Abstract
Description
DESCRIPTION COSMETIC ITEM AND KIT FOR APPLYING COSMETIC PRODUCTS Technical Mastery
[0001] This disclosure falls within the area of cosmetics, in particular concerning a cosmetic article for cleaning or applying cosmetic compositions to the facial region, especially eyelids and eyelashes. BACKGROUND
[0002] In the area of cosmetics, particularly facial skin care, especially eye care, the use of facial care and makeup products are widely used, as is common knowledge.
[0003] With the growth of digital exposure, there has been a significant increase in demand for cosmetic products, especially makeup. As a direct consequence of this increase, there has also been an associated increase in demand for makeup removers, which are essential for maintaining and preserving skin health.
[0004] Daily use of these products requires their removal, whether for complete facial cleansing or for applying nighttime skin care.
[0005] All of these procedures require the use of products, typically disposable cotton or non-woven fabric pads or balls or sponges or other reusable, single- or multiple-use utensils.
[0006] In the makeup remover area, the most common solution is makeup remover discs, in various formats, on which the makeup remover product is applied and applied to the face to remove cosmetic products, especially makeup.
[0007] However, there are some drawbacks to using these conventional discs, such as the delay in the makeup removal process due to the numerous necessary passes and the aggressiveness of its use by consecutive passes of the disc until the targeted area is completely cleaned.
[0008] In particular, eyelash makeup creates the greatest difficulties, particularly due to the application of resistant and long-lasting mascaras, particularly waterproof mascaras.
[0009] The conventional process ends up being time-consuming, smudging the eye area too much, causing sensitivity, burning, discomfort and irritability, promoting, among other things, premature aging of the skin around the eyes.
[0010] Another problem that arises from the use of traditional makeup removal pads is the number of pads used to remove makeup, as the multiple passes required to completely remove makeup / impurities require the use of multiple pads and cosmetic products, which leads to enormous waste of materials and an increase in the amount of waste produced.
[0011] Some solutions exist in the state of the art to overcome some problems posed by conventional cotton pads.
[0012] Japanese patent application JP2013220268 attempts to solve the problem of excessive eye friction. It discloses a cotton pad shaped to the eye contour, which adapts to the eye area, thus reducing pressure on the eye. This solution, however, does not solve the need for repeated passes of the pad until the product is completely removed, as it maintains ineffective contact between eyelashes and the pad.
[0013] Patent application CN217771722 discloses a makeup remover pad with a waterproof layer comprising an isolated water storage layer on the cosmetic cotton pad, which has the advantages of preventing the cosmetic cotton pad from being completely soaked and being easy to hold when removing makeup.
[0014] Other solutions exist in the art that attempt to solve some of the problems identified above, but none as simply, effectively and sustainably as the one in this disclosure.
[0015] These facts are described in order to illustrate the technical problem solved by the achievements of this document. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
