Abstract
Description
Door stopper body, door stopper receiving part and door stopper
[0001] The present invention relates to a door stopper body, a door stopper receiving portion, and a door stopper.
[0002] Conventionally, a door stopper (doorstop) has been proposed that is composed of a door-side member attached to a swing door and a floor-side member fixed to the floor surface, and the tip of the lock pin of the door-side member fits into the lock hole of the floor-side member by its own weight or elastic force, thereby stopping and holding the swing door in the open position (see Patent Document 1).
[0003] In addition, a door fixing mechanism has been proposed that includes a door-side member with a magnet at the bottom of the door and a floor-side member that is attracted to a magnet installed on the floor. When the door is opened, the suction part of the door-side member is attracted to the floor panel member, sliding along the floor panel member to reach the open position, and then the end part protruding from the window of the lid member is pressed down to lock the door in the open position. The floor panel member may be provided with a guide part that guides the door (see Patent Document 2).
[0004] JP2014-74325A JP11-293994A
[0005] However, in the lock pin of Patent Document 1, in the standby state, the lock pin is biased by the first biasing spring to protrude from the guide case at a certain height, and the tip of the lock pin abuts against the floor-side member while maintaining the standby state height. Furthermore, when the lock pin reaches an upwardly inclined portion of the floor-side member, it is pushed up against the first biasing spring, and when it reaches the lock hole, the downward elastic force of the first biasing spring pushes the lock pin back down to the standby state height.
[0006] Normally, an undercut for ventilation is provided between the bottom end of the door body that constitutes a hinged door and the floor, but in many cases, the undercut is not made large in order to enhance soundproofing and heat insulation effects. Therefore, there is a problem that it is difficult to attach the lock pin of Patent Document 1 to such a hinged door with a narrow gap between the bottom end of the door body and the floor.
[0007] Furthermore, the guide part in Cited Document 2 is configured so that the width of the entrance through which the door enters is narrow and uniform, and as the door continues to be opened it reaches a wider open position. Therefore, if an error occurs in the door installation position, or if the door becomes distorted or misaligned due to deterioration over time, it becomes difficult to insert the suction part into the narrow entrance of the guide part.
[0008] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a door stopper body that can reliably hold a door body in an open position and can be installed even on a door body with a narrow gap between the bottom end and the floor surface.
[0009] Another object of the present disclosure is to provide a door stopper receiving portion that can smoothly engage with the door stopper main body by eliminating installation errors or distortions of the door body.
[0010] The present disclosure relates to a door stopper main body provided at the lower end of a door body, the door stopper main body comprising: a case; a cylinder housed within the case so as to be able to advance and retreat, with one end protruding from the underside of the case; a first elastic member provided on the outer periphery of the cylinder and urging the cylinder upward against the cylinder's own weight; and a magnetic member provided on the cylinder and using magnetic force to pull the cylinder towards a door stopper receiving portion provided on the floor surface, the cylinder being housed within the case with a clearance between the other end and the inner surface of the case when the urging force of the first elastic member is acting on it.
[0011] The present disclosure also relates to a door stopper receiving portion provided on a floor surface, which has an engaged groove that can be engaged with an engaging portion of a door stopper main body provided at the lower end of a door body, the engaged groove having an entrance portion through which the engaging portion can enter and a wall portion provided on the opposite side of the entrance portion against which the engaging portion that has entered the engaged groove abuts, and the groove width narrows as it goes from the entrance portion toward the wall portion.

[0013] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the drawings of the present disclosure, four predetermined directions that are orthogonal to one another are represented as the "Fr direction," "Rr direction," "R direction," and "L direction." The "Fr direction" indicates the rotation direction when a door body 1 attached to an opening in a building rotates to open the opening, the "Rr direction" indicates the rotation direction when the door body 1 closes the opening, the "R direction" indicates the right direction when the "Fr direction" is the front, and the "L direction" indicates the left direction when the "Fr direction" is the front.
