Description

OPTICAL SYSTEM AND ELECTRONIC DEVICETechnical Field

[0001] The present disclosure relates an optical system including a plurality of lenses and lens groups, and an electronic device having thereof. Background Art

[0002] In recent years, electronic devices such as mobile terminal devices have become remarkably popular, and moreover, it has become common for these electronic devices to incorporate compact camera units. There is a strong demand for such camera units to be compact, especially in a direction of a thickness of an electronic device. Furthermore, in recent years, in order to adapt to the shooting of various subjects, camera units increasingly have multiple camera modules, with a wide-angle lens for normal shooting, an ultra-wide-angle lens with a larger angle than that of the wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens with a longer focal length than that of the wide-angle lens.

[0003] For the telephoto lens installed in such electronic devices, the image stabilization mechanism that corrects image movement caused by vibrations such as camera shake by moving some of lens group that constitutes an optical system is required. Naturally, it is desirable that the image stabilization mechanism also be small and have a simple configuration.

[0004] As a telephoto lens as described above, Patent literature 1 discloses an optical system in which a prism is arranged within the optical system and an optical axis is bent by 90 degrees by reflection. In this optical system, the image stabilization is performed by tilting the prism in a direction that corrects image movement due to camera shake. This is known as a so-called prism tilt type image stabilization  mechanism.

[0005] However, in the prism tilt type image stabilization mechanism, when the lens is arranged closer to the object side than the prism in order to shorten the overall length of the telephoto lens, the optical performance deteriorates due to tilt.

[0006] The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and provides an optical system that has the image stabilization mechanism suitable for a small and thin telephoto lens and has improved the optical performance.Citation ListPatent Literature

[0007] Patent literature 1: Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2012-118336Summary

[0008] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, an optical system includes at least a first lens group with a positive refractive power, a second lens group with a negative refractive power, and a third lens group. The first lens group includes a reflective element that bends an optical axis by 90 degrees. The second lens group functions as a focusing lens group from infinity to close by moving in a direction of the optical axis. The third lens group is an optical image stabilization group that corrects a camera shake by moving in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis.

[0009] By including the reflective element that bends the optical axis by 90 degrees in the optical path of the first lens group, the optical system can reduce the size of the electronic device in which the optical system is installed in the thickness direction. Since the second lens group has a negative refractive power, the total length of the optical system can be shortened, and spherical aberration and field curvature can be effectively corrected. Further, the second lens group moves on the optical axis as a focus lens group, and can focus from an object at infinity to an object at a close distance.  By moving in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis, the third lens group can correct image movement caused by camera shake. The position of the first lens group on the optical axis with respect to the image plane is fixed, and it is possible to downsize the driving device for the second lens group, which is the focus lens group. By adopting such a three-group configuration, it is possible to efficiently and compactly arrange the first lens group that has an imaging function, the second lens group that performs focusing, and the third lens group that performs image stabilization.

[0010] In addition, the optical system has a first lens group with a positive refractive power and a second lens group with a negative refractive power, so that aberrations can be effectively corrected and high optical performance can be obtained. Furthermore, it is possible to reduce the overall optical length, etc.

[0011] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, the first lens group has a positive lens on an object side of the reflective element along the optical axis. By arranging the positive lens on the object side than the reflective optical system, the optical system can be shortened by the optical path length of the reflective optical system, so the overall optical length can be reduced.

[0012] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, the first lens group has a positive lens and a negative lens. Thereby, spherical aberration, coma aberration, and chromatic aberration can be effectively corrected.

[0013] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, the third lens group has a positive lens and a negative lens. This makes it possible to minimize changes in aberrations when the third lens group moves in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis during image stabilization.

[0014] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a focal length of the first lens group satisfies the following condition.

[0015] (1) 0.4 < FL1 / EFL < 1.1,

[0016] Here, FL1 indicates the focal length of the first lens group, and EFL indicates  an effective focal length of the optical system.

[0017] Conditional expression (1) is for appropriately setting the range of the focal length of the first lens group. If the value falls below the range of the conditional expression (1) , the refractive power of the first lens group becomes too strong, which causes large aberrations such as spherical aberration and curvature field, making it difficult to sufficiently correct them. If the value exceeds the range of the conditional expression (1) , the refractive power becomes too weak, resulting in an increase in the total length of the optical system.

[0018] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a focal length of the third lens group satisfies the following condition.

[0019] (2) 0.1 < |FL3 / EFL| < 3.5,

[0020] Here, FL3 indicates the focal length of the third lens group, and EFL indicates an effective focal length of the optical system.

[0021] Conditional expression (2) is for appropriately setting the range of the focal length of the third lens group. If the value falls below the range of conditional expression (2) , the refractive power of the third lens group becomes too strong, causing large aberrations such as spherical aberration and curvature field, making it difficult to sufficiently correct them. If the value exceeds the range of conditional expression (2) , the refractive power becomes too weak, resulting in an increase in the total length of the optical system.

[0022] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, the optical system satisfies the following condition.

[0023] (3) 0.1 < | (1-β) ·βt| < 1.1,

[0024] Here, β indicates a lateral magnification of the image stabilization lens group when focusing on infinity, and βt indicates a lateral magnification of a lens group on an image side of the image stabilization lens group when focusing on infinity.

[0025] Conditional expression (3) is for appropriately setting the range of correction  magnification of the optical image stabilization lens group. If the value falls below the range of conditional expression (3) , the correction magnification becomes too small and the amount of camera shake that can be corrected becomes small, which is not preferable. If the value exceeds the range of conditional expression (3) , the correction magnification becomes too large, making control for the image stabilization difficult.

[0026] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, the optical system further comprises:

[0027] a fourth lens group on an image side of the third lens group.

[0028] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, an electronic device comprising the above optical system is provided.

[0029] It should be understood that the content described in this summary is not intended to limit the main or important features of the embodiments of the present disclosure or to limit the scope of the present disclosure. Other features of embodiments of the present disclosure will be readily understood using the following description.Brief Description of Drawings
