Abstract
Description
[0001] Cable fastening device
[0002] The invention relates to a cable fastening device for a cable arrangement with a cable receiving body for receiving the cable arrangement and with an anchoring body for anchoring the cable fastening device in a through-hole of an electromagnetic shielding plate.
[0003] German patent DE 10 2021 123 068 B4 discloses a cable fastening device for a wiring harness, comprising an anchoring part and a receiving part designed to directly receive a cable of the wiring harness. The receiving part is attached to the anchoring part in a relatively pivotable manner by means of a ball joint connection. German patent application DE 10 2022 101 878 A1 discloses an electrically operable axle drive train for a motor vehicle, comprising an electric machine that can be powered by power electronics and a transmission arrangement, wherein EMC shielding is integrated into the housing structures of the axle drive train.
[0004] The object of the invention is to simplify a cable fastening device according to the preamble of patent claim 1 with regard to electromagnetic shielding.
[0005] The object is achieved in a cable fastening device for a cable arrangement, comprising a cable receiving body for receiving the cable arrangement and an anchoring body for anchoring the cable fastening device in a through-hole of an electromagnetic shielding plate, in that an electromagnetic shielding device that electrically contacts the electromagnetic shielding plate is integrated into the cable fastening device. The cable fastening device is preferably formed primarily from a plastic material. The cable receiving body advantageously serves to clamp and hold the cable arrangement. The cable arrangement can comprise one cable. The cable arrangement can also comprise several cables, for example in the manner of a cable harness. The shielding plate serves to represent EMC shielding, the capital letters EMC being an abbreviation for electromagnetic compatibility. For this purpose, the shielding plate is advantageously made of a suitable metal material. Such a metallic shielding plate serves, for example, to shield a low-voltage area from a high-voltage area. While the through-hole in the shielding plate simplifies anchoring the cable fastening device to the shielding plate with the anchoring body in the through-hole, the shielding properties are significantly impaired by the through-hole in the shielding plate. This disadvantage is compensated for by the electromagnetic shielding device integrated into the cable fastening device. This advantageously eliminates the need for an additional retaining plate for attaching the cable fastening device to the shielding plate.
[0006] A preferred embodiment of the cable fastening device is characterized in that the electromagnetic shielding device comprises a shielding plate integrated into a fastening clip made of a plastic material. The shielding plate is formed of the same or a similar material with similar electromagnetic shielding properties as the shielding plate. The shielding plate advantageously serves to improve the shielding properties impaired by the through-hole in the shielding plate. The disadvantage of an additional component made of a different material is consciously accepted. The fastening clip made of the plastic material is advantageously manufactured by injection molding. This allows the fastening clip to be produced cost-effectively in large quantities.
[0007] A further preferred embodiment of the cable fastening device is characterized in that the shielding plate covers the through-hole in the shielding plate in an electromagnetically shielding manner. The shape and size of the shielding plate are advantageously adapted to the shape and size of the through-hole. The shielding plate is advantageously designed to be somewhat larger than the through-hole in the shielding plate to ensure that the shielding plate completely covers the through-hole in the shielding plate. If the through-hole is circular, the shielding plate preferably has the shape of a circular disk. A diameter of this circular disk is advantageously somewhat larger than a diameter of the through-hole.
[0008] A further preferred embodiment of the cable fastening device is characterized in that the shielding plate is integrated into a contact flange between the anchoring body and the cable receiving body. The contact flange advantageously serves to ensure a defined contact of the cable fastening device with the shielding plate. The accommodation of the shielding plate in the contact flange provides, among other advantages, that the shielding plate is automatically positioned correctly over the through hole in the shielding plate during assembly of the cable fastening device.
[0009] A further preferred embodiment of the cable fastening device is characterized in that the shielding plate is cast into the plastic material constituting the fastening clip, wherein a peripheral edge of the shielding plate, preferably protruding from the plastic material and remaining free from the plastic material, rests against the shielding plate in an electrically contacting manner. The fastening clip made of the plastic material is, as already described, preferably produced using an injection molding process. During injection molding, the shielding plate is advantageously inserted into a corresponding injection molding tool. This considerably simplifies the manufacture of the fastening clip with the shielding plate. The peripheral edge of the shielding plate remaining free from the plastic material advantageously serves to contact the shielding plate. The shielding plate is preferably slightly curved, essentially in the form of a disc spring, so that the peripheral edge remaining free of the plastic material is automatically pressed against the shielding plate during assembly of the cable fastening device and is thus securely held in contact with the shielding plate.
[0010] A further preferred embodiment of the cable fastening device is characterized in that the shielding plate comprises at least one through-hole penetrated by the plastic material that integrally connects the anchoring body to the cable receiving body. In this way, the shielding plate is held securely in the fastening clip made of the plastic material in a simple manner. The shielding plate advantageously comprises several through-holes, for example four through-holes, which are arranged essentially rectangularly, for example. The through-holes are advantageously so small and arranged that the desired penetration of the plastic material is enabled during injection molding, but without significantly impairing the desired electromagnetic shielding effect. This means that the through-holes in the shielding plate are significantly smaller than the through-hole in the shielding plate. In this context, significantly smaller means that the through-hole in the shielding plate is at least ten times, preferably fifteen or twenty times, as large as a through-hole in the shielding plate.
