Abstract

A shoe cover (10), including: a casing (120), for covering a shoe (210); and a plurality of holes (140A, 160A), connected to the casing (120), for threading therethrough a lace (224) of the shoe (210).

[0011] - a plurality of holes, connected to the casing (120), for threading therethrough a lace of the shoe.

[0025] DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0026] Fig. 2 schematically illustrates an exemplary spike shoe cover, according to an embodiment of the present invention. Shown in the Fig. is the shoe 210 covered by the spike shoe cover 10. The spike shoe cover 10 may be made of different materials, for example, the top 18 may be of textile while the sole 12 may be of a harder material and includes the spikes 14. The top 18 may be styled with textiles of different colors or different materials, as shown, where a different color textile 20 and a different type textile 22 are used. Also shown in the rear section of the cover 10 are tying strings 16 to tighten the cover on the shoe.

[0027] Fig. 3 schematically illustrates the exemplary spike shoe cover, according to an embodiment of the present invention. Shown in the Fig. is a view of the cover 10 from the bottom, showing the sole 12 including the spikes 14. The cover may be manufactured with different types of spikes tailored to the type of sport activity.

[0030] Shown in the figures is the shoe 210 covered by the spike shoe cover 10. The cover is divided into a front section and a back section 18 interconnected by an elastic material 32. The use of the elastic material separating the front and back sections allow adjusting the cover to the size of the shoe. A hook and loop fastener strap on each side of the cover is attached on its front end 24 to the front of the cover and on a back end 20 to a hook and loop attachment surface 30 on the rear section.

[0038] Referring again to Fig. 6, hole 140A is of a piece 140C, which is slideable (220A) along a stripe 222A, fixed to shoe casing 120, thus hole 140A is slideable along shoe casing 120. Fig. 9 depicts the stripe and piece of Fig. 6.

[0039] Elongated stripe 222A includes elongated tracks 180A and 180B; and slideable piece 140C includes complementary tracks 230A and 230B, for sliding piece 140C along stripe 222A, i.e., tracks 180A and 180B are male and tracks 230A and 230B are female, or tracks 180A and 180B are female and tracks 230A and 230B are male.

[0046] - a plurality of holes (140A, 160A), connected to the casing (120), for threading therethrough a lace (224) of the shoe (210). The holes (140A, 160A), are movable in relation to the casing (120).

[0047] The holes (140A, 160) may be movable in two axes in relation to the casing (120).

[0048] The shoe cover (10) may further include:

[0049] - an elongated opening (228).

[0050] The shoe cover (10) may further include:

[0051] - elongated stripes (222A,222B) disposed aside the elongated opening (228); and

[0052] - a plurality of pieces (140C, 160C) disposed on each of the elongated stripes (222A,222B), wherein each of the pieces includes one of the holes (140A, 160A).

[0053] Each of the elongated stripes (222A,222B) may include a track (180A), and each of the pieces (140C, 160C) may include at least one track (230A,230B) being complementary to the track (180A) of the elongated stripe (222A).

[0054] Female tracks of the tracks may be sufficiently deep for allowing disposition of the pieces vertically to the elontaged stripes (222 A).

Claims

CLAIMSWhat is claimed is:

1. A shoe cover (10), comprising:- a casing (120), for covering a shoe (210); and- a plurality of holes (140A, 160A), connected to said casing (120), for threading therethrough a lace (224) of the shoe (210).

2. The shoe cover (10) according to claims 1, wherein said holes (140A, 160A), are movable in relation to said casing (120).

3. The shoe cover (10) according to claim 1, wherein said holes (140A, 160), are movable in two axes in relation to said casing (120).

4. The shoe cover (10) according to claim 1, further comprising:- an elongated opening (228).

5. The shoe cover (10) according to claim 1, further comprising:- elongated stripes (222A,222B) disposed aside said elongated opening (228); and- a plurality of pieces (140C, 160C) disposed on each of said elongated stripes (222A,222B), wherein each of said pieces comprises one of said holes (140A, 160A).

6. The shoe cover (10) according to claim 2, wherein each of said elongated stripes (222A,222B) comprises a track (180A), and wherein each of said pieces (140C, 160C) comprises at least one track (230A,230B) being complementary to said track (180 A) of said elongated stripe (222 A).

7. The shoe cover (10) according to claim 6, wherein female tracks of said tracks are sufficiently deep for allowing disposition of the pieces, the disposition being vertical to said elongated stripes (222A).
