Abstract
Provided is a method of treating spinocerebellar ataxia in a patient. The method includes administering to the patient in need of such treatment troriluzole at a dosage amount of about 200 mg per day and for a treatment period of at least one year, wherein the treatment is effective to provide a reduction in the patient's total f-SARA score of at least 50% compared to an untreated patient.
