion F3 has the bond reducer arrangement region 41, but the region from the front end 11 to the first folded portion F1 and the region from the third folded portion F3 to the rear end 13 do not have the bond reducer arrangement region 41. This allows body fluid that has leaked through the region from the front end 11 to the first folded portion F1 and the region from the third folded portion F3 to the rear end 13 to be absorbed by the absorbent core 27a from the top sheet 21 through the second sheet 25.
[0100] [Second embodiment] Figures 7 to 10 are diagrams illustrating a pants-type absorbent article, specifically a shorts-type napkin 1, according to another embodiment of the present disclosure (hereinafter referred to as "second embodiment"). Specifically, Figures 7 and 8 correspond to Figures 2 and 3 of the first embodiment, respectively. Figure 9 is an end view taken along line IX-IX in Figure 7. Figure 10 is an end view taken along line X-X in Figure 7.
[0101] The shorts-type napkin 1 according to the second embodiment differs from the shorts-type napkin 1 according to the first embodiment in that the bond-reducing agent-disposing region 41 is disposed in the outer body 5 rather than in the absorbent body 3, but is otherwise similar to the shorts-type napkin according to the first embodiment. Therefore, the following description of the shorts-type napkin 1 according to the second embodiment will focus on the differences from the shorts-type napkin 1 according to the first embodiment.
[0102] In the exterior body 5 of the shorts-type napkin 1 according to the second embodiment, the multiple-sheet region 53 corresponds to an adhesive-disposing region 123 where hot melt adhesive is disposed for joining the skin-contacting sheet and the opposing sheet. Specifically, as shown in Fig. 9 , among the multiple-sheet region 53 in the front region 7, the two-sheet region 53a, which is composed of two sheets, the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a corresponding to the skin-contacting sheet and the first outer sheet 111 corresponding to the opposing sheet, corresponds to the adhesive-disposing region 123 where a skin-contacting sheet joining portion 121 made of hot melt adhesive is disposed for joining the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a corresponding to the skin-contacting sheet and the first outer sheet 111 corresponding to the opposing sheet, with the multiple ventral-side elastic members 115 sandwiched therebetween.
[0103] 9 , the portion of the multiple-sheet region 53 in the front region 7 where the first outer sheet 111 is folded inward corresponds to a three-sheet region 53b made up of three sheets, in order from the skin side: the folded-back first outer sheet 111a, the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a, and the first outer sheet 111. The three-sheet region 53b corresponds to an adhesive placement region 123 where a skin-contacting sheet joining portion 121 made of hot-melt adhesive is placed to join the folded-back first outer sheet 111a, which corresponds to the skin-contacting sheet, and the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a, which corresponds to the opposing sheet.
[0104] An end view is omitted as it is similar to Figure 9, but of the multiple-sheet area 53 in the rear area 9, the two-sheet area consisting of two sheets, the back-side second exterior sheet 113b corresponding to the skin-contacting sheet and the first exterior sheet 111 corresponding to the opposing sheet, corresponds to the adhesive placement area 123 where a skin-contacting sheet joint made of hot melt adhesive is arranged to join the back-side second exterior sheet 113b corresponding to the skin-contacting sheet and the first exterior sheet 111 corresponding to the opposing sheet with multiple back-side elastic members 117 sandwiched therebetween.
[0105] Furthermore, in the multiple-sheet region 53 of the rear region 9, the portion where the first exterior sheet 111 is folded inward corresponds to a three-sheet region made up of three sheets, in order from the skin side: the folded-back first exterior sheet 111a, the back-side second exterior sheet 113b, and the first exterior sheet 111. This three-sheet region corresponds to an adhesive placement region 123 where a skin-contact sheet joining portion 121 made of hot-melt adhesive is placed to join the folded-back first exterior sheet 111, which corresponds to the skin-contact sheet, and the back-side second exterior sheet 113b, which corresponds to the opposing sheet.
[0106] In the shorts-type napkin 1 according to the second embodiment, the bond reducer placement region 41 is disposed in the exterior body 5. Specifically, in the unfolded state, the bond reducer placement region 41 is disposed in a predetermined range within the multiple sheet region 53 so as not to overlap with the absorbent body 3, and so as not to reach the pair of fastening portions 105 (one fastening portion 105a and the other fastening portion 105b) in the longitudinal direction L from the front end 11 to the rear end 13 in the width direction W.
[0107] 10 , in the three-sheet region 53b of the front region 7, the adhesion reducer arrangement region 41 is disposed between the folded first outer sheet 111a, which corresponds to the skin-contacting sheet, and the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a, which corresponds to the opposing sheet. In the two-sheet region 53a, the adhesion reducer arrangement region 41 is disposed between the ventral-side second outer sheet 113a, which corresponds to the skin-contacting sheet, and the first outer sheet 111, which corresponds to the opposing sheet.
