Abstract

The present invention provides a handle capable of suppressing generation of sink marks on a front surface of a handle body. Handles and wiring equipment

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a handle and a wiring device, and more particularly to a handle provided in a wiring device for operating a switch that controls a load, and a wiring device provided with such a handle and a switch.

[0002] In the handle described in Patent Document 1, a colored base portion is formed by primary molding, and then a colorless surface layer is formed on the front surface of the base portion by secondary molding (i.e., a handle with a two-layer structure is formed). In this handle, if there is a thick portion such as a tab on the back surface (rear surface) of the base portion during primary molding of the base portion, a sink mark (indentation) may occur on the front surface of the base portion at a position corresponding to the thick portion. The sink mark that occurs on the front surface of the base portion becomes less noticeable when the front side of the base portion and the surface layer are fused and bonded to each other during secondary molding of the surface layer.

Claims

1. A handle provided in a wiring device for operating a switch that controls a load, the handle comprising a handle body that is a molded product of synthetic resin, and a surface of the handle body that faces the switch having a protrusion and a recessed portion that is a space secured in at least one of the protrusion and an area adjacent to the protrusion.

2. A handle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the protrusion is a protrusion on the main body side that fits into an insertion hole in the switch, and the recessed portion is a notch provided in a wall portion formed in at least a part of the area.

3. A handle as described in claim 2, wherein the protrusion is formed near the end of the handle body, which is the end of the handle body; the region is a first region between the end of the body on the opposing surface and the protrusion; the wall is a first wall formed in the first region; and the cutout is a first cutout that is a space secured in a portion of the first wall corresponding to the first region.

4. A handle as described in claim 3, wherein the opposing surface further has a fitting portion that fits with a protrusion on the switch, and a second recessed portion that is a space provided in a second wall portion that is part of the fitting portion or is formed in the vicinity of the fitting portion.

5. A handle as set forth in claim 4, wherein the second wall portion is a side wall that is part of the fitting portion, and the second recessed portion is a hole provided in the side wall.

6. A handle as described in claim 5, wherein the opposing surface further has a second protruding portion located between the first protruding portion and the fitting portion, and a third recessed portion which is a space secured in a second region adjacent to the second protruding portion.

7. A handle as claimed in claim 6, wherein the handle body has an opening, and further comprises a lid portion which is a molded product of synthetic resin and is attached to the opposing surface of the handle body so as to close the opening, the second protrusion is a protrusion for positioning the lid portion on the opposing surface, and the lid portion has: a third protrusion which is positioned in proximity to the second protrusion on the opposing surface when the lid portion is attached to the opposing surface; and a fourth recessed portion which is a space secured near the portion of the third protrusion which is exposed through the opening.

8. The handle according to claim 7, wherein the second protrusion is formed near an open end that is an end of the opening, and the second region is adjacent to the open end and the second protrusion.

9. A handle according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the surface of the handle body opposite to the opposing surface is an operating surface that is operated by an operator.

10. The handle according to claim 9, wherein the operating surface is textured.

11. A wiring device comprising: a handle according to any one of claims 1 to 10; and the switch.
