[0001] This Patent Application relates to a novel “AUTOMATIC OSCILLATING SUPPORT ARM FOR GRAIN HARVESTER AUGER”, from which an oscillating “hawk” projects from the harvester platform, supported by roller bearings that allows the auger to oscillate according to the equipment's operating needs, as well as allowing, by means of horizontal and vertical displacement limiters, the application of said auger in various harvester models.

[0019] More specifically, the invention relates to an “AUTOMATIC OSCILLATING SUPPORT ARM FOR GRAIN HARVESTER AUGER”, mounted on the structure (1) of the cutting platform of a grain harvester (not shown) by means of “L” shaped bars (2) duly fixed by screws (3) and nuts (4) that embrace symmetrical and parallel side plates (5), with front “V” shaped recesses (6), compatible for seating on the structure (1) of the aforementioned cutting platform, wherein at the midpoint of said symmetrical and parallel side plates (5) there are internal roller bearings (7), which receive a shaft (8) from which projects a rocker arm, also known as a “hawk”, which represents the support arm (9) of the auger (10) that is connected to its distal end (11) attributing the oscillating movement mechanically, without without the aid of pneumatic and / or hydraulic resources, that is, only with the action of gravity and the counterforce coming from the ground.The vertical displacement (Y) of the support arm (9) is achieved through overlapping transverse limiters (12) with a central slot (13) compatible with the thickness (14) of the support arm (9) itself, whose axes (15) bolted with nuts (4) run along the upper oblong (16) and lower oblong (17) existing in the rear section of the support arm (9). In this way, it is possible to delimit the stroke / displacement of the arm (9) and, therefore, the volume of the harvested mass by adjusting the distance between the bolted axes (15) of the oblongs (16, 17), as well as allowing the use of the auger (10) in harvesters of different specifications and manufacturers. To adjust the upper transverse limiter (12), simply position it at the desired height and apply torque to the axes (15) bolted with nuts (4).The adjustment of the lower transverse limiter (12) is done by means of stud bolts (18) attached to a base (19) which, when the nuts (4) are actuated, moves the lower transverse limiter (12) with it. On the other hand, the horizontal displacement (X) of the support arm (9) is also done by means of stud bolts (18) which, actuated by the nuts (4), move a T-shaped plate (20), connected to the internal bearings (7), which run along upper (21) and lower (22) oblongs, displacing the entire support arm (9) of the spiral (10) in this direction.