[0108] Similarly, although not shown, in the three-sheet region 53b of the rear region 9, the adhesion reducer placement region 41 is disposed between the folded first exterior sheet 111a, which corresponds to the skin-contacting sheet, and the back-side second exterior sheet 113b, which corresponds to the opposing sheet. In addition, in the two-sheet region 53a, the adhesion reducer placement region 41 is disposed between the back-side second exterior sheet 113b, which corresponds to the skin-contacting sheet, and the first exterior sheet 111, which corresponds to the opposing sheet.
[0109] In the shorts-type napkin 1 according to the second embodiment, in the unfolded state, the adhesion reducer placement region 41 is located further outward in the longitudinal direction L than the absorbent main body 3. This makes it less likely that the wearer will experience itching in the adhesion reducer placement region 41, which is located further outward in the longitudinal direction L than the absorbent main body 3. Furthermore, in the unfolded state, the adhesion reducer placement region 41 is located in a portion adjacent to both ends (not indicated by reference numerals) of the absorbent main body 3 in the longitudinal direction L. This makes it less likely that the wearer will experience itching in the portion adjacent to both ends of the absorbent main body 3 in the longitudinal direction L.
[0110] In the unfolded state, the adhesion reducing agent placement region 41 is placed adjacent to the outer edge of the absorbent main body 3 so as to go all the way around. This makes it less likely that the wearer will experience itching at the outer edge of the absorbent main body 3. In the unfolded state, the adhesion reducing agent placement region 41 is placed between a pair of fastening portions 105 (one fastening portion 105a and the other fastening portion 105b) of the outer body 5. This makes it less likely that the wearer will experience itching in the adhesion reducing agent placement region 41 between the pair of fastening portions 105 (one fastening portion 105a and the other fastening portion 105b).
[0111] The adhesion reducing agent placement region 41 is placed in both the three-sheet region 53b in the front region 7 and the three-sheet region 53b in the rear region 9. This makes it less likely that the wearer will experience itching in the adhesion reducing agent placement region 41 in the three-sheet region 53b, where itching is likely to occur.
[0112] The bond reducing agent placement region 41 is arranged in a widthwise elastic region (not indicated by a reference numeral) in the exterior body 5 of the front region 7, where the abdominal elastic member 115 stretchable in the width direction W is located. The bond reducing agent placement region 41 is also arranged in a widthwise elastic region (not indicated by a reference numeral) in the exterior body 5 of the rear region 9, where the back elastic member 117 and the rear leg elastic member 119 stretchable in the width direction W are located. This makes it less likely that the wearer will experience itching in the bond reducing agent placement region 41 in the widthwise elastic region where itching is likely to occur.
[0113] In the shorts-type napkin 1 according to the second embodiment, in the unfolded state, the bond-reducing agent placement region 41 is not located in a region (not designated by a reference numeral) of the outer body 5 that overlaps with the absorbent main body 3 in the thickness direction T. This makes it difficult for the bond between the outer body 5 and the absorbent main body 3 to deteriorate, allowing the shorts-type napkin 1 to more easily perform its function.
[0114] The pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure is not particularly limited as long as it comprises an absorbent main body having an absorbent core and an outer body, and may also comprise components other than the absorbent main body and outer body. The pants-type absorbent article generally comprises a waist opening and a pair of leg openings (one leg opening and the other leg opening). The pants-type absorbent article may have a pair of fastening portions (one fastening portion and the other fastening portion) that fasten the outer body in the front region and the outer body in the rear region. The pair of fastening portions may be openable or closed, or may be non-openable by fusion bonding or the like. The pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure may, for example, have a waist opening made of a single member and not have a pair of fastening portions.
[0115] Examples of the pants-type absorbent article include disposable diapers (such as tape-type disposable diapers and pants-type disposable diapers), disposable shorts, and the like.
[0116] The absorbent main body has a longitudinal direction and a width direction, and the pant-type absorbent article, in its unfolded state, has a longitudinal direction and a width direction of the absorbent main body and a thickness direction perpendicular to the longitudinal and width directions. Note that the longitudinal direction and width direction used in relation to a pant-type absorbent article refer to the longitudinal direction and width direction of the absorbent main body, and do not refer to the long direction and short direction of the pant-type absorbent article. Furthermore, in this specification, when the longitudinal direction, width direction, and / or thickness direction are simply referred to, they refer to the longitudinal direction, width direction, and / or thickness direction defined in relation to the pant-type absorbent article described above.
[0117] The thickness direction can be divided into an inward direction and an outward direction. In this specification, "inward" and "outward" refer to the direction toward the wearer's skin side and the direction away from the wearer's skin side, respectively, when viewed from the object. In this specification, "skin side" and "away from the skin side" refer to the direction toward the wearer's skin side and the direction away from the wearer's skin side, respectively, when viewed from the object.
