[0004] Nowadays, more and more people are aware of the need to lead a healthy life and exercise regularly. There are many sports available, and each person chooses the one that best suits their body's specific needs. When seeking more intensive training, people often turn to specialized machines that allow for more comprehensive preparation, exercising specific muscles more effectively. One of the most complete exercises is the push-up, as it works several muscle groups, such as the pectoral and triceps muscles, and also contributes to the development of the back, torso, and leg muscles.There are different ways to perform push-ups to suit each person's abilities. Depending on the position of the torso, the athlete will encounter more or less resistance in the push-up because they are supporting a greater or lesser proportion of their own body weight. Thus, when push-ups are performed with the torso in a horizontal position, around 65% of body weight is lifted. However, if the torso is in an inclined position, with the feet flat on the ground and the hands on an elevated surface, the weight to be lifted decreases. For example, if the hands are placed on a table about 60 cm high, around 40% of body weight is lifted, while if they are placed on a chair about 30 cm high, the weight to be lifted is 55%. In other words, the higher the hands are placed, the less weight is lifted.

[0026] Detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the invention
[0027] In view of the figures provided, it can be observed how in a preferred embodiment of the invention, the equipment for performing push-ups comprises a horizontal board (1) raised above the ground and two gripping elements (2) for the user's hands.
[0028] The board (1) is capable of allowing the support of the entire body of the user in a stretched position and has a first end (1,1) for arm support, a second opposite end (1,2) for foot support and a through hole (3) located on the longitudinal axis of the board (1), closer to its first end (1,1) than to its second end (1,2). For its part, the gripping elements (2) comprise removable fixing means to the first end (1,1) of the board (1).
