Abstract
Description
Dust collector, powder processing equipment, dust collector operating method, and powder processing equipment operating method
[0001] The present invention relates to a dust collector, a powder processing facility, a method for operating a dust collector, and a method for operating a powder processing facility.
[0002] Patent Document 1 discloses a method for operating a bag filter in which a series of dust-sweeping operations is periodically repeated, in which dust adhering to the filter cloth of the bag filter, which filters dust from the gas to be treated, is swept off using pulse jets (intermittent jets of compressed air). In this operating method, the differential pressure of the filter cloth during the dust-sweeping operation is measured at regular intervals, and when the measured differential pressure value exceeds a reference differential pressure value, the pressure of the compressed air of the pulse jet used in the dust-sweeping operation is increased to perform the dust-sweeping operation. Thereafter, when the measured differential pressure value reaches a predetermined value, the pressure of the compressed air of the pulse jet is returned to the original reference pressure, and the dust-sweeping operation is performed again.
[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-17813
[0004] When dust adhering to the surface of a bag filter is removed by injecting compressed air into the filter cloth using a pulse jet or the like, the compressed air increases the internal pressure of the filter cloth, which in turn increases the internal pressure of the dust collection unit that collects the removed dust and the target equipment (e.g., exhaust gas desuperheater, waste heat boiler, incinerator, etc.) that discharges the gas to be treated and is connected to the space in which the filter cloth is located. Repeated increases and decreases in the internal pressure of the filter cloth due to the repeated dust removal operation using compressed air and normal filtering operation can shorten the life of the filter cloth or cause deterioration or damage to the target equipment. To reduce the internal pressure inside the filter cloth when compressed air is introduced, a configuration could be considered in which multiple filter cloths are arranged to distribute the compressed air pressure, but this configuration would result in an increased size of the dust collector.
[0005] The object of the present invention is to suppress an increase in the internal pressure of the device to be treated when dust adhering to the filter is brushed off in a dust collector equipped with a filter that filters dust from the gas to be treated discharged from the device to be treated.
[0006] One aspect of the present invention is a dust collector comprising: a housing having a gas inlet for introducing a gas to be treated; a filter that filters particles contained in the gas to be treated within the housing; and a brushing mechanism that strikes the filter to knock off particles trapped on the filter. Another aspect of the present invention is a powder processing facility comprising: a powder processing vessel for introducing powder and a processing gas used to process the powder to process the powder; and the dust collector, the gas inlet of the dust collector being connected to an outlet for the processing gas provided in the powder processing vessel. Another aspect of the present invention is a method for operating the dust collector, the method comprising: filtering the particles contained in the gas to be treated introduced into the housing using the filter provided in the housing; and using the brushing mechanism to strike the filter to knock off the particles trapped on the filter. Another aspect of the present invention is a method for operating the powder processing equipment, the method including: introducing the processing gas into the powder processing vessel containing the powder to process the powder; filtering the processing gas and a portion of the powder, which are introduced into the housing from the outlet at the top of the powder processing vessel through the gas inlet provided at the bottom of the housing of the dust collector, using the filter as the gas to be processed; and striking the filter with the brushing mechanism to brush the particles, including the powder, collected on the filter into the powder processing vessel. This specification is intended to include the entire content of Japanese Patent Application No. 2024-151931, filed on September 4, 2024.
[0007] According to the present invention, in a dust collector equipped with a filtration filter that filters dust from the gas to be treated discharged from the device to be treated, it is possible to prevent an increase in the internal pressure of the device to be treated when dust adhering to the filtration filter is brushed off.