[0118] In this specification, the "unfolded state" of a pant-type absorbent article refers to a state in which the boundary between the front region and the back region of the pant-type absorbent article, for example, a pair of fastening parts, is released as necessary, and the pant-type absorbent article is stretched and spread out on a plane without breaking the material (e.g., nonwoven fabric) that constitutes the pant-type absorbent article. The pair of fastening parts may be openable or closed, or may be non-openable by fusion bonding or the like. In this specification, the unfolded state of a pant-type absorbent article may also be simply referred to as the "unfolded state."
[0119] The pants-type absorbent article can be divided into a front region located closer to the front end than a longitudinal centerline, which is a straight line passing through the longitudinal center of the pants-type absorbent article and parallel to the width direction, in an unfolded state, and a rear region located closer to the rear end than the longitudinal centerline. The front end and rear end refer to the edges of the front region and the rear region, respectively, which define the waist opening.
[0120] The pants-type absorbent article can be divided into a ventral region, a crotch region, and a back region by dividing lines extending parallel to the width direction in the unfolded state. The ventral region refers to a region of the front region that is fastened by a pair of fastening parts, the back region refers to a region of the rear region that is fastened by a pair of fastening parts, and the crotch region refers to a region between the ventral region and the back region.
[0121] The pants-type absorbent article includes a skin-contact sheet having a skin-contact surface and an opposing sheet disposed opposite the skin-contact sheet. The skin-contact sheet and opposing sheet can be disposed on at least one of the absorbent body and the exterior body. It is preferable that the opposing sheet be disposed adjacent to the skin-contact sheet.
[0122] The pants-type absorbent article includes an adhesive placement area in which an adhesive is placed to bond the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet. Any adhesive commonly used in the art may be used as the adhesive, and examples of such adhesive include hot-melt adhesives. The adhesive placement area is not particularly limited as long as the pants-type absorbent article includes the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet, and may be placed at any position on the exterior body and / or the absorbent main body.
[0123] In the adhesive placement region, the adhesive may be continuously disposed in the longitudinal direction and the width direction. In the adhesive placement region, for example, the adhesive may be continuously disposed on the skin contact sheet and the counter sheet, and the adhesive may continuously join the skin contact sheet and the counter sheet.
[0124] In the adhesive placement region, the adhesive can be intermittently disposed in either the longitudinal or width direction. For example, multiple linear adhesive strips can be disposed in the longitudinal or width direction, spaced apart in the perpendicular direction. Examples of linear strips include straight strips and non-linear strips (e.g., spiral strips, Ω-shaped strips, etc.). In the adhesive placement region, the adhesive can be intermittently disposed in the longitudinal and width directions. For example, the adhesive can be disposed in dots extending in the longitudinal and width directions. Of the adhesive placement region, a region that does not include the bonding reducer placement region can function as an "adhesion region" where the adhesive bonds the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet.
[0125] The pants-type absorbent article has an adhesion reducing agent placement area in the adhesive placement area, in which an adhesion reducing agent that reduces adhesive bonding is placed. The pants-type absorbent article may have an adhesion reducing agent placement area in which an adhesion reducing agent that reduces adhesive bonding is placed in the entire adhesive placement area, but it is preferable that the adhesion reducing agent placement area is placed in a part of the adhesive placement area. This allows the area of the adhesive placement area that does not include the adhesion reducing agent placement area to function as an "adhesion area" where the adhesive bonds the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet. As a result, the pants-type absorbent article can more easily perform its functions, and the wearer is less likely to experience itching in the adhesion reducing agent placement area.
[0126] The adhesion reducer placement region can be placed on the skin-contacting surface, inside or non-skin-contacting surface of the skin-contact sheet, or on the skin-side surface, inside or non-skin-contacting surface of the counter sheet, etc. From the viewpoint of reducing adhesive bonding, the adhesion reducer placement region is preferably placed on the inside or non-skin-contacting surface of the skin-contact sheet, or on the skin-side surface or inside of the counter sheet, and is preferably placed on the non-skin-contacting surface of the skin-contact sheet or the skin-side surface of the counter sheet.
[0127] In the bonding reducer placement region, the bonding reducer is preferably 0.01 g / m 2 More preferably, 0.1 g / m 2 More preferably, 0.5 g / m 2 In addition, in the bonding agent placement region, the bonding agent is preferably placed at a basis weight of 20 g / m2 or more from the viewpoint of its function. 2 or less, more preferably 10 g / m 2 less than, and more preferably 5 g / m 2 Arranged at the following basis weights:
[0128] In the pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure, the outer body may include a single-sheet region composed of a single sheet, or may include a multiple-sheet region composed of multiple sheets. The adhesion reducing agent placement region may be located at any position in the multiple-sheet region of the outer body. Examples of the skin-contact sheet and the opposing sheet that constitute the outer body include fabrics such as nonwoven fabrics (e.g., non-stretchable nonwoven fabrics, stretchable nonwoven fabrics), woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, and films such as liquid-impermeable films and liquid-permeable films.
