[0001] Furniture and methods for mounting a flap fitting
[0002] The invention relates to a piece of furniture according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a method for mounting a flap fitting on a furniture body of a piece of furniture.
[0003] Furniture, especially kitchen furniture or home furniture such as base cabinets or wall cabinets, usually has a front-opening furniture body to which movable furniture parts are mounted, guided by fittings.
[0004] Especially in wall cabinets, flaps are frequently used as movable components to close the cabinet body. These flaps are supported and guided by at least one, and usually two, laterally positioned hinges. The hinges allow the flap to open upwards (pivot upwards), pivoting, for example, around an imaginary horizontal pivot axis located in the upper part of the cabinet body. Other upward opening movements of a flap are also conceivable.
[0005] From publication EP 0 952 290 A2, a flap fitting is known whose housing has the form of a tall but narrow cassette, which is screwed onto an inside side panel of a cabinet below the top panel. Two such fittings are used on each side panel to guide the cabinet flap. Even though the housing is cassette-shaped and narrow, the flap fitting prevents flexible partitioning of the cabinet's interior, for example, because intermediate shelves or similar elements for interior organization cannot be used in the area of the flap fitting. Furthermore, the flap fitting is fully visible when the flap is open, which may be considered a nuisance.

The flap fitting comprises a fitting housing attached to the furniture body and a mounting element attached to the flap.

Furniture (1) comprising a furniture body (2), a flap (3) associated with the furniture body (2) and at least partially covering a front side (23) of the furniture body (2) in a closed position, at least one flap fitting (4) for opening and closing the flap (3) by which the flap (3) is attached to the furniture body (2), wherein the flap fitting (4) comprises a fitting housing (41) attached to the furniture body (2) and a mounting element (42) attached to the flap (3), characterized by at least one mounting body (5) attached to a side wall (21) or a projection (211) of the furniture body (2) above the top surface (22), to which the fitting housing (41) can be detachably attached for attaching the flap fitting (4) to the furniture body (2) by sliding it on or in in a sliding direction (z), a pressing device (8), with which the fitting housing (41) can be pressed against the top surface (22) of the furniture body (2).
2. Furniture according to claim 1, characterized in that the pressing device (8) is arranged on the mounting body (5) or the flap fitting (4).
3. Furniture according to claim 2, characterized in that the pressure device (8) has a pressure part (82) that can be slid onto a contour (43) of the flap fitting (4) or the mounting body (5).
4. Furniture according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the pressing device (8) is spring-loaded and displaceable in the sliding direction (z).
5. Furniture according to claim one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the pressure device (8) has a base body (81) on which a first locking element (83) is arranged.
6. Furniture according to claim 5, characterized in that the flap fitting (4) has a second locking element (45) that interacts with the first locking element (83) in an intermediate mounting position of the flap fitting (4).
7. Furniture according to claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the flap fitting (4) or the mounting body (5) has a receiving space (46) for receiving the first or second locking element (45, 83) in a final assembly position of the flap fitting (4).

Furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the pressure device (8) has at least one ramp (85) and the mounting body (5) or the flap fitting (4) has a counter web (53), wherein when the ramp (85) is pushed onto the counter web (53) the pressure device (8) can be deflected at least sectionally perpendicular to the sliding direction (z) away from an outer wall (44) of the fitting housing (41).
9. Furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the mounting body (5) is constructed in a mirror-symmetrical manner with respect to a horizontal mirror plane.
10. Furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the mounting body (5) is constructed in a mirror-symmetrical manner with respect to a vertical mirror plane.

Furniture according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the pressure part (82) acts with a substantially vertical force component on a contour (43), wherein, depending on the arrangement, the force component acts in the direction of the top surface (22) or against the direction of the top surface (22).
12. Furniture according to claim 3, 4 or 11, characterized in that the pressure part (82) has a contact surface which is designed as an inclined plane and / or as a curved track.

Furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a force in the sliding direction (z) acts on the pressing device (8) in the final assembly position of the flap fitting (4) and the vertical force component in the direction of the topsoil (22) or against the direction of the topsoil (22) can be generated by force redirection using the pressure part (82).

Releasing the first locking element (83) from the second locking element (45) by disengaging the interaction of the locking elements (83, 45) of the pressure device (8) by further sliding the flap fitting (4) in the sliding direction (z); e.f. Pressing the flap fitting (4) onto the mounting body (5) in a functional position of the flap fitting (4); f. Pressing the flap fitting (4) against the top surface (22) of the furniture carcass (2) by means of a pressure element (82) onto a contour (43) of the flap fitting (4) or of the mounting body (5) by releasing the pressure device (8).
