AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

In existing technologies, liquid cooling and air cooling systems are difficult to manage in a one-stop manner, have low levels of intelligence, and consume a lot of energy, which cannot meet the heat dissipation needs of modern data centers.

Method used

A cabinet cooling system was designed, including a controller, a cooling capacity distribution unit (CDU), a liquid distribution unit, and an air-liquid heat exchanger. By adjusting the opening of the control valve and the flow direction of the cooling medium, the air-liquid ratio can be adjusted and the cooling mode can be switched, achieving one-stop management and intelligent control.

Benefits of technology

It realizes intelligent control of the rack heat dissipation system, which can flexibly adjust the heat dissipation according to the needs, adapt to different power density scenarios, save energy consumption, and improve the management efficiency of the system.

Abstract

Disclosed in the present application are a cabinet heat dissipation system, and a control method and apparatus therefor, which are used for performing one-stop management of cabinet heat dissipation, and improving the intelligence of cabinet heat dissipation control. The cabinet heat dissipation system comprises: a controller, a cooling distribution unit (CDU), and a liquid distribution unit and an air-liquid heat exchanger for dissipating heat from a cabinet, wherein a primary side of the CDU is connected to a cold source, and a secondary-side liquid outlet of the CDU is connected to an inlet of the liquid distribution unit and an inlet of the air-liquid heat exchanger by means of a first control valve; an outlet of the air-liquid heat exchanger is connected to the inlet of the liquid distribution unit and a secondary-side liquid return port of the CDU by means of a second control valve; an outlet of the liquid distribution unit is connected to the secondary-side liquid return port of the CDU; and the controller is configured to adjust the heat dissipation capacity of the cabinet heat dissipation system according to a preset control strategy.
