Abstract
Description
[0001] MODULAR UNIT FOR A FRAME UNIT OF A FRAME DEVICE
[0002] The present invention relates to a modular unit for a frame unit of a frame device, a frame device with several frame units and a protection system with a frame device and with a protection device.
[0003] Frame devices are known from the prior art. Typically, the frame devices known from the prior art comprise several frame units.
[0004] For example, several frame units of the same length are manufactured and delivered to a user of the frame device. The user then determines a desired length for each frame unit by measuring an opening into which the frame device is to be inserted or which is to conceal the frame device or a protective device attached to the frame device. Next, the user shortens each frame unit to the desired length by cutting off appropriate sections from the frame units.
[0005] In another example, frame units are manufactured, each having two telescopically movable sections, and delivered to the user of the frame device. The user then determines a desired length for each frame unit by measuring an opening into which the frame device is to be inserted or which is to conceal the frame device or a protective device attached to the frame device. Next, the user sets the desired length for each frame unit by sliding the telescopically movable sections relative to one another.
[0006] In general, it is desirable that differently designed frame devices can be provided in a particularly simple manner.
[0007] It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide differently designed frame devices in a particularly simple manner. According to a first aspect of the invention, the stated object is achieved by a modular unit having the features of patent claim 1. The modular unit is configured for a frame unit of a frame device. The modular unit extends from a first connecting section, with which the modular unit can be connected to a second connecting section of an identically constructed further modular unit, along an extension direction towards a second connecting section, with which the modular unit can be connected to a first connecting section of an identically constructed further modular unit. The first connecting section of the module unit and the second connecting section of the module unit are designed such that both the first connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the second connecting section of an identically constructed further module unit in such a way that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running transversely to one another, and the second connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the first connecting section of an identically constructed further module unit in such a way that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running transversely to one another.
[0008] As also already described, the modular unit extends from the first connecting section, with which the modular unit can be connected to the second connecting section of the identically constructed further modular unit, along the direction of extension to the second connecting section, with which the modular unit can be connected to the first connecting section of the identically constructed further modular unit. The fact that the modular unit can be connected to the second connecting section of the identically constructed further modular unit with the first connecting section and can be connected to the first connecting section of the identically constructed further modular unit with the second connecting section ensures that each frame unit of the frame device can be constructed using identically constructed modular units. An identically constructed further modular unit is constructed in the same way as the modular unit.According to the present invention, the module units are therefore preferably constructed identically, which can also be referred to as being identically designed. The fact that the module units are preferably constructed identically ensures that the module units can be manufactured particularly efficiently, since the module units can be manufactured, for example, using the same tool, such as an injection molding tool. The identically constructed further module unit, with the second connecting section of which the first connecting section of the module unit can be connected or is connected in the connected state, can also be referred to as the first further module unit. The identically constructed further module unit, with the first connecting section of which the second connecting section of the module unit can be connected or is connected in the connected state, can also be referred to as the second further module unit.
[0009] As also already described, the first connecting section of the module unit and the second connecting section of the module unit are designed such that both the first connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the second connecting section of the identically constructed further module unit in such a way that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running transversely to one another, and the second connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the first connecting section of the identically constructed further module unit in such a way that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running transversely to one another.that the first connecting section of the module unit and the second connecting section of the module unit are designed in such a way that both the first connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the second connecting section of an identically constructed further module unit in such a way that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running transversely to one another, and the second connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the first connecting section of an identically constructed further module unit in such a way that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running transversely to one another, it is ensured that each frame unit of the frame device, which is constructed using identically constructed modular units, can be formed both along an extension direction of the frame unit by the identically constructed modular units, wherein the extension direction of the frame unit runs along the same straight line along which the extension directions of the modular units also run, and can be connected to other frame units whose extension directions run transversely to the extension direction of the frame unit, using the modular units.
[0010] For example, the first connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the second connecting section of an identically constructed further module unit in such a way that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit run along the same straight line. Using module units connected to one another in this way, frame units of different lengths can be produced. Furthermore, for example, the second connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the first connecting section of an identically constructed further module unit in such a way that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit run along two straight lines running perpendicular to one another. Using module units connected to one another in this way, different frame units can be connected to one another. For example, the further module unit and the module unit can be module units of a frame unit, which can also be referred to as the first frame unit. For example, the further module unit and the module unit can be module units of a frame unit, which can also be referred to as the second frame unit. The first frame unit and the second frame unit are preferably connected by means of the module units such that the extension directions of the frame units run transversely to one another.