[0014] As shown in Figure 1, the door stopper 10 has a door stopper main body 3 and a door stopper receiving portion 4. The door stopper main body 3 is attached to the lower end of a door body 1, one end of which is journaled on a frame 2 provided in an opening 20 of a building. The door stopper receiving portion 4 is provided on the floor surface F. With this configuration, when the door body 1 rotates in the direction of the arrow to open the opening, the door stopper main body 3 engages with the door stopper receiving portion 4, thereby holding the door body 1 in the open position. In Figure 1, the door body 1 is represented by a two-dot chain line.
[0015] The door body 1 is a single swing door installed indoors, but the present disclosure is not limited to this. For example, the door stopper main body 3 may be attached to a front door, and the door stopper receiving part 4 may be installed on the floor of a front porch. Furthermore, the door stopper 10 may be installed not only on a single swing door, but also on a double swing door, for example.
[0016] 4 and 5, the door stopper main body 3 has a case 30, a cylinder 33, a magnetic member 34, a first elastic member 35, second elastic members 36, 36, and cover members 37, 37. The case 30 includes an outer case 31 and an inner case 32 that is housed within the outer case 31 and in which the cylinder 33 is housed so as to be able to move forward and backward.
[0017] The door stopper main body 3 is molded from resin except for the magnetic member 34, but is not limited to this. Any non-magnetic material may be used, such as aluminum or other non-magnetic metal.
[0018] The outer case 31 has a base portion 311, a cylindrical portion 312, and a lid portion 313. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the outer case 31 is a member that constitutes the exterior of the door stopper main body 3, and the members other than the cover member 37 are housed within the outer case 31 and assembled.
[0019] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the base portion 311 forms the bottom surface of the cylindrical portion 312 and has a pair of screw holes 311a, 311a, and an opening 311b. The base portion 311 is provided to protrude in the L and R directions, and a screw hole 311a is provided from below at each end of the base portion 311. As shown in Figure 3, the opening 311b is a through hole opened in approximately the center in the left-right direction, and the lower end of the cylinder 33 protrudes from the opening 311b. Screws (not shown) are inserted into the screw holes 311a, 311a, and the door stopper main body 3 is attached to the lower end of the door body 1.
[0020] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the cylindrical portion 312 is configured in a substantially rectangular cylindrical shape. The cylindrical portion 312 has elongated holes 312a and ribs 312b. The elongated holes 312a, which extend in the left-right direction, are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 312 in the Fr and Rr directions. The ribs 312b are provided on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 312 in the L and R directions, and are spring hook ribs that hook and secure a pair of second elastic members 36, as shown in Figure 6.
[0021] The lid portion 313 has a plurality of claws 313a extending downward, and is engaged with the tubular portion 312 via the claws 313a. The lid portion 313 is constructed independently, and is engaged with the tubular portion 312 after the members other than the cover member 37 have been housed in the outer case 31. With this configuration, the door stopper main body 3 can be easily assembled.
[0022] The inner case 32 has a bottom surface 321 and a side surface 322, and is formed to be open upward. The bottom surface 321 has an opening 321a, and as shown in Fig. 6, the lower end of the cylinder 33 protrudes from the opening 321a. The side surface 322 has protrusions 322a, 322a, and ribs 322b, 322b.
[0023] The protrusions 322a, 322a are protrusions that protrude from the outer peripheral surfaces of the side surface portion 322 in the Fr and Rr directions and extend in the left-right direction. The protrusions 322a, 322a of the inner case 32 are engaged with the elongated holes 312a, 312a of the outer case 31, whereby the inner case 32 is attached to the outer case 31.
[0024] The ribs 322b, 322b are a pair of ribs that protrude from the outer circumferential surfaces of the side surface portion 322 in the L and R directions, and are spring hook ribs that hook and fix the second elastic members 36, 36 as shown in FIG.