[0129] The outer cover may include an elastic member for fitting the pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure to a wearer. The outer cover may include, for example, a ventral elastic member extending from one fastening portion to the other fastening portion in the front region as the elastic member. The ventral elastic member may be a plurality of linear elastic members spaced apart in the longitudinal direction, or may be a planar elastic member.
[0130] The outer cover may include, for example, a back elastic member in the rear region, which extends in the width direction (e.g., from one fastening portion to the other fastening portion and / or from one leg opening to the other leg opening). The back elastic member may be a plurality of linear elastic members spaced apart in the longitudinal direction, or may be a planar elastic member.
[0131] Furthermore, the outer cover may include, for example, rear leg elastic members in the rear region, extending in the width direction (e.g., extending from one fastening portion, along one leg opening, the absorbent main body, and the other leg opening, to the other fastening portion). The rear leg elastic members may be curved so as to protrude toward the longitudinal centerline. The rear leg elastic members may be partially or entirely broken in a region that overlaps with the absorbent core when the pants-type absorbent article is in an unfolded state. The rear leg elastic members may be a plurality of linear elastic members spaced apart in the longitudinal direction, or may be planar elastic members.
[0132] In the adhesive-disposed region, the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet may have adhesive disposed therebetween with the elastic member sandwiched therebetween. If the elastic member is a linear elastic member, the linear elastic member may be joined to the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet with an adhesive, and the linear elastic member itself may not be joined to the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet with an adhesive, but the skin-contact sheet and the counter sheet may be joined together with an adhesive around the linear elastic member.
[0133] In the deployed state, the adhesion reducing agent region can be positioned longitudinally outward of the absorbent main body in the outer casing, or can be positioned longitudinally inward, and is preferably positioned at least longitudinally outward, so that the wearer is less likely to experience itching in the adhesion reducing agent region longitudinally outward of the absorbent main body.
[0134] In the deployed state, the cohesion reducing agent region is preferably located in a portion of the outer cover adjacent to at least one of the longitudinal ends of the absorbent main body, and more preferably in a portion adjacent to both of the longitudinal ends of the absorbent main body, thereby making it less likely that the wearer will experience itching in the cohesion reducing agent region in the portion adjacent to at least one of the longitudinal ends of the absorbent main body.
[0135] In the unfolded state, the adhesion reducing agent placement region can be located in a portion of the outer body adjacent to at least a portion of the outer edge of the absorbent main body, for example, the adhesion reducing agent placement region can be located in a portion of the outer edge of the absorbent main body adjacent to the outer side in the width direction, the outer side in the longitudinal direction, etc. This makes it less likely that the wearer will experience itching in the adhesion reducing agent placement region in the portion adjacent to at least a portion of the outer edge of the absorbent main body.
[0136] In the deployed state, the cohesion reducing agent placement region may or may not be located between the pair of fastening portions of the outer cover, and is preferably located there. This makes it less likely that the wearer will experience itching in the cohesion reducing agent placement region in the waist region. The cohesion reducing agent placement region may or may not be located on the pair of fastening portions themselves, and is preferably not located there, from the viewpoint of the strength of the pair of fastening portions.
[0137] When the outer cover has a three or more sheet region that is composed of three or more sheets in the thickness direction in the unfolded state, the adhesion reducer arrangement region can be arranged in the three or more sheet region, thereby making it less likely for the wearer to experience itching in the adhesion reducer arrangement region within the three or more sheet region where itching is likely to occur.
[0138] The outer cover may include a widthwise elastic region including an elastic member that is stretchable in the width direction when deployed. In this case, the adhesion reducing agent region may be located in the widthwise elastic region. This reduces itching in the adhesion reducing agent region within the widthwise elastic region, which is prone to itching.
[0139] The outer covering may include, in an unfolded state, a widthwise elastic region provided with a widthwise stretchable elastic member and a widthwise inelastic region disposed closer to the longitudinal centerline than the widthwise elastic region and not provided with a widthwise stretchable elastic member. In this case, the adhesion reducing agent-disposed region may be disposed in the widthwise inelastic region. This reduces itching in the adhesion reducing agent-disposed region within the widthwise inelastic region, where it is likely to cause itching.
[0140] In the outer body, in the unfolded state, the bond reducer arrangement region is preferably arranged in a region that does not overlap with the absorbent main body in the thickness direction, thereby making it difficult for the bond between the outer body and the absorbent main body to be reduced, and allowing the pants-type absorbent article to more easily perform its functions.