[0011] Using the modular unit according to the invention, a frame unit can be formed from several identically designed modular units, which significantly simplifies the production of the modular units and the frame unit. Furthermore, using the modular units according to the invention, frame units of different lengths can be produced. Furthermore, using the modular units according to the invention, different frame units can also be connected to one another, which significantly simplifies the overall structure of the frame device.
[0012] In summary, it can be stated that differently designed frame devices can be provided in a particularly simple manner using the modular unit according to the invention.
[0013] In one embodiment, the first connecting section of the module unit and the second connecting section of the module unit are designed such that both the first connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the second connecting section of an identically constructed further module unit such that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running perpendicular to each other, and the second connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the first connecting section of an identically constructed further module unit such that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running perpendicular to each other.that the first connecting section of the module unit and the second connecting section of the module unit are designed in such a way that both the first connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the second connecting section of an identically constructed further module unit in such a way that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running perpendicular to each other, and the second connecting section of the module unit can be connected to the first connecting section of an identically constructed further module unit in such a way that the extension direction of the module unit and the extension direction of the further module unit either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running perpendicular to each other, it is ensured that each frame unit of the frame device, which is constructed using identically constructed modular units, can be formed both along the direction of extension of the frame unit by the identically constructed modular units, whereby the direction of extension of the frame unit runs along the same straight line along which the directions of extension of the modular units also run, and can also be connected to other frame units whose directions of extension run perpendicular to the direction of extension of the frame unit, using the modular units.
[0014] In one embodiment, the first connecting section of the module unit has a first plug-in projection, and the second connecting section of the module unit has a first plug-in recess. Because the first connecting section of the module unit has the first plug-in projection and the second connecting section of the module unit has the first plug-in recess, particularly simple connecting means are provided for connecting the module unit to other identically constructed module units.
[0015] In one embodiment, the first connecting section of the module unit has a second plug-in projection which extends transversely to the first plug-in projection. The fact that the second plug-in projection extends transversely to the first plug-in projection ensures that the module unit can either be connected to another module unit in such a way that the first plug-in projection of the module unit engages in the first plug-in recess of the another module unit, or can be connected to the another module unit in such a way that the second plug-in projection of the module unit engages in the first plug-in recess of the another module unit. In the case that the first plug-in projection of the module unit engages in the first plug-in recess of the another module unit, the module unit is arranged transversely to the module unit in the case in which the second plug-in projection of the module unit engages in the first plug-in recess of the another module unit.
[0016] In one embodiment, the second connecting section of the module unit has a second plug-in recess which extends transversely to the first plug-in recess. The fact that the second plug-in recess extends transversely to the first plug-in recess ensures that the module unit can either be connected to a further module unit in such a way that the first plug-in projection of the further module unit engages in the first plug-in recess or can be connected to the further module unit in such a way that the first plug-in projection of the further module unit engages in the second plug-in recess, wherein in the case that the first plug-in projection of the further module unit engages in the second plug-in recess, the further module unit is arranged transversely to the further module unit in the case in which the first plug-in projection of the further module unit engages in the first plug-in recess.
[0017] In one embodiment, the first plug-in projection and the first plug-in recess are dovetail-shaped. The dovetail-shaped design of the first plug-in projection and the first plug-in recess ensures a mechanically robust connection between the module unit and other module units without the need for additional connecting means, making connecting the module units particularly user-friendly.
[0018] In one embodiment, the second plug-in projection and / or the second plug-in recess are dovetail-shaped. The dovetail-shaped design of the second plug-in projection and / or the second plug-in recess ensures a mechanically robust connection between the module unit and other module units without the need for additional connecting means, making connecting the module units particularly user-friendly.
