Abstract

Flush toilet drainage unit

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a water closet drainage unit.

[0002] Traditionally, hand-washing basins in toilet rooms are installed above a flush tank mounted at the rear of the toilet, allowing people to wash their hands after using the toilet using water stored in the flush tank for use in flushing the toilet. However, because the wastewater from hand-washing is then used to flush the toilet, people are reluctant to wash their hands with detergent or other liquids, which could result in detergent being included in the flush water. Furthermore, toilets that do not have a flush tank at the rear of the toilet are becoming more common. For this reason, in recent years, there has been an increase in the number of toilet rooms 100 that are equipped with a separate hand-washing basin 30 in addition to the flush toilet, as shown in Figure 6.

[0003] In this case, it is common to provide a separate hand-washing drainage path 34 for the hand-washing drainage of the hand-washing basin, separate from the toilet-side drainage path for the toilet bowl, but this method requires piping work inside the building, which is time-consuming. For this reason, it has recently become preferable to merge the hand-washing drainage path 34 for the hand-washing drainage of the hand-washing basin 30 with the toilet-side drainage path, so that the hand-washing drainage and the toilet drainage can be discharged together (for example, see Patent Document 1).

Claims

1. A flush toilet drainage unit comprising: a toilet side drainage path connection part connectable to a toilet side drainage path through which toilet drainage from the toilet bowl flows; a hand wash side drainage path connection part connectable to a hand wash side drainage path through which hand wash drainage from a hand wash basin flows; a drainage junction part where the toilet drainage and the hand wash drainage join together; and a sealing part separating the inside and outside of the hand wash side drainage path connection part, wherein the sealing part and the hand wash side drainage path connection part are integrally molded.

2. A flush toilet drainage unit as described in claim 1, wherein the connecting portion of the sealing portion with the hand-washing side drainage path connecting portion is formed with a thin wall.

3. A flush toilet drainage unit as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein the hand-washing side drainage path connection portion is cylindrical, the sealing portion is provided within the tube of the hand-washing side drainage path connection portion, and has a knob portion that protrudes from the sealing portion toward the outside of the hand-washing side drainage path connection portion.

4. A flush toilet drainage unit according to claim 3, wherein the knob portion is of a height that fits within the tube of the hand-washing side drainage path connection portion.

5. A flush toilet drainage unit according to claim 2, wherein the thickness of the connecting portion of the sealing portion with the hand-washing side drainage path connecting portion is 0.1 mm to 0.4 mm.

6. A flush toilet drain unit according to claim 3, wherein the knob portion is triangular in shape in the outer circumferential direction.

7. A flush toilet drainage unit according to claim 1, wherein the sealing portion has a thin-walled molded recessed portion.

8. A flush toilet drainage unit as described in claim 1, wherein the outlet of the hand-washing side drainage path has a shielding portion that covers the outlet, and water flows from the outlet of the hand-washing side drainage path around the shielding portion and into the drainage junction.
