Abstract

Provided is a connector provided with: a housing; a terminal holder positioned inside the housing and configured to be capable of holding a terminal; and a retainer for setting the position of the terminal holder. The terminal holder is provided with a first terminal holding part and a second terminal holding part that are combined with each other. The retainer and the first terminal holding part are configured to be engageable with a retainer-side engaging surface of the retainer and a first terminal holding part-side engaging surface of the first terminal holding part facing each other. One of the retainer-side engaging surface and the first terminal holding part-side engaging surface is provided with: a protrusion configured to be abuttable with the other; and a first main surface region surrounding the protrusion. The other of the retainer-side engaging surface and the first terminal holding part-side engaging surface is provided with: an abutting region abuttable with the protrusion; and a second main surface region surrounding the abutting region. A recess is positioned in at least one of the region between the protrusion and the first main surface region and the region between the abutting region and the second main surface region.
