The invention relates to a connecting device (1) for connecting a drive unit (2) to a receiving interface (3) of a bicycle frame (4), comprising: a sleeve unit (5) having a sleeve central region (5c) extending along a first longitudinal axis (A), a first end (5a) of the sleeve unit (5) having a larger outer diameter than the sleeve central region (5c), and the opposite second end (5b) of the sleeve unit (5) having a smaller outer diameter than the sleeve central region (5c), the connecting device (1) further comprising an axial securing means (6) for mechanically connecting to the second end (5b).
