[0092] shows that the introduction of the linear aliphatic polyamide into the pure cycloaliphatic polyamide does not affect the initial haze and transparency. The inventive compositions according to examples E1-E11 also maintain the high transparency and low haze after being corroded by ethanol. Whereas the comparative examples C1 and C2 show much lower transparency and much higher haze after being corroded by ethanol compared with the initial values of haze and transparency. A comparison of examples E1 to E11 with the comparative examples C1 and C2 clearly shows that the introduction of the linear aliphatic polyamide into the pure cycloaliphatic polyamide leads to better chemical resistance. The very good chemical resistance can be achieved therefore only by the specific blend, according to the claim, of polyamides (a) and (b) . In DSC in examples E1 to E11, only one single Tg was observed, indicating that all inventive compositions are homogeneous amorphous.

[0093] Physical, thermal and mechanical properties of the compositions of examples (E1-E11) and the composition of comparative example (C1) were determined and are presented in table 3.

[0094] As used herein, terms such as “comprise (s) ” and the like as used herein are open terms meaning 'including at least' unless otherwise specifically noted.

[0095] All references, tests, standards, documents, publications, etc. mentioned herein are incorporated herein by reference. Where a numerical limit or range is stated, the endpoints are included. Also, all values and subranges within a numerical limit or range are specifically included as if explicitly written out.

[0096] The above description is presented to enable a person skilled in the art to make and use the invention, and is provided in the context of a particular application and its requirements. Various modifications to the preferred embodiments will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art, and the generic principles defined herein may be applied to other embodiments and applications without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Thus, this invention is not intended to be limited to the embodiments shown, but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the principles and features disclosed herein. In this regard, certain embodiments within the invention may not show every benefit of the invention, considered broadly.