[0019] In one embodiment, the module unit has a fastening section extending along the direction of extension, to which a section of a protective device can be attached. The fact that the fastening section extends along the direction of extension ensures that a section of the protective device can be attached to the fastening section, which, when attached to the fastening section, also extends along the direction of extension, so that a connection can be established between the module unit and the section of the protective device, in particular along the entire extension of the module unit along the direction of extension. The fastening section preferably has a contact surface which extends along a plane which runs parallel to the direction of extension, such that a section of the protective device which is attached to the fastening section and extends along the direction of extension can bear flatly against the contact surface at least in sections. The fact that the section of the protective device which is attached to the fastening section and extends along the direction of extension can bear flatly against the contact surface at least in sections preferably ensures that the protective device can extend particularly flatly between the frame units in the assembled state. The plane along which the contact surface of the fastening section extends preferably runs perpendicular to the plane along which the first contact surface extends. In addition to the contact surface, the fastening section preferably has a plurality of elevations extending away from the contact surface, wherein each elevation preferably extends perpendicular to the direction of extension away from the contact surface. The fact that each elevation extends perpendicular to the direction of extension away from the contact surface ensures that the section of the protective device is secured against slipping relative to the module unit along the direction of extension and is generally secured against slipping parallel to the contact surface. Each elevation preferably tapers to a point when viewed from the contact surface towards a free end of the elevation. The fact that each elevation tapers to a point when viewed from the contact surface towards the free end of the elevation ensures that the section of the protective device can be connected to the module unit particularly easily.Preferably, the elevations are arranged one behind the other along the direction of extension, so that the section of the protective device can be connected to the module unit at several sections along the entire extension of the module unit using the elevations. Preferably, the elevations are arranged on a side of the contact surface facing an edge running along the direction of extension. The fact that the elevations are arranged on a side of the contact surface facing the edge running along the direction of extension ensures that when, during assembly of the protective system, a protective device blank is first attached to the frame units of the frame device and then, with the aid of a cutting tool which is guided along the edges of the module units in order to cut off a projecting area of the protective device blank in order to form the protective device, a section of the protective device which is not required for the protective system can be kept particularly small in the assembled state.
[0020] According to a second aspect of the invention, the stated object is achieved by a frame device having the features of patent claim 9. The frame device has a plurality of frame units. Each frame unit of the plurality of frame units has a plurality of interconnected modular units. Each modular unit of the modular units is a modular unit according to the first aspect of the invention. The features, technical effects and / or advantages described in connection with the modular unit according to the first aspect of the invention also apply at least analogously to the frame device according to the second aspect of the invention, so that a corresponding repetition is omitted here.
[0021] According to a third aspect of the invention, the stated object is achieved by a protection system having the features of patent claim 10. The protection system comprises a frame device according to the second aspect of the invention and a protective device which is fastened to the frame units of the frame device and extends between the frame units. Because the protective device is fastened to the frame units of the frame device and extends between the frame units, a recess defined by the frame device can be concealed with the aid of the protective device. Preferably, the protective device is elastically deformable and can be brought into an elastically deformed state. Preferably, the protective device is in the elastically deformed state when it is fastened to the frame units, so that the protective device extends mechanically prestressed along a plane.Preferably, the protective device is an insect screen or has an insect screen, or is a sun visor or has a sun visor. Preferably, the protection system can also be designed as an insect protection system, pollen protection system, fine dust protection system, or temperature protection system and referred to accordingly. The features, technical effects, and / or advantages described in connection with the modular unit according to the first aspect of the invention and the features, technical effects, and / or advantages described in connection with the frame device according to the second aspect of the invention also apply at least analogously to the protection system according to the third aspect of the invention, so that a corresponding repetition is omitted here.

The frame device 1 is provided for a protection system (not shown). The protection system comprises the frame device 1 and a protective device which is fastened to the frame units of the frame device 1 and extends between the frame units. As a result, that the protective device is attached to the frame units of the frame device 1 and extends between the frame units, a recess defined by the frame device 1 can be concealed with the aid of the protective device. Preferably, the protective device is elastically deformable and can be brought into an elastically deformed state. Preferably, the protective device is in the elastically deformed state when it is attached to the frame units, so that the protective device extends mechanically prestressed along a plane. Preferably, the protective system can also be used as an insect protection system, pollen protection system, fine dust protection system,A temperature protection system is designed and labeled accordingly. Each module unit 5 of the module units of each frame unit 3 of the multiple frame units is a module unit 5, which will be discussed in more detail below.