[0009] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0010] [1. Configuration of Powder Processing Equipment and Dust Collector] FIG. 1 is a diagram showing the configuration of a dust collector and powder processing equipment according to one embodiment of the present invention. The dust collector 1 is connected to a granulator 2 to constitute the powder processing equipment 3. The granulator 2 is an example of a powder processing device constituting the powder processing equipment 3. The powder processing device may be a drying device, a pulverizer, or the like. The granulator 2 is also an example of a processing target device that discharges the gas to be processed filtered by the dust collector 1. The granulator 2 is a device that granulates powders such as metal magnetic particles, ferrite particles, and dielectric particles to obtain granulated powder. The granulator 2 includes a fluidized bed vessel 30, which is a powder processing vessel for processing the powder, and a control device 31. The control device 31 is communicatively connected to the control device 14 of the dust collector 1 (described later) via a communication line CL. In the fluidized bed vessel 30, powder 41 such as metal magnetic particles is fluidized by a processing gas 43 while a thermosetting resin solution 42 is sprayed onto the powder 41 to produce granulated powder.
[0011] The fluidized bed vessel 30 is equipped with an air outlet 32 and a stirring fan 33 located at the bottom, and a spray nozzle 34 located at the top. The air outlet 32 is connected to a gas pipe 35 that supplies a processing gas 43 used to process the powder 41. The gas pipe 35 is provided with an on-off valve 36. The spray nozzle 34 is connected to a solution pipe 37 that supplies a resin solution 42, which is a solution of a thermosetting resin. The solution pipe 37 is provided with an on-off valve 38.
[0012] The control device 31 controls the operation of the agitating fan 33 and the on-off valves 36 and 38 to granulate the powder 41. Specifically, with the powder 41 placed in the fluidized bed vessel 30, the control device 31 first opens the on-off valve 36 to blow a processing gas 43 into the fluidized bed vessel 30 through the air outlet 32 while rotating the agitating fan 33, thereby fluidizing the powder 41 within the fluidized bed vessel 30. In this state, the control device 31 opens the on-off valve 38 to spray the resin solution 42 from the spray nozzle 34 onto the fluidized powder 41. This starts the granulation process of the powder 41 in the fluidized bed vessel 30. When the control device 31 starts the granulation process of the powder 41, it transmits a start notification to the control device 14 of the dust collector 1.
[0013] When the granulation process starts, the sprayed resin solution 42 adheres to the powder 41, granulating the powder 41, and the powder 41 is dried by the flow of processing gas 43 to become granulated powder. As the processing gas 43, for example, dry air or an inert gas, such as nitrogen gas, can be used.
[0014] The processing gas 43 introduced into the fluidized bed vessel 30 through the air supply port 32 is discharged to the outside of the fluidized bed vessel 30 through an outlet 39 provided at the top of the fluidized bed vessel 30. The granulated powder granulated to a predetermined size in the fluidized bed vessel 30 remains in the fluidized bed vessel 30, and a portion of the powder 41 and a portion of the small-diameter granulated powder in the middle of granulation are blown up to the top of the fluidized bed vessel 30 by the flow of the processing gas 43. Then, a further portion of the powder 41 blown up to the top of the fluidized bed vessel 30 and / or the powder 41 that has become small-diameter granulated powder is discharged from the outlet 39 together with the processing gas 43.
[0015] The powder 41 (including the powder 41 in the middle of granulation) discharged from the discharge port 39 of the fluidized bed vessel 30 and the processing gas 43 are introduced as the gas 21 to be treated into the housing 10 from the gas inlet 11 of the dust collector 1. This starts filtration of the powder 41 as particles 20 contained in the gas 21 to be treated by the filter 12 provided in the housing 10.
[0016] The control device 31 of the granulation device 2 terminates the granulation process when a termination condition for the granulation process is satisfied. The termination condition can be, for example, the passage of a predetermined time since the start of the granulation process. The control device 31 stops the stirring fan 33 and closes the on-off valves 36 and 38 to terminate the introduction of the processing gas 43 into the fluidized bed vessel 30 and the spraying of the resin solution 42, thereby terminating the granulation process. When the granulation process is terminated, the control device 31 transmits a termination notification to the control device 14 of the dust collector 1.