[0025] 4 and 5, the cylinder 33 is an upwardly open member having a bottom surface portion 331, a cylindrical portion 332, and a flange portion 333 that protrudes outward. As shown in Fig. 5, the bottom surface portion 331 has an end portion 331a in the Rr direction and an end portion 331b in the fr direction. As shown in Fig. 6, the lower end of the cylinder 33 is tapered so as to be narrower than the upper end, and one end side is configured to have a smaller diameter than the other end side.
[0026] This configuration can provide a sound deadening effect that suppresses contact noise when the bottom surface 331 of the cylinder 33 abuts against the door stopper receiving portion 4. The cylinder of the present disclosure is not limited to this shape. For example, the cylinder may be configured in a cylindrical shape with both ends having the same shape.
[0027] As shown in Fig. 6, the magnetic member 34 is housed inside the cylinder 33 and can use magnetic force to draw the cylinder 33 toward the door stopper receiving portion 4 provided on the floor surface. As shown in Figs. 4 to 6, the first elastic member 35 is a coil spring, engaged with the flange portion 333, and provided on the outer periphery of the cylinder 33. With this configuration, the first elastic member 35 can urge the cylinder 33 upward against the cylinder 33's own weight.
[0028] As shown in Figures 4 to 6, a pair of second elastic members 36, 36 are coil springs that are provided between the outer surface of the inner case 32 and the inner surface of the outer case 31, and are arranged opposite each other with the inner case 32 sandwiched between them, thereby enabling the inner case 32 to be biased in the horizontal direction.
[0029] With this configuration, even if the cylinder 33 is displaced to either the left or right direction when the door stopper body 3 engages with the door stopper receiving portion 4, the position of the cylinder 33 is automatically corrected to approximately the center in the left and right direction by the biasing force of the second elastic members 36, 36. This allows the door stopper body 3 to engage in the correct position of the door stopper receiving portion 4, and the door body 1 can be held in the open position with smooth operation.
[0030] The cover members 37, 37 are blind members that cover the long holes 312a, 312a of the outer case 31. As shown in Figure 1, the portions of the outer case 31 other than the base portion 311 are embedded and attached inside the door body 1. Therefore, by protecting the outer case 31 with the cover members 37, 37, it is possible to prevent dirt and dust from entering the inside of the door stopper main body 3.
[0031] 11 and 12 , the door stopper receiving portion 4 has a main body 40, an iron plate 41, an adhesive member 42, a pair of caps 43, 43, and a buffer member 44. The main body 40 has an engagement groove 401, a pair of screw holes 402, 402, and a plurality of through holes 403.
[0032] The door stopper receiving portion 4 is made of resin except for the iron plate 41 and the adhesive member 42, but is not limited to this. Any non-magnetic material may be used, such as aluminum or other non-magnetic metal.
[0033] As shown in Figure 1, the disk-shaped main body 40 provided on the floor surface F is provided with an engaging groove 401 that can engage with the cylinder 33, which is the engaging part of the door stopper main body 3 provided at the lower end of the door body 1, so that the door stopper main body 3 can engage with the door stopper receiving part 4 and hold the door body 1 in the open position.
[0034] 7 and 8, the engagement groove 401 has an entrance portion 401a, a step portion 401b, a free running portion 401c, and a wall portion 401d. The entrance portion 401a is formed to allow the cylinder 33 of the door stopper main body 3 to enter. As shown in FIG. 10, a step portion 401b is provided continuous with the entrance portion 401a, and the free running portion 401c is connected to a position one step lower via the step portion 401b. On the opposite side of the entrance portion 401a, a wall portion 401d is provided rising from the end of the free running portion 401c.
[0035] The upper end surface of the wall portion 401d is provided at a position higher than the upper end surface of the inlet portion 401a, and the cylinder 33 entering through the inlet portion 401a abuts against the wall portion 401d. As shown in Figures 7 and 8, the engaged groove 401 is configured so that the groove width narrows from the inlet portion 401a toward the wall portion 401d.
