The baby trace alert is a safety device for parent & caregive to alert and remind caregiver of children safety to not be left in unattend vehicle

Abstract

The Baby Trace Alert is designed and implemented for safety first, by providing a mechanism that would help prevent parent or caregiver from leaving a child in an unattended, unsafe car / vehicle. It is a one piece, one size fits all to capacity of the product. Other systems have too many components, whereupon the failure of one component may render the whole system inoperable. The advantages to this device: (The Baby Trace Alert) nothing has to be installed. And as long as there are no damages to the device. And if the device is fully charged there should not be any problems with the system failing. This device is to help parents and caregivers to be reminded that there is a child on board of the car / vehicle.

[0003] BACKGROUND

[0004] Infants and toddlers are often left unmonitored or their presence may be overlooked or forgotten by the present parent or caregiver. Over the years there have been many devices and products designed to monitor infants and toddlers when they are out of sight. However, there are instances when a parent or caregiver are doing routine errands and they may have forgotten that they have left a child in an unattended, unsafe vehicle. A person could be traveling to a store with a child in the back seat of the vehicle then take a call, forgetting that the child is there. Reach the store, get out and go in Without remembering that there is a child left in the back seat of the vehicle. Putting one of your shoes in the back and driving with one shoe is fine; if you remember to do that. Why should one take that chance.-

[0006] By providing a safety device with a contact point that is activated by the driver promotes a better chance of not leaving a child in an unattended, unsafe vehicle. The back pad, which goes on the upright part of the driver's seat, has the words "Please Don't Forget About Me" embroidered on it. That is clearly seen as the driver enters the car. The seat pad has an electronic audio device located inside. When the driver enters the vehicle and sits down, the device will announce "Alert, Baby / Child on Board". When the driver exists the seat of the vehicle, the audio device will announce "Alert, Alert Baby / Child on board". The seat pad is conveniently equipped with an attachment car charger adapter that is located on the right side of the driver seat side pad. DESCRIPTION

Claims

CLAIMSThe invention claimed is:

1. A device comprised of a seat pad that attaches to both the back cushion and seat cushion on the driver's seat.

2. A device according to claim 1 wherein one portion of the device that attached to the back cushion of the driver's seat by an adjustable button clamp. The clamp is attached around the headrest.

3. A device according to claim 1 wherein the words "Please Don't Forget About Me" is embroidered on the upper cushion.

4. A device according to claim 1 wherein a portion of the device is attached to the seat cushion of the driver's seat.

5. A device according to claim 4 that is embedded with an electronic audio device.

6. A device according to claim 5 that when a driver enters the vehicle and sits, the electronic audio device will announce: "Alert Baby / Child on Board".

7. A device according to claim 5 that when a driver exists the vehicle, the electronic device will announce: "Alert, Alert, Baby / Child on Board".

8. A device according to claim 1 is equipped with a car charger adapter, conveniently located on the right side for easy access to the charger port of the vehicle.
