Abstract

Disclosed is a method (100) for manufacturing an electronic apparatus (200), comprising: providing a first portion (202) of a plastic housing and a metal portion (204); joining the first portion (202) and the metal portion (204) to create a plastic-metal joined first portion (202, 204); providing a second portion (210) of the plastic housing and an electrical component (208) with an antenna portion (206) to send and / or receive electromagnetic signals, wherein the second portion (210) comprises a radome (212); encapsulating the electrical component (208) between the plastic-metal joined first portion (202, 204) and the second portion (210), wherein the antenna portion (206) faces the radome (212) and at least one part of the electrical component (208) forms a thermal contact with the metal portion (204).