[0036] With this configuration, even if an error occurs in the installation position of the door body 1 during construction of a single swing door, the cylinder 33 can easily enter the engaged groove 401 from the entrance portion 401a, which has a wide groove width. The cylinder 33 can be reliably abutted against the wall portion 401d while being guided by the engaged groove 401, which has a groove width that narrows as it approaches the wall portion 401d, thereby eliminating installation errors of the door body 1.
[0037] Furthermore, even if the door body 1 becomes misaligned or distorted due to aging, the distortion of the door body 1 can be eliminated, and the door stopper main body 3 can be smoothly engaged with the door stopper receiving part 4. This allows the door stopper 10 to be used for a long period of time. Furthermore, even if an error occurs in the installation position, the door stopper main body 3 can be securely engaged with the door stopper receiving part 4, eliminating the need to precisely adjust the installation position of the door body 1 and improving workability.
[0038] 11 and 12 , the screw holes 402 are through-holes extending from above the main body 40, and the main body 40 is fixed to the floor surface by screws inserted into the screw holes 402. Caps 43 are inserted into the plurality of through-holes 403 and fixed to the main body 40.
[0039] As shown in Figure 10, the iron plate 41 is an iron plate provided inside the door stopper receiving portion 4. The iron plate 41 has an entrance portion 411, a step portion 412, and a free-running portion 413. The iron plate 41 is provided on the lower end surface of the engaged groove 401, and the entrance portion 411, step portion 412, and free-running portion 413 of the iron plate 41 are configured in shapes that allow them to engage with the entrance portion 401a, step portion 401b, and free-running portion 401c of the engaged groove 401, respectively. The free-running portion 413 has through holes 413a, 413a through which screws are inserted for fixing the iron plate 41 to the floor surface F. A cavity H1 is formed below the entrance portion 411.
[0040] Because the cylinder 33 of the door stopper main body 3 is equipped with the magnetic member 34, the cylinder 33 is attracted by magnetic force to the door stopper receiving portion 4 equipped with the iron plate 41. However, the door stopper receiving portion 4 of the present disclosure is not limited to this. For example, if the cylinder provided in the door stopper main body 3 is structured without the magnetic member 34 and is configured to protrude downward by an elastic member such as a coil spring, the door stopper receiving portion 4 does not need to be equipped with the iron plate 41.
[0041] 11 and 12, the main body 40 and the iron plate 41 are fixed together via an adhesive member 42. The adhesive member 42 is a double-sided tape, but is not limited to this. For example, the main body 40 and the iron plate 41 may be fixed together using an adhesive. Furthermore, as described above, the door stopper receiving portion 4 does not require the adhesive member 42 because the iron plate 41 is not used.
[0042] 11 and 12, the caps 43 have a plurality of claws 431 on their lower end surfaces. The caps 43 are fixed to the iron plate 41 via the claws 431. As shown in FIG. 1, the caps 43 can hide the screws inserted into the main body 40, improving the design of the door stopper receiving portion 4. Because the door stopper receiving portion 4 is installed exposed to the floor surface F, it can be molded from a resin of the same color as the floor surface F, for example, to unify the design and harmonize the interior space.
[0043] 10, the buffer member 44 is provided in a cavity H1 formed below the entrance 401a of the engagement groove 401. The buffer member 44 is made of an elastic material such as resin and has a noise-reducing effect. The buffer member 44 can be provided when further noise-reducing effects are required, but if it is not required, the buffer member 44 does not need to be provided in the door stopper receiving portion 4.
[0044] Next, the operation of the door stopper 10 will be described. As shown in Figure 13A, in the standby state, the cylinder 33 of the door stopper main body 3 is housed in the case 30 with a clearance CL1 between its upper end and the inner surface of the case 30 while the biasing force of the first elastic member 35 is acting on it. In the standby state, the lower end of the cylinder 33 protrudes from the bottom surface of the case 30. In Figures 13A to 14B, the door body 1 is represented by a two-dot chain line.