[0029] The modular unit 5 is configured for a frame unit 3 of the multiple frame units of the frame device 1. The modular unit 5 extends from a first connecting section 7 along an extension direction 9 to a second connecting section 11. Using the first connecting section 7, the modular unit 5 can be connected to a second connecting section 11 of an identically constructed further modular unit 5, which can also be referred to as the first further modular unit. Using the second connecting section 11, the modular unit 5 can be connected to a first connecting section 7 of an identically constructed further modular unit 5, which can also be referred to as the second further modular unit. The fact that the modular unit 5 can be connected to the first connecting section 7 with a second connecting section 11 of an identically constructed further modular unit 5 and can be connected to the second connecting section 11 with a first connecting section 7 of an identically constructed further modular unit 5 ensures that each frame unit 3 of the frame device 1 can be constructed using identically constructed modular units. An identically constructed further modular unit 5 is constructed in the same way as the modular unit 5. According to the present invention, the modular units are therefore identically constructed, which can also be referred to as being identically designed. The fact that the modular units are constructed identically ensures that the modular units can be manufactured particularly efficiently, as the modular units can be manufactured using the same tool, such as an injection molding tool.
[0030] The first connecting section 7 of the module unit 5 and the second connecting section 11 of the module unit 5 are designed such that both the first connecting section 7 of the module unit 5 can be connected to the second connecting section 11 of an identically constructed further module unit 5 such that the extension direction 9 of the module unit 5 and the extension direction 9 of the further module unit 5 either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running transversely to one another, and the second connecting section 11 of the module unit 5 can be connected to the first connecting section 7 of an identically constructed further module unit 5 such that the extension direction 9 of the module unit 5 and the extension direction 9 of the further module unit 5 either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running transversely to one another. As a result, that the first connecting section 7 of the module unit 5 and the second connecting section 11 of the module unit 5 are designed in such a way that both the first connecting section 7 of the module unit 5 can be connected to the second connecting section 11 of an identically constructed further module unit 5 in such a way that the extension direction 9 of the module unit 5 and the extension direction 9 of the further module unit 5 either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running transversely to one another, and the second connecting section 11 of the module unit 5 can be connected to the first connecting section 7 of an identically constructed further module unit 5 in such a way that the extension direction 9 of the module unit 5 and the extension direction 9 of the further module unit 5 either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running transversely to one another, is ensured, that each frame unit 3 of the frame device 1, which is constructed using identically constructed modular units, can be formed both along an extension direction of the frame unit 3 by the identically constructed modular units, wherein the extension direction of the frame unit 3 runs along the same straight line along which the extension directions of the modular units also run, and can also be connected to further frame units, whose extension directions run transversely to the extension direction of the frame unit 3, using the modular units. Figure 3 shows an example of the situation in which the first connecting section 7 of the modular unit 5 shown at the top right is connected to the second connecting section 11 of the identically constructed further modular unit 5 shown at the top left in such a way thatthat the extension direction 9 of the module unit 5 and the extension direction 9 of the further module unit 5 run along the same straight line. Using module units connected in this way, frame units of different lengths can be produced. Furthermore, Figure 3 shows, as an example, the situation in which the second connecting section 11 of the module unit 5 shown at the top right is connected to the first connecting section 7 of the identically constructed further module unit 5 shown at the bottom right in such a way that the extension direction 9 of the module unit 5 and the extension direction 9 of the further module unit 5 run along two straight lines running transversely to each other. Using module units connected in this way, different frame units can be connected to each other. The further module unit 5 shown at the top left and the module unit 5 shown at the top right are module units of a frame unit 3.which can also be referred to as the first frame unit, and the further module unit 5 shown at the bottom right is a module unit 5 of a frame unit 3, which can also be referred to as the second frame unit. The first frame unit and the second frame unit are connected here using the module units so that the extension directions of the frame units run transversely to each other.
