[0001] Embodiments of the present disclosure relate in general to the field of lighting and / or signalling, and more specifically to a replaceable desiccant assembly, a lamp apparatus that is fitted with such a replaceable desiccant assembly and a motor vehicle.
[0002] Lighting apparatuses are widely used in various fields to provide light for lighting and / or optical indication functions; for example, lighting apparatuses such as vehicle lamps are used in motor vehicles to ensure safe travel. During use, a lighting apparatus typically suffers from a problem of water vapour condensing and forming moisture inside a housing thereof. If excessive moisture cannot be promptly removed from the housing interior, electrical components inside the housing may be damaged.
[0003] In the industry, a conventional means to solve the abovementioned problem is to provide desiccant in the housing to adsorb excessive moisture. In certain prior art, desiccant provided in the housing is not replaceable; that is, once the absorption of moisture by the desiccant has reached a saturation point, the dehumidification function is lost.Summary of the Invention
