Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] QR CODE RECEIPT SHARING SYSTEM

[0003] Technical Field

[0004] The present invention relates to a system for generating a QR code defined on receipts generated as a result of any money transfer or a purchase and enabling users to verify the generated QR code from the bank platform.

[0005] Background of the Invention

[0006] Today, fraud through the generation of fake receipts is becoming a serious problem. Fraudsters prepare fake documents and receipts and try to deceive victims with these documents. Generally, misleading information indicating that a product or service has been purchased is presented and, in this way, money is transferred, or products are provided. Such frauds carried out over the Internet allow victims to be deceived quickly and as a result, financial losses occur. This situation raises trust issues in society and has serious implications.

[0007] For this reason, it is understood that there is a need for a system for generating a QR code defined on receipts generated as a result of any money transfer or a purchase and enabling users to verify the generated QR code from the bank platform.

[0008] The United States patent document no. US2022051346, an application included in the state of the art, discloses a method for transfer and aggregation of electronic receipts. In the said invention, a method of capturing and aggregating transaction receipts over a network connected to a point-of-sale (POS) terminal is described. The method comprises the steps of submitting digital payment account data to the POS terminal by using a transaction device; reading the submitted data at the POS terminal and authorizing the payment data for the transaction; upon approval notification, generating at the POS terminal a QR code that includes the itemized receipt data; publishing the generated QR code to a digital screen on the POS terminal or to a printed paper medium; capturing the QR code in POS display or printed paper with a mobile device equipped to scan QR codes; and storing for transfer over the network, the QR code or a readable version thereof for archival and access.

[0009] Summary of the Invention

[0010] An object of the present invention is to realize a system developed with the aim of generating a QR code defined on receipts generated as a result of any money transfer or a purchase and enabling users to verify the generated QR code from the bank platform.

[0011] Detailed Description of the Invention

[0012] “QR Code Receipt Sharing System” realized to fulfil the objective of the present invention is shown in the figure attached, in which:

[0013] Figure l is a schematic view of the inventive system.

[0014] The components illustrated in the figure are individually numbered, where the numbers refer to the following:

[0015] 1. System

[0016] 2. Electronic Device

[0017] 3. Application

[0018] 4. Server The inventive system (1) developed with the aim of generating a QR code defined on receipts generated as a result of any money transfer or a purchase and enabling users to verify the generated QR code from the bank platform comprises at least one electronic device (2) which is configured to run at least one application thereon and to comprise an image capturing apparatus capable of reading a QR code; at least one application (3) which is configured to enable users to carry out banking transactions; and at least one server (4) which is configured to enable receipts of banking transactions and QR codes of the receipts to be generated and users to be able to verify the generated QR codes of the receipts of the relevant transactions from the application of the respective bank.

[0019] The electronic device (2) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to establish communication and exchange data with the application (3) by using any communication protocol.

[0020] The application (3) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to establish communication and exchange data with the electronic device (2) and the server (4) by using any communication protocol. The application (3) is configured to enable the user to share and verify the receipt of the relevant transaction in the form of a money transfer. The application (3) is configured to enable the user to create a request through an interface for the receipt of the transaction the validity of which s / he wants to verify, and to access the details of the validity of the receipt checked in line with the said request.

[0021] The server (4) included in the inventive system (1) is configured to establish communication and exchange data with the application (3) by using any communication protocol. The server (4) is configured to enable a unique QR code to be generated for the receipt of the relevant transaction of the user in the form of a money transfer and to enable the user to share the relevant receipt and check its validity through the application (3). The server (4) is configured to enable receipts of banking transactions carried out through the relevant institution to be stored on a database and, in cases where the user wants to check the validity of a receipt, the validity of the relevant transaction to be determined by checking the receipts of banking transactions through the relevant database and to be shared with the user through the application (3) interface. The server (4) is configured to enable the user to be informed through the application (3) interface after the validity of the QR code receipt requested by the user to be checked has been confirmed, that the said receipt is a valid receipt generated by the bank. The server (4) is configured to enable the user to be informed through the application (3) interface, if the validity of the QR code receipt requested by the user to be checked has not been confirmed, that the said receipt is not a valid receipt generated by the bank.