[0031] In the embodiment of the modular unit 5 according to the invention, shown in particular in Figures 5, 6 and 7, the straight lines run transversely to one another such that the straight lines run perpendicular to one another. The first connecting section 7 of the modular unit 5 and the second connecting section 11 of the modular unit 5 are designed such that both the first connecting section 7 of the modular unit 5 can be connected to the second connecting section 11 of an identically constructed further modular unit 5 such that the extension direction 9 of the modular unit 5 and the extension direction 9 of the further modular unit 5 either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running perpendicular to one another, and the second connecting section 11 of the modular unit 5 can be connected to the first connecting section 7 of an identically constructed further modular unit 5 such thatthat the extension direction 9 of the module unit 5 and the extension direction 9 of the further module unit 5 either run along the same straight line or along two mutually perpendicular straight lines. Because the first connecting section 7 of the module unit 5 and the second connecting section 11 of the module unit 5 are designed such that both the first connecting section 7 of the module unit 5 can be connected to the second connecting section 11 of an identically constructed further module unit 5 such that the extension direction 9 of the module unit 5 and the extension direction 9 of the further module unit 5 either run along the same straight line or along two mutually perpendicular straight lines, and the second connecting section 11 of the module unit 5 can be connected to the first connecting section 7 of an identically constructed further module unit 5 such thatthat the direction of extension 9 of the module unit 5 and the direction of extension 9 of the further module unit 5 either run along the same straight line or along two straight lines running perpendicular to each other, it is ensured that each frame unit 3 of the frame device 1, which is constructed using identically constructed module units, can be formed both along the direction of extension of the frame unit 3 by the identically constructed module units, wherein the direction of extension of the frame unit 3 runs along the same straight line along which the directions of extension of the module units also run, and can be connected to further frame units, whose directions of extension run perpendicular to the direction of extension of the frame unit 3, using the module units.
[0032] 5, 6 and 7, the first connecting section 7 of the module unit 5 has a first plug-in projection 13 and the second connecting section 11 of the module unit 5 has a first plug-in recess 15. The fact that the first connecting section 7 of the module unit 5 has the first plug-in projection 13 and the second connecting section 11 of the module unit 5 has the first plug-in recess 15 provides particularly simply constructed connecting means for connecting the module unit 5 to other identically constructed module units. In addition, in the embodiment of the module unit 5 according to the invention shown in particular in FIGS. 5, 6 and 7, the second connecting section 11 of the module unit 5 has a second plug-in recess 17 which extends transversely to the first plug-in recess 15.The fact that the second plug-in recess 17 extends transversely to the first plug-in recess 15 ensures that the module unit 5 can either be connected to a further module unit 5 in such a way that the first plug-in projection 13 of the further module unit 5 engages in the first plug-in recess 15 or can be connected to the further module unit 5 in such a way that the first plug-in projection 13 of the further module unit 5 engages in the second plug-in recess 17, wherein in the case that the first plug-in projection 13 of the further module unit 5 engages in the second plug-in recess 17, the further module unit 5 is arranged transversely to the further module unit 5 in the case in which the first plug-in projection 13 of the further module unit 5 engages in the first plug-in recess 15.
[0033] Furthermore, in an embodiment of the module unit 5 according to the invention (not shown), the first connecting section 7 of the module unit 5 has a second plug-in projection which extends transversely to the first plug-in projection 13.The fact that the second plug-in projection extends transversely to the first plug-in projection 13 ensures that the module unit 5 can either be connected to a further module unit 5 in such a way that the first plug-in projection 13 of the module unit 5 engages in the first plug-in recess 15 of the further module unit 5 or can be connected to the further module unit 5 in such a way that the second plug-in projection of the module unit 5 engages in the first plug-in recess 15 of the further module unit 5, wherein in the case that the first plug-in projection 13 of the module unit 5 engages in the first plug-in recess 15 of the further module unit 5, the module unit 5 is arranged transversely to the module unit 5 in the case in which the second plug-in projection of the module unit 5 engages in the first plug-in recess 15 of the further module unit 5.
[0034] In the embodiment of the module unit 5 according to the invention shown in particular in Figures 5, 6 and 7, the first plug-in projection 13, the first plug-in recess 15 and the second plug-in recess 17 are dovetail-shaped. The fact that the first plug-in projection 13, the first plug-in recess 15 and the second plug-in recess 17 are dovetail-shaped ensures a mechanically robust connection between the module unit 5 and other module units without the need for additional connecting means, so that connecting the module units is particularly user-friendly. In the embodiment of the module unit 5 according to the invention not shown, the first plug-in projection 13, the second plug-in projection and the first plug-in recess 15 are dovetail-shaped.Because the first plug-in projection 13, the second plug-in projection and the first plug-in recess 15 are dovetail-shaped, a mechanically robust connection between the module unit 5 and other module units is ensured without the need for additional connecting means, so that the connection of the module units is particularly user-friendly.
