Door or window profile solves problem of lack of proper rigidity of the door or window leaf on one side, and further problem of simplification of manufacturing and assembly of profiles for doors and windows by having a central profile of metal optionally reinforced by at least one web between two opposed sides of said central profile of metal augmented by at least two essentially U profiles made of plastic material attached to both sides of said central metal profile. Further, any of essentially U profiles made of plastic can optionally be further reinforced by additional web interconnecting U-legs of said essentially U profiles made of plastic.
