Description

DEFIBRILLATOR CONTROL SYSTEM AND CONTROL DEVICE

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a defibrillator control system and a control device. Background

[0002] Conventionally, techniques have been known relating to a defibrillator in which it is possible to switch between an adult mode capable of delivering an electric shock with energy suitable for an adult, and a preschool child mode capable of delivering an electric shock with energy suitable for a preschool child. For example, JP 2009-28402 A discloses a defibrillator provided with a discharge button for adult mode to deliver an electric shock suitable for an adult, and a discharge button for child mode to deliver an electric shock suitable for a child.

[0003] Incidentally, there are facilities where a defibrillator is installed in a state set to a preschool child mode. Such facilities include facilities related to preschool children, such as nursery schools, kindergartens, pediatrics, and child-rearing support facilities, while also including facilities not related to preschool children.

[0004] When a defibrillator is used at a facility not related to preschool children, there is a possibility that a rescuer does not notice a current setting mode and a low energy shock delivery in a preschool child mode is performed on a subject who is an adult.Summary

[0005] An object of a present disclosure is to provide a defibrillator control system and a control device that can prevent a defibrillator from operating in an unintended mode.

[0006] According to an aspect of the present discloser, a defibrillator control system comprising: a defibrillator configured to perform a shock delivery to a subject; and a control device configured to control in relation to the defibrillator, wherein the defibrillator is switchable between an adult mode to perform a shock delivery suitable for a subject who is an adult and a preschool child mode to perform a shock delivery suitable for a subject who is a preschool child, and wherein the defibrillator is configured to transmit mode information indicating whether a current setting mode is the adult mode or the preschool child mode, to the control device.

[0007] According to an aspect of the present discloser, a control device which controls in relation to a defibrillator performing a shock delivery to a subject, wherein the defibrillator is switchable between an adult mode to perform a shock delivery suitable for a subject who is an adult and a preschool child mode to perform a shock delivery suitable for a subject who is a preschool child, and wherein the control device comprises: a communication unit configured to receive mode information indicating whether a current setting mode of the defibrillator is the adult mode or the preschool child mode from the defibrillator; and an information processing unit configured to identify the defibrillator of which the current setting mode is the preschool child mode based on the mode information, and notify the current setting mode to a terminal device associated with the identified defibrillator.

[0008] According to the present discloser, it is possible to prevent the defibrillator from operating in an unintended mode.

[0009] FIG. 1 is an example of a defibrillator control system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.FIG. 2 is an example of a control detail screen displayed on a monitor of the administrator terminal shown in FIG. 1.FIG. 3 is an example of a list screen displayed on a monitor of the administrator terminal shown in FIG. 1.Description of Embodiment

[0010] Hereinafter, the defibrillator control system according to the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. In the description of the embodiment, for members having the same reference numbers as those already described, the description is omitted for convenience. In addition, the dimensions of the members shown in the drawings may differ from the actual dimensions of the members, for convenience of explanation.

[0011] Defibrillator Control System The configuration of a defibrillator control system 100 according to the present disclosure is described. FIG. 1 is an example of the defibrillator control system 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 1, the defibrillator control system 100 includes a defibrillator (hereinafter referred to as “AED”) 1 configured to perform shock delivery to a subject, and a control server (control device) 50. These devices are connected so as to be capable of communication via a radio base station 20 and a communication network 21. Wireless communication such as LTE (Long Term Evolution) is performed between each AED 1 and the radio base station 20.

[0012] The AED 1 performs, for example periodically, a self-test to self-diagnose whether the AED 1 operates normally or malfunctioningly, that is, whether the state of the AED 1 is normal or malfunctioning. The AED 1 transmits the results of the self-test to the control server 50 via the radio base station 20 and the communication network 21

[0013] Further, the AED 1 is switchable between an adult mode to perform a shock delivery suitable for a subject who is an adult, and a preschool child mode to perform a shock delivery suitable for a subject who is a preschool child. Further, for example, when performing the self-test, the AED 1 is configured to check whether the current setting mode is either the adult mode or the preschool child mode. The AED 1 is configured to transmit mode information indicating the current setting mode as a part of the self-test result to the control server 50.

[0014] Note that, in some cases, the AED 1 may not have a function to check the current setting mode. In such cases, for example, the AED 1 transmits mode information indicating that the current setting mode is unknown, included in the self-test result.