[0045] With this configuration, the clearance CL1 is eliminated by pushing the standby cylinder 33 toward the door body 1, and the cylinder 33 can be completely stored inside the case 30. The door stopper main body 3 may be shipped installed at the bottom end of the door body 1, but by storing the cylinder 33 completely inside the case 30, damage during shipping can be prevented.
[0046] 13A, the door stopper receiving portion 4 is installed on the floor surface F, and the entrance portion 401a of the main body 40 is provided so that the door stopper main body 3 can enter, as it moves with the opening operation of the door body 1. The door stopper main body 3 moves in the direction of the arrow and enters the engaged groove 401 from the entrance portion 401a of the door stopper receiving portion 4.
[0047] As shown in Figure 7, the engaging groove 401 is configured so that the groove width narrows from the entrance portion 401a toward the wall portion 401d. Therefore, the entrance portion 401a, which has a wide groove width, can eliminate the displacement of the cylinder 33 in the LR direction or the movement of the door body 1 that accompanies the opening and closing operation, and can smoothly guide the door body 1 into the door stopper receiving portion 4.
[0048] 13B, the cylinder 33 of the door stopper main body 3, which has reached above the door stopper receiving portion 4, is attracted to the iron plate 41 provided inside the door stopper receiving portion 4 by the magnetic force of the magnetic member 34 provided inside. The clearance CL2 provided in the door stopper main body 3 becomes wider in the vertical direction than the above-mentioned clearance CL1 because the cylinder 33 protrudes downward.
[0049] The magnetic force of the magnetic member 34 causes the bottom surface 331 of the cylinder 33 to contact the entrance 401a of the door stopper receiving portion 4, and the door stopper main body 3 moves in the direction of the arrow further into the engaged groove 401. Because the distance between the bottom end of the cylinder 33 in the standby state and the upper surface of the entrance 401a is narrowed, the distance that the cylinder 33 protrudes downward when it is drawn to the entrance 401a can be reduced, resulting in a noise reduction effect that minimizes the impact noise when the cylinder 33 contacts the entrance 401a.
[0050] Furthermore, by providing a buffer member 44 in the cavity H1 formed in the lower part of the entrance portion 401a, it is possible to further suppress the impact noise when the cylinder 33 comes into contact with the entrance portion 401a. The buffer member 44 may be provided depending on the installation location of the door stopper 10, and if not required, the buffer member 44 does not need to be provided in the door stopper receiving portion 4.
[0051] 13C, the cylinder 33 passes through the step portion 401b of the engaged groove 401 and reaches the free running portion 401c, and is attracted to the free running portion 401c by the magnetic force of the magnetic member 34. The clearance CL3 provided in the door stopper main body 3 becomes wider in the vertical direction than the above-mentioned clearance CL2 because the cylinder 33 protrudes further downward.
[0052] When the door body 1 is opened, the cylinder 33 enters the engaged groove 401 and comes into contact with the wall portion 401d. The free running portion 401c forms a clearance CL4 between the cylinder 33 that is in contact with the wall portion 401d and the step portion 401b. With this configuration, when the door body 1 that is in contact with the wall portion 401d bounces back in the Rr direction due to a collision, the free running portion 401c having the clearance CL4 moves, thereby dissipating the recoil of the collision.
[0053] 13D, the cylinder 33, whose recoil has been suppressed, moves in the Rr direction along the free running portion 401c and engages with the step portion 401b, thereby being temporarily held in place. With this configuration, the cylinder 33 does not climb over the step portion 401b, and the door stopper main body 3 engages with the door stopper receiving portion 4, thereby reliably holding the door body 1 in the open position.