[0141] The absorbent body includes an absorbent core, and generally includes an absorbent core, a liquid-permeable sheet (hereinafter referred to as a "top sheet") having a skin-contacting surface arranged on the skin side of the absorbent core, and a liquid-impermeable sheet arranged on the non-skin side of the absorbent core. If desired, the absorbent body may further include a liquid-diffusion sheet (hereinafter referred to as a "second sheet") arranged between the top sheet and the absorbent core, a liquid-diffusion sheet (hereinafter referred to as a "third sheet") arranged between the absorbent core and the liquid-impermeable sheet, or a sheet (e.g., a nonwoven fabric sheet, e.g., a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet) arranged on the non-skin side of the liquid-impermeable sheet. The absorbent core may or may not have a pair of constricted portions constricted in the width direction. The absorbent core may be arranged in the absorbent body as an absorber together with a core wrap covering the absorbent core.
[0142] When the adhesive placement area and / or adhesion reducing agent placement area are arranged in the absorbent body, the top sheet corresponds to the skin contact sheet, and the second sheet, the core wrap arranged on the skin side of the absorbent core, etc. can correspond to the opposing sheet.
[0143] In the unfolded state, the cohesion reducing agent placement region can be disposed on the absorbent main body in the ventral region, the crotch region, and / or the dorsal region. Also, in the unfolded state, the adhesive placement region can be disposed on the absorbent main body in the ventral region, the crotch region, and / or the dorsal region. In the unfolded state, the cohesion reducing agent placement region is preferably disposed on the absorbent main body in the crotch region. This reduces itching in the cohesion reducing agent placement region in the crotch region, which is prone to itching.
[0144] In the unfolded state, the absorbent main body can be divided into a longitudinal central region located in the longitudinal center, a longitudinal front region located toward the longitudinal front end of the longitudinal central region, and a longitudinal rear region located toward the longitudinal rear end of the longitudinal central region. Furthermore, in the unfolded state, the absorbent main body can be divided into a widthwise central region located in the widthwise center and widthwise side regions located on both sides of the widthwise central region. In this case, in the unfolded state, the adhesion reducer placement regions can be located in the longitudinal central region and the widthwise central region of the absorbent main body. This reduces itching around the excretory opening, which is prone to itching.
[0145] The longitudinal central region refers to a region of the absorbent main body that is closer to the front end than the longitudinal central region, the longitudinal rear region refers to a region of the absorbent main body that is closer to the rear end than the longitudinal central region, the widthwise central region refers to a region of the absorbent main body that is closer to the rear end than the longitudinal central region, and the widthwise side regions refer to a region of the absorbent main body excluding the widthwise central region, preferably 60%, more preferably 50%, and even more preferably 40% of the widthwise central region.
[0146] In the unfolded state, it is preferable that the adhesive-disposing regions are disposed in the longitudinal front region, the longitudinal rear region, and the widthwise side regions of the absorbent main body, and the bond-reducing agent-disposing regions are not disposed in the longitudinal rear region and the widthwise side regions of the absorbent main body, which makes it easier for the absorbent main body to maintain its structure in the longitudinal rear region and the widthwise side regions, and makes it easier for the absorbent main body to perform its functions.
[0147] In the deployed state, the cohesion reducer placement area can be disposed on the absorbent body in the front region and / or the rear region, and the adhesive placement area can be disposed on the absorbent body in the front region and / or the rear region.
[0148] In the deployed state, the cohesion reducer placement region may be disposed on the absorbent main body in the front region and the rear region, and the adhesive placement region may be disposed on the absorbent main body in the front region and the rear region, in which case the area of the cohesion reducer placement region on the absorbent main body in the rear region may be smaller than the area of the cohesion reducer placement region on the absorbent main body in the front region and smaller than the area of the adhesive placement region on the absorbent main body in the rear region.
[0149] As a result, in the absorbent main body in the front region, the wearer is less likely to experience itching around the excretory opening, which is a region where it is likely to be itchy. Also, in the absorbent main body in the rear region, the part of the adhesive-disposed area that does not correspond to the bonding reducer-disposed area, i.e., the "bonded area" where the adhesive bonds the skin-contact sheet and the opposing sheet, prevents the skin-contact sheet from separating from the opposing sheet, thereby preventing leakage.
[0150] The pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure may include elastic members disposed on the non-skin side of the absorbent core and arranged in the longitudinal direction from the front region to the rear region. The region defined by the elastic members is referred to as the "elastic member arrangement region." The elastic members may be composed of one or more linear elastic members (e.g., thread-like elastic members) or planar elastic members (e.g., stretchable nonwoven fabrics).
[0151] When the elastic member is composed of a plurality of linear elastic members, the linear elastic members may have the same or different lengths in the longitudinal direction, and may be arranged at the same pitch in the width direction or at different pitches in the width direction.