[0015] The control server 50 is configured to control in relation to the AED 1, and is connected to an administrator terminal 60 and a user terminal 61 via the communication network 21, so as to be capable of communication. The administrator terminal 60 is, for example, a terminal device operated by an administrator K belonging to an organization to maintain and manage the AED 1. The user terminal 61 is, for example, a terminal device operated by a user U in the facility where AED 1 is installed, and is registered in the control server 50 in association with the AED 1.

[0016] More specifically, the control server 50 includes a communication unit 31, an information processing unit 32, and a storage unit 33. The communication unit 31 functions as an interface for the control server 50 to communicate with external communication devices such as the administrator terminal 60 and the user terminal 61. For example, the communication unit 31 is configured to receive the self-test result transmitted from each AED 1, and store the received self-test result in the storage unit 33.

[0017] The storage unit 33 is a means for storing various kinds of information and is realized, for example, by a RAM (Random Access Memory), a ROM (Read Only Memory), an HDD (Hard Disk Drive), and the like. The information processing unit 32 performs various processing related to control of the AED 1.

[0018] For example, the information processing unit 32 refers to the self-test result stored in the storage unit 33 to detect one or a plurality of AEDs 1 in which a malfunction has occurred. The information processing unit 32 is configured to transmit information indicating that a malfunction has occurred in the AED 1 to the user terminal 61 associated with each detected AED 1. Therefore, the user U in the facility where AED 1 is installed can be notified that a malfunction has occurred in the AED 1.

[0019] Further, the information processing unit 32 may transmit information indicating one or a plurality of AEDs 1 in which a malfunction has occurred to the administrator terminal 60. Therefore, the administrator K belonging to an organization to maintain and control the AED 1 can be notified of one or a plurality of AEDs 1 in which a malfunction has occurred.

[0020] Screen Display Display of Control Detail Screen The administrator terminal 60 can display a control detail screen G1 showing the self-test result of the AED 1 on the monitor of the administrator terminal 60 in response to operation by the administrator K. FIG. 2 is an example of the control detail screen G1 displayed on the monitor of the administrator terminal 60 shown in FIG. 1.

[0021] More specifically, with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, suppose that the administrator K specifies one of a plurality of AEDs 1 managed by the defibrillator control system 100 and further performs a predetermined operation on the administrator terminal 60 to display the control detail screen G1. In this case, the administrator terminal 60 transmits operation information indicating the operator’s operation to the control server 50.

[0022] When the communication unit 31 of the control server 50 receives the operation information transmitted from the administrator terminal 60, the communication unit 31 outputs the operation information to the information processing unit 32. Upon receiving the above operation information from the communication unit 31, the information processing unit 32 identifies the AED 1 specified by the administrator K based on the operation information, reads the self-test result of the identified AED 1 out of the self-test results stored in the storage unit 33. Then the information processing unit 32 generates screen data of the control detail screen G1 showing the read self-test result.

[0023] At this time, as described above, the read self-test includes mode information indicating the setting mode of the AED 1. By checking the mode information, the information processing unit 32 checks whether the current setting mode of the AED 1 specified by the administrator K is the preschool child mode. The information processing unit 32 generates the screen data when the current setting mode of the AED 1 is the preschool child mode, so that the display of the setting mode on the control detail screen G1 will be in a manner different from the display when the setting mode is the adult mode.

[0024] Then, the information processing unit 32 transmits the generated screen data to the administrator terminal 60 via the communication unit 31 and the communication network 21. When the administrator terminal 60 receives the screen data transmitted from the control server 50, the administrator terminal 60 displays the control detail screen G1 as shown in FIG. 2 on the monitor based on the screen data.

[0025] For example, the control detail screen G1 includes product information including the model name, serial number, battery type, lot number, and the like of the AED 1. For example, the control detail screen G1 further includes device information including whether the state of the AED 1 is normal or malfunctioning, whether it is under monitoring, remaining battery level, battery disposal due date, electrode pad expiration date, current setting mode, temperature, whether a fault is present, update date of the self-test result, installed location, and the like.

[0026] Here, suppose that the current setting mode of the AED 1 specified by the administrator K is the preschool child mode. In such a case, for example, the text “Preschool Child Mode” is displayed in red in the item field of the setting mode on the control detail screen G1. In FIG. 2, the text “Preschool Child Mode” is shown in boldface and hatching is provided around the text to express that the text is displayed in red.