[0054] According to the door stopper 10 of the present disclosure described above, in the standby state, the cylinder 33 of the door stopper main body 3 is housed in the case 30 with an upward clearance CL1, and protrudes from the lower end of the door body 1. On the other hand, when the cylinder 33 approaches the door stopper receiving portion 4, the magnetic force causes the cylinder 33 to protrude further downward and engage with the engaging groove 401 of the door stopper receiving portion 4. At this time, the clearance CL1 widens in the vertical direction, forming clearances CL2 and CL3.
[0055] This configuration minimizes the distance that the cylinder 33 protrudes from the bottom end of the door body 1 when the door stopper body 3 is in a standby state. Furthermore, when the door stopper body 3 is engaged with the door stopper receiving portion 4, the cylinder 33 is attracted to the door stopper receiving portion 4 by magnetic force, so the door stopper 10 can be installed on the door body 1 even if the gap between the door body 1 and the floor F provided in the opening is narrow.
[0056] Furthermore, even if there is a wide gap between the door body 1 and the floor surface F, the magnetic force of the magnetic member 34 ensures that the cylinder 33 is securely engaged with the door stopper receiving portion 4. This eliminates the need to precisely adjust the installation position of the door body 1, and even if there is an error in the installation position, the door stopper main body 3 is securely engaged with the door stopper receiving portion 4, making it easy to install and install the door stopper 10. Furthermore, even if an undercut for ventilation is provided at the bottom of the door body 1, the height of the undercut can be freely set without worrying about the engagement of the door stopper 10. The present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments and can be modified as appropriate.
[0057] 14A and 14B, a door stopper receiving portion 4B may be used in which an engaged groove 401B is inclined downward from an entrance portion 4011 toward a step portion 401b. The entrance portion 4011 is inclined downward toward the step portion 401b by having an angle D1.
[0058] As shown in Fig. 14A, the door stopper main body 3 in a standby state moves in the direction of the arrow toward the entrance 4011. Next, as shown in Fig. 14B, because the entrance 4011 is inclined downward toward the step 401b, the bottom surface 331 of the cylinder 33 protruding from the door stopper main body 3 is also drawn perpendicularly to the entrance 4011. As a result, the cylinder 33 also moves in the direction of the arrow toward the wall 401d with its upper end inclined in the Fr direction at an angle D1.
[0059] Due to the inclination of the inlet portion 4011, the bottom portion 331 of the cylinder 33 is positioned so that the end 331a in the Fr direction is lower than the end 331b in the Rr direction, so that when the cylinder 33 passes over the step portion 401b and abuts against the free running portion 401c, the cylinder 33 abuts against the end 331b of the bottom portion 331.
[0060] With this configuration, when the cylinder 33 is drawn to the free-running portion 401c, the cylinder 33 is prevented from protruding downward, and the cylinder 33 abuts against the free-running portion 401c continuously from the inlet portion 4011, thereby preventing the generation of collision noise when the cylinder 33 comes into contact with the free-running portion 401c.
[0061] By using the door stopper receiving portion 4B, the collision noise when the door stopper main body 3 engages with the door stopper receiving portion 4B can be further suppressed, and the noise-reducing effect of the door stopper 10 can be significantly improved.
[0062] Furthermore, the free running portion 401c of the engagement groove 401 provided in the door stopper receiving portion 4 may be configured to slope downward toward the wall portion 401d. As a result, when the cylinder 33 of the door stopper main body 3 abuts against the wall portion 401d and bounces back in the Rr direction, the free running portion 401c, which slopes upward in the Rr direction, can more smoothly suppress the movement of the cylinder 33. With this configuration, the cylinder 33, whose movement is suppressed by the free running portion 401c, is more smoothly temporarily held by the step portion 401b, thereby reliably suppressing the bouncing of the door body 1.
[0063] Furthermore, although the door stopper body 3 in this embodiment is provided on the lower end surface of the door body 1, the present disclosure is not limited to this.
