Abstract

Various solutions for uplink control information (UCI) reporting with minimized uplink (UL) arbitration in mobile communications are described. An apparatus may receive a first UL downlink control information (DCI) scheduling at least one physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) or physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) from a network node. The first UL DCI may include an indication of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook identity. The apparatus may multiplex UCI to the PUSCH or the PUCCH based on the first UL DCI. The UCI may include HARQ feedbacks associated with the HARQ codebook identity. Then, the apparatus may transmit the PUSCH or the PUCCH to the network node.