[0027] On the other hand, when the current setting mode of the AED 1 is the adult mode, for example, the text “Elementary School Student ~ Adult Mode” is displayed in black in the item field of the setting mode on the control detail screen G1. Further, when the current setting mode of the AED 1 is unknown, for example, a hyphen (“–”) is displayed in the item field of the setting mode on the control detail screen G1.

[0028] Note that, instead of displaying the text “Preschool Child Mode” in red, or in addition to displaying the text in red, it may be displayed so that a background color of the text “Preschool Child Mode” is different from a background color of the text “Adult mode”, or the text “Preschool Child Mode” may blink.

[0029] With the configuration described above, the administrator K can grasp the self-test result and the current setting mode of any AED 1 by checking the control detail screen G1 displayed on the administrator terminal 60. In particular, when the current setting mode of the AED 1 is the preschool child mode, since the preschool child mode is displayed in a manner to be emphasized, it is possible to more certainly make the administrator K notice that the current setting mode is the preschool child mode.

[0030] Further, the control detail screen G1 as shown in FIG. 2 can be displayed not only on the administrator terminal 60 but also on the user terminal 61. For example, when the user U performs a predetermined operation on the user terminal 61 to display the control detail screen G1, the user terminal 61 transmits operation information indicating the user’s operation to the control server 50.

[0031] When the information processing unit 32 of the control server 50 receives the operation information transmitted from the user terminal 61 via the communication unit 31, the information processing unit 32 identifies the AED 1 corresponding to the user terminal 61 which is the source of the operation information, and generates screen data of the control detail screen G1 of the AED 1 by the same method as described above. The information processing unit 32 transmits the generated screen data to the user terminal 61 via the communication unit 31 and the communication network 21.

[0032] When the user terminal 61 receives the screen data transmitted from the control server 50, the user terminal 61 displays the control detail screen G1 as shown in FIG. 2 on the monitor of the user terminal 61 based on the screen data. Therefore, the user U can grasp the self-test result and the current setting mode of the AED 1 by checking the control detail screen G1 displayed on the user terminal 61. In particular, when the current setting mode of the AED 1 is the preschool child mode, since the preschool child mode is displayed in a manner to be emphasized, it is possible to more certainly make the user U notice that the current setting mode is the preschool child mode.

[0033] Display of List Screen Further, the administrator terminal 60 can display a list screen G2 indicating a list of self-test result of a plurality of AEDs 1 on the monitor of the administrator terminal 60 in response to operation by the administrator K. FIG. 3 is an example of the list screen G2 displayed on the monitor of the administrator terminal 60 shown in FIG. 1.

[0034] More specifically, with reference to FIGS. 1 and 3, suppose that the administrator K performs a predetermined operation on the administrator terminal 60 to display the list screen G2. In this case, the administrator terminal 60 transmits operation information indicating the administrator’s operation to the control server 50. When the communication unit 31 of the control server 50 receives the operation information transmitted from the administrator terminal 60, the communication unit 31 outputs the operation information to the information processing unit 32.

[0035] Upon receiving the above operation information from the communication unit 31, the information processing unit 32 reads the self-test result of each AED 1 stored in the storage unit 33. Then the information processing unit 32 generates screen data of the list screen G2 indicating a list of the read self-test result.

[0036] At this time, as in the case of generating the screen data of the control detail screen G1 shown in FIG. 2, the information processing unit 32 checks the mode information included in the self-test result of each AED 1 to identify one or a plurality of AEDs 1 whose current setting mode is the preschool child mode. Then, the information processing unit 32 generates the screen data so that the display of the setting mode of an AED 1 whose current setting mode is the preschool child mode on the list screen G2 will be in a manner different from the display of the setting mode of an AED 1 whose current setting mode is the adult mode.

[0037] Then, the information processing unit 32 transmits the generated screen data to the administrator terminal 60 via the communication unit 31 and the communication network 21. When the administrator terminal 60 receives the screen data transmitted from the control server 50, the administrator terminal 60 displays the list screen G2 on the monitor as shown in FIG. 3 based on the screen data.