[0017] Fig. 2 is an enlarged view of the dust collector 1 shown in Fig. 1. The dust collector 1 has a housing 10 and a gas inlet 11 provided at the bottom of the housing 10. The gas inlet 11 introduces a gas to be treated 21 containing dust particles 20 into the housing 10. In this embodiment, the gas to be treated 21 is powder 41 as dust and a processing gas 43 that are discharged from an outlet 39 provided at the top of a fluidized bed vessel 30 included in the granulation apparatus 2.
[0018] The dust collector 1 also has a filter 12 that filters particles 20 contained in the gas 21 to be treated within the housing 10, a brushing mechanism 13 that brushes off collected particles 20a, which are the particles 20 captured by the filter 12, and a control device 14 that controls the operation of the brushing mechanism 13.
[0019] The filtration filter 12 has a cylindrical filter cloth 12a, a lower support 12b that seals the lower part of the cylinder of the filter cloth 12a as shown in the figure, and an annular upper support 12c that is provided at the upper part of the cylinder of the filter cloth 12a as shown in the figure. When the gas to be treated 21 passes through the filter cloth 12a of the filtration filter 12, particles 20 are filtered out and the gas becomes purified gas 22. The purified gas 22 passes through the inside of the cylinder of the filter cloth 12a, exits the filtration filter 12 upward as shown in the figure, and is discharged to the outside of the housing 10 through a gas exhaust port 15 provided in the housing 10.
[0020] In this embodiment, in particular, the brushing mechanism 13 brushes off the collected particles 20a by striking the filtration filter 12. Specifically, the brushing mechanism 13 may be, for example, an impact generator that applies an impact to the upper support 12c of the filtration filter 12 using a piston or plunger driven by compressed air or the electromagnetic force of a solenoid.
[0021] The control device 14 causes the brushing mechanism 13 to perform a brushing operation in which the collected particles 20a are brushed off by striking the filtration filter 12. The brushing operation may be performed while filtration by the filtration filter 12 is stopped, or may be performed while filtration is in progress. That is, the brushing operation may be performed while the introduction of the gas 21 to be treated from the gas inlet 11 to the filtration filter 12 is stopped, or may be performed without stopping the introduction of the gas 21 to be treated.
[0022] The dust collector 1 having the above configuration knocks off the collected particles 20a by hitting the filtration filter 12 with the knocking mechanism 13. Therefore, unlike the configuration of the prior art in which compressed air is introduced into the filter cloth to knock off the collected particles, there is no increase in the internal pressure of the device to be treated (in this embodiment, the granulation device 2) when the collected particles 20a are knocked off.
[0023] Furthermore, because the dust collector 1 does not use compressed air when shaking off the collected particles 20a, it is not necessary to periodically stop filtration by the filter to perform the shaking-off operation, as in the prior art. Therefore, the shaking-off operation of the collected particles 20a can be performed while filtration by the filter 12 is stopped, as described above, or can be performed while filtration is in progress. When the shaking-off operation is performed while filtration is in progress, there is no need to stop the apparatus to be treated for the shaking-off operation of the collected particles 20a, which improves the productivity of the apparatus to be treated.
[0024] Furthermore, since the dust collector 1 does not use compressed air to remove the collected particles 20a, there is no need to use a large number of filters to disperse the internal pressure of the filters, which reduces costs and allows the dust collector 1 to be made smaller than conventional dust collectors.
[0025] As an example, the dust collector 1 is configured using one filter 12. However, the configuration using one filter 12 is just an example, and the dust collector 1 may be provided with a plurality of filters 12 depending on the required dust collection capacity (for example, the flow rate of the gas 21 to be treated that can be flowed from the gas inlet 11 to the gas outlet 15 per unit time).