[0152] The position of the elastic member in the thickness direction is not particularly limited as long as it is positioned on the non-skin side of the absorbent core, and examples include between the absorbent core and the core wrap, between the core wrap and the liquid-impermeable sheet, between the liquid-impermeable sheet and a sheet constituting the absorbent main body arranged on the non-skin side thereof (e.g., a nonwoven fabric sheet, e.g., a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet), between the absorbent main body and the outer sheet, and between two sheets constituting the outer sheet (e.g., a nonwoven fabric sheet, e.g., a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric sheet).
[0153] From the viewpoint of facilitating contact of the absorbent main body, and therefore the absorbent core, with the excretory opening of the wearer, the elastic member can be joined to the adjacent sheet in the thickness direction at a stretching ratio of preferably 1.1 or more, more preferably 1.5 or more, and even more preferably 2.0 or more relative to the adjacent sheet in the thickness direction. Also, from the above viewpoint, the elastic member can be joined to the adjacent sheet in the thickness direction at a stretching ratio of preferably 3.5 or less, more preferably 3.2 or less, and even more preferably 3.0 or less relative to the adjacent sheet in the thickness direction.
[0154] When the pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure includes the elastic member-arrangement region, it is preferable that, in the unfolded state, the adhesion reducer-arrangement region and the elastic member-arrangement region overlap in the thickness direction. This allows the absorbent main body to deform when worn so that the portion where the elastic member is present is convex toward the wearer, allowing it to fit snugly against the wearer, suppressing leakage and reducing itching in the portion of the absorbent main body that is snugly against the wearer's skin. Furthermore, when the adhesion reducer is an oily component, the elastic member facilitates contact of the absorbent main body, and therefore the absorbent core, with the wearer's excretory opening, allowing bodily fluids to slide easily from the skin-contact sheet to the absorbent core and reducing leakage of bodily fluids.
[0155] When the adhesion reducer is an oily component, from the viewpoint of allowing the adhesion reducer (oily component) to act quickly on body fluids that have reached the absorbent main body, the adhesion reducer-disposing region is preferably disposed on the skin-contacting surface, inside, or non-skin-contacting surface of the skin-contacting sheet, more preferably on the skin-contacting surface or inside, and even more preferably on the skin-contacting surface. From the viewpoint of preventing contamination of the adhesion reducer on a production line for pant-type absorbent articles and contamination of other pant-type absorbent articles by the adhesion reducer, the adhesion reducer-disposing region is preferably disposed on the inside or non-skin-contacting surface of the skin-contacting sheet (e.g., top sheet), or on a facing sheet (e.g., second sheet, core wrap, etc.), and more preferably on the non-skin-contacting surface of the skin-contacting sheet (e.g., top sheet) or on a facing sheet (e.g., second sheet, core wrap, etc.).
[0156] When the pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure includes the elastic member arrangement region, the absorbent main body, in its unfolded state, may include a compression section that compresses the absorbent core in a region that overlaps the bond reducer arrangement region and the elastic member arrangement region in the thickness direction. The compression section may compress not only the absorbent core but also any other components that make up the absorbent main body. The compression section is preferably a compression section that compresses from the non-skin side. Furthermore, the compression section is preferably located at the widthwise center, extending longitudinally, and more preferably located in the widthwise center region. This is to deform the widthwise center of the absorbent main body so that it is convex toward the wearer when the pants-type absorbent article is worn.
[0157] The convex portions of the absorbent main body formed by the compression sections are less likely to cause itching to the wearer due to friction with the skin-contact sheet. Furthermore, when the adhesion reducer is an oily component, the convex portions of the absorbent main body are more likely to come into contact with the wearer's skin, making it easier for bodily fluids to slide from the skin-contact sheet through the opposing sheet and into the absorbent core, thereby suppressing leakage of bodily fluids and, as a result of suppressing leakage of bodily fluids, reducing itching caused by bodily fluids.
[0158] When the pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure includes the elastic member-arrangement region, the absorbent core preferably includes, in the unfolded state, a low-basis-weight region having a basis weight less than the average basis weight of the absorbent core in a region that overlaps with the bond-reducing agent-arrangement region and the elastic member-arrangement region in the thickness direction. The low-basis-weight region preferably extends longitudinally at the center in the width direction, and is more preferably located in the widthwise center region.
[0159] As a result, the wearer is less likely to experience itching at the convex parts of the absorbent main body due to friction with the skin-contact sheet. Furthermore, when the adhesion reducer is an oily component, the convex parts of the absorbent main body are more likely to come into contact with the wearer's skin, making it easier for body fluids to slide from the skin-contact sheet through the opposing sheet to the absorbent core, thereby suppressing leakage of body fluids and, as a result of suppressing leakage of body fluids, making it less likely for the wearer to experience itching caused by body fluids. Note that the low basis weight region is a void, i.e., a region with a basis weight of 0 g / m 2 may be.