[0038] For example, the list screen G2 includes the installed location of the AED 1, model name, serial number, whether the state of the AED 1 is normal or malfunctioning, whether it is under monitoring, remaining battery level, battery disposal due date, electrode pad expiration date, current setting mode, temperature, whether a fault is present, update date of the self-test result, and the like.

[0039] Further, in the item field of the setting mode of each AED 1 whose current setting mode is checked to be the preschool child mode on the list screen G2, for example, the text “Preschool Child Mode” is displayed in red. In FIG. 3, similarly to FIG. 2, the text “Preschool Child Mode” is shown in boldface and hatching is provided around the text to express that the text is displayed in red.

[0040] On the other hand, in the item field of the setting mode of each AED 1 whose current setting mode is checked to be the adult mode on the list screen G2, for example, the text “Elementary School Student ~ Adult Mode” is displayed in black. Further, in the item field of the setting mode of each AED 1 whose current setting mode is unknown on the list screen G2, for example, a hyphen (“–”) is displayed.

[0041] With the configuration described above, the administrator K can grasp the self-test result of a plurality of managed AEDs 1, and the current setting mode of each AED 1, by checking the list screen G2 displayed on the administrator terminal 60. In particular, when there is an AED 1 in the preschool child mode, since the preschool child mode is displayed in a manner to be emphasized, it is possible to more certainly make the administrator K notice the AED 1 whose current setting mode is the preschool child mode.

[0042] Further, similarly to the control detail screen G1 shown in FIG. 2, the list screen G2 can be displayed not only on the administrator terminal 60 but also on the user terminal 61. For example, when the user U performs a predetermined operation on the user terminal 61 to display the list screen G2, the user terminal 61 transmits operation information indicating the user’s operation to the control server 50.

[0043] When the information processing unit 32 of the control server 50 receives the operation information transmitted from the user terminal 61 via the communication unit 31, the information processing unit 32 generates the screen data of the list screen G2 by the same method as described above. The information processing unit 32 transmits the generated screen data to the user terminal 61 via the communication unit 31 and the communication network 21.

[0044] When the user terminal 61 receives the screen data transmitted from the control server 50, the user terminal 61 displays the list screen G2 as shown in FIG. 3 on the monitor of the user terminal 61 based on the screen data. Therefore, the user U can grasp the self-test result of each AED 1 and the current setting mode of each AED 1 by checking the list screen G2 displayed on the user terminal 61. In particular, as described above, when there is an AED 1 in the preschool child mode, the preschool child mode is displayed in a manner to emphasize. Therefore, when the current setting mode of the AED 1 corresponding to the user terminal 61 of the user U is the preschool child mode, it is possible to more certainly make the user U notice the current setting mode of the AED 1.

[0045] Note that, even when the administrator K has not performed a determined operation to display the Control detail screen G1 or the list screen G2, the control server 50 may transmit, for example periodically, screen data for at least one of the control detail screen G1 and the list screen G2 to the administrator terminal 60. Also, even when the user U has not performed a predetermined operation to display the Control detail screen G1 or the list screen G2, the control server 50 may transmit, for example periodically, screen data for at least one of the control detail screen G1 and the list screen G2 to the user terminal 61.

[0046] Notification by Email, etc. Further, for example, the information processing unit 32 of the control server 50 periodically check the self-test result of each AED 1 stored in the storage unit 33, and identify the AED 1 whose current setting mode is the preschool child mode. Then, the information processing unit 32 notifies the current setting mode of each identified AED 1 to the user terminal 61 associated with the AED 1.

[0047] Specifically, the information processing unit 32 transmits to the user terminal 61 an email or the like containing the self-test result together with text such as “The AED installed at XX is set to the preschool child mode. Please set it to “Elementary School Student ~ Adult Mode” for installation.” Therefore, it is possible to prompt the user U in the facility where AED 1 is installed to set the AED 1 to the adult mode.

[0048] Here, at facilities related to preschool children, such as nursery schools, kindergartens, pediatrics, and child-rearing support facilities, the setting mode of the AED 1 may be intentionally set to the preschool child mode. Therefore, the control server 50 is configured to accept a stop operation to stop notifying the current setting mode.

[0049] Specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, a checkbox CB is displayed on the control detail screen G1 of the AED 1 to show that the AED 1 is intentionally installed in the preschool child mode. The email or the like transmitted from the control server 50 to the user terminal 61 contains text such as “If you set intentionally in the preschool child mode, please check the checkbox “Use in preschool child mode” on the control detail screen,” in addition to the text mentioned above.