[0026] The filter 12 included in the dust collector 1 is, for example, a pleated filter having a filter cloth at least a portion of which is cylindrical, with creases formed in the cylindrical portion of the filter cloth. Compared to a straight cylindrical filter without pleats, a pleated filter has a larger surface area relative to the filter size (i.e., powder capture area) and can collect dust more efficiently, making it possible to improve the dust collection capacity while reducing the size of the dust collector 1. Furthermore, the pleated filter is suitable as the filter 12 because the creases give it high rigidity and high impact transmission, and it efficiently shakes off the collected particles 20a when struck by the shake-off mechanism 13.
[0027] 1 is configured such that an outlet 39 provided in a fluidized bed vessel 30, which is a powder processing vessel of a granulation device 2, is connected to a gas inlet 11 provided in a housing 10 of a dust collector 1. As a result, in the powder processing facility 3, powder 41 discharged together with processing gas 43 from the granulation device 2, which is the device to be treated, is filtered as particles 20 by a filter 12 of the dust collector 1.
[0028] In the powder processing equipment 3 having the above configuration, a dust collector 1 is used to collect the powder 41 discharged from the granulation device 2, so that the internal pressure of the fluidized bed vessel 30 of the granulation device 2 is kept stable, and the quality of the powder processing in the granulation device 2 (for example, the variation in size and composition of the granulated powder of the powder 41 produced) is kept stable.
[0029] In the powder processing equipment 3 shown in this embodiment, the dust collector 1 is disposed above the fluidized bed vessel 30, which is the powder processing vessel of the granulation device 2. As shown in Fig. 1 , the gas inlet 11 provided at the bottom of the housing 10 of the dust collector 1 and the outlet 39 provided at the top of the fluidized bed vessel 30 are connected in opposing positions so that they can be seen from each other. As a result, the collected particles 20a containing powder 41 collected by the filter 12 inside the housing 10 of the dust collector 1 are brushed off by the brushing mechanism 13 from the filter 12 through the gas inlet 11 and the outlet 39 into the fluidized bed vessel 30. The powder 41 contained in the collected particles 20a brushed off into the fluidized bed vessel 30 is processed in the fluidized bed vessel 30 together with other powder 41 remaining in the fluidized bed vessel 30.
[0030] With the above-described configuration, in the powder processing equipment 3, the powder 41 collected by the filter 12 in the dust collector 1 is brushed off into the fluidized bed vessel 30 and can be quickly reused in the fluidized bed vessel 30. As a result, in the powder processing equipment 3, waste of the powder 41 is eliminated and the utilization efficiency of the powder 41 can be improved. Here, the utilization efficiency of the powder 41 refers to, for example, the ratio of the amount of powder 41 contained in the granulated powder, which is the finished processed product, to the total amount of powder 41 charged into the fluidized bed vessel 30.
[0031] [2. Operation of Dust Collector] Next, a description will be given of the operation of the dust collector 1. Fig. 3 is a flowchart showing the procedure of the process of the operating method of the dust collector 1 executed by the control device 14. The process shown in Fig. 3 starts at least when the power of the control device 14 is turned on.
[0032] When processing starts, the control device 14 first determines whether processing has started in the processing target device (S100). In this embodiment, the processing in the processing target device is powder processing in the granulation device 2. Specifically, the control device 14 determines that powder processing has started in the granulation device 2 when it receives a start notification from the control device 31 of the granulation device 2 indicating that granulation processing of the powder 41 has started in the fluidized bed vessel 30 of the granulation device 2.
[0033] If the processing has not started in the processing target device (S100, NO), the control device 14 returns to step S100 and repeats the processing, waiting for the processing to start. Specifically, the control device 14 waits for a start notification to be received from the control device 31 of the granulation device 2.
[0034] When processing is initiated in the equipment to be processed, i.e., when powder processing is initiated in the granulation equipment 2, the powder 41 is discharged together with the processing gas 43 from the outlet 39 of the fluidized bed vessel 30 to the gas inlet 11 of the dust collector 1. As a result, in the dust collector 1, the discharged processing gas 43 and powder 41 are treated as the gas to be processed 21, and filtration of the gas to be processed 21 by the filtration filter 12 is initiated.