[0035] As shown particularly in Figures 5, 6, and 7, the module unit 5 has a first contact surface 19 on the side of the first connecting section 7, which extends along a first plane running perpendicular to the direction of extension 9. Furthermore, the module unit 5 has a second contact surface 21 on the side of the second connecting section 11, which extends along a second plane running perpendicular to the direction of extension 9 and parallel to the first plane. With the aid of the first contact surface 19, the module unit 5 can, in a connected state, bear against the second contact surface 21 of another module unit 5, so that the connection between the module unit 5 and the other module unit 5 is mechanically particularly robust. With the aid of the second contact surface 21, the module unit 5 can, in a connected state, bear against the first contact surface 19 of another module unit 5.so that the connection between the module unit 5 and the further module unit 5 is mechanically particularly robust. Viewed opposite to the direction of extension 9, two dovetail legs extend away from the first contact surface 19 in such a way that a distance running perpendicular to the direction of extension 9 and parallel to the first contact surface 19 between a first dovetail leg 23 of the two dovetail legs and a second dovetail leg 25 of the two dovetail legs increases with increasing distance from the first contact surface 19. Because the distance running perpendicular to the direction of extension 9 and parallel to the first contact surface 19 between the first dovetail leg 23 and the second dovetail leg 25 increases with increasing distance from the first contact surface 19,the first dovetail leg 23 and the second dovetail leg 25 define a cavity 27 between them, into which the first dovetail leg 23 and the second dovetail leg 25 can be deformed by elastic deformation of the first dovetail leg 23 and the second dovetail leg 25, so that in the connected state the first dovetail leg 23 and the second dovetail leg 25 can be elastically deformed,so that in the connected state, a particularly play-free force connection can be ensured by a force-fitting engagement of the first dovetail leg 23 of the module unit 5 on a first dovetail contact surface 29 of the second connecting section 11 of a further module unit 5 (see Figure 5) and of the second dovetail leg 25 of the module unit 5 on a second dovetail contact surface 31 of the second connecting section 11 of the further module unit 5 (see Figure 5) between the module unit 5 and each further module unit 5.
[0036] A reinforcing section 33 extends between the first dovetail leg 23 and the second dovetail leg 25. The reinforcing section 33 is connected to the first dovetail leg 23 and to the second dovetail leg 25 in such a way that when the first dovetail leg 23 and the second dovetail leg 25 are deformed into the cavity 27 by elastic deformation of the first dovetail leg 23 and the second dovetail leg 25, a compressive force from the first dovetail leg 23 and from the second dovetail leg 25 acts on the reinforcing section 33.The reinforcement section 33 thus reduces deformation of the first dovetail leg 23 and the second dovetail leg 25 into the cavity 27 when the first dovetail leg 23 and the second dovetail leg 25 are loaded in the direction of the cavity 27, so that in the connected state the frictional connection between the first dovetail leg 23 of the module unit 5 and the first dovetail contact surface 29 of the second connecting section 11 of the further module unit 5 and between the second dovetail leg 25 of the module unit 5 and the second dovetail contact surface 31 of the second connecting section 11 of the further module unit 5 is designed to be particularly robust mechanically.
[0037] Furthermore, the module unit 5 has a fastening section 35 extending along the direction of extension 9, to which a section of a protective device can be attached. The fact that the fastening section 35 extends along the direction of extension 9 ensures that a section of the protective device can be attached to the fastening section 35, which, when attached to the fastening section 35, also extends along the direction of extension 9, so that a connection can be established between the module unit 5 and the section of the protective device, in particular along the entire extent of the module unit 5 along the direction of extension 9.The fastening section 35 has a contact surface 37 that extends along a plane that runs parallel to the direction of extension 9, so that a section of the protective device that is attached to the fastening section 35 and extends along the direction of extension 9 can at least partially rest flatly against the contact surface 37. The fact that the section of the protective device that is attached to the fastening section 35 and extends along the direction of extension 9 can at least partially rest flatly against the contact surface 37 ensures that the protective device can extend particularly flatly between the frame units in the assembled state. In addition, the plane along which the contact surface 37 of the fastening section 35 extends runs perpendicular to the plane along which the first contact surface 19 extends. In addition to the contact surface 37, the fastening section 35 has a plurality of elevations extending away from the contact surface 37, wherein each elevation 39 extends perpendicular to the direction of extension 9 away from the contact surface 37. The fact that each elevation 39 extends perpendicular to the direction of extension 9 away from the contact surface 37 ensures that the section of the protective device is secured against slipping relative to the module unit 5 along the direction of extension 9 and is generally secured against slipping parallel to the contact surface 37. Each elevation 39 tapers to a point from the contact surface 37 towards a free end of the elevation 39. The fact that each elevation 39 tapers to a point from the contact surface 37 towards the free end of the elevation 39 ensures that the section of the protective device can be connected to the module unit 5 particularly easily.Furthermore, the elevations are arranged one behind the other along the direction of extension 9, so that the section of the protective device can be connected to the module unit 5 at several sections along the entire extension of the module unit 5 using the elevations. Furthermore, the elevations are arranged on a side of the contact surface 37 facing an edge 41 running along the direction of extension 9.The fact that the elevations are arranged on a side of the contact surface 37 facing the edge 41 running along the direction of extension 9 ensures that when, during assembly of the protective system, a protective device blank is first fastened to the frame units of the frame device 1 and then, with the aid of a cutting tool which is guided along the edges of the module units in order to cut off a projecting area of the protective device blank in order to form the protective device, a section of the protective device which is not required for the protective system can be kept particularly small in the assembled state.