[0050] Then, in a state where the control detail screen G1 is displayed on the user terminal 61, suppose that the user U performs an operation to check the checkbox CB on the user terminal 61 as the stop operation. In such a case, the user terminal 61 transmits operation information indicating the user’s operation to the control server 50.

[0051] Upon receiving the above operation information, the information processing unit 32 of the control server 50 stores the operation information in the storage unit 33. Then, the information processing unit 32 stops notifying the current setting mode of the AED 1 on which the stop operation has been performed, to the associated user terminal 61, that is, stops transmission of the email or the like as described above. Therefore, it is possible to prevent from repeating transmission of the notification of the current setting mode to the facility where AED 1 is installed and the setting mode of the AED 1 is intentionally set to the preschool child mode.

[0052] Further, suppose that the user U performs an operation to uncheck the check in the checkbox CB, on the user terminal 61 with the control detail screen G1 displayed. In this case, the user terminal 61 transmits operation information indicating the user’s operation to the control server 50.

[0053] Upon receiving the above operation information, the information processing unit 32 of the control server 50 stores the operation information in the storage unit 33. In this case, the information processing unit 32 resumes notifying the current setting mode to the user terminal 61 associated with the AED 1, that is, resumes transmission of the email as described above or the like.

[0054] Note that the stop operation described above may be performed not only on the user terminal 61 but also on the administrator terminal 60. For example, the administrator K requested from the facility where AED 1 is installed can stop the notification to the user terminal 61 corresponding to the AED 1 by performing the stop operation on the administrator terminal 60.

[0055] Modification 1 The information processing unit 32 of the control server 50 may be configured to determine whether the facility where AED 1 is installed is related to preschool children, based on information about the facility where AED 1 is installed registered in advance. For example, the information processing unit 32 may refer to the self-test result stored in the storage unit 33 and perform term determination on the facility name of the facility where AED 1 is installed, thereby determining whether the facility where AED 1 is installed is related to preschool children.

[0056] Then, the information processing unit 32 determines whether the current setting mode of the AED 1 is suitable for the facility where AED 1 is installed, based on the determination result. For example, suppose that an AED 1 whose current setting mode is the preschool child mode is installed at a facility not related to preschool children, such as a station, a commercial facility, or an elementary school. In this case, the information processing unit 32 of the control server 50 determines that the current setting mode of the AED 1 is not suitable for the facility where AED 1 is installed.

[0057] Also, for example, suppose that an AED 1 whose the current setting mode is set to the adult mode is installed at a facility related to preschool children, such as a nursery school, a kindergarten, pediatrics, or a child-rearing support facility. In this case, the information processing unit 32 of the control server 50 determines that the current setting mode of the AED 1 is not suitable for the facility where AED 1 is installed.

[0058] Then, when the control server 50 determines that the current setting mode of the AED 1 is not suitable for the facility where AED 1 is installed, the control server 50 transmits an email or the like to the user terminal 61 associated with the AED 1, to notify the current setting mode of the AED 1.

[0059] In this way, by the control server 50 determining whether the current setting mode of the AED 1 is suitable for the facility where AED 1 is installed, it is possible to estimate whether the current setting mode has been intentionally set. Then, when it is estimated that the current setting mode has not been intentionally set, by notifying the current setting mode to the user terminal 61, it is possible to prompt setting of a mode more suitable for the facility where AED 1 is installed.

[0060] Note that the control server 50 may be configured to transmit the determination result on whether the current setting mode of the AED 1 is suitable for the facility where AED 1 is installed, to the AED 1. In such a configuration, suppose that the current setting mode of the AED 1 is not suitable for the facility where AED 1 is installed. In this case, the AED 1 which has received the determination result can notify that the setting mode is not appropriate to the user U in the facility where AED 1 is installed, for example, by outputting an alarm when performing a self-test or when the power is switched off.

[0061] Modification 2 Further, the information processing unit 32 of the control server 50 may be configured to detect that the setting mode of the AED 1 has been changed. For example, when new self-test result from the AED 1 is stored in the storage unit 33, the information processing unit 32 checks the mode information included in the new self-test result and the mode information included in the previous self-test result received from the AED 1. If the setting modes indicated by these mode information are different from each other, the information processing unit 32 determines that the setting mode of the AED 1 has been changed.