[0160] In the pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure, the absorbent main body may include a pair of compression sections that compress the skin-contact sheet, the opposing sheet, and the absorbent core and extend in the longitudinal direction. In this case, the adhesion reducer arrangement region is preferably arranged between the pair of compression sections of the absorbent main body. This reduces the wearer's risk of itching caused by friction with the skin-contact sheet. Furthermore, if the adhesion reducer is an oily component, bodily fluids can easily slide from the skin-contact sheet through the opposing sheet to the absorbent core, thereby suppressing leakage of bodily fluids. As a result of suppressing leakage of bodily fluids, the wearer is less likely to experience itching caused by bodily fluids.
[0161] In the pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure, in the unfolded state, the absorbent main body may have a plurality of ridge portions that protrude toward the skin and extend in the width direction. In this case, it is preferable that the adhesion reducer placement region is placed in the plurality of ridge portions. This makes it easier to fit the absorbent article to the wearer's body when worn and can suppress itching in the plurality of ridge portions that are likely to cause itching to the wearer.
[0162] The plurality of ribs can be formed, for example, by providing a pants-type absorbent article with elastic members extending in the longitudinal direction, such as the above-mentioned elastic member arrangement region. Even if the above-mentioned elastic member arrangement region is not provided, the plurality of ribs can be formed by changing the longitudinal length, longitudinal contractibility, etc. at different positions in the width direction of the pants-type absorbent article.
[0163] In the pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure, when the adhesion reducing agent placement region is placed in the longitudinal central region and the width central region of the absorbent main body, it is preferable that, in the adhesion reducing agent placement region, the skin-contact sheet has a skin-contact sheet low-basis weight region having an adhesion reducing agent basis weight lower than the average basis weight of the adhesion reducing agent in the skin-contact sheet. Also, in the adhesion reducing agent placement region, it is preferable that the absorbent core has an absorbent core high-basis weight region having an adhesion reducing agent basis weight higher than the average basis weight of the adhesion reducing agent in the absorbent core. Furthermore, in the unfolded state, it is preferable that the skin-contact sheet low-basis weight region and the absorbent core high-basis weight region overlap in the thickness direction.
[0164] As a result, the adhesive bonding between the skin-contact sheet and the facing sheet is less likely to come loose during storage of the pant-type absorbent article, particularly during transportation, etc., and the absorbent main body is more likely to perform its function when the pant-type absorbent article is worn, particularly immediately after wearing. Furthermore, if the above-mentioned bonding reducer is an oily component, when the pant-type absorbent article is worn, particularly when body pressure is applied, the oily component as the bonding reducer moves from the high-basis-weight region of the absorbent core bonding reducer that is arranged at a position that overlaps with the low-basis-weight region of the skin-contact sheet bonding reducer in the thickness direction to the low-basis-weight region of the skin-contact sheet bonding reducer, allowing bodily fluid that has reached the skin-contact sheet to slide down to the absorbent core.
[0165] A structure in which the low basis weight region of the skin-contact sheet bonding reducer and the high basis weight region of the absorbent core bonding reducer overlap in the thickness direction can be formed, for example, by folding a pants-type absorbent article once or multiple times.
[0166] The absorbent main body may include an absorbent core high-basis weight portion having a basis weight higher than the average basis weight of the absorbent core. In this case, in the unfolded state, the skin-contact sheet low-basis weight region and the absorbent core high-basis weight region preferably overlap in the thickness direction in the absorbent core high-basis weight portion. This makes it difficult for the skin-contact sheet and the opposing sheet to come apart during storage of the pant-type absorbent article, and the absorbent main body can easily perform its function when the pant-type absorbent article is worn. Furthermore, if the adhesion reducing agent is an oily component, the oily component as the adhesion reducing agent migrates from the absorbent core high-basis weight region, which is located at a position overlapping the skin-contact sheet low-basis weight region in the thickness direction, to the skin-contact sheet low-basis weight region of the skin-contact sheet when the pant-type absorbent article is worn, allowing bodily fluid that reaches the skin-contact sheet to slide down to the absorbent core.
[0167] The pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure may be unfolded or may be folded at one or more folds. When folded at one or more folds, it is preferable that, in the unfolded state, the low-basis-weight region of the skin-contact sheet bond reducer and the high-basis-weight region of the absorbent core bond reducer overlap in the thickness direction at least in part of the one or more folds. This makes it less likely that absorption of bodily fluids will be hindered. Furthermore, as a result of the less hindered absorption of bodily fluids, the wearer will be less likely to experience itching.