[0011] A further preferred embodiment of the cable fastening device is characterized in that the shielding plate is accommodated in a receptacle in the fastening clip. In this embodiment, the fastening clip is injection-molded from the plastic material without the shielding plate. The shielding plate is only subsequently inserted into the injection-molded fastening clip. This simplifies the injection-molding process. However, an additional assembly step is required to insert the shielding plate into the receptacle.
[0012] A further preferred embodiment of the cable fastening device is characterized in that the shielding plate is combined with a contact spring, which is designed and angled from the shielding plate such that the contact spring rests against the shielding plate in electrical contact. The contact spring is advantageously elastically preloaded with a free end against the shielding plate to ensure that contact between the shielding plate and the shielding plate is maintained when the cable fastening device is attached to the shielding plate.
[0013] A further preferred embodiment of the cable fastening device is characterized in that the anchoring body is designed like a fir tree, with the cable receiving body having the shape of a large omega. This significantly simplifies the attachment of both the cable fastening device to the shielding plate and the attachment of the cable assembly to the cable fastening device. The invention further relates to a fastening clip and / or a shielding device for a cable fastening device as described above. These parts are available separately.
[0014] The invention may also relate to an electric machine of a motor vehicle driven by the machine, comprising power electronics and a cable harness connecting the power electronics to the electric machine, wherein the cable harness is fastened to a shielding plate in an EMC-critical area by means of a cable fastening device as described above.
[0015] Further advantages, features, and details of the invention will become apparent from the following description, in which various embodiments are described in detail with reference to the drawings. They show:

[0023] Figure 9 shows the cable fastening device from Figure 8 mounted on a shielding plate in a longitudinal section.
[0024] Figures 1 to 5 and 6 to 9 show two exemplary embodiments of a cable fastening device 1 in different views and states. Figure 4 shows a cable arrangement 2, which is designed, for example, as a cable harness with a plurality of cables 3.
[0025] Figures 1 and 6 illustrate that the cable fastening device 1 is attached to a shielding plate 4. Figures 5 and 9 show that the shielding plate 4 is provided with a through-hole 5 for receiving and securing the cable fastening device 1. The through-hole 5 is designed, for example, as a bore in the shielding plate 4.
[0026] The following first describes the similarities between the two exemplary embodiments. The differences between the two exemplary embodiments are then discussed. The first exemplary embodiment of Figures 1 to 5 is described using reference numerals 10 to 17. The second exemplary embodiment of Figures 6 to 9 is described using reference numerals 20 to 27.
[0027] The cable fastening device 1 comprises a fastening clip 10; 20. The fastening clip 10; 20 comprises a cable receiving body 11; 21 in the shape of an omega. The cable receiving body 11; 21 serves, as can be seen in Figure 4, to receive the cable arrangement 2. The anchoring body 12; 22 serves to stably anchor the fastening clip 10; 20 in the through-hole 5 of the shielding plate 4, as can be seen in Figures 5 and 9. Between the cable receiving body 11; 21 and the anchoring body 12; 22, the fastening clip 10; 20 comprises a contact flange 13; 23. The contact flange 13; 23 simplifies the assembly of the fastening clip 10; 20. If the contact flange 13; 23 rests on the shielding plate 4, is the fastening clip 10;
[0028] 20 correctly installed.
[0029] In contrast to conventional fastening clips, the fastening clips 10; 20 are combined with an electromagnetic shielding device 14; 24. The electrical shielding device 14; 24 comprises a shielding plate 15; 25, which is integrated into the contact flange 13; 23.
[0030] Figure 3 shows the shield plate 15 alone in perspective. The shield plate 15 is slightly curved and equipped with a total of four through holes 17. Figures 4 and 5 show how the shield plate 15 is encapsulated with the plastic material from which the fastening clip 10 is cast.
[0031] The plastic material penetrates the through-holes 17 in the shielding plate 15, thus creating a one-piece connection between the cable receiving body 11 and the anchoring body 12 through the shielding plate 15. The through-holes 17 in the shielding plate 15 are designed so small that the desired electromagnetic shielding effect is not, or not significantly, restricted by the shielding plate 15.
[0032] Figure 5 shows that the shielding plate 15 of the shielding device 14 completely covers the through-hole 5 in the shielding plate 4 when the fastening clip 10 is mounted. The peripheral edge 16 of the shielding plate 15 protruding from the plastic material rests against the shielding plate 4 in such a way that the desired electrical contact between the shielding plate 15 and the shielding plate 4 is permanently maintained when the fastening clip 10 is mounted.
[0033] In the embodiment shown in Figures 6 to 9, the shielding device 24 comprises, in addition to the shielding plate 25, which covers the through-hole 5 in the shielding plate 4 when the fastening clip 20 is mounted, a contact spring 26. The contact spring 26 is angled away from the shielding plate 25 and, when the fastening clip 20 is mounted, partially rests against the shielding plate 4 in order to make electrical contact therewith.
[0034] Figure 7 shows that the shielding device 24 is inserted into a corresponding receptacle 27 only after the fastening clip 20 has been produced. The shielding plate 25 is completely received in the contact flange 23. The contact spring 26 protrudes from the contact flange 23. Figure 9 shows how the contact spring 26 is held in contact with the shielding plate 4 in the through-hole 5 by the anchoring body 22.