[0062] Then, when the information processing unit 32 determines that the setting mode of the AED 1 has been changed, the information processing unit 32 notifies that the setting mode of the AED 1 has been changed, to the user terminal 61 associated with the AED 1, for example by transmitting an email or the like. In this way, the user U in the facility where AED 1 is installed can grasp that the setting mode of the AED 1 has been changed.

[0063] As described above, the defibrillator control system 100 includes an AED 1 configured to perform shock delivery to a subject, and the control server 50 configured to control in relation to the AED 1. The AED 1 is switchable between an adult mode to perform shock delivery suitable for a subject who is an adult and a preschool child mode to perform shock delivery suitable for a subject who is a preschool child. The AED 1 is configured to transmit mode information indicating whether the current setting mode is the adult mode or the preschool child mode, to the control server 50.

[0064] With such a configuration, since the control server 50 can grasp the current setting mode of the AED 1, for example, by notifying that the current setting mode of the AED 1 is the preschool child mode to the facility where AED 1 is installed, it is possible to prevent the AED 1 from operating in an unintended mode.

[0065] Further, in the defibrillator control system 100, the control server 50 is configured to identify the AED 1 whose current setting mode is the preschool child mode based on the mode information, and notify the current setting mode to the user terminal 61 associated with the identified AED 1.

[0066] With such a configuration, it is possible to prompt the facility where the AED 1 is installed in the preschool child mode to switch to the adult mode.

[0067] Further, in the defibrillator control system 100, the control server 50 is configured to accept a stop operation to stop notifying the current setting mode, and when the stop operation is performed, stop notifying the current setting mode to the user terminal 61.

[0068] With such a configuration, it is possible to prevent repeated transmission of the notification of the current setting mode to the facility where AED 1 is installed and the setting mode of the AED 1 is intentionally set to the preschool child mode

[0069] Further, in the defibrillator control system 100, the control server 50 is configured to determine whether the facility where the AED 1 is installed relates to preschool children based on information about the facility where the AED 1 is installed registered in advance.

[0070] With such a configuration, the control server 50 can estimate whether the current setting mode of the AED 1 has been intentionally set.

[0071] Further, in the defibrillator control system 100, the control server 50 is configured to determine whether the current setting mode of the AED 1 is suitable for the facility where the AED 1 is installed based on the relation-determination result on whether the facility where the AED 1 is installed relates to preschool children, and transmits the suitability-determination result to the AED 1.

[0072] With such a configuration, for example, the AED 1 which has received the suitability-determination result can notify the suitability-determination result to the user U in the facility where AED 1 is installed by outputting such as an alarm in accordance with the suitability-determination result.

[0073] Further, in the defibrillator control system 100, the control server 50 is configured to determine whether the current setting mode of the AED 1 is suitable for the facility where the AED 1 is installed based on the determination result on whether the facility where the AED 1 is installed relates to preschool children. When the current setting mode of the AED 1 is not suitable for the facility where the AED 1 is installed, the control server 50 notifies the current setting mode of the AED 1 to the user terminal 61 associated with the AED 1.

[0074] In this way, with a configuration that automatically determines whether the current setting mode of the AED 1 is suitable for the facility where the AED 1 is installed, it is possible to suppress an increase in the workload of the administrator K of the control server 50.

[0075] Further, in the defibrillator control system 100, the control server 50 is configured to detect that the setting mode of the AED 1 has been changed and notify that the setting mode of the AED 1 has been changed to the user terminal 61 associated with the AED 1.

[0076] With such a configuration, for example, on the facility where the AED 1 is installed, it is possible to grasp that the setting mode of the AED 1 has been changed unintentionally.

[0077] The communication unit 31 of the control server 50 is configured to receive mode information indicating whether the current setting mode of the AED 1 is the adult mode or the preschool child mode, from the AED 1. Further, the information processing unit 32 of the control server 50 is configured to identify the AED 1 whose current setting mode is the preschool child mode based on the received mode information, and notify the current setting mode to the user terminal 61 associated with the identified AED 1.

[0078] With such a configuration, since it is possible to prompt switching to the adult mode to the facility where the AED 1 is installed in the preschool child mode, it is possible to prevent the AED 1 from operating in an unintended mode.
