Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] Beverage capsule press
[0003] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The invention, as the title of this specification indicates, is a press for beverage capsules. This is an innovation that, within current technology, offers previously unknown advantages.
[0005] It refers to capsules of the type that have previously contained the necessary dose of ground coffee, tea or other ingredients to prepare beverages.
[0006] TECHNICAL SECTOR
[0007] The present invention falls within the sector of everyday life needs, in articles or appliances for domestic use, coffee grinders, spice grinders and vacuum cleaners in general, specifically in cleaning devices.
[0008] Similarly, it falls under the classification of various industrial techniques and transport in the sector corresponding to presses, specifically in presses specially adapted to special uses.
[0009] STATE OF THE ART
[0010] The present invention arises in response to the generation of waste caused by the accumulation of capsules used to prepare beverages such as coffee, tea or chocolate.
[0011] This situation is due to the fact that used capsules tend to accumulate in the trash, which can cause unpleasant odors in the environment.
[0012] Adding to these problems are environmental concerns related to the production and disposal of the capsules, as the materials they are made from, such as aluminum, can cause environmental problems if not properly recycled.
[0013] Accordingly, this invention presents a beverage capsule press that compresses used capsules and extracts the liquid and other remaining biological material, facilitating their disposal without taking up much space in waste containers or generating unpleasant odors in the environment.
[0014] Currently, the existence of any beverage capsule press is unknown, which has structural and constitutive technical characteristics equal to or similar to those described in this specification, as claimed.
[0015] DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0016] The object of the present invention is the creation of a press for beverage capsules that provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description.
[0017] The present invention relates to a press for beverage capsules, which comprises an actuating element that compresses a capsule that is placed in a compression chamber, housed in the base of a protective container that has a filter at the bottom and a container to receive the liquid drained from the capsule and any material that passes the filter.
[0018] This innovative invention solves the problem of disposing of beverage capsules in a practical, hygienic, and environmentally friendly way.
[0019] This press is very useful because it helps dispose of used capsules efficiently by compressing them and extracting the excess liquid, making them easy to dispose of without generating extra trash, unpleasant odors, or harming the environment.
[0020] The beverage capsule press is equipped with a drive element, consisting of a plunger that moves axially inside the protective container. Pressing the plunger head compresses the capsule, extracting the liquid remaining inside after use. The liquid is then deposited into the receiving container or directly into the sink.
[0021] The compression chamber is cylindrical in shape with open ends to accommodate different capsule sizes.
[0022] The protective container is cylindrical with a front opening, a top opening, and a base centering the compression chamber. It features a double wall with adequate void space surrounding the compression chamber, providing greater protection and serving as a guide for easy movement of the actuating element.
[0023] This design is specifically engineered to create a safe environment that prevents splashing when the capsule is compressed. This protective container also features an internal rim at the bottom that allows the filter and the receiving container to be easily screwed or snapped together.
[0024] The filter is a thick disc-shaped sieve, made of a strong and durable material such as stainless steel or plastic, capable of withstanding the pressure exerted on it by the actuator element when compressing the capsule.
[0025] The receiving container is cup-shaped and can be removed and replaced at will, allowing the user to pour the liquid drained from the capsule directly into the sink or basin. Its diameter is proportional to that of the protective container and tapers toward the bottom, giving it a compact design. It also includes a handle on one side for easy handling.
[0026] The beverage capsule press has a compact design, with separable and removable components for easy cleaning, helping to keep it in optimal hygienic and operating conditions.
[0027] To use this press, you need to place the beverage capsule in the compression chamber and apply pressure to the head of the actuator to compress it, allowing the drained liquid to be poured directly into the sink or receiving container for later disposal.
[0028] EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES
[0029] To complete the description being made and in order to help better understand the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is accompanied, as an integral part thereof, by some figures in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following have been represented.
[0030] Figure 1 illustrates a perspective view of the beverage capsule press with the receiving container. Figure 2 illustrates a perspective view of the beverage capsule press without the receiving container.
[0031] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION.
[0032] The beverage capsule press comprises an actuating element (1) that compresses a capsule (2) that is placed in a compression chamber (3), housed in the base of a protective container (4). The compression chamber (3) has a filter (5) and a removable receiving container (6) in its lower part for the liquid drained from the capsule (2).
[0033] In a preferred embodiment, the actuating element (1) is a piston that moves axially inside the protective container (4) and has a circular head, a solid cylindrical body and a lower convex part, such that when pressure is exerted on the circular head, it pushes the cylindrical body and the lower convex part compresses the capsule (2). In this way, the liquid is released from the capsule (2) into the receiving container (6).
[0034] Preferably, the compression chamber (3) is centered at the base of the protective container (4) and has a cylindrical configuration with open ends and an internal space that accommodates different sizes of capsules (2).
[0035] In another preferred embodiment, the protective container (4) is cylindrical in shape with a front opening, a top opening and a base where the compression chamber (3) is located, surrounded by a double wall with empty space and an adequate width that gives greater protection to the compression chamber (3) and serves as a guide for easy movement of the actuating element (1). This design is specifically conceived to protect the compression chamber (3), creating a safe environment that prevents splashing when compressing the capsule (2).
[0036] In this preferred embodiment, the protective container (4) has an internal coupling edge at its bottom, which allows the filter (5) and the receiving container (6) to be easily screwed or fitted.
[0037] Preferably, the filter (5) is a coarse disc-shaped sieve, made of a strong and firm material such as stainless steel or plastic. This filter (5) is designed to withstand the force applied when compressing the capsule (2). It may have ribs that help this resistance. Preferably, the receiving container (6) is a cup with a diameter complementary to that of the protective container (4) and has a gradual reduction towards the bottom that makes it compact.
[0038] The receiving container (6) is usually provided with a handle on one of its sides. The actuating element (1), the protective container (4), the filter (5) and the receiving container (6) are generally compact in size and do not take up much space. They are separable from each other and removable for easy cleaning. This helps to keep the beverage capsule press in optimal hygienic and operating conditions and also makes it possible to dispense with the receiving container (6) and pour the liquid drained from the capsule (2) directly into the sink or washbasin.
[0039] Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to explain it further so that any expert in the field may understand its scope and the advantages derived from it, stating that, within its essence, it may be put into practice in other embodiments that differ in detail from that indicated by way of example, and to which it will also achieve the protection sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.