[0035] That is, when treatment of the apparatus to be treated is started (S100, YES), the dust collector 1 performs filtration of particles contained in the gas to be treated 21 using the filter 12 (S102). Thereafter, the control device 14 of the dust collector 1 operates the brushing mechanism 13, which strikes the filter 12 with the brushing mechanism 13 to brush off the particles 20a, which are the particles 20 trapped on the filter 12 (S104). As described above, this brushing operation may be performed in a state where the introduction of the gas to be treated 21 from the gas inlet 11 is stopped and filtration is stopped, or may be performed in a state where filtration is being performed without stopping the introduction of the gas to be treated 21.
[0036] Next, the control device 14 determines whether the processing in the processing target device has been completed (S106). Specifically, when the control device 14 receives a completion notification from the control device 31 of the granulation device 2, which is the processing target device, the control device 14 determines that the powder processing in the granulation device 2 has been completed.
[0037] If the processing has not been completed in the processing target device (NO in S106), the control device 14 returns to step S102 and repeats the processing. On the other hand, if the processing has been completed in the processing target device (YES in S106), the control device 14 stops the operation of the brushing mechanism 13 that strikes the filtration filter 12 (S108), and ends this processing.
[0038] [3. Operation of Powder Processing Equipment] Next, a description will be given of the operation of the powder processing equipment 3. Fig. 4 is a flowchart showing the procedure of the operation method of the powder processing equipment 3 executed by the control device 14 provided in the dust collector 1 and the control device 31 provided in the granulation device 2, which is an example of a powder processing device. The process shown in Fig. 4 starts when the power of the control devices 14 and 31 is turned on.
[0039] When processing is started, first, the control device 31 of the granulation device 2, which is the powder processing device, starts powder processing of the powder 41 (S200) and sends a start notification to the control device 14 of the dust collector 1. In this embodiment, the powder processing is a granulation process of the powder 41. When the powder processing is started, a portion of the powder 41 and the processing gas 43 are introduced as the gas to be processed 21 from the outlet 39 at the top of the fluidized bed vessel 30 through the gas inlet 11 provided at the bottom of the housing 10 of the dust collector 1 into the inside of the housing 10. As a result, the dust collector 1 starts filtering the gas to be processed 21 using the filtration filter 12 (S202).
[0040] Next, the control device 14 of the dust collector 1 causes the brushing mechanism 13 to strike the filter 12, thereby brushing the collected particles 20a containing the powder 41 collected on the filter 12 into the fluidized bed vessel 30, which is a powder processing vessel (S204). As a result, the powder 41 contained in the collected particles 20a brushed off into the fluidized bed vessel 30 is processed in the fluidized bed vessel 30 together with other powder 41 remaining in the fluidized bed vessel 30. As described above, this brushing operation may be performed while the introduction of the gas 21 to be treated from the gas inlet 11 is stopped and filtration is stopped, or while filtration is being performed without stopping the introduction of the gas 21 to be treated.
[0041] Next, the control device 31 of the granulating device 2 determines whether or not the above-mentioned termination conditions for the powder processing of the powder 41 are satisfied (S206). If the termination conditions for the processing of the powder 41 are not satisfied (S206, NO), step S204 is repeated, and the operation of shaking off the collected particles 20a continues.
[0042] On the other hand, when the termination condition for the processing of the powder 41 is satisfied (S206, YES), the control device 31 of the granulation device 2 terminates the powder processing of the powder 41 (S208). When the control device 31 terminates the powder processing, it transmits a termination notification to the control device 14 of the dust collector 1. In response to receiving the termination notification, the control device 14 stops the operation of the brush-off mechanism 13 that strikes the filtration filter 12 (S210), and terminates this process.
[0043] The present invention is not limited to the configurations of the above-described embodiments, and can be implemented in various forms without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