[0168] In the pants-type absorbent article according to the present disclosure, the absorbent main body is folded by three folds extending in the width direction, and can be partitioned by the three folds into four regions arranged in the longitudinal direction: two end regions arranged at both ends in the longitudinal direction and two central regions between them. In this case, it is preferable that the absorbent main body in the unfolded state satisfies the following (i) or (ii): (i) each of the two end regions and the two central regions has the adhesion reducing agent arrangement region, and the two end regions have a smaller basis weight of the adhesion reducing agent than the two central regions; or (ii) each of the two central regions has the adhesion reducing agent arrangement region, but neither of the two end regions has the adhesion reducing agent arrangement region.
[0169] In the case of (i), the adhesion reducer suppresses excessive weakening of the bond between the skin-contact sheet and the opposing sheet, preventing them from separating, while suppressing itching in the wearer, and allows leaked body fluid to be absorbed from the skin-contact sheet through the opposing sheet into the absorbent core.In the case of (ii), the adhesion reducer does not weaken the bond between the skin-contact sheet and the opposing sheet, allowing leaked body fluid to be absorbed from the skin-contact sheet through the opposing sheet into the absorbent core.
[0170] The pants-type absorbent article preferably does not contain a volatile cooling sensation agent. This prevents itching caused by irritation of the wearer's skin by the volatile cooling sensation agent. The vapor pressure of the volatile cooling sensation agent at 20°C is preferably 0.1 Pa or more, more preferably 1.0 Pa or more, even more preferably 10 Pa or more, and even more preferably 100 Pa or more.
[0171] In the present disclosure, the adhesion reducer is not particularly limited as long as it reduces the adhesive bonding between the skin contact sheet and the counter sheet, and examples thereof include silicone oil, oily components, etc. Examples of the silicone oil include straight silicone oil, modified silicone oil, etc. Examples of the straight silicone oil include dimethyl silicone oil (e.g., trisiloxane, dimethicone, etc.), methyl phenyl silicone oil (e.g., diphenyl dimethicone, diphenylsiloxy phenyl trimethicone, etc.), methyl hydrogen silicone oil, etc.
[0172] Examples of the modified silicone oil include amino-modified silicone oil, diamino-modified silicone oil (e.g., amodimethicone, amitoethylaminopropyl dimethicone, aminopropyl dimethicone, etc.), polyether-modified silicone oil (e.g., PEG-11 methyl ether dimethicone, PEG / PPG-20 / 22 butyl ether dimethicone, PEG-9 dimethicone, PEG-3 dimethicone, PEG-9 methyl ether dimethicone, PEG-10 dimethicone, PEG-32 methyl ether dimethicone, PEG-9 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone, lauryl PEG-9 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone, cetyl PEG / PPG-10 / 1 dimethicone, etc.). As the silicone oil, amino-modified silicone oil and diamino-modified silicone oil are preferred from the viewpoint of softness of the pants-type absorbent article, and dimethyl silicone oil is preferred from the viewpoint of cost.
[0173] In the present disclosure, the oily component has the same effect as the blood slipping agent described in Patent Document 2, and plays a role in allowing not only menstrual blood but also bodily fluids to slide from the skin contact sheet to the absorbent core. The oily component has a viscosity of preferably 0.01 to 80 mm at 40°C. 2 / s, more preferably 1 to 70 mm 2 / s, more preferably 3 to 60 mm 2 / s, and even more preferably 5 to 50 mm 2 / s, and even more preferably 7 to 45 mm2 / s.
[0174] In addition, the oil component has a viscosity of 0.01 to 80 mm at 40°C. 2 In order to have a kinematic viscosity of 80 mm / s, it is preferable that the melting point of the oily component is 45°C or lower. This is because if the oily component contains crystals at 40°C, the kinematic viscosity tends to increase. In this specification, the kinematic viscosity at 40°C may be simply referred to as "kinematic viscosity". 2 If the viscosity exceeds 1 / s, the viscosity of the oily component will be high, and it will tend to be difficult for the oily component to slide down from the skin contact sheet to the absorbent core together with bodily fluids such as menstrual blood.
[0175] The kinematic viscosity can be measured at a test temperature of 40°C using a Cannon-Fenske reverse flow viscometer in accordance with JIS K 2283:2000, "5. Kinematic viscosity test method."
[0176] The oily component preferably has a water holding percentage of 0.01 to 4.0% by mass, more preferably 0.02 to 3.5% by mass, even more preferably 0.03 to 3.0% by mass, even more preferably 0.04 to 2.5% by mass, and even more preferably 0.05 to 2.0% by mass.
[0177] As used herein, "water holding rate" refers to the proportion of water that a substance can hold, and can be measured as follows: (1) A test tube, rubber stopper, substance to be measured, and deionized water are left standing overnight in a thermostatic chamber at 40°C. (2) In the thermostatic chamber, 5.0 g of the substance to be measured and 5.0 g of deionized water are placed in a 20 mL test tube.