[0038] In addition, the module unit 5 has a guide groove 43 extending along the direction of extension 9. Using the guide groove 43, the cutting tool can be guided particularly reliably along the direction of extension 9, guiding the cutting tool along the edges of the module units to cut off a protruding area of the protective device blank, thus ensuring an optimally shaped edge area of the protective device. A leg defining the guide groove 43 forms the contact surface 37 on a side facing away from the guide groove 43, thus providing a particularly material-saving module unit 5.The fastening section 35 can deform elastically in a direction perpendicular to the contact surface 37, so that the protective device, of which the section is attached to the fastening section 35, can be attached in a tensioning manner, in particular at least temporarily, to the frame units of the frame device 1 even if the protective device itself is not elastically deformable or is only slightly elastically deformable, in particular linearly.
[0039] In addition, the module unit 5 has a further contact surface 45 which extends along a plane which runs parallel to the extension direction 9, so that a section of the protective device which is attached to the fastening section 35 and extends along the extension direction 9 can rest flatly against the further contact surface 45, at least in sections.
[0040] The fact that the section of the protective device that is attached to the fastening section 35 and extends along the direction of extension 9 can at least partially rest flatly against the further contact surface 45 ensures that the protective device can extend particularly flatly between the frame units in the assembled state. Furthermore, the plane along which the further contact surface 45 extends runs perpendicular to the plane along which the first contact surface 19 extends and perpendicular to the plane along which the contact surface 37 extends. The fact that the further contact surface 45 extends perpendicular to the plane along which the contact surface 37 extends and the elevations extend away from the contact surface 37 ensures that the connection between the section of the protective device and the module unit 5 and overall the connection between the protective device and the frame units of the frame device 1 is designed to be particularly robust mechanically.
[0041] Figure 8 shows a schematic representation of a section of a protection system comprising the frame device 1 shown in Figure 1. The section shown is a protection unit 47, which can also be referred to as a rubber bead or rubber seal. The protection unit 47 has a base body 51 extending along an extension direction 49. In addition, the protection unit 47 has a first fastening section 53, which also extends along the extension direction 49 and extends perpendicular to the extension direction 49 from the base body 51 to a free first end 55, which also extends along the extension direction 49.In addition, the protective unit 47 has a second fastening section 57, which also extends along the extension direction 49 and extends perpendicular to the extension direction 49 from the base body 51 to a free second end 59, which also extends along the extension direction 49. A recess 61 is defined between the first fastening section 53 and the second fastening section 57, such that the protective unit 47 can accommodate the fastening section 35 by arranging the protective unit 47 such that the fastening section 35 is arranged in the recess 61. In addition, the protective unit 47 can be arranged such that the second fastening section 57 is arranged in the guide groove 43. Thus, if a section of the protective device is attached to the fastening section 35, the section of the protective device can be secured to the fastening section 35 with the aid of the protective unit 47.Preferably, the protective unit 47 or at least the first fastening section 53 and the second fastening section 57 is elastically deformable and, when the protective unit 47 is attached to the fastening section 35, is in an elastically deformed state, such that a holding force acting in a direction toward the recess 61 is provided by the protective unit 47 or at least by the first fastening section 53 and the second fastening section 57.
